He always managed to aim for girls that were just wayyyy... out of his league. This girl seemed to fit in that category, in Livvy's own opinion.

Eeeepp. Daphne smiiiiled. That was a good sign!

Grinning cheerfully, she nodded her head. "Thank you Daphne. And it is definitely a pity they are difficult to grow. I like your pretty Irises. You're a pro at this!" Livvy found that people, especially Daphne, dealt with compliments quite nicely.

And then moving her arm in a circular motion, Livvy conjured herself MORE flowers. So delightful. Absolutely delightful. Honestly. Livvy could do this all day.

Raiden stopped his staring at the orange flowers at the invasion of her hand in his face - what was it with girls and touching his face lately - and gave her a little smile. She was all excited over... the orange flowers. Which both made him feel better and yet... still frustrated. He had wanted white.

"Would you like them, Neptune?" he asked, gathering them together and holding them out to her. She was trying the spell again, with little... blue flowers, those were cuuuuuute.

He was going to try again. And this time, he would get WHITE lilies.

"Orchideous."

He was officially giving up. Pink, now? Really? He just couldn't... win.

Looking at her now dispersed conjuration, Allison flicked her wand and all the butterflies stopped swarming all over the place and flew readly at her. With another the flick they seemed to freeze altogether.

And here it came, the moment of truth. Looking at her butterflies she wished she could give them nourishment, something they could blossom with. Yes flowers, beautiful flowers, like the ones she had seen the previous night. Something similar to those would certainly do the trick.

Closing her eyes Allison murmured the word over and over practicing the movement of her wand as well. Suddenly she opened her twinkling eyes, moved her wand in a circle before her while saying out loud, "Orchideous!"

With such small word white glowing roses appeared drooping on her desk. The sweet smell they expelled had Allison as mesmerized as the waiting butterflies. Realizing she was keeping them waiting Allison flicked her wand and the butterflies flew immediately to the flowers. This was bliss...with the exception that now she could hardly see the flowers with all the butterflies she had conjured.

Audio looked around the room at the array of different colors, shapes, and sizes that each of the butterflies took on. He didn't like this at all. The amount is what seemed to overwhelm him. Thousands (well, it felt like thousands to him) were fluttering around the room, giving Audio the odd sensation of millions of ants crawling all over his skin.

This was something that he was NOT a fan of. (That's the big boy way of saying- he was as a kitten on a broomstick) It took pretty much everything in him to keep his big-boy face on, which he did quite nicely, but when he went to preform the orchideous spell- it didn't work out too well.

He wasn't really the top-dog in Herbology, but he was pretty sure that the wilting cactus in front of him wasn't a flower...

Flowers? This lesson official sucked.

Lorcan concentrated. "Orchideous!" A single pink gerber daisy appeared.

"Huh. It looks like I can't help thinking about you." he passed the flower to Lexi.

Huh. Pro? "Thank you," she mumbled. "This room is going to turn out gorgeous if you keep it up!" And everyone else. Definitely, there were some talented students in here. Wow.

Daphne grinned, and turned her face. Hopefully, this would keep the blush at bay or at least from Livvy's line of sight. She was most definitely not a pro--she just had incentive. Someone she knew loved flowers too. Thinking about him, Daphne sort of...might have possible gone in a bit of a daze.

Heh.

Celandine looked over at Daphne and then with a big smile on her face she conjured some more flowers. Daphne and Celandine of course!

Kylie stared as everyone conjured their flowers. She first conjured a beautiful crystal vase, she wanted her desk to remain somewhat neat. It glittered slightly in the classroom. She thought about her favorite flowers... blue orchids... daisy's... pink camellia's...blue forget-me-not's...
"Orchideous." She said, as she thought of each flower, they came from her wand and poured themselves into the vase. Lilies, tulips, petunia's, all came rushing forth as well.
By the time she was complete, she had a magnificent vase full of the most beautiful flowers. For affect, she conjured sparkles to fall onto her flowers.
She sort of gawked at her own creation. She couldn't help it. She'd never made something so...pretty, even in her own eyes. And she'd made a LOT of things.

"Wow." She said, a little louder than she'd anticipated.

"Would I like them?" OH of all the silly questions! "I would be delighted to accept flowers from YOU Raiden." But he had to give them to her. Physically put them into her hands with smiles, and perhaps shy blushing to complete the look. She gave him ONE of HER Forget-Me-Nots... or she did after she TICKLED his cheek with it.

And giggled about it. One of her PURPLE butterflies LANDED ON HIS NOSE, TOO! OH CUUUUTEEE-NESSS!!!

Ian just didn't get it.

There was a loooot of giggling involved in the classroom, but he suspected that such a thing WAS fairly common since they were being taught to create flowers. Which was sort of pointless, because as some prissy-looking chap had pointed out, they wouldn't exactly be useful for them in real life.

Like ... Ian wasn't intending on ever proposing to a girl with butterflies. Or flowers. CHOCOLATE or JEWERLY was more like it, really, no? Actually, Ian wasn't e--WHY WAS THINKING ABOUT MARRIAGE?

Frustratedly scratching his head with both hands, the boy picked up his wand from where he'd left it on the desk and began to make bloody flowers.

"Orchideous! Orchideous! Orchideous!"

Red. They were all red. Like poppies. As a matter of fact, unless he was wrong (and Ian doubted it), there actually was a poppy on his desk. And he didn't even like red, because he didn't exactly look good while wearing it.

A frown crumpled his forehead.

Raiden didn't know how he felt about Neptune's butterfly landing on his face. Mostly because he didn't know if this was a named one or not. Was Kellen or Garret landing on his nose? His eyes crossed as he tried to see the thing, as if that would offer some insight into which it was.

Luckily, it didn't make him want to sneeze. Carefully, he scooted the thing onto his finger, off of his nose. So he could see and stuff, you know. It stayed there for a second before it fluttered off again.

"Here." He held out the orange flowers, his mouth twitching into a slight smile as the butterfly circled back around as if it was going to land on him again. "I think... I'm gonna try the spell one more time."

He should try it nonverbally, right? He'd been able to do the butterfly one nonverbally after a few tries...

Freeman glanced disapprovingly at the boy next to him. The older boy was virtually swimming among a sea of red blossoms, all fragrant and now wafting his way. The entire place was filled with color and light and perfume . . . HOW SILLY. All this just to multiply and populate the earth? Seriously. He just couldn't relate to the butterfly. He personally avoided strong smells.

But, a task was a task. Freeman held out his wand stiffly. "Orchideous!," he ordered.

A dark orange bud formed, dangling limply to one side of the desk. It was mottled with brown and oozing something white. Freeman drew closer for inspection, only to jerk back. It stank like fish! Old, rotting fish, an orange salmon slowly decomposing at the bottom of a stagnant pond. . . what kind of butterfly was going to be attracted to this?

Amazingly, none. However, a giant black beetle whizzed through the air and landed on the wilted stem. It began to chew thoughtfully on the white sap. Freeman chuckled in satisfaction.

Sidney watches as Professor Pilliwickle makes a beautiful bouquet of flowers appear out of her wand. It looks easy enough. Just an incantation and a simple wand movement. That can't be too difficult to master. Sidney takes her wand practices swooping her wand in a circle. Then she adds the incantation, "Ochideous!" Sidney looks down. No flowers. She tries again. Sidney swirls her wand around in a circle and says, "Ochideous!" She is surprised when a bouquet of flowers comes out from her wand. "Oooh!! Help,Professor, I think I did something wrong." Instead of a bouquet of beautiful spring flowers, there is a bouquet of dead roses on Sidney's desk.

Catching the whiff of something horribly dreadful, the fifth year screwed up his face in an expression that was full of both disgust and wonder. What on EARTH was that? Fixing his gaze on the midget next to him (hypocrite, Ian was, since he was roughly 5'5"), the fifth year stared at his ... thing flower stuff.

"What DID you do? Summon the Quidditch team's socks or somethin'?" Haha. This was a funny thought. Ian wondered how did the Lunatic Ravenclaw had for Quidditch captain -and the rest of the team, too, for that matter- managed to live what THAT smell.

And his mum thought he was filthy.

Distractedly, Ian continued to produce flowers. The same red nightmares he'd came up with before. Well, crap.

Now they were doing flowers. Barry closed his eyes, it was so much easier when you didn`t look. Then he imagened some flowers in his head and waved his wand "Orchideoes" Then out came some purple flowers. Transfiguration wasn`t that hard

Kay watch her cousin for a while. Yes he did it. Nice purple flowers. "Good job Barry." Kay with a smile. 'now if I could do that' Kay thought. Pointing her wand in the air. "Orchideoes." She looked at her wand on there was one little purple flower. "Well, ones better then none."

The professor was right she guessed. Swishing her wand more lightly, she said, "Papillio" this time conjuring up around seven bright, blue butterflies. " I did it. I did it," she chanted softly.

Hayden smiled, flowers were her favourite, after butterflies and turtles of course. "Orchideous," she said, managing to conjure up a boquet of pink and purple orchids. Yes! she thought, watching the butterflies feed. Coming to a realisation she raised her hand. "Professor," she asked, "If this is Transfiguration, how come we aren't, you know,transfiguring anything? It seems more like a charms class."

Lavi had his eyes closed with concentration. At his old school, Transfiguration had been his best subject but he had never conjured any flowers and butterflies before. He moved his wand out of his wrist holster with a flick and pointed it in the air. Uuugh! how could he concentrate with all these ...giggling girls! they could just conjure something WITHOUTTTTT giggling RIGHT?! .....With a sigh , Lavi waved his wand and shouted "PAPILIO!" while thinking of the butterflies and not the giggling. There was a small bang and to his amazement he heard something fluttering around his head. Lavi dared to open his eyes only to see Orange Butterflies flying around. Sooo pretty! . Forgetting about his "stupid giggling" theory, Lavi's face beamed with happiness and he pointed at the butterflies. "OOOH LOOK LOOOOOK!" he squeeled and watched as one of the butterflies landed on his shoulder. Teehee! Aaaand they were ORANGE! yay even better! three yay's for orange! YAY YAY YAY

OOoooOOOhkay, so the first transfiguration part was done, Lavi listened to the professor as she instructed them to conjure up flowers. Flowers hmm? Right he could do that! Still with twinkling eyes, Lavi moved his wand again and shouted "Orchideoiosus!"

*BANG!*

Orange and Red smoke erupted from the wand , covering Lavi's eye-sight. He panicked at the thought of not being able to see and he moved his arms, desperately trying to remove the smoke "I'm blind ! i'm BLIIIIIIIIIND!" .........

"oh..false alarm!" he quickly shouted when the smoke had cleared away and he saw the class in front of him again. Phew. Right, that wasn't so good , was it? Coughing slightly from the smoke he had inhaled, Lavi moved his wand yet again, this time he pictured the flowers in his mind. He thought about it so hard that his face went red and he almost started to sweat from his forehead. "Orchideous!" he shouted and this time there was only a small bang and Lavi saw that some flowers...some actually flowers.. had fallen out of his wand. Lavi stared at the bouquet he had conjured and wasn't sure if it was right. He picked the bouquet up and held it in the air. "eeeeeh, professor?! is this right..wasn't there suppose to be one colour?" or something..mweh he couldn't remember. Lavi waved with the Bouquet in his hand and waited....wait they were ORANGE AGAIN?! -_-

Mildred stood thoughtful for a moment. THAT was a hard question. She loved ALL flowers. Well, all PRETTY flowers. "I think tulips are very bootiful!" She giggled.

DEAD flowers? NUUUUU!!! What a sad sight. A saaaad, saaaad sight indeed. "That can happen if you lose concentration mid-conjure," Mildred sighed sadly, using her own wand to vanish the poor flowers. "I think you just need more practice, dear."

"There are many aspects to Transfiguration," Mildred answered with a giggle to the young girl's question. "It's not strictly just transforming things. Vanishing and conjuring is Transfiguration too!" Which was what they were doing! HEHE!

"No no no, my dear!!" Mildred beamed, picking up the small bouquet of flowers this boy had created and giving them a whiff. OOOOOH, beautiful. "I love them!" YES, she did!! And so did the butterflies!! YAY!

"You've all done a FANTASTIC job, my loves!" She called to the class... who she couldn't really see any more due to the swarms of butterflies and flowers. "But I think we'll call it a day here!" Which meant it was HOMEWORK time! With a flourish of her wand, words appeared on the blackboard.

"Now, if someone would like to open the window and set the butterflies free.. then you're all dismissed!" What a PRETTY lesson that had been!

Crossing over to a window, Jake flung it open and grabbed up his stuff. He'd get the homework from someone else, sure. With a smile to the professor, Jake crossed the room to leave. "Buhh-best llllesson evah!" he exclaimed, beaming. "Lllllater, Puhhh-professor!"

And he went to leave.

He could do MAGIC.

Barry wrote down the homework. It had been a quick lesson. But intresting. Barry looked towards the window. He couldn`t see where his pen had gone so he went over to the window and oppened it, letting out the butterflies. How beautiful. Transfiguration was Barrys second faveroute lesson.

Barry then located his pen on the floor, picked up the rest of his things and left the class wondering if there were any jobs in transfiguration

Tori copied down her homework before she packed her bag, holstered her wand and picked up a couple tulips and left.

Leave them out!? noooo! Lavi wanted to keep them as pets!
Lavi desperately tried to catch his ORANGE butterflies with his hands but failed. He mumbled something under his breath and quickly ran to his table where his school bag was laying on. He opened it and grabbed a empty jar from it........yes he mysteriously has a empty jar in his bag....SO WHA? stranger things happen here! ......

Lavi swifted towards the window when a Hufflepuff boy...he was a hufflepuff right? with the yellow? ..had opened up the window. He actually opened it up! "No! nonononono Squishies come back!" He tried to catch one of his ORANGE butterflies and miraclelously he caught one! Lavi quickly placed the lit on top and happily held his jar in the air. "Yay! i wanna keep him!" (yes the jar has air-holes) Lavi then swiftly moved out of the classroom, clutching his jar in his arms. "I'mma call you ...Orangie! and you and i are going to be beeeest friends!"

Wait...he had forgotten something, Lavi quickly ran back in to the class to grab his school bag and flung it over his shoulder. "Thanks for the lesson Professor!" he said with a bow and then waved her goodbye.

Bella smiled at the Professor as she congratulated her. She felt really proud she had finally conjured up Butterfly's. Now flowers, she told herself lifting her wand again, sneaking a look at Olivier
"Orchideous" She called calmly waving her wand a little. Once again nothing happened, it never did when she did it first time. She felt her face going a little red. Trying again she managed to conjurer some small flowers.

Sighing she tryed again, determinded the get it this time!
"Orchideous!"
Wow, flowers, and lot of them! They pured out of her wand like runny water showering her feet. She smiled, then chuckled. "There beautiful" She said softly.

Just then she heard to Professor give out the homework, Had the lesson finished already? where did the time go? Smiling at her sucess she jotted down the homework and slung her bag over her shoulder, stealing a quick glance at her next lesson. She stood near the edge of the room, watching the other students. She was quite upset as she watched her butterfly's fly out the window, she hoped she could have kept them. Sighing she made her way to the door
"Thanks for the fun lesson Professor" She called

"Thanks for the lesson, professor!" Ella smiled, copying down the homework before skipping out the door.
