Drew shrugged at Annie's question. "I think I will just get a butterbeer as well." Actually he wasn't hungry at allll, considering he had butterflies in his stomach that were just making him not want much of anything. "Alright then sooot two butterbeers." He said digging around in his pocket for some money.

Nicoletta laughed. "Thanks." she didn't say anything to Tex about his question, but she knew a few... She smiled as Rex and Kay danced around the table. Awwww!

Torin was sitting at a table trying to read a book on cars, but it was way too hard ot concentrate in here. Maybe he should have gone to Madame Puddifoots... Then he would have been able to get some cheesecake. Though it was a rather girly place. The date that he had had there with Brody recently was nice there. Maybe he would take her there again. He had no idea.

Brant peeked his head in the Three Broomsticks and he looked around scanning for someone he knew. He then spotted Torin who was reading a muggle looking book. Making his way over there he stepped on a girls foot while saying his "Excuse Me's" he turned and sat down right infront of him. Brant punched him on the shoulder and said "Oi, Hows it going?. What are you reading Mate?" he asked while eye'ing the book.

HE looked up and smiled as he heard Brant come up to him. He was sorta glad in a way that someone had interrupted him because he couldn't really focus on his book anyway.

This is a book about cars." He turned so that Brant could see the front cover. Torin read a lot of books about Quidditch and cars. That and baking. Though he did read novels too. That and he was still reading Shakespeare plays.

A smile grew across Brant's face, "Car's eh, I didn't know you liked cars. Thats awesome I guess. I like reading books about carpentry, Or that's how I think its called?" he said laughing.

"So whats up wheres your lady today?" Brant has noticed Torin around with his girlfriend alot and it was very werid to see the two seperated.

"So are you a first year?" Rex asked Nicoletta. " I would like to dance with you" Rex told Nicoletta. " Take a piece of your cake" rex said to Nicoletta.

"I got that boom boom POW."

Reese ended that song when she came to the door of the Three Broomsticks because 1) she didn't know the rest of the song and 2) that song was catchy, but she got tired of singing it really quickly. She fixed her hair a little bit before opening the door of the pub and stepping inside the crowded place. Her facial expression went from happy to nonhappy when she noticed the amount of people in the Three Broomsticks. GAH, this place was always crowded!

She shook her head before heading towards the counter, but she stopped walking when she spotted Torin and...what was that guy's name? She vaguely remembered seeing him in Diagon Alley during the summer, but a name wasn't coming to her head. Ah, well. She was about to find out his name in a little bit. With a turn of her heels, she headed in the direction of the Hufflepuff Prefect and Gryffindor Quidditch Captain.

As soon as she came up to her friend, she smacked her hands against the table top. "I got to ask you something Torin," she said as she looked towards the Gryffindor. "I'm sorry for interrupting. This will only take a moment, I promise." She gave the boy a little smile before turning back to the Hufflepuff Prefect. "Tell me if Jack would like my singing," she addressed him. This wasn't her all time best singing of the year since she was HORRRRRIBLE at rapping. She also knew Torin wasn't going to like this, but she was bound to get a few laughs from his expression afterwards.

"Ayyyy. Soulja Boy, chillin' dog. I just got my report card. Looked at it all F's. Took It to tha teacher desk," she sang in her manly rap voice. Hehe. She striked a little pose at the end of the 2 second song, then asked, "Was it goooood?"

He nodded at Brant. "I love cars. I'm practically a muggle." He was so gonna get an orange convertible as soon as he could. Then he wouldn't have to ride in that gross pink one that Tammy owned. And she wouldn't laugh at him and Shana wouldn't laugh at him either. "Yeah, carpentry. I didn't know you were into that." Interesting.

He sighed. "I dunno where she is. I haven't seen her in a bit." He missed Brody. But why was everyone asking him where she was all of a sudden? Maybe everyone saw them together or something. He had no idea. He normally didn't think about that anyway.

But that didn't matter as suddenly Reese has joined them.

"Hey, Reese," he said with a smile. It was good to see her and have her not want to kill him. Very good. Too bad it didn't happen very often.

"Reese, promise me something right here and now. Never rap again as long as you live. And more than that.. Never rap around me."

He was going to have nightmares tonight for sure.

"Yeah I love working with my hands and its cool how they make things with out magic eh." he said to Torin while the Slytherin Prefect Reese showed up and all of a sudden started to Rap.

It was nothing like Brant has ever heard before. "Aahahah, erm Please if you want me to go deaf then continue signing but ahahah" Brant couldn't help but laugh at her he couldn't even finish his sentence to her.

"So why are you erm "Trying" to Rap for?." Brant asked her. He looked over to Torin and smiled even more. "Ha, things are always fun when Im with you Torin" while slapping his leg.

Reese straightened her posture and just stared at Torin. AHEM. He was suppose to lie to her and say she did a wonderful job, but then again, did she expect that out of Torin Kristopher Kane? Eh, not really. She tapped her boot against the ground 3 times before heading over to Torin and taking a seat right next to him.

"You didn't like it, did you?" She pouted a little bit, but her pout faded when Torin mentioned NEVER singing in front of him, again. This boy was a party pooper! "I can't make promises that I can't keep," she pointed out with a nod of her head. It was true! Her mommy always told her that and her mommy was always right! At least most of the time she was.

Her attention was drawn away from Torin and she was now looking at the Quidditch Captain. Hmm, it was still weird to see someone besides Jack not wearing the Quidditch badge. "Well, Mr. Quidditch Captain, I'm learning how to rap so I can impress Jack with my awesome skills," she answered with a grin. "But APPARENTLY that won't be happening anytime soon."

He smiled at Brant. "Me too. I love baking. I'm gonna do that when I Graduate." And Delanie was gonna help him out because she was his awesome best friend and he loved her.

He watched as Reese went to sit beside him. "Reese, you can't rap. Face it." He shook his head and went into gangsta mode.

"It's supposed to be: Ayyyy. Soulja Boy, chillin' dog. I just got my report card. Looked at it all F's. Took It to tha teacher desk."

He totally was great at this rapping stuff. He was a good singer and he knew Muggle music well.

Brant laughed as Reese said she was going to Rap for Jack. "Erm, Im sure hes going to think its very entertaining. Reese, and Its Brant by the way" he added. He doesn't want everyone to call him mr.Quidditch Captain.

"So why are you going to Rap for Jack anyways Reese?" he was curious?. He looked at Torin who seemed to be really amused by this situation they were in. "Maybe you should give her lessons Torin" he said while laughed again.

Kay turned with Rex and smiled. She loved dancing with him. "hahaha Your singing is great, But I love the way you dance with me." She hugged him close was they went around the table. Kay lean in and whispered in his ear. "I will tell you everything when we are alone, to many ears here, love." She said then put her head on his shoulder.

Kay looked at Nicoletta and winked. Whispering so only she could hear. "Tea time." She continued to dance with Rex. Kay knew she would understand and meet her in the kitchen.

Kay let Rex move off to dance with Nicoletta and sat in her chair. Cake? That sounded good. 'ummm maybe get a small piece very small' she thought.

Was Drew taking money out of his pocket?

Annie shook his head. "I will pay mine, you will pay yours..." And this is what made her have a lot of problems with guys, her girl pride that made her totally disagree of guys paying for what she ate, drank, or chose randomly. "Please..." Really, this was the only thing she left out to say everytime her pride over-rode the circumstances.

And over all. It was almost Christmas, so...

"I picked out this, for you..." She took a small box, in which inside held a scarf, red and gold were its colours, like Gryffindor's.

Ohhhh so was Annie like one of those girls who had the pride thing and didn't like guys paying for her??? Drew was not going to fight this. "Ummm yeah sounds good." He nodded understandingly. Well why would he fight it??? It was her wishes after all.

Awww she had gotten him something for Christmas. Uhhh-ohh he wasn't quite sure that they were going to do this....

"Annie you didn't have to get me anything." He protested taking the small box from her. Opening it he found the red and gold scarf. Gryffindor colors. "Annie this is really great thank you." He said smiling wide to her as he hugged her quickly before pulling back.

"I'm going to be honest I didn't think we were doing gifts and stuff. Soo I didn't really get you anything...." He said trailing off. Wait! He had an idea. "But here." He said taking off his necklace. "Take this. When you miss me over vaction at least you will have something of mine." He said handing it over to Annie.

HMPH.

Reese crossed her arms when Torin told her she couldn't rap. He was just being a meanie! She stared at the butterbeer bottles on the table until someone started the sing that same song she had just previously sang, and that person was no other than Torin 'Bloody' Kane.

Her eyes shot over to the boy sitting beside her, then she went into her Simon Cowell mode. "You have just invented a new form of torture," she commented. She paused, then added, "Good job, Torin! And you know what? You came across as a background singer for a background singer." Yes, she had just went there.

She looked towards the Quidditch Captain, who she had forgot was sitting there for a moment. "I'm sorry. I'm usually not this mean," she apologized. "I just can't let a moment like this go without insulting Torin." She stopped talking long enough to catch the boy's name and then she smiled. "Oh, yes, Brant! I'm sorry. I forgot," she said. "Why thank you! I'm glad you thought it was entertaining." She glanced back at Torin, who SHOULD have given her a complement like that!

Good question! "Jack's my boyfriend and...I don't know. I just wanted to rap for him just for the fun of it," she answered. "It's something new, ya know?" GIVE HER LESSONS? Her jaw dropped open as she looked from Brant, to Torin, back to Brant. "I should give him lessons!"

Torin smiled at Brant and then scowled at Reese. "Stop copying Simon Cowell and get your own quotes." He knew that he was amazing and she was just jealous. She couldn't rap and he could.

Maybe he should bless them with more. "I take requests if anyone wants to hear me sing more stuff."

Sigh. That was relief. Drew was one of the first boys that didn't complain. Whew!! Annie smiled wide to him, happy that he wasn't one of those guys, proud and meanie that would make her accept such things. Annie, after all, was going to make her life according to what she earned, since she was determined to make her future as a soccer player. She stretched her other hand, then held his hand. "Thanks..." A whisper came out of the corner of her lips.

Oh boys. They never expect such surprises. "It's alrighttt..." She sincerely said, smiling as Drew hugged her, then after pulling back. "You didn't...I just thought about you when I saw it..." And then there it was, his special gift.

Annie smiled wide, though it looked more like her mouth was opened sooo wide, embarrassing to see, really. "But..." She took the necklace and smiled wide. "...thank you, it is the best present you could ever give me..." Tears were starting to fall from her eyes, though she quickly wiped them off and then she rushed to give him a hug.

" Thanks but you know I can't sing" Rex told Kay.
" Ok, you can tell me everything you want to tell me later" Rex whispered back to Kay while they danced. Rex hopes Nicoletta does not mind dancing with him.

Jude Harrison walked into the Three Broomsticks, leading his girlfriend Thalia Munroe by the hand. They had decided to go on their first "official" date and he was rather excited, but probably not as much as Thalia; course girls seem to like going on dates rather than boys. At least that is what Jude saw from his experience.

He lead the young girl to a quiet corner table and said, "You get yourself settled here and I'll get us a few drinks. Is there anything you'd like to eat as well?" Jude smiled gently, seeing as it felt so right to be there with Thalia.

Thalia entered the 'bar' with her boyfriend and was glad to escape the could. It was warm and had a homey feeling to it. Kids from school sat around tables laughing or in deep discussion. Some adults sat around doing the same or reading. She took a seat at the table and took her coat off, draping it on the chair.

"Okay," she nodded agreeably. "Hmm...I'm in the mood for something sweet so get me something that has sugar in it," she grinned at him. She was always one up for sugary foods.

Drew shrugged slightly though he had a wide grin of his face as Annie said thanks. "It's not a problem. I won't fight with you about something dumb like that." I would never fight with you. Drew thought looking down at her hand holding his.

As she took his necklace from him he just kept a small smile on his face. "I'm glad you like it." He said. But then oh wooow! Was that tears coming from Annie's eyes! She quickly wipped them away though Drew had seen them. Awwww! But she was soon after hugging him once more. He hugged her back. "Again I'm sorry I didn't really get you anything...." He whispered into her ear.

Kay smiled at Rex and shake her head. "Singing is just something fun to do and you sing fine. Dance with Nicoletta, have fun." Kay said still looking at the cake. "I think I may have some cake." She sat watching the cake like it was going to do a trick. "You think a small piece would be alright?" Kay asked Rex and then blow she cheeks out making her look fat. "I don't want to look like the Devilyns." she giggled.

"Well you don't need anything to eat when you've got me right here." Jude said cheekily, leaning forward to kiss the young girl gently. "But I'll go see what I can find." he added with a wink before turning on his heel and heading towards the bar to get their purchases.

After purchasing two butterbeers and two brownies, Jude walked back to their table and sat down next to Thalia. "Here you are darling." he said quietly setting down the treats in front of the girl before tucking into his own sweets.
