Enid was growing quite miserable with the way things were turning out. The king had turned himself into a cat and couldn't help her understand this alternate universe she had ended up on, the people at the lake thought her a complete weirdo for drinking the water from the lake, and there were no royal horses to take her for a ride around the castle grounds or the small town of Hogsmeade. And as if all of that wasn't already bad enough, she and the peasants were now categorized as equals, which always confused the girl and was beginning to give her a headache.

And so, she decided to take a stroll around the grounds, hoping perhaps she could meet with one of the royal knights who would lead her over to the horses' stables. But then she came upon a playground... Ooooh! They didn't have this in the times she [thought she] came from, but it sure looked fun! Grinning giddily like a child, she rushed over to this colourful little place and took a seat on one of the swings, beginning to sway slowly with fascination sparkling in her large green eyes. What a cute little place! How had she never found it before? Quite amused, she began pushing herself further back until she was swinging a little higher up into the air.

She needed to see this place.

Gold was kind of surprised Hogwarts had a Jungle Gym thingie - Torin had never mentioned it. But then again, he hadn't mentioned a LOT of things. The fifth year grinned to herself, as she stepped out into the grounds, and decided she would give herself a tour of the school today.

Yes, she thought that every day but, really, it wasn't like she had been at Hogwarts for ages. Barely a week.

Then she saw a girl who looked totally happy, and had to grin. Grin again, that is. "Hey there!"

Mina kept focused on the end and slowly slightly as she reached the end and jumped down. She landed just a ways from Carter. Smiling, she let out a breath. "Nice race. I might have to add speed to my list of things to practice." she laughed a little. It was a very close race and she wasn't at all upset with losing. It was all in fun to begin with.

Enid was snapped out of the cloud of thoughts she had lost her head in when a young redheaded girl suddenly greeted her with a friendly grin. Smiling, the young girl came to a halt on the swing and let her feet rest on the ground as she turned her green-eyed gaze upon the newcomer. "Good day to thee, kind peasant," she greeted her politely. "Art thou familiar with these amusing and colourful instruments?" she asked, pointing at the monkey bars and other funky things the playground offered. In the times Enid [thought she] was from, no such things were seen. But before Gold could reply, Enid was letting out a long, rather exaggerated sigh. "O, woe me! My poor feet are so exhausted, it has been a tiring journey for I wandering this castle today... would thou be as kind as to give my feet a little rub, good peasant?" she asked politely.

Carter laughed. "Well, I guess it never hurt to try and improve yourself. As long as you don't go crazy with all your goals." he said walking toward her. Once he reached her his attention was stolen by some swings. He hadn't even noticed them there before. And they were standing in sand! It reminded him of the parks he took Anya to over the summer. He had the crazy urge to build a sandcastle and take a picture to send to Anya.

"Hello, overachiever here," Mina laughed as she pointed to herself. It was so in her nature to go crazy with her goals, but she would try to cool her jets a little. Noticing his eyes looking at the swings and sand, she smiled. "There are like so many things to do. The swings are great." she nodded as she thought about how she was just swinging on them not too long ago. "Plus, I do believe this sand," she smiled as she dug her feet into the sand, "is perfect for castles."

Epic sandcastle time?

"Anya and I built one over the summer. It was big enough that she could fit in it. Not that that was anything amazing. She is pretty small." Carter said with a laugh plopping into the sand. Building one when they had use of magic would be a bit easier than building one without. Especially when there wasn't water nearby.

Mina plopped down beside him and smiled, listening to his story. The more she heard about Anya, the more she was looking forward to meeting her. "Well, I'm sure it was epic and nice. Plus, Anya and you made it together and that make it special too." she said with a slight tilt of her head. Her little sisters never seemed interested in simple things like sandcastle, but then again, it wasn't as if she saw much of them over the summer.

Lorelai smiled softly at her friend, and put an arm around her shoulder, giving her a little squeeze. "We'll find it, sooner or later we'll find it. I promise. Sooner." Yeah, maybe later would be bad. EH, atleast Lori hadn't lost her diary, it was still in the bottom of her trunk, empty. How she'd die if someone found it, and she's WRITTEN in it. One of the reasons she didnt want to write in it.

That, wasn't short! "Annie... That's a skirt, a normal skirt. A short short skirt would be shorter than mine right now, and mine falls about two inches about where you're considering short short. We need to work on your measuring systems.." So, she needed to work on heel walking, heel living, heel knowing, heel breathing, and her skirt measuring. God, there was a girly girl to be made.

"The boys what?" Stupid boys.

'Wow, he thinks I am a good student, he must not have seen me almost fall then.' "Thanks but it takes a good teacher to make a good student. So you just have to accept that you are a good teacher if you are going to say I am a good student," Marie knew that she probably wouldn't be this interested in the game if the person teaching her was boring or crabby. Since Evan was neither of these she was actually having fun and really wanted to learn.

"You play attack what?" 'Does he attack the other players, that doesn't sound very nice.' It seemed her missing the ball caused him to forget what he was saying. When she looked at him though he didn't seem upset and, he didn't laugh at her, just like he promised he wouldn't.

"Whoa, nice job to you too, I probably would have missed that one if it would have been coming at me like that." With a million more questions running through her head she puts out her foot and stops the ball when it comes to her. Knowing she isn't suppose to pick up the ball she does it anyway, then walks over to Evan. "Yeah, I have another question, what happens when you touch the ball with your hands?" She said while grinning at him with a devilish little what you gonna do look. Yeah, she was feeling a little mischievious now, even good students like to have fun and give the teacher a hard time now and then.

Marie sure knew how to flatter a boy, didn't she? Evan grinned happily. Yay! His first student was happy with him, so maybe if he continued playing Football Manager at home and reading every article about the game, he could be future Ancelotti or someone, and be Chelsea's, Galatasaray's or Real Madrid's manager. Okay, he was dreaming way too high again. Back to real world where he was an ordinary wizard boy.

Chucking at the tone of her voice, he said "I play attacking midfielder. Meaning, I tackle the defence of the opponent and cross the ball to create a goal chance, usually by passing the ball to the striker." He then thought, and added: "This game includes no violence." Considering her tone of asking questions, he thought he should make it clear. Though some cavemen who claimed themselves to be football players kicked hard and broke a few legs, or fought with the opponent, but that was rare. They got heavy bans anyway and Marie didn't need to worry about them.

Raising one eyebrow as Marie grabbed the ball with her hands, he smiled. Was this too easy that she wanted to put an end? Probably. Well, he'd get to hard passes if she wanted to. Oh, good question. "There are various situations. It's always considered as foul. If it's in the penalty area and done by the defence team, penalty is given to the opponent, and a red card is shown to the defence team's player if he's done it intentially and blocked an obvious goal. In other handling cases, usually yellow card is given, though the call depends on the referee. If it's done in any other area, direct freekick is rewarded. If it's done in the defence's penalty area by the attacking team, goal kick is awarded." He thought over what he had said, worried that she might be overwhelmed with much information at once.

The boy shrugged his shoulders. That had been his idea of a kind gesture... well... not at the time. Well, anyway, you'd have expected the woman to be pleased with the decision... yes?

"Yuhh-you'd tthhhink so," he muttered, thinking back. The woman hadn't really been pleased. More like the antithesis of pleased. "Shuhhh-she ddddoesn't like me... an' th-the cccat's still puhh-pink."

And she wouldn't let Jake anywhere near the animal. Shame, really.

Carter laughed. "I talk about her a lot, don't I?" he asked taking a handful of sand and watching it fall through his fingers. "It's crazy that I haven't even known her three months and I feel all big-brothery."

"Well," Cadence said, absentmindedly pulling her wand back out of her pocket. "I wouldn't mind so much having a PINK cat. It would be the cat part I wouldn't like." she said with a laugh. Pointing her wand at the ground, she began making a few small rocks levitate up and down. "Now, a pink owl, that would be pretty awesome! Oo! Or a purple one... that would be even better. Arya would look good purple." Cadence giggled as she thought about what people would think if they saw a purple owl flying through the sky. Though, now that she was at Hogwarts, she didn't really have anyone to send letters to anyway. Her grandparents definitely didn't care that she was gone. They even told her not to come back until the summer.

Whatever. Cadence said in her mind.

"Mmm.. Okay," she said laughing.

"Do you make a good pillow?" Rosalie asked laughing. She was so tired she was about to fall asleep on Jung.

"Ah, scratch that. You will." Rosalie leaned her head on Jung's shoulder.
"Hope you don't mind.."

Hearing that this game did not have violence and that Evan's part in the game was to help set up the shot to get the goal made Marie feel a little better. She couldn't picture Evan being mean and actually attacking someone. "For a game with no violence there sure are a lot of violent sounding terms in it. " she said with a little chuckle.

Whoa, how could one little question lead to such a huge answer? 'I think I need to take notes' she thought as she tried to take in everything he was telling her about penalties and fouls. "So what you are saying is, don't pick up the ball, it's a bad thing." Yeah, that summed it up for her.
Not wanting him to think she wasn't really paying attention she thought she better ask another question. "So what do the red and yellow flags mean?" Yep, that seemed like an easy enough question, somtheing that should get an answer she would be able to remember without notes.

Even though her head was already swimming with tons of information she really wanted to learn as much as she could about the game. "So how long do you think it will take me to learn everything to be good like you at this game? Because obviousely I'm not going to learn it all in one day." Which was a good thing because that meant she would get to spend more time with him. Just thinkuing about being with him brought a smile to her face. It was nice being with someone who wasn't an emotional wreck all the time or someone who was only trying to be her friend to get information about someone else.

Legend was excited.

It was true.

Today would be the day that he finally mastered the STUPID bars known as monkey bars. He would finally get to the end.....you know....as soon as he made it past the first one.

Running over to the monkey bars the third year jumped on the platform and began to swing his arms. He had to loosen up! Get ready get ready! Reaching up for the metal bars he felt his legs dangle abit over the platform.

Okay, now or never it was time!

Lifting his right hand off the bar he reached for the second one....

and dropped.

Stupid monkey bars.

Mina smiled. "I find it very adorable though. I mean it's cute. My brothers aren't at all big brothery with me, I mean they think I'm a huge nuisances to them. Anya's very lucky to have such a great and caring big brother." she said with a huge grin. Carter was really a great brother already. "I'm sure she adores you too. Just wait and see, before long she's going to have to approve all your girl friends." That would be funny to see what Anya thought about all his girl friends.

Lucy was so happy that Lavi appreciated her words that she was competely thrown off by the hug he gave her. She hugged him back, though, glad she had made someone happy. "No problem, what are friends for?" She said with a grin.
And then his poor stomach started grumbling and he looked at her with his puppy eyes. She giggled as he started begging her to come to kitchen with him--she couldn't say it enough times--he was just too cute.
"Of course I 'll go with you, Lavi, you don't have to beg!" She said as she reached out and helped him up. "Let's go, I'm kind of hungry myself," She added, and then got off her swing. She dusted off her robes and waited for Lavi to get up and walk with her. This should be fun.

Avery Isabella Grace walked down to the Jungle Gym. She had a song stuck in her head and she couldn't help humming it. Her hazel eyes scanned for a familar face. She doubted she would find one since she hardly knew anyone anyway. Most people didn't talk to her. She was like the new girl. No one knew what to make of her so no one bothered to become friends with her. They usually didn't talk to her after she told them her parents died when she was young.

Her skin was ivory and her eyes were hazel. She wore smokey eye shadow and her lips were ruby red. In her mouth she wore fake vampire fangs that you stuck to your canines. She didn't know why she wore them, she just liked to. Avery's hair was pitch black with a few extentions. She had a petite and elegant frame and she was around 5 feet tall. A bit short for a sixteen year old girl.

Avery gracefull hung by her knees, giggling as her black hair flew out under her, as if it was attracted to the ground. Her smile was tantalizing and perfect. Her ruby lips and smokey eyes contrasted with her ivory skin, making her stand out from other girls. Most people would classify her in the Emo group. In truth she was part of that group.

She wished she knew a few people that was her age. This place was full of little first years and second years. And they were ALL acting as if they were in love. They didn't even know what the meaning of the word is. Avery found it funny. She didn't have her first boyfrind until she was 14 and even then she wasn't obsessed enough with him to say she was in love with him. Poor little kids.

Carter laughed. He had no idea how his family would take it if he brought a girl home. Well, that was a lie. His mother thought it was absolutely adorable he had a girlfriend. He hurried him off to a jewelry store as soon as he told her. But Marilyn liked her gift, so being embarrassed at the mall was worth it. He laughed a bit. "Well thanks. I love being called 'adorable.' My mother calls me that too."

"Stupid Monkey Bars." The blonde muttered. He felt like kicking them but that would obviously only cause pain. Picking himself up from the ground he dusted his pants off. Now he had grass stains. Great. Today was NOT a good day But he WOULD cross it fully soon. Or he would grow so tall he wouldn't even need to lift himself up he could jsut walk across on the ground. He was already 5'5 after all.


Looking around he noticed a couple of people. Some he guessed were younger than him, others were older. MOST though weren't even at the Playground to do anything....just sit an be stupid. Uh, that's what the lake was for. Legend notice a girl walking by, she looked....sad? Maybe lonely? Usually he wouldn't have even noticed her. He was busy so who really cared but after his fall he was so NOT going back up again....you know until like 10 minutes passed and he was sure no one was watching. Anyways, he had noticed her. And that was the point. And he had noticed her because she was a Hufflepuff. At least he thought she was. He had seen her at the Hufflepuff table before.

"Hey!!" He called out running toward the girl. "Er....hi, um...you're a Hufflepuff right?"Stupid question yeah but he just had to make sure.

Mina laughed and started drawing shapes in the sand with her finger. "Well you are adorable and dashing as well." she smiled. Most twelve year olds were adorable and cute. "My mother hasn't called me adorable ever but my aunt does. She likes to said I'm the adorable and sweet version of my eldest sister." It was true though, she was a lot sweeter than Odetta were could possible be. "Beside, cute and adorable people have friends that are cute and adorable like them. All my besties are adorable and cute." she added with a nod. Yes, she was a bit vain, but that was probably the extend of it.

Avery noticed a boy who was slightly younger than her. He was looking at her. It seemed as if he was comtemplating whether or not he should talk to her. He wasn't a bad looking guy. Usually Avery would be too busy hanging around on the jungle gym to notice huim. But today she did.

"Yes I'm a hufflepuff", Avery said. "My name is Avery it's nice to meet you" She flipped down from the Jungle gym and held out er hand to shake. maybe she could be friends with this boy. He wasn't much younger than her after all.

Avery had her black t-shirt on with her favorite skinny jeans and her black converses.

AHA! He knew he was right! Of course she was a Hufflepuff. "Name's Legend. I'm a Gryffindor." He said shaking the girls hand. Avery. He had to remember that. The blonde was the worse at remembering girl's names. "Nice name by the way." He added. Because...that was being polite right?

"So do you know any people in like Hufflepuff? Cause Uh...I was looking for a boy like this-" Legend held out his hand to show about an inch shorter than him. Cy was about...5'4 right? "Tall, and he has an Australian accent." He was going to asking about Katie too. But then he remembered. WHY would he want to find Katie?
