Alexa smiled widely as the grumpy old barkeep snatched her coupon and looked it over. Teehee... He was just too easy a target. Taking her butterbeer and stamped coupon she sweetly said, "Thanks so much" She decided to sit at the bar and drink it... maybe she'd get a rise out of the man yet. Pulling the sleeve of her peacoat over hea hand she wiped the rim of the bottle and took a deep drink. Free butterbeer was great!
Oh she was just gonna sit there and wave that free butterbeer in his face. Samuel remembered her from that last time the kids had been allowed into his pub. He never did forget a face or a smart aleck attitude either.
"You know there are other seats vacant" he drawled, giving the girl one of his customary glares. "Like way over there...in the back." And far away from me.

A moment later, she found the coupon laying face-up in her lap. Only, it wasn't a coupon for free butterbeer! It was a coupon for a free piece of dessert at Madame Puddifoot's. "Oh, nevermind that. I'd just like a glass of butterbeer, please," she said, stuffing the dessert coupon back into her pocket. "I believe this little young lady wanted a butterbeer, as well," she added, nodding towards Reese.
Oh great!
Now the Professors had free butterbeer coupons. Samuel was very closed to pulling his hair out but instead he managed another somewhat strained smile at the woman.
The moment he knew that she was going to pay for it he was cheerful as he grabbed a bottle of butterbeer and placed it onto the counter. "That'll be a galleon thanks love."
Samuel finally turned his attention on the girl standing beside the older woman and he raised his eyebrows at her. "What? Kneazle got your tongue or somethin?" She sure had plenty to say the last time she had been here.

She glanced up at the barkeep and raised her hand slightly to catch his eye. "Just a glass of ice water please."
Glass of water?
Samuel looked the woman up and down and really had to bite back the scathing retort that was ready to fly from his mouth.
"Is anybody going to pay for their drinks?" he muttered under his breath as he grabbed the cleanest glass he could find and poured some water into it and then plopped a couple of ice cubes into it before sliding it over to her.
Avery couldn't believe that story. It was not good to break your wand. "Well at least you are getting another one rather soon. Can't practice magic without a wand after all." Avery was actually having a good time with Jenny, not something she was expecting to do. "Jenny lets do something crazy" Avery blurted it out, she was so starved for adventure that she was willing to bring anyone in on it with her. She just hoped Jenny didn't think SHE was crazy.
Heh! She waited for someone to say that. All she had been doing was shopping. Shopping!! What adventure is shopping? None. Unless you feel like stealing from Honeyduke's. That would be crazy. "Okay!! This will be fun, but what should we do? There's a ton of things to do." She said. Well it WAS Hogsmeade. Avery & Jenny would be a team!!

"Let's go blow something up" Avery teased Jenny a little bit, but she wouldn't mind if Jenny said yes. "I'm not sure what there is all to do in Hogsmede. This is my first time here ever. What do you think we should do?" Alyssa drank her butterbeer and waited for Jenny to through out some ideas, besides blowing something up. Avery had a feeling that they could loose more than just points if they blew something up.
Stomping the snow off her shoes, Mina looked around for any sign of Ella. It looked like she wasn't there just yet. Glancing around, she moved to find a booth in the back. She really didn't want to be seen being all cheer fangirl in the middle of the place.
Sliding into the booth, she removed her scarf and pulled out a journal. Flipping it open she waited.
Ella arrived at the Hog's Head with her slouchy bag slung at her side, full of supplies they could use to make cheerleading stuff. "Hey, Mina!" Ella grinned, settling down in a seat beside her. "Started writing a cheer or something?" Ella smiled. She had a bunch to tell her.
"Hunter said he can get the outfits made for us if we get down an idea of how we want it to look. I'm not sure how they should look yet.. should we have a Hogwarts crest on it? We'll be cheering for lots of teams.."

"Oh, yeah?" Gabriella replied, turning back to Reese. She made a face, though, when the girl mentioned wiping the glass before drinking from it. Eww. Had the shopkeeper not heard of washing dishes before? "Eww, thanks for the warning." Speaking of the shopkeeper, just where was he? The place did seem busy, so she just figured he was with another customer. "So, Miss Upstead, what are your post-graduation plans?"

Reese shrugged her shoulders at the mention of post-graduation plans. "I'm hoping I can get into the music business," she answered. "I mean, I've been told I've got a contract waiting for after I graduate, but I don't know if the people just told me that or not." It would sooooo be like the people at the recording studio to tell her they would give her a contract, then not have one when she graduates.
Upon hearing the barkeeper's voice, she turned to face the man that she had a very good conversation with that visit. Or at least that's what she though. It took her a few minutes to realize that the man was IGNORING her. It was only when Ashford mentioned her that the barkeeper looked towards her.
Kneazle got your tongue? Ha! Very funny. "I'm happy to see you, too," she sarcastically replied. "I just want a butterbeer." She placed the coupon on the counter and smiled.

"Of course you do" he replied sarcastically and grabbing the coupon. If he had to hand out one more free butterbeer, he was gonna start hexing things.
Samuel scrutinized the coupon carefully, running his wand over it and then snarled when it proved to be authentic. He stamped it and slammed it back onto the counter along with the butterbeer. And decided to just not say anymore.

Goodness, I was going to hide out in here all day drinking butterbeer... and I only had the one coupon. Sigh... I guess I will have to go to The Three Broomsticks instead." "Thanks," she commented, sliding a galleon across the counter. The shopkeeper seemed pleasant enough. After all, he was offering her a smile. A strained smile, yes, but a smile nonetheless.
She waited while Reese placed her order, then she struck up conversation with the Slytherin girl once again.

Reese took a sip of her butterbeer, after making sure the top of the bottle was clean, before turning back to the Healer. "Yeah, I know about the ups and downs. My friend Lima has a band and I've been in it for the last 2 years or so. We haven't done much, but it can be stressful at time," she replied. TWO Broadway shows? Wow, that was impressive. "I'm still planning on attending a Broadway show after graduation," she told her. "Well, you know, when I get enough money to go to New York." She took another sip of her butterbeer as she looked towards the group of Professors that had arrived. She wasn't sure if she should leave the Healer, so that she wasn't interrupting her time to have a conversation with other adults, or if she should just stay.

Outfut?!?! She hadn't even thought that far out. "We could, I didn't even think of outfits. But they would be fun too. I mean I have like pom-poms I made." Pulling out her bag, she reached for a few. She had made them from scarfs she purchased months ago while she was last in Hogsmeade.

Ella nodded. "Great. Let's hear it," she chuckled. She had a cheer in mind all day that she had been working on as well, and she was eager to tell Mina. But she wanted to hear hers first. She sat down in a seat across from her and placed her bag on the ground.
"Yeah, the only thing I really did was get the outfits and come up with a little cheer," Ella shrugged. She wanted to be of more help, so that's why she decided to write to Hunter about the cheer outfits. She watched Mina pull out the pom-poms and smiled approvingly. "Those are really good."

Smiling, she set the pom-poms on the table. She was kind of proud of how they came out. "Thanks Ella, I made them very quickly. I just hope they will work." Shrugging, she smiled as she played with the tassel of her scarf. She didn't realize how much they still had to do for the game. Maybe they could get most of the stuff done today and be all set for the match. She couldn't wait to be back up in those stands.
She smiled crookedly at the appreciation in Oliver's voice. Well, any Beatles song was good, she guessed no matter which one she said, would be good. Bahaha! Ah, Lennon... Her smile got more accented at this. "Really...that's a good choice." she winked and drank more butterbeer. "Rubber Soul is awesome too...it's got a special...feeling to it."Hm, yes.
Her face fell a little. Really? He was still going to get close to that tree? She wasn't sure if he was joking...he probably wasn't, so maybe she'd have to remind him of their little...'pact' they had made that day at the lake. "I promised you I wouldn't go near the tree," Not really, but it was close... "You won't do the same?" Ugh, this was getting all serious again... Ugh."I wont be able to save your twitchy little butt if the 'Violent' tree decides to ''hug'' you." Her eyebrows raised as she watched him. "And how do you know they don't feel pain? I thought the Whomping Willow was the first one of it's kind you've seen."Narrow eyes.
Pilliwickle said that? Eh. Miranda had NOT payed attention to that. "Oh, well... then that settles it. Hehe."
How much, what?"Oh, everything I had saved... except for a little to buy chocolate." A small chuckle escaped her, but her cheeks became a little rosy when realising how she saved money for that candy. Her eyes narrowed a little when he asked...requested to take it for a fly. He would totally fly it into the Willow. But... "Sure." She smiled and nodded. "I'll give you a little help...just to make sure you can handle such a powerful broom." She winked, but looked dead serious. Bwahaha!
"Allrighty!" She almost hopped to her feet and got her things together. She tilted her head at Oliver's gesture, but rolled her eyes. Chivalry, pffft. And with that she opened the door, hoping to get well away from this place.
Oliver smiled at Claudia and nodded, agreeing with her. Who would have thunk she had such good taste, eh? Heh. She was quite a cool chick under all that teen!angst she had going on.
He pulled a face. She was using emotional blackmail. SO not cool. Twitchy little butt!? Hmm.. Oliver wasn't sure he liked that choice of words to describe him. He was tempted to roll his eyes and not even bother with a reply but instead he smirked smugly at her. “I would.” He replied casually. “But unlike you, I can look after myself.” heh.. like really. “It's a scientific fact that girl's reflexes aren't as fast as boys. The likeliness of you getting hit in the face is like 37% greater than mine.” He looked at her and pulled a face. “Trees don't have a nervous system or a brain so how could they possibly feel pain?” Like Duh. He sat back and crossed his arms and gave Miranda a very self satisfied smirk. “It is. But it's still a tree.” Narrow eyes back. Indeed.
He looked at her closely – the rosy cheeks as they talked about her customised broom were quite endearing but the narrowed eyes then spoiled the whole thing. He raised an eyebrow as if to say, 'What?' But then she answered in the affirmative to his request. Strange, confusing girl. “Cool. Thanks, Miranda. You're alright for a rodent, you know that?” He teased playfully. “Oh I can handle it.” He hoped. Yeah.. course he could!
He grinned when she rolled her eyes at his polite gesture -so bloody confusing this girl was- and followed her out the door onto the street.

Surprised to hear that Reese had actually been performing for the last two years or so, Gabriella's fit lit up a little as she nodded in reply. "Oh, well that's great, Miss Upstead. I'm sure you've got lots of experience then," she remarked. She stopped to take a few sips of her butterbeer. It wasn't bad considering where she'd purchased it.
"Oh, attending a Broadway show is fantastic, and I know you'll just love it. Do you have any idea which show you'd like to see?" she asked, knowing that in New York City, many, many shows typically played at once. "Miss Upstead, I'm going to say hello my colleagues, so I'm going to wish you a nice day and move on. It was nice speaking with you." She raised her glass into the air, nodded, then headed off to speak with Max and Neo. "Ili?" she called out, giving her friend a wondering look, wanting to know if she, too, was coming along.
Constantine decided to slip into the Hog's Head for a little rest and relaxation. He had spent all morning chopping up firewood for his fireplace. He wasn't too big on using magic and enjoyed the exercise. He looked around as the door shut behind him. Ah, there was Iliana! He threw her a smile, he had left her a bundle of firewood as well.
Hmm, and there was that Healer. And Max too! What good luck he happened upon. "Hey Max," Neo called, walking over to where the man was.
Seeing Neo enter the pub, Iliana lifted her hand and gave him a pleasant smile in return.

Nodding, she pulled out her quill and jotted down some notes. "We are so going to have fun at the match, aren't we?" She was so happy she wouldn't be doing this cheering thing alone and she really couldn't have asked for a better friend to do this with either.

Oh well... her classrooms were usually under a tree or in the forest. Who was she to complain about a little dirt?
Iliana gave the nurse a appreciate smile but shook her head. "Ellie, you're a dear but I don't mind standing. Honestly."
She sipped at her water and glanced over her shoulder at the men's table. "That's a great idea," she answered. "I've hardly seen Max all term." And she was dying to get away from all of these kids.
Hearing her name, Iliana jumped slightly as she was pulled from her thoughts. "Sorry," she said. "I'm right behind you."
Hearing Ili mutter the word gross, Gabriella turned to see her friend wiping off the rim of her glass with a handkerchief. She laughed lightly then leaned in a little closer. "Isn't it disgusting?" she asked. "I had to clean mine off, too..." She peered down at her glass, which was now cleaned off, and took another sip of butterbeer. "It gets better once you do the cleaning, though."
A moment later, the two women had reached the table Max and Neo were seated at. "Hey, Max, Constantine. Mind a bit of company?" she asked. She didn't think either man would actually mind, but she thought it polite to ask anyway.
you live your life just once, so don't forget about a thing called love.
Constantine looked up to notice that Iliana and Ellie had approached their table. He through Iliana a smile and, yeah, Ellie got one too. "I don't mind," he shrugged, "unless Max does?" Constantine threw the man a look, gauging for a reaction.

She was trying not to freak herself out despite the feeling she got from even approaching the place. She had no desire to go in there. None. But everyone thought she was crazy and she had to figure stuff out. She had her notebook with her, filled with crazy conspiracy theories about the coupons and injuries and trying to link all of that with the events of the previous terms.
Maybe she was going a little mad. Cela had considered the possibility for a while but after her last run in with Raiden... she felt like she had to do something about what she was Seeing.
So it was that Celandine Toussaint peeked in the windows of the Hogs Head, relaxing the tiniest bit when she spotted a whole bunch of professors and Hogwarts staff in there. That meant things would be okay, right? Maybe... she could sneak around the back?
Her eyes went to the bar. Was there some sort of record of who had redeemed coupons? She snuck carefully in through the back room, intending to have a look around. The further inside she got, the stronger the bad feeling grew. She fully intended to find somewhere to hide, wait until the Hogs Head closed for the night and then snoop around some more.

Alexa giggled and said, "Yeah, well I didn't come here for your conversational skills barkeep. But, I thought you had warmed up to me finally... I suppose you don't want my money now then do you... Goodness, I was going to hide out in here all day drinking butterbeer... and I only had the one coupon. Sigh... I guess I will have to go to The Three Broomsticks instead." SHe clamped her lips together and averted her eyes, trying not to laugh.
Eh? She had him all figured out didn't she? If there was one thing that would keep Samuel talking to the kids was the thought of making money out of it.
"Fine" he growled, glaring at the young girl. "What did you want to talk about?" he asked and rolling his eyes. Just cause he was gonna talk to her didn't mean he had to be nice.

Red and gold, it's the best
We'll show them all, all the rest
Gryffindor Lions, we've got the stuff
Better beware, we play it rough
Us Lions, we're flying high
Think you'll beat us? I'd like to see you try!
Ella smiled. "That's all I've come up with so far. What do you think?"

Nodding, she pulled out her quill and jotted down some notes. "We are so going to have fun at the match, aren't we?" She was so happy she wouldn't be doing this cheering thing alone and she really couldn't have asked for a better friend to do this with either.
Standing by the table with the two gossiping girls, Samuel cleared his throat. "Are you two gonna order somefin? Or am I gonna have ta stand around here all day?"
And ten galleons says that they wanna a butterbeer. And another ten galleons says they have a coupon. Samuel scratched the side of his head with wand waiting impatiently for them to order...something.

Walking into the back room to get more of that infernal butterbeer, Samuel stopped dead when he spotted a young girl. His nostrils flared slightly at the sight of her...in his back room.
"What do you think your doin?" he asked in a low voice and moving further into the room.
