Tibi had been absentmindedly admiring his butterflies as other people answered the question about what they ate. He was brought back to reality by a rather excited sounding squeal. Looking toward the source, he saw a rather excited Jake and a... wilted daisy? Looking around the room, Tibi quickly realized that they'd moved on to conjuring flowers. Wait. Jake had conjured a flower? Tibi smiled. He'd make sure to go talk to his friend later. Focusing, again, on the class, he closed his eyes and pictured a white easter lily. "Orchideous." When Tibi opened his eyes, it was a black-eyed susan laying on his desk instead. But hey. It was a flower, right? Two butterflies swooped down to drink, the others still flitting around his desk, waiting for their flower, too. |
Iris grinned brightly at the professor. Very enthusiastic. More of the teachers should be like her. She watched the wand movement and listened to the incantation: or-KID-ee-ous. Right. Iris muttered it a few times and then picked up her wand, and tried the movement a few times. Then she put them together. "Orchideous!!" she muttered. Hmmm. No flowers ... Awww. SAD FACE!! Iris thought about a type of flower - the best type of flower. The flowers that were so truely awesome that only her name [Goddess of the Rainbows. Duh] could live up to. The Rainbow Roses. Who ever came up with messing with the genetics of Roses to make these were GENIOUS'S!! Seriously - they were. Iris gave the spell another go. She did the movement and smontaneously said the incantation, "Orchideous!!!". This time it worked - huge, beautiful, rainbow coloured roses had sprouted from her wand. EEEP!!! hehe. They were B-E-A-UTIFUL!!! hehe. "Professoooorrr!! I diid it!" She quealed as the butterfly left her hair and landed on the flower. NOMNOMNOMONMNOM!!! |

Yep. Apparently she was. His mouth turned downwards as he watched her perform the incantation. Keep your words clear.. so no mock Italiano this time? Right. Got it. He stood, not looking too happy about this and waved his wand. “Or-KID-ee-us” he said in very clear English. A single flower sprouted from the end of his wand. Well.. that was something – and a hell of a lot better than a massive man-eating butterfly. He eyed his pet again but it seemed too distracted by the prospect of freedom to be attracted by the flowers. Good. “Or-KID-ee-us” He said again and a bouquet of white lilies landed on his desk which immidaitely attracted a few of the other student's butterflies. |
Alexa was about to bust she was so excited. Even Lorcan's stinky attitude wouldn't get her down today. She would deal with him later. Grrrrrr. She watched her butterflies flutter around and smiled, closing her eyes and imagining the most beautiful bunch of flowers she waved her wand and said, "Orchideous" She peeked and was amazed to see the beautiful bunch of gerber daisies she had ever seen. She actually squealed with delight. "Look, Professor, look, look!" she exclaimed, positively beaming. She giggled as her beautiful pink butterflies fluttered around and lighted on the daisies. |

"Thanks for the offer, but ive conjured up some now. Look" She pointed at her colourful butterfly's, "Arnt they just beautiful?" She asked him, looked at him. |
Satine's butterflies had all landed in her hair giving her a halo or crown of iridescent butterflies. She smiled at the thougth of flowers...."Professor, can we create any type of flower we image...I mean will we be able to make both muggle and wizard flowers...and can we create flowers of our own design?" she said picturing heart shaped flowers in her head. |

What an embarrassment. He barely even had the time to register the girl that had come to deliver him that butterfly. Eh. Another stalker?! Please, he couldn't hand any more stalkers, right now. Especially one who thought he might like butterflies. He liked watching them, nothing more. In the wild. Hah. And now they were meant to produce flowers in order to feed their butterflies?! Hadn't she said the butterflies would be freed in the end of the class? Then they could feed then, no? Sebastian thought so, honestly. "Orchideous." Sebastian said, rather boringly, swooping his wand in a circle. A bouquet of flowers appeared on his desk. Very, very small flowers. Mmmm. At least he had an excuse when people asked him why he didn't offer flowers to girls. |
Becca had a hard time condentrating with all the little Blue and Yellow butterflies zooming around her head, but she managed. Or-KID-ee-us. "Or-KID-ee-us. Or-KID-ee-us." Becca said it a few times to make sure she had it down, and then when she was ready, gave it her best shot, "Orchideous!" The flowers that appeared were not at all appealing in dull shades of brown, they were certainly not the average bunch of flowers, but the butterflies didn't mind. They instantly swarmed around and began munching away happily. Oi vey! When did she get so bad at Transfiguration? and What was she going to do about it? |

He went back to watching the Butterfly!Monster. in case it decided to make a move and follow it's creator to his hiding place. |

Of COURSE...she didn't want to feed the butterflies, but it was the next thing they were going to conjure. At least they were flowers. She loved flowers if she were to admit it. Though she had no clue how to do this spell, so she sat up and watched the Professor's demonstration. Well that didn't seem too hard. Simple really. With the swooping circle motion of her wand, and a clear "Orchideous", a few flowers sprouted from her wand, landing on the desk in front of her. The most beautiful of them of course was the one red rose that sat in the middle. Hmm, now she remembered where she had seen this spell. Josh had done it last year in the...dueling...room. Bad memories... Where was Josh anyway? She hadn't seen him since Muggle Studies class. And she definitely would have spotted him in here if he...was here. "Hey Destiny." she whispered, looking around at everybody and picking up the rose. "Have you seen Josh? Just...out of curiosity that is." One of her silver butterflies though had swooped down and landed on the rose. Silver and red. An excellent combination of colors if she did say so herself. |

Text Cut: Pilliwickle Now this was worth putting some energy into! Grinning, Daphne abandoned her position. She was through observing Garret Crocker be...Garret Crocker. The "We're conjuring flowers now," she said to him, nose returning to its classical wrinkle. "Just so you know." Once more, Daphne turned her brightest grin in the Professors direction. WHY couldn't they have done this from the beginning. Clearing her throat, Daphne rolled her shoulders before sweeping her left arm in an arch. Circle. We're making a circle. While she did that, she thought of the prettiest and best flowers she knew. "Orchideous!" Choosing Neptune's desk for the reception area, Daphne almost clapped at how brilliant her bouquet of tulips had turned out. They looked pretty even from a distance. Maybe she should conjure one for Raiden too! Then they could be FLOWER MATES. Coughing, Daphne placed a dainty hand against her lips. She was not to laugh at Raiden Kururugi. But...Merlin, his life was just filled with funnies as of late. |
Ooooooh they could feed the butterflies?!?! Why was she getting so excited about that? It was...weird.This class was bringing out her childish side... Right, so a circle and Orchideous? She could do that, sure.Simple.... Biting her lip, Sarah closed her eyes and tried to visualise a nice bunch of flowers.Bright and colourful and cheery. No specific breed, so she was slightly surprised when she said the spell, "Orchideous!", and came up with some of her fave flowers. "Oooh nice! Come on little butterflies, dinnertime," she said cheerily, holding them out for her yellow beauties to come to. |

The Professor made it look so easy. Unless it was just that easy. Pointing her wand at the desk, since she didn't want flowers to get in anyone eyes, she did the swooping circle movement, 'Orchideous!' a bouquet of carnations landed atop of her desk! They smelled soo nice and were soo pretty, until the butterflies land on top of them. Upon hearing Evelyn's question, Destiny stopped the flow of flowers, 'Nooo.' Why did she want Josh, hmmm? 'I haven't seen him. Maybe he doesn't like butterflies.' Oh jeeez, the flowers were being attacked by butterflies! |
Neptune settled down. So they weren't bottle feeding her baby butterflies, but FLOWERS had to be the next best thing, right!? Oh just THINK of all the flowers she'd be given after class from all her boys? Did they know she liked pink flowers best? Hmmm. Guess time will tell! Concentrating hard on a flower that would match her butterflies, Neptune WHIRLED her arm around and PRESTO! "Orchideous!!!!!!! " Neptune SHOUTED. Then the shrieks of joy, "EEEEEEEEK! BEAUTIFUL!!" Quote:
They were a little overshadowed by Daphne Hopton's display on her desk, to which Neptune wrinkled her nose. Suppose though, that since Daphne's butterflies had been SO heinous, the girl felt like she had to compensate with showboating her tulip bouquet. Neptune would have done the same, but it earned the Gryffindor a look from Neptune. "Here here, darling Raiden the Butterfly! And you, too Kellen and Garrett! Come lookie what Neptune has for you!" Neptune GIGGLED with SO MUCH delight as one by one, her Butterfly!Boys fluttered her way! |

“Want some flowers?” He half heartedly waved his conjured lilies under the girl's nose. What did he want with a bouquet of lilies? |
Nate was starting to enjoy this class. So what kind of flowers do tigers like? he thought. He concentrated on lions, and bears, and Oh! My's as well as flowers. Maybe they would all com together. "Orchideous!" he said inside his head. He opened his eyes and on his desk was a boquet of flowers that had brown furry stems and flowers that were yellow and fuzzy on the edges. They even had little tiny Oh My!'s on them. He was so proud. Not excatly what he was going for but still freaking awesome. "Professer, umm, are mine gonna eat them? I was thinking of 'Lions, Tigers, & Bears, Oh My!' from a muggle movie." he said looking sort of scared. He even forgot his fact British accent. |

FLOWERS! Usually, Livvy thought flowers despicable... gross... misleading... icky... and all those pessimistic characteristics, but again... she was quite bipolar. Today was just one of those days. Practically everything seemed joyous and happy to her. Squids? GORGEOUS. Dinosaurs? CUTE. Stinky skunk? ... MARVELOUS. Yes. There was most definitely something wrong with her. Moving onnnnn.... "ORCHIDEOUS!!!" MUAHAHAHAHA. Livvy shouted with much glee and force. EEEEE. PWEETTTYY. She admired the pretty blue-ish purple orchids that had popped out before her on her desk. This was SOOOO cool. Of course... Those Clothes Transfiguring spell exercises were difficult to beat... but still. AWESOMENESS. Miss Pickle was a pretty rad teacher. Glancing around, Livvy smiled over at Daphne's bouquet of pretty flowers. "Pretty flowers you conjured there Daphne," she complimented happily. She almost forgot about the tension that always seemed to linger in the air between them. ALMOST. |
Emily was kind of down, she hadn't managed to conjure any butterflies... but she lifted her wand again. "PAPILIO" she said and there went butterflies from her wand. Emily's eyes nearly popped out of her head, FINALLY! "ORCHIDEOUS" Emily said, and a bouquet of tiger and Jacqueline lilies popped out of her wand "Professor look! I'm doing it I'm feeding my butterflies!" Emily was excited, she even was less irritated by the extremely irritating professor who was teaching. |
Oh my God! Oh my God! Keeley had been soo excited for her favorite class of all time! As she skipped in, she smiled at the professor, "Hello!" And sat down, fixing her fluffy pink hair that rather resembled cotton candy. As the lesson started, she got even ore excited. Flowers and butterflies, no matter how dumb and girlie, were pretty fun. She managed to do it easily, probably on her third try. Her flowers were all sorts of colors, and she was now messing with them distractedly. |
"Orchideous" Dylan called, waving his wand. A bouquet of roses formed in his hand. He smiled, and bowed infront of Pilliwickle, "For you Professor." He offered the flowers to her. |

Most of the time. Maybe she should just conjure something more simple and less...attention-grabbing. Quote:
Sweeping her wand-arm in a circular motion, Daphne conjured another little bouquet of blue Iris flowers. |
Gosh, the Professor was one of a kind! Her enthusiasm made Miranda feel like a five year-old. And now they were going to conjure up MORE STUFF! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! And Oliver seemed to have moved from his desk. Yeah, she would have done that too, imagine getting that butterfly coming at you. Like...in your face. She shuddered. Okay, so... Orchideous... Allright. Miranda took a breath, prepared and once more grabbed her wand firmly. She let her hand draw a circle in the air and, "Orchideous!" She said firmly and accidentally flicked her wand to agressively which made it fly from her hand. Oops! Hoping it hadn't poked someone in the eye, she went down on her hands and knees and began to scan the floor for it. |
This was all torture. Now he knew what the spiders in DADA would have felt if his spell had actually worked. First Butterflies, now flowers. Couldn't they conjure something...useful? Like....ANYTHING....like....a rock? Legend made a face and began swinging his wand. "Ooooorchideous. ORRRchideous. Orch-your- KIDD-ing-me-ous." He knew no flowers would come out. Why would he want a flower anyways? Okay serious time now! Making the wand movement me concentrated on a picture of a flower. Like the one he had seen outside somewhere during summer. "Orchideous!" With a flick of his wand a small bouquet of orange and red tulips appeared. Yaaaay. Not. |
