"It's called the 'I'm-So-Awesome-I-Don't-Need-to-Use-Shampoo' Shampoo," Gold laughed. Mr. T was fun to hang out with. She was actually beginning to forget she had been grumpy because Candy hadn't showed up. Not that she was going to let Candy get away with that!

"You have a girlfriend?" Gold clapped a hand to her mouth, in mock astonishment. "Mr. T, when did that happen? Poor girl, poor girl. I must offer her my support and well wishes."

"You know that that's not very hygienic. Not bathing. Are you sure you should be dating him?" Totally joking here. He knew that Denver washed his hair and he knew that he and Gold were good together. He didn't even hate the kid anymore.

"Very funny. You know that I do." And speaking of Brody.. "Have you seen her? I need to give her her present?" It was odd that he hadn't seen her anywhere and it was Valentines Day.

"I did not say that he does not bathe," Gold said, poking his arm. Sort of gently, though. Or he might poke her back, and that would totally start a poke-poke war. "He just uses a really unconventionally cool shampoo. And I'm pretty sure I should be dating him. I mean, no one else is hot enough for him."

She stuck her tongue out at him, but could only do that for a very brief moment. Because then he mentioned Brody, and her mood turned serious. "As a matter of fact, I have," she said, frowning slightly. "Saw her by the lake. She didn't look too good, so I asked her if I could help her to the hospital wing, and she... fainted. I took her to Healer Ashford." She shrugged a pair of fair shoulders.

He poked her back. "Are you sure about that? I mean..." he shuddered a bit at the thought. He was a germaphobe, so that was not a pretty thought. "His hair isn't better than mine is it?" he added trying to sound casual. He loved his hair and didn't want Dylan's to be better than his even if he wasn't jealous. "I dunno. Brody is hot enough. But she can't date him and she doesn't even like him."

Okay, now he was worried. "She fainted? Why didn't you come and find me?" This was not good at all. "I'm going to have to go visit her. She will wonder if I don't." He knew Brody well enough to know that she would want to see him.

Poke war! Gold poked him again, this time a little harder. Still not too hard, though. Maybe the poke war could be stopped before it got too ... pokey? "His hair?" Umm, now Gold was not known for being very diplomatic - though she had learned how to be that a bit, since she had gotten her Prefect badge - but she couldn't exactly tell Mr. T that she did think Dylan's hair was better. Dylan's hair was... practically one of the bits Gold loved most about him. "I think it might be, Mr. T." She stuck her tongue out at him. And Brody? Pfft. "Brody's awesome, but she's really not Dylan's type of hot. You know that, Mr. T."

"I tried," she said, with a shrug. "Couldn't, though. Besides, I had to take her to the hospital wing, and I was more worried about that. I sat with her, until Healer Ashford came. She's better, now," she added. "But you should still go see her."

He poked her again a little harder but still gently. He didn't want to accidentally hurt her because he liked her and he didn't like hurting girls. "But I love my hair." He pouted. But at least Brody was a fan of it. She would say that it was better than Dylan's. "Eh, that's alright 'cause she is mine." Though he wasn't sure how she couldn't be anyone else's as well. 'cause she was amazing.

"Oh, okay. I just hope it's not the meningitis again." He was still scared even if Gold was saying she was fine. He wanted Brody to be fine. He didn't like her sick.

"I have your present too." He was trying to make himself feel better.

Gold poked him back, with a frown. Why were they poking each other? No idea. "Your hair is nice, too," she told him, with a cheerful smile. "... and yes, you and Brody are perfect for each other." Like Gold and Dylan were. Perfect for each other, that is.

She patted his hand, trying to calm him down. "Things will be fine, Mr. T," she assured him, with a nod. They would be, right? "... and my present? Why, thank you. Now give it to me." She stuck her tongue out at him, in an attempt to lighten up his mood.

"Don't make me poke you again." He smirked. This could just end up going on forever and he wasn't sure if he wanted it to. "You better love my hair. It's better than yours." BWAHAHA! Even though he knew that that was a dangerous thing to say to any girl. "Aww, you think so?" That was sweet of her to say.

"I know. I'm being paranoid." But he couldn't help it.

He took her gift out and hoped she would like it. It was a Nemo plush toy. haha!

Gold gave him a look, but did not poke him again. Because he had been nice and not poked her back, for a change. She did roll her eyes when he said his hair was better than hers, though. She wasn't even affected by that comment. Because her hair was obviously one of the best things in the world. She loved it way too much to let anyone else's opinion of it matter, even in the least. Talk about vain.

"My hair's perfect," she said with a shrug. "Everyone knows that, Mr. T." Yeah, it was a fact. "... and I wouldn't have said that, if I didn't think it." He and Brody really did look good, together and ... and was that her gift? Gold took it -- and, of course, it turned out to be a Nemo plush toy. Predictable, but definitely adorable.

"Thank you," she said, grinning at the plush toy. "It's wonderful. Here, have yours." She chucked the red-and-gold box at him. Well, not chucked. More like passed. Because you don't throw gifts at people, even if they're good friends of yours. Not to mention, the box contained a sterling silver compass. She didn't want to damage that.

He smiled as she gave him that look. He knew that he was right about his hair though. Though she was also vain about hers as well. Like Brody was.

And there was the proof right there.

"If you say so, Miss G." He smiled as he watched her reaction to his present. "You have one now, so you can't threaten to take mine." BWAHAHA! And if she still wanted his, too bad for her 'cause she wasn't getting it. "Everybody knows?" He gasped.

"Wow! A compass! That will come in handy when I explore the wilderness of the Forbidden Forest." He picked the thing up and started to fiddle with it. It was so cool.

If she said so? Pffft, her hair really was awesome. All the more today, in fact, because she had thrown some pretty orange in all the red, and it looked simply brilliant.

"'Tis a fact, Mr. Tarantella." Yeah, she was totally going to call him that, if he was bad to her. "So of course everyone knows. It will probably be added to the body of the universe's best-known, general knowledge, before this year is out. Or this week." Bwaha.

"Forbidden forest?" She gave him a look. "And I used to think that you're a prefect."

He took her silence as an admission of the fact that she was now aware of the truth: Torin's hair was better than hers. And he didn't even need to throw in orange to pull it off.

"Tarantella?" he blinked and looked at her confused. Because he was confused. What the heck was a Tarantella? "It can't be because it's not common knowledge." Okay, so it was. He was just being silly now. But when wasn't he?

"You know I was joking, right?" He smiled at her and put the compass down. Though he had been in that forest before. As a part of class though. He wasn't stupid enough to wander off in there alone.

"Yes, Tarantella," Gold said, with a nod. "If you try to be bad to me, I get to call you that. Or would you like it better if I call your Mrs. Nemo?" Bwaha. "Seriously though, it is common knowledge. I mean, my hair is fantastic, Mr. T. Don't be jealous, okay?"

Hehe.

"No?" She grinned at him. "I would have loved to pay the Forbidden Forest a visit," she said, with a smile. "Can't, though. Prefect and all. I want to stay out of trouble, and be good." She loved risks, but the Forbidden Forest was a big no, for now.

Eye roll.

"Yeah, that's not happening." There was no way he was gonna let her give him a feminized name because Tammy was the only person he allowed to. Because she was special like that. "Tarantella will do. And no, it's really not common knowledge. My hair will go down in the books though." He winked. His hair was amazing.

"I've been in there before. Last Term. It was part of a lesson." It had been a rather fun one too. It was this scavenger hunt all over the grounds. Bunbury always had the best lesson ideas.

Oh, but this was awesome! Mr. T didn't like the feminine nickname, which meant.... "But Mrs. Nemo, my hair is totally more awesome!" Gold exclaimed, with a grin. Hehe. HEHE.

She frowned, when he said he had been in the Big, Bad Forest, before. How come he got to go, when she did not? "Well, I wasn't here last term," she said. "But I would still love to go in there, sometime. Maybe some professor will decided one of their lessons needs a bit of forest air?" Yeah, she could hope all she wanted to, could she not?

He glared at her now and he was serious. "Call me that again and I'm leaving." No one was allowed to give him feminine names other than Tammy. Not even Brody could. And if she couldn't, no one could.

"You weren't?" He gasped and then smiled at her. She was awesome, but he wanted Fyo back. He missed Fyo so much. And this reminded him that he had to send him his Valentines Day present. 'cause Fyo was his male Valentine. haha. "Keep hoping for that, Goldie."

Gold raised an eyebrow. Why was Torin being a jerk ? "You can leave if you want to, I don't have a problem with that," she said coolly. Honestly, what was with guys and being total idiots?

That said, she picked up her bottle of butterbeer, and took a sip. Mr. T was now officially weird.

Okay, what was with girls and making him feel bad? They really needed to stop that.

"Sorry. I just don't like being called Miss anything. Just like you wouldn't want to be called Mr." Hopefully that would make her understand.

"Don't apologize," Gold said quickly. She didn't like apologies. They made her feel all bad, for some reason. "... and I wasn't calling you Miss anything, Mr. T. I was calling you Mrs. Nemo." She gave him a little smile. "But I won't, if you don't like it, alright?"

"I wouldn't actually take offense, if someone called me Mr. just because they're close to me, and think it's fun." Even though it was totally more awesome to be a girl!

He shook his head at her. Did it really matter that she had called him Mrs instead of Miss? "If you wouldn't mind that... then technically I could call you Mr Nemo. Right?"

Mr. Nemo? Gold laughed out loud, that sounded like such an 'abrupt' nickname for someone like her. Because it wasn't like she was a big fan of Nemo, or anything.

"You could have called me that," she said, taking a little sip of butterbeer. "But you can't. Because if I'm not allowed to call you Mrs. Nemo, you're not allowed to call me Mr. Nemo."

It was only fair.

Aah, yes. Of course. He knew all of that already, why he was speacking in a technical sense. Not that he would really do it.

"Oh, I know that. Why I said I could." He nodded at her and finished up his butterbeer. He was sorta wanting another one now.

"Smart," Gold said. "Looks like you don't need Smartness 101." She stuck her tongue out at him, then gave him a friendly smile as she glanced at her watch and -- and it was getting late. She had to meet up with a few, other people. Bad Candy for not showing up!

"I have to get going, Mr. T," she told him, as she rose to her feet. "It was nice talking to you, so you had better not disappear on me, again." She picked up her handbag, as she spoke.

Cool fresh air breezed in The Hog's Head as the front door swung open, letting in not only small little flurries of tiny snowflakes but three little girls as well. Not that little mind you, they were after all first years not eight year olds but some would go as far as to call them short vertically challenged. One more so then the others since she came in at about 4'4" although it must be known that she had grown half an inch in the last couple of months-a fact she was quite proud of.

Standing as straight as she could to show off this fact, ivory led her group to the bar and hopped up onto a stool. Eyes bright and wide she looked around trying to take in all the details. She'd never been in...this kind of establishment before and her over active imagination was getting away with her as she imagined bar fights breaking out and drinking games and whatnot. The actuality of the situation was a casual environment but in her eyes there was excitement at every turn.

But being here wasn't the only reason she was in a peppy mood, although a coupon for a free butterbeer was one of them, it was mainly because today was a special day. At least in her eyes...it wasn't every day one turned twelve...a fact she was only too aware of.

Thinking herself way older then she was yesterday, she put on her most polite voice and tried to speak to the bartender as maturely as possible.

"Hello sir would you be so kind as to provide us with three butterbeers please?"

Digging her hand into her pocket, she took out her coupon and placed it on the counter, smiling encouragingly to her friends to do the same.

"We'd really appreciate it if you would do us the favor or redeeming these coupons for us."

As she walked into the room, she shook the snow from off herself, carefully shielding her pygmy puff from the cold with her hands. Once she finished shaking her curly hair, the first year placed her pygmy puff Smore back on her shoulder as she looked around the dingy room.

It wasn't the most welcoming place in Hogsmeade, what with all the spider webbs and dim lighting. She looked at the ground as she slowly walked behind Ivory, it didn't seem like the owner kept a broom or any form of cleaning supplies for that matter. It didn't seem like many people visited the place for obvious reasons, the only reason they were here was cause they had a coupon for free butterbeer, and Arya loves her cupons.

Had Arya been a stickler for cleanlyness, she would have never sat on the stool, but seeing as she wasn't the girl didn't hesitate to hop on the stool beside Ivory, smiling at the bar keeper as Ivory ordered for them. "I'll have a grilled cheese sandwhich as well please."she added. Arya probably shouldv'e waited to eat at The Three Broomsticks as it was a much more sanitary place, but she was to hungry to care.

Arya moved Smore from her shoulder to the dusty countertop as she searched her pockets for her coupon, finally pulling it out and holding it out for the man to accept.
