Gosh. GOSH. Asking someone like Cela their favourite charm wasn't a good idea. Cela had spent the entire walk up from the greenhouses listing each and every charm she knew and why she liked it and why it might be in the running for her favourite before finally reaching a decision at approximately the same time as she and Phoebus reached their intended destination.

"... so I guess I'd have to say Glisseo is my favourite charm, just because its the one that was like, the catalyst for me making friends with Daphne."

She adjusted her grip on the pot and smiled up at Phoebus as they neared the hospital wing.

Well it appeared that Cela was not only a charms prodigy by nature, but by choice. The girl could TALK about Charms.


Phoebus nodded as she said Glisseo was her favorite. " I think my favorite is probably Aguamenti. Just like it," He said, shrugging with his hands in his pockets. " Oh yeah? Daphne. Hmm. I dont' know why I can't see her enjoying the Glisseo that much." He said, smiling a little at her as they got closer to their final destination.

There was more finger waggling from Celandine. "Aguamenti isn't a charm. That just opens up a whoooooooole bunch more possibilities! If we're talking Transfiguration as well, well I really like switching spells and vanishing spells and for conjuring I think Aqua Eructo is the superior water conjuring charm, it conjures more water and you can direct exactly where you want the flow of it to go." Cela chattered. "Its a higher pressure water charm."

Ohhh Daphne did so, even if she didn't admit it. She liked sliding. Yes she did. Cela giggled a little, keeping the joke to herself even if her laughter still managed to be infectious.

She peeked at Phoebus over her shoulder and stepped through the door into the hospital wing.

The finger waggling in his face was rather ...amusing. Phoebus laughed again and had to concede defeat. " True. Very true." He said, wagging the finger. " But...Aguamenti is a kind of Charm." He argued genially.

Giggling for no reason? Well...it was cute, yes. Weird? Yes. Understandable? Not quite? But he went along with it, chuckling at her.He made his way through the doors, glancing over at Cela and wondering when they would meet the new Healer.

Lorelai chuckled lightly and then proceeded to nod once. "Never mind. Can I call you Patricia? Or do you prefer Accent!boy? I dont like Pier-RRRRUH. It sounds stupid." Whoopsie, that sounded mean. How it was intended "When I say it, it sounds stupid... Not that your name is stupid." Which it totally was.

Hehe.

Pierre laughed when she asked if she could call him Patricia or Accent!boy. Then she said his name was stupid, which stopped his laughter right away. He knew her next statement was just so she didn't seem mean. "If you don't want to call me Pierre, I guess Accent!boy is fine." He chuckled lightly.

Georgie gave a faint chuckle, "Yes, but Kay's with him so hopefully she can help him out." she smiled at Mina, then shook her head, "What I don't understand is, why would he go there in the first place? Rex has told us multiple times how clumsy he is!" she rolled her eyes, she fully believed him now. "I would've stayed away. The only reason I go anywhere NEAR the tree is so I can draw it!" speaking of...she hadn't done any drawing yet...and she really really needed to!

Lorelai laughed a bit; and nodded. "Yeah, I'll stick with Accent!boy, so accent boy... How comes you came here? Instead-a staying in BoooBattErns. Yeah... That one." Who cared that she had failed on the name of the school? Obviously she didn't.

Ha.

Pierre chuckled a little. He sighed. He knew this question was probably going to come up sooner or later. "My father got a job at the Ministry in London, so I was kind of forced to move here with my family." He didn't know what else to say or ask at this moment. He hated answering that question.

A MINISTRY? WOWWWEEEEE. "So your fathers quite important? Or is he totally just like... A CHIMNEY SWEEP. OHMYGOD. Your fathers a chimney sweep." She could NOT be seen with a chimney sweeps child. Oh, her poor reputation. OH GOSH.

Time to flail.

Well, Jake was right; he really wasn't about to get very far. But... the corridor was nice and cold and the floor seemed quite comfortable.

Wandering over to a specific place, the queasiness in his stomach an uncomfortable reminder of his stupid fast actions, Jake slid down onto the floor and curled into a ball, placing his head on the flagstones.

Niiiiice and cold.

And... lonely.

Because now Lawson had new favourites, and Jake was just brushed to the side. (Okay, so that wasn't it, but in Jake's paranoid mind it so was.)

Thalia wandered aimlessly around the castle, looking for new secret passage ways or just asking portraits along the corridors random questions. She was also in hope of running into someone. She would not mention who. Twirling her wand in between her fingers.

What floor was she on? Oh yeah, three wasn't it? Humming to herself she stopped and almost turned a corner before pausing. She back tracked herself. Thalia saw Jake sitting on the ground. She stood there for a second before asking, "What are you doing?"

Pierre was starting to get used to the way that she was acting. It was kind of amusing in it's own little way. "He's not a chimney sweep. He works in the Magical Creatures department. Something about animals fascinates him." He never really got the whole Magical creatures thing. Never was big on them.

Storming out of the hospital ward, Marcus looked up and down the corridor until he spotted Jake curled up into a ball on the floor. If it had been any other day he probably would have felt sorry for him but his behavior back in the hospital room was just not on as far as Marcus was concerned.

He made his way over the little brat, ignoring the girl that was talking to him for the moment. Marcus looked down at the boy and narrowed his eyes. "What the hell was that all about back there?" He was tempted to drag the boy to his feet but he knew that Jake was not feeling well.

Marcus crossed his arms over his chest, "And don't you dare give me 'I'm-not-feeling-well-crap' either."

Ooh. Teacher. She backed away from the scene. This may lead to something not good so she would make a dash for it if it led to something worse. Something way worse. She tucked her wand in her back pocket and stood there with her arms crossed against her chest, silent for once in her life.

Staring straight at the floor, Jake was conserving his energy and decided not to look around at who was speaking. He recognised her voice anyway.

"I'm luhh-lying in th-the thuhh-third fffloor cuhh-corridor," he muttered wearily, not moving. "With muhh-my head ag-ag-against the fuhh-floor."

Yep. About right.

Okay. That voice was enough to make Jake glance around (without actually moving his head), a hint of a smile on his lips. Yay for getting your own way.

But theeeeen, seeing Lawson's expression made Jake stare back at the floor again, trying not to pout (and failing). He should have known Lawson only wanted to talk to him to have a go at him. Hmph.

Waiting until the man was done, Jake didn't look up at Lawson, but shifted so he was more facing the other way, but not before he answered with. "I'm not ffffeeling well," in a sullen voice.

"You know I ought to clip you around the ear for that." Marcus lowered himself to the floor so that he could speak to the boy properly. It was a long way to look down after all.

He pressed himself against the wall and gave the Slytherin girl a fleeting glance before looking back at Jake. "You didn't have to storm out of the room especially when you are still not one hundred percent. I want you to understand that as a professor the students of this school will require my attention."

Surely Jake knew that he was the one who got most of Marcus' attention, he certainly never made it a secret.

Welllllll, lookie who was resorting to... threats? Was it a threat? An implication? SOMETHING to do with violence anyway.

Moving around so he could see Lawson again, Jake tried to keep his expression straight and stared up at the man. "G-g-go on thuhh-then," he said with a totally straight face, his eyes daring the man.

The boy shifted around so he was laying flat on the floor with the side of his face pressed against the cool stone... and he sighed. "Yuhh-you just wwanna suhh-spend time with thuhh-the others. I buhh-bet you loved it when Jjjjosh..."

Jake trailed off, fearing he may have gone too far. Without another word, he pushed himself up and attempted to run off, but totally misjuged it and nearly ran into the wall. He rubbed at his eyes, using the wall as support and not looking at Lawson. "Duhh-dylan's your ffffavourite. Why duhh-don't you gggo buy him a buhh-butterbeer?"

Oh yeah. He was being a brat.

"Well it would certainly make us even wouldn't it? Seeing how you got a free shot last year." Yep it was a low blow but Marcus had finally had enough of Jake's tantrums.

Marcus jumped to his feet in a flash, the moment he knew Jake was going to make a run for it. Grabbing the boy by the back of the robes, he practically lifted him off the floor. It wasn't as easy as it used to be when he had been smaller but still he was able to manage it.

"Let's go for a walk shall we? Cool off that temper of yours." Well Lawson was the one doing the walking, Jake was being dragged by the robes behind the older man.

Oh...

...

Well that stopped Jake there in his tracks. The boy froze and kind of went totally numb for a moment, not moving. Who knew Lawson could be so nasty?

That HADN'T been Jake's fault.

When Lawson grabbed his robes, Jake tried to pull away immediately but found it impossible. "I duhh-don't hhhave a TEMPER!" he exclaimed, trying to grab at something to hold him back.

In fact, the flailing miiiiight have been seen as a kind of... childish tantrum.

Well, he was learning still!

Svensson and the floating girl finally reached the third floor corridor. He was slightly out of breath, but it was more from the intense concentration that levitating a human being required. He didn't want to hit her against a wall or a statue, and he wanted to watch her to be sure of this. But it was really really difficult to go upstairs when fully concentrated on a spell. Somehow, though, he had managed.

And now he was going to take a break. For his mind, mostly. He gently lowered the girl to the floor by the wall and lowered his wand for a bit. After he had caught his breath, he cast the spell again and continued walking toward the hospital wing.

"Yeah, I dunno... that was really awkward," said Enid as they walked aimlessly down the corridor, searching for that giant green worm Cesar liked to call his pet. She turned to him as he whistled and scoffed. "Oh, what? Don't tell me the worm is trained to actually come running to you like a dog," she said, not at all believing a snake could honestly be that trained.

And then Fendi arrived, proving the girl wrong and making her jaw drop. Nooooo!
And as if it wasn't bad enough that the worm was within a one-mile radius of the girl, it was... heading... in... her... DIRECTION. "The bloody hell... why's your snake coming to me, Helsing?!" she demanded, taking a couple steps back as she spoke.

But it was too late. Fendi was now approaching the girl and aiming to settle around her shoulders. Enid jumped. And she wanted to scream, she really did, but having this poisonous and deadly creature now resting merrily on her had made her lost her voice. She couldn't speak. Her mouth was open but no sound came out. Completely horrified, she turned her wide-eyed gaze to Cesar, silently demanding with her eyes - GET. IT. OFF!

"Way to increase the akwardness!", she whispered. She watched as he called to the snake, and the snake obeyed coming back only to sit riiiight on Slick's shoulders. Becca held her breath, not intending on finding out what Slick would do to her if she laughed. "Loving the new boa, Slicks!" She grinned, before bursting out laughing.

Cesar laughed even harder as Enid stiffened with horror and shock. "ahh, Fendi likes you Enid! That is so adorable. What would I look like if I decided to seperate the two of you? Comeone silly lets walk" said Cesar, still laughing and completely abandoning Enid with her request to remove the snake from her.

Becca nodded, "It's adorable!! And you'd be suuuch a cute couple!". Becca continued down the hallway chuckling. "You guys should totally date!!"
