The Stands Welcome to the Stands! Find a seat and sit down with your friends as you cheer for your favorite Quidditch team. Remember to follow the school rules because rule breakers will be punished. Other than that, have fun! |
With both her lucky scarf and favourite scarf tightly wrapped around her neck, Mina made her way up the stands. Glancing around, she realized she was extremely early for the match. At least, she would get a great spot for the match and she would be able to see like everything. Oh how, she did really love the game of quidditch now. Strange how it was only a year ago, when she realized how much she liked it. From a fan to a reserve in just a year. That was a long way, well it was in her mind at least. The first match of the year was always exciting and seeing her bestie out there only added to the excitement. Finding a spot up front and center, she made herself comfortable. Ella would probably be around soon and probably Cadence as well. Pulling the pom-poms from her cloak pockets, she resized them to their original size and set them beside herself. They did look rather nice. She had to pat herself on the back for the great job she did one them. Now she just needed to wait for her friends. Ella would be able to help her paint her face for the match. They were seriously going all out for the match, but that was half the fun about matches. Painted face, pom-poms and cheers. yes, they were going to have a fun time today. |
Yayyyyyyyyyz! Today was a great day for watching two teams battle it out on the pitch, and that's what Miranda was hoping to see - a big battle. Hehe. Not only was Slytherin playing against Gryffindor, but Oliver was going to be playing againt Brant. Her friend against the boy she was going out on a date with. Haha...oh. Blush, blush, blush. BUT ANYWHOOOOOOO... So with a little huff and puffing, the Hufflepuff Captain made her way up the stands and took a seat at the first row in the middle. This was going to be a great match indeed! And Miranda couldn't wait for it to start. "GOOOO TEAMS GOOOOOOEEEEE! WooooooT!" |
Jake had been wandering the castle, hoping for something to do. Then it hit him, how did he forget. sprinting towards the stands he Wondered how it had slipped his mind. How could quidditch slip his mind, it was unthinkable. He took a seat and looked around, there was barely anyone there. It hasn't started yet. Or maybe it was over and he didn't know it. 'No' he told himself, as he looked down at the field, it wasn't over. There would have been a small trace of celebration, even if it was only the first game. Making himself comfortable in his seat, he waited for people he knew. Friends, people from his team, it really didn't matter as long as he wouldn't be bored. EEEEK A huge chill ran through his body. As he started to shake, he realized how badly dressed he was for cold weather. He'll remember at some point in his life that it wasn't always warm outside. He sat on his hands to make them warmer and he got ready to watch another game of quidditch. Maybe he should take some mental notes of the teams... no, today was a fun day, just sit back and watch the game |
Hurrah! The first Quidditch game of the season was today! And Slytherin was playing against, of course, Gryffindor. Hopefully Slytherin will be able to do better this year then last. With her usual outfit for supporting the Slytherin team, and with the edition of a new green and silver jacket that her mother had someone make for her surprisingly, she made her way in the stands and sat at the top. Looking out onto the field and towards the sky, she put her hands quickly in the warm pockets of her jacket as a chilly wind swept by. Great. It was cold... Glancing around at everyone else who was there before turning her gaze towards the entrance, she leaned against the back wall and waited. Might as well watch to see if she could spot someone she knew. Preferably either Destiny or Josh... |
Carter took to the stands typically to his 'pre-game' routine. He spotted Mina. She had a painted face and pom-poms. He went over to her. "I see you went all out for the match." |
Aaah, Quidditch. Torin was happy as he bounced down the stairs in the stands to find a seat. He was so eager for the first match of the Term, and though he was sad that he wasn't on the Team anymore, he was here and ready to give all the support that he could. |
Adrienne made her way into the stands for the Quidditch match, her bright red coat a contrast to the patterned tights she wore with her new Vivienne Westwood heels. Which, amusingly, were almost Mary Janes and part of her wished Dominic was still there to see them. But then, he would have found something else to annoy her about regarding the dress code, undoubtably, so she was glad he wasn't there anymore. The funny thing was, she wasn't exactly there to support Gryffindor, she just wanted to wear the coat on the odd chance Riley showed up and she could annoy him with not supporting Slytherin. She actually was just there to enjoy the match, and check on her competition. Since Ravenclaw would end up playing one of the teams that was playing today. Adjusting the cream-colored scarf she had wrapped securely around her neck, she worked her way to around halfway up the stands, sending a smile to Mina and Jacob as she passed them, then settling into a seat to wait for the match to start. or for any of her friends (or Phoebus, on the odd chance he appeared) to show up. |

Where was Ella? Looking around a little, she saw her own house captain and waved to Adrienne as she walked back, offering her a smile as well. Mina was excited about this first match, but was even more excited for her own house team's first match and possible her first oppotunity to play too. After scanning the stands for other friends, she looked back to Carter as she wrapped her lucky scarf a little tighter around her neck and around the other scarf already around her neck. The tiniest peek of gold and red under her own house colours. "Looking dashing as always, I see." she teased. This was one of those moments, she wished she had a camera. |
Nate climbed into the stands and sat down ready for the game. He wondered if anybody he knew was here... |

"Where is Ella? I expected her to be here already. I was hoping to catch her before I had to get down there." he said looking around. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a red and gold scarf. It must have been the one he gave to her last year. Which reminded him... "So... I'm wearing my lucky socks." he said with a chuckle. It was the socks he bought with her during the summer at the World Cup. |
Who on earth did you support when you didn't know anyone in those houses? She didnt know anyone in those houses right? Gah, her brain was so fumbled recently. She was kinda sleeping badly, couldn't have her bed drapes round at night. Maaaan, she was exhausted. But you know, gotta get on. But her footspa had came, which was totally. Good, all pink and glittery, which she was happy about. And atleast now, she knew her feet wouldn't be AS sore. Lorelai was still wrapped warm, in a yellow coat that she was probably living in right now, climbed the stairs slowly, one step at a time, more than likely sighing after each ten. You know, stair climbing was rather boring. And depressive, as to how MANY there were. As she finally reached the top, and made her way through people, she plopped herself down in a seat and sighed some more. Sighing was NOT healthy. She should have been laughing, because laughing was good. Someone had to cheer her up. |

"The games here are awesome! I was on the Team last Term too." But he hadn't made it this year because he had been too distracted by his Brody issues during the tryouts. How sad is that? Then he saw another familiar face not too far off. "ADRIENNE!" He eagerly waved at her, hoping that she would maybe come over. And if not, he would just say hi to her. |

And then she watched as he waved to another girl. Adrienne! She had talked to her on Twitter and wanted to meet her ever since. She turned and waved at the girl too, smiling, happy that they'd finally get a chance to chat in person. |

Shrugging her shoulders, she glanced around again. "Not really sure. I haven't seen her yet. But you know she'll be here. We have some cheering to do and her cheer is like so good too." she beamed. Personally, she preferred Ella's cheer to her own. But she would use her cheers as well. Smiling, she glanced down at his feet. Oh yes, the lucky socks! She liked those socks a lot and they reminded her of the fun time they had together at the World Cup. "Well, between your lucky socks and my lucky scarf, I'm sure Gryffindor will win today." |

Standing up again and smoothing the lower half of her coat out from the seated position she'd been in, she headed over. "Yknow, one of these days that excitement might end up hurting you," she said to Torin once she'd arrived at where they were seated. Then, turning to the girl, she smiled. "Hi. I'd introduce myself, but I think you probably got my name from Mr. Hyper over here," she said with a grin, before taking a seat by them. May as well get comfortable before too many more people arrived and her seat selection dwindled. |
Not one that could be described with having a lot of balance, McKensie was basically stumbling his way up to the top of the stands, and cursing a few times because of how high it was up there and of the cold air biting his cheeks, nose and ears. Since he would be rooting for none other than the violent bludger because the match would not be entertaining until someone got knocked off their broom and successfully landed on their bum in front of everyone, Ian, flushed in the face, precariously reached the top of the stands, and dumped his five feet, six inches self on an empty spot, a bit far away from the supporters of Gryffindor and Slytherin. Cue yet another low curse. He would never understand why people would ever play this sport for fun, nor whyyyy would they ever want to play while it was so cooooooold. He was certain, though, that he had it easier; at least he had worn a thick, turtle neck, navy blue sweater as well as gloves and some jeans that would hopefully keep him from getting frozen. The Quidditch players, on the other hand, would most likely end up as icicles. Or something. Go Bludger, go! Woooo. After checking his watch to see how much time he'd have to wait for the match to start, the fifth year pulled up his legs, and wrapped his lanky arms around them, resting his chin on top of his knees. Oh, yeah - curling up in a ball had the effect of making him feel a bit more warm. |

SPOILER!!: C & M Quotage Ella ran down towards the stands in high speed, equipped with her supplies and bag and pompoms and outfit. She was having an adrenaline rush, and was over her head excited.. "I'M HEREEEEEE!" Ella yelled as she arrived down to the stands. In the attempt to try and make a successful pit stop, she slammed right into both Carter and Mina and collapsed laughing. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just so excited to be here!" They were going to have so much fun. Ella needed to get her face-painted like Mina's. It was the last thing she needed. Ella and Mina both looked quite spiffy in their cheerleading outfits. In her opinion, Mina looked very nice and just like a cheerleader. Carter looked all man and ready for the game. Ella smiled widely again. It was the first game of the year, and Ella was determined Gryffindor would win. And even if they didn't, the three of them were still going to have a party. They were just cooool like that. She hunted the stands for Marilyn, because she expected her to be there for Carter. She didn't see her or Cadence, but she did catch sight of Nate. Look away, look away.. "Ready for the game? We're gonna rock this.." Ella giggled, looking from Carter to Mina. She could practically feel the wave of excitement she was giving. Ella hoped that her excitement would get them in the mood too. But they already were. She looked up at the field and knew that Carter would be flying his best, and they were going to have a blast.. |
Whit and Tara <33 Reese headed into the stands wearing her faded blue jeans as well as a black jacket. The little hoodie on the jacket was pulled over her head, so all you could see was her face and some parts of her braided piggy tails. The click-clacking of her shoes against the stand's ground warned the people around that someone with authority was coming. Bwaha. Actually, it could have been anyone, but she liked to think that people would assume it was Bunbury on her way since that woman wore heels when she had a chance to. Her shoes were red Truthfully, she was planning to stay neutral in this game. Just like how she stayed neutral when Jake versed Jack last term. Also, the Slytherin had a miniature sized poster in her jean pocket, which she would make larger when it was time for the game. Right now, it would just stay in her pocket so that she didn't have to carry it around for the next few minutes or so. "Torrrrrin," she called out when she saw her friend sitting next to Delanie. "Delanie!" She gave them both a wave and a little smile before heading over to them where she took a seat right next to the Hufflepuff Prefect. |
Quidditch! Tibi climbed up into the stands, eager to watch the first match of the season. Soon it would be his turn, and he knew that he'd end up playing one of these teams later. He decided especially to watch the seekers. Both to size them up and for tips. Truth be told, he was nervous about playing opposite Jake. The boy had taught him how to play. How could he even hope to do better? Taking a seat, wrapped in layers and layers of clothing, Tibi watched the pitch expectantly. |

"I was Beater. And I was good." Brody was pretty good too even though she hadn't made the Team. And she had a Beaters bat that he had given her, so they could play Quidditch whenever they wanted to during the summer. hehe. Then he was distracted by two new arrivals. He had expected Adrienne and ignored her comment because he knew that she loved him even if he could be a bit hyper. Because he was amazing and all his friends loved him. "Hey, Reese! So how are you guys?" Because it was rude not to ask how Reese and Adrienne were. |
