Kat looked up as someone spoke to her. "Oh hey Rex" She smiled at him. "Up to no good... I wish." She grinned. She had been trying to come up with a prank but no luck. "I'm not troubled... not really" She replied. "A penny for my thoughts? What does that mean?" She asked him.

Helena's smile widened to a grin as he said he'd love some company and she made her way over to sit in a swing beside him. I've been okay, she said with a smile as she noticed Drew still looking at her. Glad to be back, surprisingly, she added, remembering two days before Christmas. Speaking of which.... How was your Christmas? Lena asked him.

Drew nodded to Helena's comment. "Me too." He said. The biggest reason was Annie though he had grown quite fond of Hogwarts now. "My Christmas? It was good. It was nice to see my family again. How about you?" He asked as he kept pushing himself back and forth slightly and looked down as he did so.

Drew was glad to be back? That wasn't something you heard everyday from someone who just got here and a had a family.... was there something to that? Mine was.... dramatic, she said with a weak smile and a sigh. No family to see, but that wasn't the worst of it - Chris and I got in huge fight the day before our anniversary, she said with a groan and shake of her head.

Dramatic??? Oh wow that wasn't good. Drew looked back up at Helena as she explained why it was sooo dramatic. Waittt! Chris must be this boyfriend of hers right! Sooo they got into a fight??? Awww that's not fun. "That really stinks that you two got into a fight. But are you two still fighting or is everything okay now?" He asked raising an eyebrow curiously.

" Ok. I believe you are not doing anything sneaky or bad" Rex told Kat." You could have fooled me with that look on your face, I really thought you were troubled" Rex said to Kat. "A penny for your thoughts means, what are you thinking because someone like me or someone else knows there is something troubling you and we hope you will tell us" Rex explained to Kat. " The joke that goes with it your thoughts are worth more than a peeny" Rex said to Kat.

He was interested in her family?? Little old Nina?? Aww shucks.

"Well I'm muggleborn." she began, maybe that wasn't the thing you should tell someone immediately but oh well, she didn't mind. "We just moved to England, actually. When we found out I was a witch. That way the family could be closer during the holidays and such. They wanted me in Hogwarts, obviously. We had heard it was the best school."

"Well, I am muggleborn, too " Rex told Nina. "So you moved to England but from where?" Rex asked Nina. "Well it is great you could be closer to your family and go to Hogwarts at the same time" Rex said to Nina.
I only have a mother but I found my half-sister Victoria here who I call my sister" Rex explained to Nina. " Of course Victoria and I have different last names he told her,

Nina nodded intently.

"Oh, from America. Sorry." She apologized. She meant to tell him originally. "Aw. That's sweet. So you two get along then? How on Earth did you discover that she was your sister?" Nina had a sister. They don't get along to well. Maybe she'll mention it if it ever comes up, but she didn't want to sound self-centered and just rant about her own life for hours.

Helena sighed slightly and nodded in agreement. Yeah, everything's okay now. We... worked it out, but it was just nooooot the best start to my holiday is all, she said with a weak smile at the end. But enough of me being solemn and down-trodden - what have you been up to lately? she asked him brightly with a genuine smile.

" I am from SweetWater, Texas" Rex told Nina. "Where do you live in America?" Rex asked Nina. "We get along because our father was a jerk to Victoria's mother and did not only cheat on her mother with my mother but a few other ladies, too" Rex explained to Nina. "Well, we were at my friend's Jason's castle ,we figured we kind of looked the same and presto, new sister" Rex said to Nina. "Do you have any sisters or brothers?" Rex asked nina.

Nina blushed. Oh that was horrible! Not to mention none of her business. She shouldn't have asked, but then again he did answer without hesitation...

"Um, Maryland. Outside DC." she answered. "And yes, I have an older sister, just turned 17, she's a muggle. It's kind of a pity really... I think she was jealous seeing me go off to learn magic. But she just acted as if she didn't believe any of it. She didn't want my parents trusting me to go on a train to someplace they've never seen before. Even after all the magic we saw in Diagon Alley... But that's her choice, I won't brag about it. Not too much anyway, a little though. She's always bragged about everything to me anyways, she deserves it. And wait until I'm 17! Then I can show her all the magic I've learned! I'll help her out though. A little... if she wants... maybe..." she said the last bit pretty fast, she was very excited to do magic right in front of her sister! Why did they have wait to be 17??

Drew nodded. "Yeahhh it really is not the best way to start the holidays." He said in agreement. What had he been up to lately??? Ermmm well. He just smiled wide. "Ummm well actually before Christmas I told a girl I liked her and she likes me too." He said still smiling wide. Hooow Annie liked him back Drew wouldn't know. Though he didn't care.

"OOOOOOHHHHH" Kat laughed. "Well I was just thinking about ... stuff.... problems.... with my dad" Oh how she loathed Daniel Way. Things were better off without him. "He just keeps finding more ways to make my life more miserable." She sighed.

"Well Maryland is a nice state" Rex told Nina. "So you and your sister do not get along?" Rex asked Nina. Hopefully she will come around when she sees all the good magic you will learn at HogWarts" Rex explained to Nina." What else do you do at Hogwarts besides the swings?" Rex asked Nina.

" Problems with your dad, so sorry" Rex told Kat. Well at least you have a father that cares about you" Rex said to Kat. " My father left when mom was pregnant with me " Rex explained to Kat. " If you want to talk more about it, you tell me" he said to Kat. " I can ask my friend Jason if you could stay with him at his castle during the week-end while you are at hogWarts" Rex explained to Kat. " this way you would not have to deal with yoru father" Rex told Kat.

Nina shook her head.

"No, she think's she's better just because she's older or something..." she explained. "She's never been nice to me. She says it's because I'm annoying. I just want to be close to her. All my friends, they get along well with their older sister's, and they act no differently than I do. So, I think she's the problem."

Nina looked off in a direction just behind Rex. "Umm... Well I go to my classes, do my homework, read sometimes in the common room maybe... That's about it. Why?? What do you do around Hogwarts??"

"Thanks" She smiled at him. Care? If anything she would probably want him to care. "well at least you have a mom that cares" She said looking down. "Thanks Rex, but I usually go to my grandparents' house when I'm not at hogwarts." Whoo go grandma and grandpa Way!!!

Drew! Helena said in surprise, a wide smile appearing on her face to match the one already plastered on his at his words. That's fantastic! Who is this girl? she asked with apparent interest that she didn't have to fake; shy Drew liked someone awwww!!

Drew laughed at Helena's suprised tone. "Well her name is Anna Robles. " He said trying to say her last name right though it still was quite there. Well come on! He had a Germany accent and she was Spainish! "Orrrr something like that I can't say her last name quite right. But she's a fourth year Ravenclaw and just totally perfect." He said very fondly.

" I guess older sisters could be like that but if you are the baby in the family, she could be jealous of you" rex explained to Nina. " You might ask your friends if they got along with their sister's from when they were young" Rex said to Nina. "Well, I like to swim, swing, do my homework, play Quidditch and have a good time" Rex told Nina.

" Ok, that is good you go to yoru grandparents house" Rex told Kat. " yes, I have a mom who cares, but you have people who care about you, your grandparents" Rex said to Kat. " I just want you to know that I am heere for you when you need me" Rex explained to kat.

Helena listened to him intently, still smiling widely, with an enormous desire to go 'awwwwww!!' every time he said something new. He just sounded sooo.... in love. Awww, that sounds absolutely great, Drew! she said, her smile still widening. I say I need to meet this girl, she added with a laugh.

Drew chuckled as Helena said she had to meet this girl. "Alright alright. I will make sure you meet her." He said still smiling. Though he then thought about Annie and him more. "Hey Helena. Can I ask you question?" He asked looking back at her hoping, praying she would know what to do. Welllll she did have a boyfriend right!

Emily sat down and smiled. She was having lots of fun with Rex... he was so nice!

Georgie skipped down to the playground, she might be 15, but who did NOT love swings and slides and all that good stuff? She ADORED it! Positively adored it! She loved Hogwarts as well, it was so nice to have friends here, like Rex and Kay, Delanie and Nikki, and who could forget Barry?

Georgiana smiled to herself and reverted back to Nikki, she wondered how the date with her and Blake was going...

Tears were streaming down her face now. As soon as she walked out of the tea shop they had escaped. That's when she had started to run. She couldn't let Shana and Blake see her cry, especially not Blake. Sniff. But who cared? She hated him now. He deserved to see her upset! That way he would never spoil a date with any other girl. If he ever got a girl to go out with him.

Nikki arrived at the playground, her heels clicking together. She had taken them off while running. She walked over to the swing set, ignoring the pain coming from her feet. Those stupid woodchips were hurting her. Collapsing in an empty swing, Nikki dropped her heels and began to swing back and forth slowly. Soon new tears began to fall down her face.
