Didn't like butterflies? How would he know that they were learning about butterflies though...eh. He probably just didn't want to attend this lady's class. And she couldn't blame him. All these colors and random butterflies and flowers...she didn't really feel like she was learning anything.

"Orchideous." she mumbled with the circle wand movement, watching another small bouquet of flowers appear from her wand, different from the others, yet having the same red rose in the center. Huh...Lifting the red rose out from the pile and ignoring the butterflies that were landing on the rest of the flowers, she held up both roses, examining them. Rose rose rose...the most beautiful flower.

Nikki had conjured up more butterflies. Most were purple, some where a light shade of pink, and others were icy blue. They were all fluttering around her (probably because of her strawberry scented hair). They were conjuring up flowers now? Orchideous? Orchideous. Or-KID-ee-us!

Nikki lifted her wand. "Orchideousy!" Nope nothing. "Orchideous!" Opps. Looks like she was little to...enthusastic. A LARGE red poppy flower had appeared. It was 3 times its normal size. But her butterflies didn't seem to mind, they fluttered towards the flower in blur of colors. "Oh well, no use in shrinking the flower now." Nikki said shrugging. She pointed next to the poppy. "Orchideous." Two normal sized tulips appeared. "Papilio." She whispered. Four tiny orange butterflies appeared and flew over to the tulips.

Herminny was so ready for this, she felt it would be so much fun to form flowers so hthe butterflies she conjured could feed from the pollen. With that thought she took out her wand and thought about beautiful flowers as she waved her wand and said, "Orchideous", and before her eyes flowers appeared. Beautiful butterflies inevery color of the rainbow flocked to the flowers and begain drinking their pollen. It is such a beautiful sight she thought as she smiled thing this class is just so wonderful.

Carter cleared his throat. "Or-KID-ee-us" he said firmly. He watched in amazement as flowers began appearing everywhere. Nothing too exciting, just daisies. But still!! What a neat trick! This would make bringing Marilyn flowers so much easier. He smirked thinking about this as his butterflies fluttered down to his daisies.

Okay he was loving this professor more and more each second. If only she knew how happy he was becoming by doing this right now, what having to nearly torture a spider that looked like his own he wanted nothing more than to be happy, and this was SO doing it! "Yes flowers, okay I can do this no problem. Uhhh what's the incantation again?" He muttered, glancing at Legend as he did his own spell. "Nice job Leg." he said grinning as he looked around again.

Picking up his wand again he watched his beautiful light blue butterflies fly around a bit, one landing on his shoulder. "Hey little guy." he murmured softly, wanting to hold it in his hand and dance around with a multi-colored shirt and pants on., Oh weird moment! At the thought of getting up on the desk and waving his hands in the air like he just didn't care amused him and he chuckled as he waved his wand a bit saying "Orchideous!" in a gleeful voice. Nothing happened and he frowned. "Aww..." he griped, looking at the wand movement again.

Swinging his wand like he had seen Legend do it he said the incantation again, this time with more authority, "Orchideous!" this time he was amused to see brightly colored tulips emerge from his wand. Taking them in his hand he admired the pinks yellows and green and grinned, awesome colors for sure. Oh yeah he was in his mode now for sure. Disentangling them from the bouquet he looked them over, arranging them in a heart pattern on his desk.

"Yes! Well done, dear!" Mildred congratulated when the girl who'd been having a spot of bother finally managed to conjure up some butterflies! "Now try some flowers!"

"They're BEAUTIFUL!" Mildred beamed happily, admiring the girl's flowers with bright eyes. So preeetttyyy! "Your butterflies seem to like them too!"

"Hmmm. Did you picture dull flowers, dear?" Mildred asked, scratching her chin thoughtfully, "I think you just need a little more practice at the concentrating." Poor, dull flowers.

"YAAAAAAY!!!" Mildred sung loudly, clapping her hands together when the stuttering boy conjured his flowers. Well... just a tiny daisy. But STILL! He seemed so happy! So she was happy for him!! "Excellent job!"

CABBAGE?

"Oh dear," Mildred pouted slightly, brow wrinkling more than it already was. "That won't do at all, no." By the looks of it, butterflies didn't like cabbage. Cabbage was no good for brightening up the room either. "Did you get the wand movement correct? Circular. Try again, sweetie."

Who SQUEALED?

Mildred turned to find a rather excited girl. And she had good reason to be excited!! "OOOOH! They're enjoying those, aren't they!?" She giggled, watching as her butterflies fluttered around her flowers.

"If the spell is performed correctly," Mildred started with a sweet smile, "then you should be able to conjure what it is you imagine in your mind. It does take a lot of practice!" Especially for people who got easily distracted like herself.

"Well done, my love!" Mildred sighed proudly, when another of the youngsters grew excited over their achievements. Nothing beat feeding young minds!

Was this another late comer?

Mildred blinked a little when a girl wandered in and took a seat. Oh dear, oh dear. "Sweetie, the lesson started a good while ago. Two points from Ravenclaw and DO try be punctual next time!" She wasn't expecting the children to turn up MEGA early. But at least on time!


"Oooooh, aren't you the gentleman!" Mildred gushed in appreciation when a nice young man presented her with a bouquet of flowers. "I looooove ROSES! I'll put these on display in my office!" GIGGGLE!

"You're all doing marvellous jobs!" Professor Pilliwickle called to the entire class with a happy twirl. "Keep it up, everyone!"

Emily was so excited, she LOVED this spell! She already had it, almost, perfected.

"Orchideous!" She said. Flowers of all colors spread out upon her desk.

"Yes! PRofessor I did it! I love this spell!" She might be a little overexcited but...she. Did. it!!!

"Orchideous!", Avery said. A single crimson rose appeared. Avery caressed the petals of the rose in amazement.

Conjuring flowers now? Sure, why not? It's not like he could grow the finicky little things...

Kellen tried a few times, producing a few wildflowers here and there, and then thought about it; really thought about it. What was the flower that he would most want to conjure when he walked up to Chaucer, told him he'd missed a great class, and show him what they learned?

"Orchideous!" And there it was. There was only one, and it looked a little wilted, but he resolved to try again. By the time this class was over, he'd have the blue rose perfected and Chaucer would be so jealous he'd never miss another Transfiguration lesson in his life!

Arya's eyes lite up, this was a spell she had been wanting to learn. Her dad would always counjore flowers for her mom. Doing the proper motions she said, "Orchideous!"and only a few flowers appeared. Frowning, she concentrated hard on the spell with her eyes closed before reapeating it. "Orchideous!" Cracking open her eyes, she saw dozens of yellow daisys surrounding her. Smiling with acomplishment she looked at her butterfly's. "Okay Riki, Tiki, and Tavi...eat up!" As her butterfly's went to feed she noticed that a few still didn't have names. "Hmm, I guess I'll call you two...Oh! I know, Abra and Cadabra!"She sat back and watched as they feed happly.

Hmmm. Butterflys were picky.

Lucille concentrated and tried again. She thought that this time she would stay away from the colour green - it was farrr to close to vegatables, as the cabbage had already proved. She concentrated, instead, on orange. The same colour as her butterflies.

"Orchideous." She said firmly, making sure to do the wand movement right.

To her astonishment, orange flowers bursted onto the desk infront of her.

She blinked at them.

"PROFESSOR PROFESSOR!!" She cried. "I think i did it! Did i do it? i mean, i cant have, ive nearly killed a butterfly AND conjured a cabbage already this lesson. Something MUST have gone wrong, musn't it?"

She blinked up at the proffesor. This was too good to be true.

Alexa smiled at Professor Pilliwickle and closed her eyes. She pictured more beautiful butterflies. This lot was a bit more detailed and she was uber excited to see them. Doing the wand movement, Alexa spoke the incantation, "Papilio". Opening her eyes she saw that they were just as she had imagined them, 7 more butterflies went to join her solid pink ones on the daisies she had conjured.

Smiling once more she shut her eyes and imagined the next batch of flowers. Smiling brightly she opened her eyes and said, "Orchideous" as she did the proper wand movement. TO her delight a beautiful bouquet of flowers popped out of the end of her wand. She fought back the urge to squeal again as the newly conjured butterflies began to feed on the bouquet of mixed flowers she lay on her desk.

Kailey smiled. She found this rather interesting, the butterflies were fluttering around her happily. Ok so I have to think up a flower in my mind, concentrate and say Orchideous. Sounds easy enough Kailey thought as she concentrated on what kind of flower she wanted to appear. she kept on telling herself Black rose and pictured it in her mind over and over again.

When Kailey finally thought that she had it she cleared her throat and recited "Orchideous!" and flicked her wand at her desk. She was surprised when she found a bundle of black roses on her desk. Normally, she would've probably had said Orc-Hideous and then ....it would just suck...epicly. But she was very confident with her results as the butterflies motioned over to the flowers.

"Wow, that was really fun!" Kailey said laughing.

Celandine couldn't help but giggle at Neptune's comment. Really? Robert Toussaint asking someone to marry him with butterflies?

She couldn't see it.

She just couldn't.

But ZOMG if he did? She and Neptune would be SISTER IN LAWS.

Cela cast some flowers, non-verbally of course, pleased to see the cheerful blooms of peonies come from her wand. She conjured some purple roses too and she couldn't resist arranging them into a pretty bunch either.

FLOWERS? Eep, this was her new favorite class! She loved CoMC and everything, but conjuring butterflies, and flowers, all in one lesson? PRETTY. Natasha loved it. It was the best class she'd been to. It was so much fun.

She could hardly refrain from bouncing up and down in her excitement, but at the same time was concentrating on the new spell. Tasha waved her wand, grinning at the picture in her mind. "Orchideous!" Hehe.

She'd conjured up a bouquet of roses, and grinned. They were so beautiful. Nat loved roses.

"I did it!" She beamed as her pink butterflies flew towards her and her roses. They were full off prettiness. Natasha giggled. She was a bit too excited, she'd conjured up much more then she'd meant to.

Dylan smiled, "You are most welcome. Every lady deserves flowers." He winked at her. She might be old. But hey, he could give her flowers if he wanted to.

Awww, this was one of the best days EVER. Grinning at... wasserface, Jake held himself proudly and looked around at the classroom. He was not even disheartened by the fact that everyone else was so much better. If he could do this, he could do anything (Jake was forgetting his first year when he'd found magic... okay).

"Or-kid-ee-us!" the boy anounced again, pointing his wand at the air in front of him. This time, he didn't get a daisy, but a small pile of leaves that were obviously from some kind of ash tree. Scratching at his head with his wand, Jake blinked.

He was just tired... and making MAGIC!

He was getting the knack of it again. Now he just had to catch up on the last two years' practical edumacation.

Tori said the incantation in a clear voice, "Orchideous."Almost immediately, a couple dozen tulips erupted around her, on her table, in her lap and one in her hair. She giggled as she plucked it out, "I wonder how that got there?"

She said it again in the same clear voice, "Orchideous." Another couple dozen tulips appeared and piled on the ones that were there before. "Professor it looks like I've made my desk into a garden."Tori said giggling.

After the failed attempt at orange butterflies, Raiden was fairly sure... he wasn't going to get whatever flowers he wanted. There was one that he finally focused on. Those white lily ones were nice, so...

"Orchideous!"

...oh.

Why were they ORANGE?! Raiden frowned at the flowers that had burst into existence, as if looking at them so would make them turn white. They stayed orange. They didn't even look GUILTY about being the wrong colour. They just SAT THERE. OFFENSIVELY BRIGHT ORANGE.

STARE.

Immensely proud of himself for actually doing the spell properly the first time, William decided to try again. This time I'll try for pansies in a soft pink color he mused to himself as he looked at his wand, egging it on to keep doing its job. Chanting the spell in his head for a moment or two he knew he was ready, or so he hoped anyway. The dark feeling was coming back again and he knew he needed to get back in the groove.

Swishy swirly motion. Got it.

Rolling up his sleeve he closed his eyes briefly then opened them again before doing the wand movement. " Orchideous!" he exclaimed in a chipper voice. As soon as he said the spell he immediately saw a vast amount of flowers come flitting out of his wand. At least 25 pansies came shooting out of the wand, littering his desk with a neon pink mess that looked like a mass pile of...pink.

At least it was festive. And they were pansies, right? Looking up at the professor he grinned sheepishly, "Would you like a pansy professor? It's neon pink though." he blushed a bit before chuckling.

Chris looked around as the other students were conjuring up their flowers and the Prefect finally got up the courage to make his. He pulled his wand out and did the correct motion and then imagined the flowers in his head. That was all he thought about before he said the incantation. "Orchideous!"

He had closed his eyes as he pictured the roses and then opened them to see the amazing Gryffindor boutquet. "Professor Pilliwickle!" he loved that name! "Do you like my flowers Professor?!" he asked excitedly.

Emily then looked up from feeding the butterflies... "Professor what are YOUR favorite flowers?" Emily asked.

This class was SO much fun! Vashti had been looking forward to all her classes, but Transfiguration was definitely her favorite. The classroom was so colorful and beautiful with all the butterflies floating around and with the flowers that they were all conjuring. So awesome!

"Papilio," she said, waving her wand the way the professor had showed them and conjuring up a pretty, bluish color butterfly. She grinned, watching it as it floated a few inches from her wand. "Orchideous!" A tulip popped up on her desk. Vashti grinned as she watched her butterfly fly to the new flower to take in the nectar. Hungry little fellow, wasn't he?

Butterfly and Flowers. A perfect combination.

Orchideous muttered Daniel and came daffodils. Bunch of daffodils flutter in his hand. He must remember to let Raven have some after this.

He thought as he look around and see what the others are doing.

"OoooOooooooooOOoo Raaaaaaaiden!" Neptune began in her awe-inspired COOs. "OooooOOOOOoooooo BEAUTIFUL!" She looked around for the Professor to try and get her attention. She should LOOKIT!!!

Neptune's little nose scrunched up approvingly of her Raiden's flower and she TOUCHED the flower, then HIS nose, then GIGGLED about the WHOLE thing.

Now she was going to WOW him with her OWN skills. Neptune Bott, surprisingly enough, knew much about flowers. She WHIRLED her wand around, her little face SET with INTENT on a CERTAIN flower. "Orchideous!"

OH ... almost... perfect! Sort of. Neptune pretended the two itty bitty flowers were exactly as she intended at any rate. "Forget-Me-Nots," HINT HINT RAIDEN. HINT HINT to ALL the boys! Really, how tragic would it be for Neptune to leave class with only flowers she'd conjured herself?
