This is definitely the place to go if you're looking to get rid of some stress or knock out some of your excess energy. Go on, pull up a swing or go for a slide! Act like a monkey on the monkey bars. Or, take a seat in the sand that surrounds all the equipment and build a castle.
Just beware of a certain Herbology professors cat on the search for a new litter box. | |

It's much easier to find places to dance at Hogwarts than it is to find places to practice gymnastics." She began swinging higher again, and once she was high enough, she began twisting the swing around so it would twist and untwist as she was swinging back and forth.

Thank Merlin that subject was dropped because he was likely to get up and walk away if she kept pushing it. It was like he had been Langlocked over that particular subject and his tongue would stick to the top of his mouth every time he even thought about confiding in someone. Urrrh. It was such a taboo subject for Oliver. One he was likely to carry it to the grave.
He could stay with her? He turned his head and looked at her to make sure she wasn't teasing him. She looked serious enough, though he couldn't help snorting when she mentioned her brother's Gryffindor room. “Urrh.. Slytherin.” He said gesturing at himself. And yeah, as much as he liked the idea of being a Gryffie with their bravery and chivalry crap, he knew he was much more of a Snake. The hat wasn't all that dim. “You serious?” He asked her, raising his eyebrows. Woah! Imagine the fun they would have. “Wont your parents be a bit miffed when you show up at home with me?” His dad would be... and would make no secret of it either. Git. Slappable forehead? Oh yeah!? She was gonna show HIM slappable- She flicked his nose HARD, and then made a face when he in turn stuck his tounge out at her. Annoying little twitchy- no, not using that word - but annoying was a good one. "Gosh you're so annoying sometimes..." She shook her head and sighed.
Stay in the hospital wing during SUMMER? Miranda made another spazztic face. "Gosh I hope not. Don't think anyone will be staying with us, Healer Ashford wouldn't want to see our faces during her only free time. " Heh.
Oh. my. g................................. He SPAT on his hand. That was just... didn't he do that exact same thing in the Opening Feast?!
Looking at him, and then looking at the icky hand, she quickly slapped his hand upwards, hoping to slap him with his OWN HAND. MWAHAHAHA!
...hopefully it would work. And that her meanie self would seize soon. Heh.
She sensed him turning to look at her, but didn't let her gaze wander off from the tree that was far away...over... thre. But his obvious remark made her turn to him. "Slytherin? Really? Wow, hadn't noticed." She smirked at him, but her face smoothed out at his question. Was she serious... bah! "Ofcourse I am. "Her brow furrowed as she watched the boy.
Her parents would be cool with it. Her brother often had friends over during summers, so why wouldn't it be good now? "No." She said simply and shrugged. "I'll Owl them tonight. We can come pick you up at your house, if you want. Let you get time to grab your stuff and all that." Yush!
"Where do you live, by the way? So we don't accidentally apparate somewhere and find ourselves in a swamp. Don't..." she narrowed her eyes at Oliver and pointed her finger at him, totally imagining it would be something he could and would do to get a laugh.
"Anyways, are you sure your dad will be okay with you staying somewhere else? I could have my dad come speak to yours..."
