Waaaah!

Gryffindor had caught the snitch! Oliver made a face. Urgh.. he looked around him for something to throw at one of the Gryffie players. Nothing.. except clothes and they weren't going to do any damage and he didn't feel much like stripping off. He eyed his shoes. Hmmm.. Lori might have been onto something but.. eh.. he liked his shoes! Pout.

This was not good... but – the game wasn't over until the fat lady sung...

...or until Vindicus blew his whistle. Shrug.

"HU-HU-HU-HU-HUFFIES!" He jumped up in his seat unable to contain himself any longer. “R to the O to the D to the E to the N to the T to the S! ...ROW-DENTS! Wooooo!

He sat back down again, shifting in his seat like a small child who couldn't keep still.

Erh...

Good.

Destiny didn't miss anyone get hurt. If she did, she would have to make the person get hurt again so she could see. How she would do that, she had no idea. 'Oh..well, almost getting knocked off, and actually getting knocked off are two different things.' she said with a nod. Almost falling was nearly not as funny.

And, well, she could seriously use a good laugh.

Perhaps someone getting hurt was not the right way to laugh, but it would work for her.

'I'm not really cheering for anyone..I kinda told Carter I would be here..so I came.' She didn't tell him she would miss half the game, but she was here now. She had to cover her ears when Marie almost SCREAMED in her ear. 'I was going to ask you, but you already answered my question.'

Annnnd, Destiny was deaf.

Great.

Reese had been keeping to herself while she closely watched the game, trying to pick out Jack and Jake on the field. Her thoughts on trying to find her brother and boyfriend were broken when she heard someone call her name out. She turned her head towards Brody, and then she tried to place a little smile upon her face. "Brody Summers," she greeted the girl.

She let the Hufflepuff hug her, not even attempting to hug her back since it was kind of hard to hug someone that was sanding behind you. "I'm staying neutral," she stated. "I'm not really cheering for Jack...nor Jake. I'm just here to, you know, support them both." This is why she didn't quite enjoy Gryffindor against Hufflepuff, because she didn't want people to think she was going to choose between her brother or boyfriend, because she wasn't. "Hey Brody," she added when the girl greeted her.

The Prefect turned her attention back to the field just in time to see Jack CATCH THE SNITCH. She clapped along with the crowd, and then she turned back to Brody. "Where's Torin?" She curiously asked.

Plucking imaginary lint off his jeans, he glanced up at her as she spoke. At the same moment, an overly enthusiastic huffie slapped the back of his head...unknowingly. Great, just...great! Blake vision went smoggy and for a split second, he felt a little...woozy. He shook his head to shake off the unsteady feeling and looked back to glare at the stupid git.

He rolled his eyes and turned back to Kiri, noticing that something was perhaps...bugging her and that she was eyeballing his t-shirt. To be honest, neon-green is a very harsh color for the eyes in bright sunlight. Oh crap. He should have thought before putting it on. "All right...Kiri." He said with a soft chuckle. Her name was so fun to say. Kiiiriii. Kiri. Hehe. "Likewise." He replied but didn't offer his hand for a handshake. The hotness of the weather could cause him to sweat on her hand, ya know. Ew. "I know you know him..." He trailed off and let out a nervous chuckle. "..He's good. Yes, busy with exams. What about you? How are exams treating you? I'm NOT very pleased, to say the least." He hated exams of any sort. They plain mean and are pointless.

Brody smiled at Reese. It was really good that they got a long now, because Reese was an amazing friend. Ahh. So the girl wasn't cheering for any team. Well that was good because she didn't need to shout at her for not cheering for Hufflepuff. She slipped into the seat next to Reese, dropping her pom poms onto the floor. "Ahh. so now i dont have to change our mind." she giggled, as she grinned at Reese. Although actually she would like to change Reese's mind. Hufflepuff were the best.

Where was Torin? Well she actually had no idea what so ever. She mused for a moment before shrugging. "I dunno...he was playing in the first half though so...he might still be in the locker room."

"Sorry, didn't mean to scream in your ear," Marie said laughing when Destiny covered her ears. "Yeah, I'm here for Carter too. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have even bothered coming to watch."

Ooohhh, someone was falling off their broom and it was.....Kay.

Nudging Destiny and laughing even more she said "Look, Kay just got knocked off her broom." That was sure to cheer Destiny up.

Destiny, who was now deaf, was still covering her ears when Marie spoke. 'What!?'

And then she realized why she was deaf; her hands were covering her ears.

Duh.

It was like Carter had his own little fan club going on. All girls.. 'Well, he made me pie, so I told him I would come and cheer.' But she wasn't really cheering. She just didn't feel like it.

Kay..just got knocked off her broom!? Destiny stood from her seat to see this. It was going to be so funny! But as she stood and watched, a frown appeared on her face. That was not funny. Why wasn't it? It was Kay and she was OFF HER BROOM! But, Destiny just couldn't laugh at that.

People getting hurt was not funny..even if it did happen to be Kay.

She sat back in her seat and crossed her arms. 'Pfffft.'

Kay was knocked off her broom? Snort.

But that was no consolation for the Huffies losing. Miranda was going to be devastated. Oliver pouted a bit on her behalf as he watched what was going on on the pitch.

Guh. He's have to go find her – the huffies did an awesome job out there. She should be proud.

And then it was over. Hufflepuff had lost. Cadence let out a long sigh and then turned to Ella and smiled, "Congratulations! It was a great game! Carter was brilliant, wasn't he?"

Reese rolled her eyes when Brody mentioned NOT having to change her mind on what team she should cheer for. It was good that Brody wasn't going to change her mind, because she did NOT want to choose between Jake or Jack. It just wasn't going to happen. Ever. Never ever. Never ever everrrr. "Yes, you don't have to change my mind about what team to cheer for. I think it's best that I don't choose," she said.

"He played first half?" She questioned with a pout. Her not feeling well made her miss Torin on the field! BOOOO. Sighing, she turned back to the pitch, watching the blurs of red and yellow fly back and forth. It was only when both seekers spotted the snitch that she raised up from her seat and headed over to the railing. She tapped her finger on the railing, impatiently, as she waited to see who would catch the snitch.

And when Jack held his fist in the air, a little smile formed on her face. HE HAD WON! That made her feel a little bit better after being depressed all day. But wait, was he...crying? She couldn't quite tell from where she was on the stands, but it sure looked like he was. Shaking her head, she turned back to face Brody, who she knew would be upset about Hufflepuff losing.

"Great game, don't you think?" she said.

Kiri managed to duck away in time, but the boy - Blake was his name? - wasn't fast enough. "Watch it," she muttered in the direction of the Hufflepuff, but they were so caught up in the game that they didn't appear to notice.

She couldn't blame them. Why did she bring up exams? The match was much more interesting. She tried to spare half an ear to listen to Blake talk about Lavi and exams and, possibly, other stuff as well... Possibly, yes. "Exams are... treating me alright... I guess," she managed, following the progress on the Pitch. Several Chasers were battling for supremacy over the Quaffle.

"I'm in the middle of my OWLs, you know," she went on, "and..." A huge roar went up, and people in front of her raised their arms. "What's going on?" Kiri asked loudly, standing up and trying to see above the other students' heads. The fact that most of them appeared to be Gryffindors should have been a clue, but it wasn't until she saw the dense huddle of cheering players clad in red and gold that she figured out what had happened. "They caught the Snitch?!"

"He made you pie?" Marie laughed as she tried picturing Carter baking a pie for Destiny. She could just see it, flour all over the place.

And Destiny wasn't laughing at Kay falling off her broom. If that didn't make her laugh she didn't know what would.

Gryffindor wins!! She started jumping up and down.

WOOHOO! WAY TO GO GRYFFINDOR!

"Destiny, they did it, they beat the silly Puffylumps!" she said. She looked around for Carter but didn't see him anymore. Maybe she would be able to meet up with him later to congratulate him on a great game.

Urrghhh, he was right, even if he was joking.Her own team in the biggest game and she was late.Sarah blushed slightly at his ribbing, and poked him in the back. "I know I am, shhhhh.I was - having a nice long sleep, and when I realised the time it was too late to get here for the first half." Sighing, she replaced her scarf back around her neck and played with the tassles on it.His answer to her question made her snort with laughter, in a 'yeah rightttt' kind of way, and Sarah shook her head with a grin when he winked at her.Silly question to begin with, really. "Make sure it stays that way," she giggled, raising her eyebrows at him.

She was just about to respond to his question when the teams came back out onto the pitch....or above it, whatever.Standing up from her seat, Sarah started waving her scarf around again and shouting at the top of her lungs. "COME ON HUFFIES!!! GO RYDER, GO MIRANDA, GO LORI, GO TEAMMMMMM!! WOOOOOO!!!!!" Clearing her throat, she glanced back down at Oliver and shrugged. "It's still a bit meh, but getting better, thanks.Still having a problem if I need to bend over for anything, but....it'll be right soon, I'm sure." She gave his shoulder a squeeze, and looked back up when the whistle went to signal the start of play.

Oh please Merlin, let them win.

Not another snitch grab for the lions?! Sarah hung her head as the players went speeding past, arms outstretched.Dammit, if only Jake her longer arms....

And then she was nearly knocked off her feet by Oliver jumping up. What the he-- ?? Stumbling slightly, she cocked her head to looked at him as he did his cheerleader routine.The rodent cheerleader routine.Typical, really, really, typical.Prodding him with her finger, she eyed him and snorted again. "You are really a very WEIRD boy, you know...and I mean that in the nicest possible way," Sarah nodded, then grinned, before going back to her own cheering. "COME ON YOU BADGERS!!" Emphasis on Badgers, of course.

But then it was all over.Everything happened so quickly.One minute they were speeding around, the next Head Boy Jack was gripping the snitch...AGAIN.Crapola. "Oh, no.And they tried so hard as well....Think we should find them when they leave.Commiserate.Hug them.Definately hug them, yes..." Sarah was mumbling, but she had been directing it towards Oliver as well.Stuffing her scarf into her pocket, she watched dejected as the players landed and shook hands.Miranda was going to be sooo upset about this.

Carter raced to the stands. His broom was still on the field right where he dropped it after he landed. He'd get it later. He was still sweaty, gross, and in his Quidditch robes when he arrived to the Gryffindor supporting section. He looked around. The first thing he saw was a Slytherin girl jumping up and down screaming 'way to go gryffindor!'

He grinned. He turned someone into a Gryffindor fan.

Keeley glanced up from her art, seeing her old friend Ella. She pushed her long, turqoise ponytail aside. Smiling widely, the little Ravenclaw said "Hi! I've been okay, I guess." Total lie. "Well, I've never been to a game. I don't get this. At all."

Marie was still jumping up and down when she noticed someone in red Quidditch robes in the stands......CARTER!

She ran over to him and gave him a huge hug. She didn't care that he was all sweaty from the game she was excited they won. He had played a great game and deserved to be congratulated.

"Congratulations, you played great today."

She continued to hug him just a little longer....maybe longer than she should have but she didn't care, it felt nice to hug him.

Carter smiled and hugged her back. "Thanks." he said. "It was a tough game. But I'm glad we won. It was Jack's last game." he said. He couldn't think of a better way for the head boy to leave than this. Gryffindor was finally the champions once again. He noticed that she continued to hug him. He couldn't deny that he liked that. So he continued to hug her. He even squeezed for a few seconds.

'Yup. It was apple pie..' Not that Destiny's favorite was apple, but it was still pie, and she never turned it down before. Well..maybe that one time her grandmother tried to make it..and it was way too burnt to eat. Yeah, she had to turn that down.

Her grandmother still ate it though..

She was still sitting with her arms folded when she spotted Carter in the stands. Annnd Marie attacked him. Like, attack of the killer hugs or something. 'Good game Carter!' she gave him a thumbs up, because that showed that it was good..or something along those lines.

Hmm..

"Oh." Evelyn seriously had been spacing out the whole time. There was something about Evan leaving, something about Kay getting hurt? hopefully that one was true, and something about Gryffindor...

She finally came back down to the real world when Marie started shouting. Eh. She was going to have trouble hearing the next few days. OH DEAR MERLIN! When did Destiny get here!? And Carter. Who WON?!

Listening in to the others around, supposedly....Gryffindor won? Really? Huh. How was she able to miss this whole match even though she attended anyhow? Cool. "Hey Destiny. And good game Carter." She said, standing up and brushing the invisible dust and dirt off of her pants.

"Good game everyone," Ella said to Cadence. THEY HAD WON!!

She saw Carter come out from the grounds from the corner of her eye, surrounded by all the other girl Slytherin friends he had made. Marie was hugging him and everything, so she decided she would congratulate him later. She didn't want to get in between his little group, even though she had been wanting to congratulate him. Sigh. Later, then.

She turned back to Keeley, the slightest bit depressed. "I'll see you later, Keels. If you want, we can head to the grounds and talk," she told her.

Marie smiled as Carter hugged her back. It felt really good standing there with him but she knew she was not the only one that wanted to congratulate him. He did seem to have a lot of fans here today. "I think there are some other girls fans here who would probably like to congratulate you too." she said to him. She then let go of him and stepped away a little.

Looking around she seen Ella who looked like she was getting ready to leave. "Hey Ella, where you going?" She did seem like someone that was pretty important to Carter so she should be with him now too. Marie didn't really get much of a chance to talk to Ella during the match but maybe later they would have a chance.

Marie looked back over at Destiny and Evelyn who were still sitting there and smiled at them. She felt sort of guilty for jumping up and leaving them there. She did want to talk to her them but she wanted to be with Carter too. Hopefully they would understand.

Carter smiled. "Thanks Evelyn. Thanks Destiny." he said happily. He was so happy he nearly hugged both of them right then. But decided against it. He was really gross right now. "Did you see Josh play? He subbed in." he said. Josh would be disappointed if Evelyn hadn't noticed him playing.

Then Marie was calling to Ella. Yay, they met. Carter looked around trying to spot his friend. There she was. "Ella!!" he exclaimed waving her over.

Evelyn smiled back slightly when she saw Marie look over to them. But it suddenly disappeared when she heard what Carter had said.

WHAT!? Josh had played?!! He...subbed in. She thought he couldn't play this year though! probably played in that second half didn't he. She totally missed it when she spaced out for the second half.

She probably looked like a deer caught in headlights at the moment, making her shake her head slightly and put a smile on her face. "Oh...yes. Of course I saw him play." she said with a nod. No she didn't. Now she felt guilty and ridiculous. "He was...great!"

Please someone tell her he was great and didn't fall off his broom or anything. Not that he was someone who normally did that...but still. Did he play good? What position did he play? Did he score any points? Gah!

Keeley glanced at the group of Slytherins that had engulfed Carter. Ugh, why were they so nice to him, but so evil to her? She looked back at Ella, and saw a look of sadness. Aww. "Okay." She replied, not really sure what else to say.

Not really knowing where else to go, she climbed out of the stands, and started to wander away to no where in particular.

Hearing her name called, Ella raised her eyebrows and turned around. Though her mood was a little off now, she still gave the others a wry wave before walking over. "I'll meet you at the grounds, Keel," Ella told her with a soft smile before walking to the others.

She recognized Marie and Evelyn, but not the other girl they were with. Ella had seen them all together countless times before. She looked up at Carter and held up her hand for a high-five. "Thank God you won, because Marie and I were kinda screaming our lungs out up here," she joked.
