And, the prefect was buying it. Gah! Why did she have to be a Slytherin? Why couldn't that one Huffie prefect be the one to come over? Actually, Evelyn didn't see her, and it was probably best that Leesey came over instead now that she thought about it. "Yea, okay." she muttered, still shocked over the outcome of the match. "Sorry...Jake."

Sighing, she leaned forward and rubbed her face rather roughly. Slytherin lost. That sucked. But...Hmm? Turning about when she heard her name, her eyes went wide when she was met with a rather angry Professor. WHAT?!! DETENTION!? "But...Professor Lupa..." She couldn't get a detention! That was, considered Gryffindor actions! Evelyn Flores, did not get detention, and that semi-one last year with Lawsguini didn't count.

MAGIC MOTHER OF MERLIN!!

Slytherin had lost..lost again. Destiny needed someone to blame it on and who better than REX! 'REX!!' The Gryffindork.. 'You made us looooose!'

If it weren't for him and his cheering Slytherin on, they would have totally won. HUMPH.
She folded her arms, and watched as the Gryffindor's all celebrated. Stupid Quidditch and that stupid Golden Snitch.

WHAT!? Destiny's head turned when she heard what Professor Lupa had said, and to who she said it too. Evelyn and Josh had DETENTION!? Without her!? But--aww man! At least they will get to go to the sleepover, that was good.

Destiny will bring CUPCAKES!!!!

''Let me alone, let him alone, let the boy alone'' Repeated Josh which was followed by a loud laughter when Jake whined about their presence there. And no, he was not going to let him alone till he amde up for that day...huh? Rex again...

After what the older Gryffindor said, Josh totally forgot about Jake for the moment. 'No offense but you do not know anything about quidditch' Pffttt. ''Ah sure Rex, i am surely not taking any offense but i thought was talking about Rafe who is a Keeper so he has nothing to do with the snitch, i believe, if not than all right i know nothing of Quidditch and i am only here to look for the beautiful girls''

Laughing a bit more, he cut it short once his eyes spotted Destiny giggling and chatting with another girl..hmmm...it was kinda a strange thing that they were staying seperate with Rose who was sitting beside him right now. And he was about to comment on Jake like she did, as well when the Slyherin girl prefect barged in. ''Ohhhhhhhh!'' he responded making a fake sad face. Well...actually he did not want any trouble with a prefect but he had to be all cool. Rose was there. ''I'm so so so much sorry dear Lady Prefect'' the Gryffindor boy bowed at her ''Of course i am always nice'' teheeee.

Was not this girl Stutters' sister? Meh, whatever. Then he had to deal with Jake another time and at that time he was determined to catch him alone. No protective prefect sisters or favourite professors.

Then the big thing that took all his interest from that scene had happened. GRYFFINDOR WON! YAYAYAYAYAYYAYA!

''LIONS ARE THE CHAMPION!!!!''

he yelled happily jumping around and as he did so Rafe had just appeared and Josh hugged him as well then punched his housemate's shoulder ''It is more important whatever is happening with ya mate!! You were the coolness!!'' then he jumped again happily ''Yeah, i thought so. It looks like i would be better at the pitch regarding all the mess i caused here'' bahahahhaha

Lorcan shook his head in horror. "This is the weirdest sport I've ever seen, except maybe that gobstone thing. I have no idea why they play to be honest." He dropped his voice, "They whole flying thing makes no sense to me anyway, but I know that's an unpopular opinion."

He laughed when she took a bow. "Yes, we know the truth!" He stuck out his hand to shake hers, his eyes still glued to Lexi. When Katie complimented Lexi, he grinned. "That's Lexi! I've learned how to duck, it hurts less." He chuckled. "She's great fun."

When she protested that the boy wasn't hers, Lorcan said, "I didn't mean he was yours, y'know. Just, the reason you've got to be here rather than somewhere you actually want to be." He looked at her in disbelief when she said the boy was called Legend. "Legend? He's called Legend? Blimey, I thought Lorcan Cathair was bad."

When he looked back at the game, he realised it was over, although the deafening noise should have told him that. "They won!" Before her could say anything else there was a flash of blonde hair.

Marie couldn't believe it, Slytherin had lost the game to Gryffindor. How could this be? They had been playing so good. Looking back over at Destin she said "Well this day is ruined now, I can't believe the Gryffindorks won."

Not feeling very happy now all she really wanted to do was go find Evan. If anyone could cheer her up it would be him. Then she remembered, Rex was gong to tell her why he was cheering for Slytherin.

"Hey Rex, you wanna talk now or do you need to go talk to Kay first?" Maybe he better go talk to Kay and she would try to find Evan. She hadn't seen him around in a couple of days and she really missed him right now.

Okay, what now?! He looked around when he heard his name being pronounced again but in a rather formal way this time and with no surprise that was a professor's voice, Professor Lupa who seemed so angry and wha- DETENTION! No, not again!

Detention again! Gaaah! Josh shot Evelyn a guilty look, since it was him who found Jake and started to mess with him again and approached Lupa slowly ''But professor...i can explain''

Rafe noticed that Josh was talking to an older boy and somehow his name got in the mix. How in the bloody 'ell did that happen? He'd ask questions in a minute...

"Oh, come on now...mess?" Rafe was seeing black spots, "You were brilliant last year! And you didn't get your head hit my a quaffle either!" he said with a laugh as he rubbed the back of his head. It looked like all the red and gold was swirling...creating an orange color. Rafe just took a moment and closed his eyes and shook his head. "Ah...better...Anyways, wait a sec..." Rafe began to sniff the air..."do you smell that?" He put his hand on Josh's shoulder..."I think that smells like the Quidditch Cup Victory this year!" He began to laugh, but ceased when the pain was too much. They were so close to winning last year, hopefully they'd get a chance this year, they were only getting better as they got older.

"So, back to what you were saying earlier? Mess...was it something to do with that guy with the weird accent? I thought I heard my name in the mix." Rafe couldn't help but be curious.

Mina smiled as she returned Carter's hug. Leo was grinning proudly as well, giving Carter a wink. "You were amazing. As always," she teased a little. "Yeah, maybe we are a bit distracting, but maybe you were right before. Ella and I, just might be lucky charms." She did like the sound of that. "You know I wouldn't have missed this for the world. I just expect the two of you here next weekend for our match. I'm not sure if I'm suiting up, but I want to see both of you here either way." she smiled with a hand on her hip.

Glancing around, her face fell a little. Where did Rex go? She needed to talk to him and every time she wanted to, he would turn up missing. Mentally noting she needed to seek him out later, she turned back to her besties.

"Have. I. Made. Myself. Clear?" She said not looking to the girl. Her voice was calm, but firm, and if the girl tried to challenge her, she would know not like her response.

"And you shall... IN detention." She said to the boy... not missing the attitude he was giving her prefect.

Errrr... Best to run now.

Having been sitting and trying to ignore the discussion behind him, Jake chewed on his thumbnail and sat in silence. When he heard Lupa get kinda mad, Jake realised it was time to go. Without another word, he got up and sprinted down and out of the stands, away.

He needed to find a place to hide, after all.

Alexa blushed and stepped back as well as she cast a glance around the stands. Gah! PDA's around her team mates and housemates... *Blushing*.

"Thanks, Lorcan! Oh you are here to cheer on Legend, eh. Well good show you two! I heard you screaming Lorcan, seems you got into the match then eh." she said to them before turning her attention to the girl. "Yeah, hey I am Aleax, it is nice to meet you. I am so sorry to run off on you guys, but I have to get to the common room. I will catch up with you later, Nems." she said to them as she turned and darted off through the stands.

Tate stood from the spot he'd been seated, up in the top of the bleachers. Very good game... close, but his team had pulled through in the end. Excellently played.

He clapped for the departing players a moment longer before cupping his hands to call to those students still remaining.

"Attention students... just a reminder that tonight, we will be having a sleepover in the Great Hall. Please enjoy your afternoon, and head downstairs in your pajamas after dinner. We'll see you there."

Gah! Why did it have to be Lupa the one to give the detention? Her Head of House. The one she gave CUPCAKES too. Why couldn't it be Lawson or somebody, because than she wouldn't have the horrible feeling of guilt and nerves hanging in her stomach. "Yes...Professor." she said, hanging her head slightly and crossing her arms. Turning her head when she caught something out of the corner of her eye, she watched Mr. Stutters Jake run away. And run he should...

Now, Slytherin lost the match AND she had a detention. And she completely forgot about the story thing that night. Well, at least she got to go...Maybe there will be another basilisk in the story.

Lorcan must be a muggleborn student, Katie was beginning to think. It sounded that way at least, since kids with wizarding parents usually didn't question the whole flying on broomsticks thing. He was an interesting one, for sure. She shrugged, "Everyone will have their own opinions on everything, it doesn't mean they're right or wrong either. I suppose, wizards could say the same thing about muggle extreme sports like.. mountain boarding; it's just the way you think of it, and what your familiar with." Katie said, thoughtfully. She had very strong opinions herself, and was quicker to defend that of muggle relation than wizard because of her own father even though she was not raised to be so defensive and often had no reason to be. It was just the way she was. "They probably share the same amount of risk, though. If you think about it."

Now, the fairly small Third year was pleased she had decide to come down and support Legend's.. stupidness. She had sat beside the right person, and got to know more of a fellow Hufflepuff. "Good thing someone does!" She grinned, shaking his hand. At his comment Katie couldn't help but laugh. Alexa was certainly someone she wanted to meet, she could see them getting along great. Alexa must keep people in line, like Lorcan at one point - though he made it seem like he might have learned his lesson already, - and she did the same with her boys. Legend and Cy and Mat in particular.. or she tried. "Smart. I like her already," Ooh yes.

If Katie blushed a lot like Savannah did, she would be now for how silly she made herself sound. But she didn't blush and shook her head, saying "No, no. I.. know, just. It's complicated." Because saying someone had to claim him and it better not be anyone but her sounded very strange; no one would understand. She sighed in defeat, "Yeah. He's the reason why, but he'll try saying I didn't need to be here. He's wrong, of course." He ALWAYS was.

Katie supressed a laugh, turning to look at Lorcan properly as she stood and the game ended. She should tell him it was a nickname, but the Gryffindor boy would already find a reason to be upset with her and they had many issues with her using his real name. No need to start that back up. "Yes, Legend. He thinks it's cool, and I don't see anything wrong with Lorcan. It's unique, unique is good."

Carter smiled happily. "Of course I'll be here. I wouldn't dream of anything different." he said still grinning widely. "I still can't believe we won. That was so close!"

Pffft! A moment ago he was so happy that Gryffindor won but now he did not know how he should feel since he got another detention and even caused Rose to suffer a detention, as well. No, she was getting in detention, too. That was bad, bad, bad. ''Okay'' he said simply and walked back to his friends. What else could he say if she did not want him to explain now? It would surely go worse if he did say more.

Turning back to Rafe, it was apparent that he did not have that cheerful face anymore but he could manage to smile once he saw his friend's happy face. Well...he had no right to ruin their happiness over victory if he got another detention, plus it would not be just...nice. So, he decided not to mention the detention and just go with the cheerful air as much as he could manage. ''Thanks'' he responded ''Mum forbid me to play Quidditch actually'' which was embarrassing ''But i'm working on a way to make her let me play again.


He halted frozen once he said 'Wait a second' then roared with laughter at his next acts and remarks. This boy managed to make him laugh hard like that even he was not so cheerfull at all. A unique one he was. ''Absolutely. You are doing great and the lions are the destined champions. I wonder which team you will bury in the pitch the next time; Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff..hmmm'' That was a good question indeed.

And with no wonder Rafe asked for what Rex had been mumbling about ''Well...in short a Hufflepuff came over and said you were not the best keeper, i, surely, barged in and claimed the opposite. At that point he came along and said if you were you Slytherin would not have had 2 snitchs. I said you had no relation with the snitch then he said that i knew nothing of Quidditch...i said the opposite and it went like that'' Phew! That was hard.

Hmm! That Jake boy or the running Huffie blur, did not think, he hoped, that Josh had forgotten about him. Because he definitely neither did forget about him nor missed his sight running out the place. Since he was suffering more and more detentions just because of him, he was going to suffer as well.

Mina smiled. She felt better knowing her friends would be there in the stand, whether or not she was suited up or in the stands. She hoped to be on the pitch but she wouldn't get her hopes up too much. She would just wait and see what happened.

"Both teams played great. I was seriously on my feet most of the game." she said as she played with her camera's strap. "Thought I was going to have a heartache near the end. But when I saw Jack with the snitch, I knew I could breath again." It really had been an amazing match. She hoped next week's match was just as exciting for her as this one was.

Rafe was sad to hear that his mum wouldn't let Josh play quidditch, he was an excellent player and had great skill. "Well, if you're mum came to a match maybe she'd see how it's not that dangerous..." Rafe tried not to think about his throbbing head. "I wouldn't mind a rematch against Hufflepuff, but Ravenclaw was pretty tough last year too...I'm sure whichever one, it'll definitely be a fantastic match worth seeing!"

Rafe smiled at Josh. He was a good friend for standing up for Rafe, but it made him feel slightly guilty that they rarely hung out anymore. He blamed girls, and chuckled to himself at the thought. But, then that chuckle went into a grand laugh as he told his story, "Y-you're k-kidding m-m-me!" Rafe couldn't stop laughing, but slowly came out of it. "What a git!? Sorry, but seriously, didn't he not make the team! I think it's jealousy, I don't think he has any idea what it's like one you're out there." Rafe nodded. It was something only Quidditch players understood. "Anyways, party in the common room to celebrate! Spread the news! And thanks for standing up for me...I've got to set things up!" And with that he got on his broom once more and flew off towards the castle.

Legend held on to the railing so tight that his knuckles were starting to turn white, walking up the stairs slowly he clutched his other arm against his stomach. GRYFFINDOR had won! He knew! It was awesome...or it would have been awesome. If it wasn't stupid Qudditch. During the break his stomach was seriously hurting him. He guessed it was from all the flying, maybe motion sickness. Stupid flying. Stopping for a moment he looked around. Where was the Hufflepuff?"Katie?" He called out loudly. Had she REALLY not come to see him play? THAT WAS SO MEAN.

There he was. Or.. somewhere, he was. Katie heard him call her name through the other voices and noise around them. She could probably recognize his voice anywhere, even on a crowded day in Diagon Alley. It came with the many years of on and off again friendship they shared.

Hopping up onto the bench so he had some chance of spotting her, Katie cupped her hands around her mouth and replied, "Over here!" he would have to come to her.

"That's Legend," She added, looking back to Lorcan. A hand came to rest on her hip as she waited.

Lorcan frowned. "Well, so far as I know, a snowboard won't buck you off when you're fifteen feet in the air." Realising what he had said, he blushed dully and avoided her eye. Only Lexi knew about what had happened to his father and he wanted to keep it that way.

"I think we might just be in a minority though," he said, glad of something else to focus on. "Lexi's cool, but she doesn't like... well, she doesn't really like my friend Kylie. I think she's jealous." He rolled his eyes. "It silly really."

Lorcan didn't say anything. Katie reminded him of Lexi a little bit, he would put good money on the fact that Legend was always wrong.

"Lorcan means "little fierce one". My grandmother said that was what caused me to have a bad temper." He grinned. "But that's a load of rubbish."

"Bye then!" He called, "Have a good time!" He waved to her and said to Katie "That was Lexi, I mean Alexa." with a smile.

Lorcan was about to ask if that was Legend when Katie spotted him.

Lorcan grinned when he was proven right. "I thought it might be him." He waited for the older boy to join them.

Hearing the familiar Huffies voice Legend gazed around. Okay sure he was taller than Katie and a bunch of people in his yeah but that didn't mean he could see through a crowd full of people! Finally his eyes landed on her extremely curly hair. Walking over slowly he gave a small smile to the boy she was with. "Hey. I'm Legend." With a nod toward the boy.

He hadn't seen him before but there probably were a billon people in this school the blonde had never laid eyes on. "Did you see when I scored??" He asked directing his question to Katie. Had she been their the whole time? He had to find out.

Jake sat still as the seekers went after the snitch. He was suprised how short he looked compared to all those who were standing. He didn't really care about the outcome of this match. He just hoped that which ever tam won was going to be easy to beat. He really didn't want a tough team. What mattered now was the match between the Ravies and Huffies. The Gryffindor people were cheering now. Really he didn't need to stand up, to know the outcome. It was obvious from the amount of noise that gryffindor fan made. The seekers weren't the ones he needing to worry about. They would be playing one of those teams, and from the stands both teams chasers seemed really tough. Oh well, one can only hope that they falter by the time they play ravenclaw.

He got up and headed for the exit to the stands. He'll have to work harder then ever. Then it hit him. They only had one more practice, a small sqweak came out of his mouth. He Definently Is Not Ready!

"True. But accidents can happen there, too. Just not.. magical ones." She hoped anyway.

Katie could understand why Alexa might be jealous or feel a certain way toward this Kylie girl, and why Lorcan couldn't possibly begin to understand that without help. Even then, it could be hopeless. It was a girl thing, it had to be. "It might seem silly to you, but maybe she has good reason. Or maybe she thinks she does," Katie suggested, knowing fully well how she would feel if another girl their age tried getting super close to her boys. Katie was territorial, and she knew it. "Have you tried switching the roles around? Imagining it as Alexa with another guy friend? Maybe she doesn't like the idea that this Kylie girl might take up time she could be spending with you." It was funny how easy it was to say outloud now, calm and casual. But trying to put that into words if she needed to around her friends.. the boys would never get it. For Alexa's sake, she hoped Lorcan did.

Little fierce one! She couldn't see it. Well maybe a little bit, he was shouting at the players for going after Alexa. Katie raised an eyebrow, "Your grandmother sounds like an interesting lady."
Katie's smile grew just a tinsy bit as Legend reached them, she gracefully hopped down from the bench to hug him. "He knows. Legend, this is Lorcan. He was here to support Gryffindor too, or really Alexa." She caught him up, introducing him to her fellow house mate.

Rolling her dark eyes toward the sky, Katie wrapped her arms around him for a quick hug, saying "Nope, I came to watch and totally missed it. Yes I saw you score! Good job," She pulled away, taking a step back. The Hufflepuff added, "You should have made two, though." Honestly. Did he really believe she wasn't going to watch the full game? Unless something had stopped her, in which case she wouldn't have bothered coming at all. He should know that.


"Did you guys hear about the sleepover in the Great Hall?" Translation: Are you guys coming to the sleepover in the Great Hall.

"Yeah. Me too. I must have looked like an idiot just up there not doing anything watching Jack. But man. That was so amazing!" Carter said. He still couldn't believe they won. It was so close. He was worried for a few seconds.
