Cadence lowered her hand. Obviously, this girl also had a problem with the fact that Nate had broken up with Ella for her. Time to practice standing up for herself. Yes, probably. "Actually, it's Cadence. And yes, I'm Nate's girlfriend." she replied in a genuinely kind voice. She had no problem with this girl, but she needed to understand that whatever had happened with Nate and Ella, Cadence and Nate were together now and that was that. "It's nice to meet you Nikki."

Enid merely ignored Cesar as he offered to buy the group some drinks, though as she glanced in his direction while he pulled out his bag of coins, she couldn't help her eyes from widening. The boy probably had more than her parents made in a year in there! Stupid snobby rich self-centered git. With a glare, she looked away again, just as the boy then began ordering a butterbeer before asking what she would like. Enid returned her gaze to him then, green eyes narrowed and unfriendly. "A big plate of get-out-of-my-face would be lovely, thank you very much," she said before looking away again and returning to ignoring the boy.

Keeley blinked, officially out of lala land, to see Choluna giving her a weird look. Whatever. She straightened the collar on her uniform and took a swig of butterbeer. Yummy! And wait- she was over that boy?! Keeley didn't really care at all about them, but her friend had been obsessed with that particular one and it wasn't like her. Strange...

She was being dragged. Not so pleased with the fact Cadence had decided to pull her over to her boy friend, without asking her if it was okay and all first, she frowned slightly. She let herself be dragged along anyway though. She'd probably have to meet him sooner or later anyway...

And, even if she wasn't sure about the circumstances, she knew her manners. She shifted uncomfortably, from foot to foot, as Nate and Cadence kissed. However, Melanie nodded her head in polite greeting to Nate and the girl he was sitting with. "Yeah, nice to meet you too." she replied to the boy...in what some may call a monotone, as she took a seat. Then she looked over at the girl, giving her a small smile. "I'm Melanie Lockhart." she informed her, just in case she hadn't caught what Cadence had said earlier. "Fourth Year Hufflepuff."

Hooray, for meeting new people... Watching the exchange between Cadence and the Nikki she failed to notice any sort of tenseness. She was too busy thinking about other things, liiiiike, thirst for instance. She could go for a butterbeer right around now. Melanie made a mental note to keep her eyes out for the bartender so she could ask her if she came their way.

Becca nodded, laughing as well when all of a sudden a MARSHMELLOW came out of no where and hit her square between the eyes. Then, she got very serious, but real serious this time:the playful grin sliding off her face turned into a scowl and as Enid called for who did it, she glanced around the room with a menacing stare. As Enid found the culprit, who was hiding behind a newspaper, Becca sat back in her seat. Oi vey, was she in for a ride this year!

"Back to our conversation, I know you sooo are; but let's not think about that. Let's think about the good things in life like: rainbows and ponies and unicorns!" She said in a mocking prep girl's voice. Becca nodded, as Enid described most of the male populous at Hogwarts, and in general. "Exactly! Thank you!!"

Just then, Enid fell backwards once more! "You really are a handful, aren't you?" she chuckled, getting up to help Enid to her feet. "You alright? Haven't knocked too many brain cells out of your system? 'Cause that would totally put a halt to all of our plans for the future.", Becca said while holding out a hand for Enid.

"Oh Hi Choluna!" Bella said with so much suprize in her face. She hadn't known that Choluna was in the room. "Well good for you. You shant waist your time on him," said Bella thinking "You're way to young Choluna!!!!!!!"

"What did he do to you to make you so sad?" she asked wile having a sip of butterbeer. mmmmmmm it tasted so warm.......

Nikki watched as Cadence lowered her hand. She smirked slightly, holding a chuckle back. "Yeah whatever." Nikki said as the girl corrected her. She took a sip of her butterbeer. She looked down at her hand. She needed a new manicure...maybe she could get one during break... When Cadence said something, Nikki wanted to say "Yeah, I know it is." But she didn't. Nate would probably yell at her, not that it really mattered to her, but still. Messing his girlfriends name up was okay.

"I'm sure." Nikki said instead. It was the same thing right? Just slightly different, and less mean. "So..." She said as she flicked a speak of invisible lint off her shorts.

Nikki turned away from Cadence and at her friend. Oh, so she wasn't in Slytherin? But she did look familiar. Maybe she had a twin. Nikki smiled at the girl. "Nice to meet you Melanie. I'm Nikki." She said before taking a sip of her butterbeer. She would have to buy another one. This one was already half drained. Two more sips and she'd be done. But she still needed to do some shopping...oh well, her dad would send more money next week.

"Umm, the girls will have butterbeers I guess, and how about you bring us some Hot chocolate incase they don't like that. Also lets have some grilled cheese and um anything else you recommend. If the girls ever ask for anything just charge it to me. Also what type of money do you accept?" Said Cesar to the waiter as she continued to wait there patiently. He then turned back to the girls and said. "So Valentines Day is coming up. What are your plans?"

Cadence turned to Nate and smiled. "Well, I just wanted to come over and say hello and introduce Lanie and meet your friend... Nikki, right?" she asked, turning back to the girl. It was pretty obvious the Lanie was a little miffed, and so was Nikki. "But, Lanie and I actually have a lot of catch up to do." She leaned down and whispered in Melanie's ear so no one else could hear, "We can go, if you want, this girl obviously doesn't want me here anyways..."

Nikki rolled her eyes when Cadence asked if Nikki was her name.

Duh! I just sad it was! Your boyfriend just said it was! Get it through your head!

"Duh." She said taking a sip of her butterbeer. One more sip. She watched from the corner of her eye as Cadence whispered something to Melanie. She rolled her eyes. She had heard only a portion. Hello! That 'this girl' has a name. But Nikki didn't say anything.

"Sure, you can draw anything you want, it is cool and you only need to show it to Kay, mam" Rex said to Bella.

"Well, we accept you into "The Magical Understudies" of "The Magical Five" Rex told Keeley. " Oh, you mean you are going to do the sketches that we discussed" Rex said to Keely. Rex started laughing.

" Newsflash boy. Kay is cool just like me and you Slytherins are not, get over yourselves Evan and Marie" Rex steaming mad at those slimy slytherin losers. " If this boy tries to hurt Kay, he wiull face a bigger wrath than "The Wrath of Khan" Marie will get it form Kay. " I lived in The United States of America and we live in a free country so I also figure HogWarts is a free country to eat where we want, etc" Rex gave an explanation to this pathetic little wimp." Kay and I are not afraid of you, Evan. Destiny or Evelyn" Rex told Marie. " So you get help with Muggle Studies, see you have to cheat to beat me in homework" Rex told Marie.

"I'll survive," Enid said with an amused smile, though by now she was already back on her seat, leaning back on it and resting her feet on the table as before. "Rainbows and ponies, you say? Sounds like a good topic to me!" she said with a nod, giving Cesar a malicious look. Maybe if she and Becca engaged in some ridiculously cheesy girly conversation Cissy would be so disturbed he'd finally leave them alone.

Melanie grinned right back at her. "Cool name..." she trailed off thoughtfully, peering at the girl curiously. She was pretty sure she'd seen her around. A look of concentration clouded over her features for a moment, and then, she looked straight at the girl, trying to appear mysterious, like a seer. She was only messing around, though. Obviously. "You're a Slytherin, right?" Melanie predicted after a moment, looking at her hopefully.

And then after another second she changed her mind. "Or maybe Gryfindor." Melanie added, nodding her head in a knowing sort of way.

Oh yeah. Was she good or what?

Yeah, they did have some catching up to do...but Melanie sorta wanted a butterbeer. Melanie really wanted a butterbeer.

She blinked over at Cadence as she leaned over, wondering what she was doing. And then she started whispering. OH. Secrets. Yay!

Or...maybe not yay. Melanie stared at Cadence for a moment, as she pulled away, trying to figure out what she was talking about, because Nikki was clearly a little ray of sunshine... Right?

After a second, of looking from one girl to the other, she got it. Was Nikki one of the people that didn't like Cadence, for one reason or another, then? It seemed that way. If Cadence wasn't comfortable...

Pout. They probably should go. "We can go now if you wanna." she replied, quietly, giving her the choice. "But, if we do, you owe me a butterbeer." Melanie added quickly, trying to sound cheerful, like... there was no tension. However, there clearly was and Melanie was seeing it now. And she didn't like it... Not one bit. It made her nervous.

Enid rolled her eyes as Cissy the-suddenly-gentleman now began to order for them. Yeah right, no matter how nice he tried to act now she'd still kick his shins the second she got the chance. As the boy then mentioned Valentine's Day, Enid gave a shrug. "Don't tell me you honestly follow those ridiculous holidays," she said, raising her eyebrows slightly at him. "Though I don't mind getting chocolates and having a chance to ruin the moment for those little first years who decide to snog for the first time that day... oh, seeing their horrified little faces makes my day." She laughed softly, maliciously. "Anyway. What are you doing, Cissy? A day out with your 28347 Slytherin girlfriends? Won't they get jealous of each other, though? Oh, they probably don't know about one another... since they're obviously blind to see anything in you."

"Why yes Enid, I am into those rediculous holidays. I think they are fun." Cesar began to rock back and forth within his chair as Enid did, however maintaining much more balance. "I Will be giving you chocolates Enid, and you too Becca, my new friend. And slytherin girlfriends? I have none. Im sorry I don't know what you mean." He came to a stop as he decided to quickly plan his Valentines day, and thinking of where to make rose, chocolates, teddy bears, and balloon arrangements for his all of 'friends.' He placed his elbow on the table and his chin on his hand. Ust then the woman returned with a portion of the things he ordered. The entire table was covered with a variety of drinks, and treats, and snacks. "I have to figure out what ill get Fendi. She's very jealous, and shed be higly upset if I didn't get her anything. Hhmm... Perhaps a large rat, and a magical heating bed." He snapped back into his mind and looked at the girls. "Did you guys want anything in particular?"

Enid merely rolled her green eyes once again as Cesar told her that he would be getting her and Becca chocolates, and that he had no idea what she was talking about when she had mentioned his 28347 Slytherin girlfriends. "Sure you don't," she muttered before her eyes widened at all the food that arrived on their table. Eh?! She hadn't even really noticed when he asked for all this stuff! But she would have none of it. She was too proud to accept his generosity; what did she look like, a charity case?

She listened as he went on to mention some Fendi girl and suggested getting her a rat. Enid snorted but was quick to put a serious face back on, not wanting to show any signs of amusement. "No, I don't want anything, and I most definitely don't want a rat. Though, of course, a restriction order against you would be a lovely Valentine's Day present. I'd accept that gladly."

Cesar laughed as Enid stated she did not want to receive a rat. He guessed she must have thought Fendi was a human. "Fendi, is my snake. I've had her since I was 3. Its her who has my heart, and her whom im giving a rat. And restraining order you mean? Im sorry I can arrage that. It not within the reach of my powers." Cesar lied blankly seeing as his father worked for the ministry. He refused to leave Enid alone. "Anyway, you will receive a girft from me. Something special. Both of you."

"A snake? Fitting," said Enid. Of course an annoying Slytherin snob like Cesar would have a snake, it went along perfectly with his personality. However, she couldn't help but admire the fact that he seemed to be nice to someone, even if that someone was just a snake. Perhaps he had a heart after all, but that would only change her views on him by 0.00001% percent. "What if I don't want a gift from you?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at him. "It would be awful to have you spend money when I'll most likely just end up giving your present away to a stray house elf or something," she added casually.

Cesar slowly became upset as Enid continued to make it seem as if Cesar has no feelings. "Enid, you know I care about you. Even though you hate my guts and it seems like I only care about me I really do care about you. I've cared about you since I first met you. Which is why I took you to the healer. So you WILL receive a gift from me. That's just what I do." He realized that what he just said sounded as though he was approaching her romantically which he wasn't. So he decided to fix his statement while simoultaneously drinkinq butterbeer and eating these wierd looking things, that were long, had cheese inside, and came with red sauce. "You're my friend. And friend only. And I don't care wether yu like me or not, because I like you." He smiled threw his chewinq and had marinera sauce on his outer area of the mouth, as well as nose, and chin. "These little things are good. I've never eaten it before."

Enid wasn't really paying Cesar much attention until he mentioned the healer. Oh… that was true. He had been the one to take her to the healer, and even waited for her even though she never returned. Suddenly, the girl began to feel a little guilty. She pulled her feet off the table and sunk into her seat the way a scolded child would. But that still didn't excuse the fact that he had just randomly kissed her earlier that day and even scribbled on her forehead hard enough to cause the girl pain. She did not appreciate those two acts at all.

"Okay fine!" she finally gave in after a few moments of silence. "You can get me whatever you want, but I'm not getting you anything!" she determined with furrowed brows. It was then that the boy commented on the food he was eating, which was now all over his face. "Honestly, what do they have where you come from?" she asked, shaking her head slightly at his childlike eating manners. She took one of the napkins from the table and leaned over a bit, proceeding to wipe the sauce off his mouth, chin, and nose as if he were a child. Which was basically what Enid saw him as - an overgrown evil little child. Kinda nice… but still mostly evil.

Cesar smiled happily as Enid agreed to accept a gift from her. "That's all I wanted Enid." He then looked at the cheese sticks he happened to be eating and examined it. Looking at what it might be. "Well to tell you the truth, I only ate cereal as a child, everything else I refused. And at Durmstrang we would eat steaks for dinner but not too much of deserts. This is my first time being introduced to such a wide variety."

He stared blankly as he saw Enid grab the napkin and move in closer. He started to flinch, and wondered what he'd done now. But as soon as she began to wipe his face clean his flinching stopped and another warm smile took over his face. He was going to say 'awh' but at the last minute decided against it. Enid most likely didn't like to hear 'awh'. "So Enid, what is it tha you'd like? Umm.. a unicorn? a house elf? a new broom? a miniture dragon? a snowy owl? Ummm.. Do you like makeup? Id buy you a makeup artist? Or maybe a seamstress?" Cesar knew not of what girls liked, especially girls like Enid.

After asking his question he stopped the waitress as she zoomed by. "Umm, do you have any of those warm, delightful, brown, sugary treats, that melt in your mouth and sends your tounge to a land of perfection and fantasy? Um I think they are called. Chip chocolates. Or coo-kee chips of chocolateyness?" The waitress looked at him as though he was speaking another language.

Once done with Cesar's face, Enid carelessly threw the napkin aside (once again, always the manners of a lady with this one) and leaned back on her seat again. She rose her light eyebrows slightly as the boy went on about what he ate at Durmstrang before then asking her what she wanted. Enid opened her mouth, but wasn't even able to get the words out as he began bombarding her with different suggestions. But it was the last couple that absolutely horrified her. Makeup?! Makeup?! The girl nearly fell over at the sound of this. The day Enid Banvard let a drop of makeup fall onto her face would be the day pigs would fly.

And before Enid could really give her choice much thought, Cesar was now ordering some cookies. She sighed and covered her face with a hand as he went on to give the world's longest description of a cookie before pulling her hand away and speaking up, "Chocolate chip cookies, Helsing, they're chocolate chip cookies," she told him. "Your descriptions are awfully detailed, you're just freaking everyone out."

"I would visit you in the hospital wing," Gold said. She pouted a bit, because she really didn't want Dylan all propped up in a hospital bed, when he could, say, play some quidditch with her.

Not that he would do that. Because he wasn't a good flyer. Or, rather, was not interested in the game.

"I..." UGH! What was wrong with this guy? Gold placed her arms on the table, rested her head on them, and looked up at him through big, bright green eyes. Did he have no feelings?

None at all?

Dylan shook his head, "I am not going back to that place. People throing up all over." He shuddered at the thought. Not that it had actually happened. But it could've done.

"I will come to every game you play in. And make a big sign saying 'Go Go Gold'. If you want me to," he smiled. He just really didn't want to play. "I would be your biggest fan."

He took hers hands in his, "I, what? Gold. There is something I have to tell you. Thing is...I...have never said it before. I don't know how to go about saying it properly." Yeah. Tell her now. When she looks sad. Way to go smart boy.
