Sarah was excited to get away from the castle for a bit, relax in Hogsmeade.She had agreed to meet Ryder at the Three Broomsticks, one of the few places she hadn't visited in the little village.Pushing open the door she could spot several of the students, but not her boyfriend.Sighing, Sarah strode over to an empty table, plopped herself down, and perused the menu. "Hmmm soup or sandwich," she mumbled to herself, running a finger down the list and feeling her full bag of coins with the other.

He was running late, which was never good, but seeing as he had asked Sarah to meet HIM at the Three Broomsticks, it wasn't good. He was supposed to be the one there first. He could only hope that she was only getting there herself.

He pushed the door open to the Three Broomsticks and heard some of the chatter of his fellow students as he scanned the place looking for Sarah. His face fell slightly as he saw her already sitting in a booth. So he hadn't beat her here. Pushing that aside though, he smiled, and waved at her hoping that she would notice as he made his way over to the table she was sitting at.

Instead of sitting on the opposite side of her, he sat down beside her, and took the hand that wasn't holding onto the menu she seemed absorbed in and said, "anything good on there?"

Sarah had been looking up occassionally from the menu, every time she'd heard the door go.Unfortunately up to that point none of the people coming in had been Ryder.Looking down at her watch, she bit her lip, hoping she had got the time correct.They had arranged it the day before after all, and Sarah's head was messed up with lessons and Prefecting duties.

She needn't have worried, though, as once more she looked up and this time saw the handsome face of her boyfriend...waving at her.Giving a little wave back, she scooted over in her seat as she saw he was aiming to sit next to her. "Hey there.Thought you were never coming!" she teased, poking her tongue out at him as he sat down.Squeezing his hand gently, she slid the menu towards him so he could see. "Well there are a few things that sound nice.I was thinking about maybe having, hmmm, shepards pie.What about you?"

"I'm thinking I just want a BLT," he told her. He quickly scanned the menu for something to drink before adding, "and a butterbeer as well."

Seeing as it was lunch time Ryder turned to his girlfriend and asked, "How has your day been going so far? Nothing to bad happen?" He didn't see her as much now as he would like to, what with her prefect duties, but he understood, and that was why they came to Hogsmeade for lunch today.

"I might have a pumpkin juice with mine..." Sarah mused, leaning towards Ryder slightly, to rest on his shoulder and get a better look at the drinks list.She was hungry and tired.

With their lunch choices now sorted, Sarah wrapped her arms through Ryder's as he spoke to her.Shaking her head, she shrugged too. "No, nothing bad," she smiled, putting her head near his. "Just tiring having to keep an eye on other people as well as do classes and homework.I'm sure I'll cope, though," she giggled, pushing the menu across the table and looking up for a waitress. "How about you?" she asked, turning her attention back towards him. "Did the tryouts go ok, you think? Did Miranda go alright in her first Captain's role?"

"What?" she said, placing her hand behind her ear and tilting her head to the side towards Rex as if she would hear him better. "I'm sorry, I don't speak Gryffindork." Smirking, Evelyn crossed her arms and gave him a pointed look, then turned her gaze over to Kay before turning back to Rex.

"That's all great you want to be friends and everything, buuut..." Shaking her head, she glanced at Kay. "I just don't think that's going to happen. You're first impression did not go over to well, and first impressions mean everything to me. So why don't you and your Huffie girlfriend waltz back over to your own table before I get angry with you being so close at the moment, and you won't be able to even crawl back." Hopefully he got that warning and at least make the smart decision here...

"Oh! You know what, I think I like Slick better than Spunky. It just rolls off the tongue so easily, not that I'm lazy or anything- because I'm not!" Becca grinned at Enid, shaking her head, "Oh Merlin! What am I going to do with you?" She laughed once more, before straightening up saying, "Oh, well you should probably see somebody about that. I hear it's really unhealthy to intentionally fling yourself backwards off of chairs." Becca nodded, "Mhm. Yes, very serious indeed. Watch yourself now, don't want to do it again." She added as Enid got up and repositioned herself. They must've looked so strange, so maniacle! But Becca didn't care. She was having fun, and that was all she cared about.

Listening to Rex talk to Evelyn was pain stacking. She knew that Evelyn wouldn't be nice about it. "Rex, really you don't want to do this." Kay said softly. But she listened to Rex apologize and ask her to not to pick on Evelyn. "I will...." But Kay was cut of by Evelyn talking.


Kay was getting madder by the minute. How could some one be so mean. Rex was trying to be nice and say he was sorry. Evelyn just had to be mean it's in her blood. Kay couldn't take it any more and was lossing hold of her anger. "Look you ungreatful, git. Rex is only trying to be nice and be a gentleman. He didn't want to hurt your feeling and said he was sorry." Kay said finely going off. "So, don't you ever talk to him that way again. I know you think everyone is afraid of you but I not." Kay said stairing Evelyn in the eyes. "I wanted to put an end to all of this but Some of us have to grow up first." Kay said almost in a whisper. She was so mad that she feared that she would loss control of her magic. That wouldn't be good in this place. The common room would be nothing to blowing up the three broomsticks. "Why do you have to be like this?"kay said through her teeth.

Finally coming back with their food, Destiny paused when she saw the commotion going on at their table. Of course it had to be Rex and Kay. And now Kay was getting extremely loud at Evelyn. That girl will just never learn.

Pushing past Kay, and purposely accidentally elbowing her, Destiny sat down. 'Looks like the git got his memory back.' she told Evelyn not caring that the git was standing so close. Then looking up at Kay and Rex, she put on a polite smile, 'Why don't you two go back to your table, so I can eat without getting sick.'

Keeley walked into the Three Broomsticks, sitting down at a table by the window. She was basking in the glory of the Hogesmeade weekend, and although she had no money, she was still enjoying herself immensley. She pulled out her sketchpad and started drawing the square, craving a butterbeer.

Bella walked into the three broom sticks wile reading. After finishing her page she then had put her raven sparkly blue bookmark into the page. Looking around the place she had got thirsty.
“Oh, I wonder if they still have butter beer,” she thought to herself. She had only had butter beer one other time, in this same place. She than began to wonder how much a butter beer was.
She than began to search for a good seat when she thought she might have seen someone she knew.
“Is that Keeley?” she asked herself seeing a girl who was drawing. She could never truly know if it was Keeley since Keeley was always changing her appearance.
“Keeley, is that you?” she asked the girl with the sketch pad. It had to be Keeley. But if it wasn’t, boy that person must think she’s crazy.

Finally! Words that came out of Kay's mouth that she could actually agree with! About to smile at the Huffie, her smile suddenly turned to a frown, then to a scowl, and finally ended up as a signature smirk that she seemed to be doing a lot nowadays. Wow, when Kay got upset, her mouth really did run on didn't it? Too bad Destiny wasn't here to witness this. Where was her Slytherin friend anyway?

Grow up? Snickering, she shook her head and took a step closer to the Hufflepuff until they were inches apart. Without moving her intense gaze from Kay's eyes, she smiled before speaking in a soft whisper, almost tauntingly. "You better start growing up then Kay. You're going to need it." With another smirk, she laughed and turned back to her table debating whether or not to see how far she could push Kay.

"Why do I have to be like this?" she repeated, turning around to face the two of them again. That was...actually a really good question. She didn't know herself why she acted like this, but she had a theory on it. And it had to do with that stupid voice disappearing in her mind. But there was also another reason... "Because I can..."

Aw there was her best Slytherin friend! The most brilliant person in the world apart from herself and Josh that is, elbowing Kay when moving past her. It was just...a work of art really. Smiling at her friend, she nodded and leaned against the table. The Gryffindork did get his memory back. She almost forgot that he was stupid enough to not look at his surroundings and being knocked out by the willow tree.

Hmm, now the part where Kay and Rex leaves depended on each person. Rex would more than likely leave them alone, but Kay was a whole different story. She could just see the anger being built up in the girl, and Evelyn had to admit, it was thoroughly amusing to watch.

Keeley looked up, pushing her signature black fedora hat out of her eyes. Seeing her friend Bella, she smiled and motioned for the girl to sit down beside her. "Hey! What's up?"

“The lights, the ceiling, the sky,” said Bella answering the question. “Do you remember where the menu is” she asked Keeley taking a seat.
“I want a butter beer or some Pumpkin juice,” she said. “What do you want?”” she asked.

Cadence and Lanie wandered into the Three Broomsticks. Cadence was so excited to have time to spend with Melanie; they had both been soooooo busy. Now, they would finally get the chance to catch up. She was completely oblivious to the fact that there were so many people in here she knew, including her boyfriend, so she found a small little table for two and took her coat of, placing it over the back of her chair, and sat down. "Lanie! I'm so glad we get to spend some time together. I've missed you!!!"

Georgie fiddled with a napkin that was on the table. She was kind of worried to look up at him, but if he was watching her she'd look weird by avoiding eye contact. She looked up, oh, he was avoiding eye contact too.

Georgie chuckled and nodded her head, "I think your right. He's such a sweet guy though." then his words clicked, he knew when people would do well together? But, did that mean that Barry knew what Rex was trying to do? It was sort of obvious wasn't it? She looked back down at her napkin.

Georgiana looked back up at him, "Really? She is pretty cool." she smiled, now she just had to wait for Jimmy and Lih to actually start dating. Gits.

Ahh, yes. Keeley should really stop asking that question, as the smart-aleck answers tended to annoy her. She brushed back her Audrey Hepburn styled hair and frowned. "Well, I don't have any money. But butterbeers are good." she said, hoping Bella wouldn't give her he 9 sickles. She hated taking money from people.

Melanie ambled after Cadence, shoving her way through the crowd of people gathered in the room. She didn't mind though. Melanie liked the Three Broomsticks, and it certainly wasn't just because it was named after broomsticks... Or at least, that wasn't her only reason. Hello, they had butterbeer!

She teetered for a moment, looking at the menu, before plonking down into the seat across form Cadence, shooting her a little half smile as she did so. "Me too. I know what you mean." she supplied half halfheartedly, nodding slightly. Hogwarts kept a person busy. There was just some many things to do... if you knew where to look. If you gave her a guess, Melanie could probably have told you what Cadence had been up to. SILLY BOYS. The friend stealers! That's why Melanie didn't ask her that question. She probably wouldn't bring up the topic of boys... unless Cadence did first.

Instead, Melanie, continuing to grin in a manner that was almost childish, leaned forward a little bit so she could hear her and asked her quite cheerfully: "Sup'?"

That gave her a pretty broad topic range. Sides' she didn't have anything more exciting to say.

"Ok yes, two butterbeers it'll be," said Bella wile getting out her money. "My treat." Bella then looked at Keeley's face.
"Now Keeley, don't feel bad, your practically part of the family now," she said.
"Yes, butterbeer will make her feel better," she thought knowing how warm it made you feel. "I wonder if it has any sugar?"

Sapphyre entered the Three Broomsticks, looking around for anyone she knew. Not spotting anyone, she grabbed a table. Perhaps someone would appear after her, and they could sit together. Being a first year, she didn't want to interrupt any of the conversations that were being held between upper classmen...

Ahh, more people to meet. Lucy looked up as Tyler intorduced another one of his friends. She smiled at him as Ty played with her hair. "Hi there."
When he said most of the candy was her's Lucy tried to look innocent, but she didn't know if it worked. "Uhh, yeah not MOST. But a lot of it is mine," She mumbled. And he was still against Butterbeer. Lucy thrust her butterbeer towards him and said, "Take a sip," she said.

"Ooh, yeah, a BIG sweet tooth!" Lucy said with a giggle. Her mother was getting desperate to rid her of the obsession. "It IS a huge issue! he HAS to like it," She said with a glare in Ty's direction.
And then she nodded with Isabella and turned to Ty as well. "Yes, please inform us of these reasons," She said with a grin.

Anza wandered into The Three Broomsticks, her Siamese kneazle riding her shoulder, and her fingermarking the page of the book she toted. She sat the bar and folded her legs under her skirt, tucking into her book... but the silene grew heavy,and she looked up. There was a girlwho looked as lonely as she felt, and so she offeredup a smile.

Feeling the elbow hit she closed her eyes to the pain. Destiny had hit her arm where the bat had hit her in Quidditch practice. Kat turned to Destiny. "Stay out of it pie girl." She said wickly. "keep eating Evelyn already thinks your fat."

"I think you enjoy hurting other people. Its your high. If their wasn't someone to hurt you wouldn't be happy." Kay said as she started to turn. "Oh, don't call Rex a Gryffindork. It's not nice, and I don't like it." Kay said in a low voice. "Everlyn you wouldn't like it if I loss control of my magic. If you don't believe me, ask Marie. Now leave us alone." Kay turn and looked at Rex. She knew he's be mad but this was her fight and she was one day going to end it.

What the...Destiny? Fat? Now that was a laughable thought. Heck, the girl could eat a centaur and stay as skinny as before. Chuckling, she did find the pie girl comment a little funny. Maybe she should start calling Destiny that too. The Slytherin did love pie. A funny and amusing nick name.

Would she be happy if she was hurting people? She didn't know. Technically, she wasn't happy now. Sure she may look it, but she definitely wasn't. Evelyn had long forgotten what happiness felt like. And really? As if she would stop calling Rex, Gryffindork, because the Hufflepuff didn't like it. Yea, right.

"Whatever you say..." her words were cut off though when Kay spoke of losing control of magic. That caught her attention and the first thing she thought of was the day in the dueling arena with Josh. Yes, she knew the feeling of losing control quite well, but she doubted Kay's little control problems was anywhere near as bad as herself. Or the fact that Kay didn't need to fight hers every day of her life, probably until the day she dies. "Need I remind you, you two were the ones that came over here. So I'd appreciate it, if you left like you should've five minutes ago." she forced out, her hands starting to ball up into fists. Really, they should go. NOW.
