She gave him a mischevious little grin.

"We could end up related, sir." She paused and waggled her eyebrows. "Me, you AND Neptune."

Oh the LULZ.

"I better go do my assignment for Professor Duskurk." She wrinkled her nose slightly at that. Not the homework or the professor, just... the class.

Related? He gave her a blank look before covering it with a polite expression.

"Yes, Miss Toussaint, I'm happy to have seen you again. Good luck with your assignment."

Merlin help him if some twist of fate had him related to the puppy!Bott.

.... Okay that was too funny.

Celandine laughed out loud, not quite giggles but more genuine enjoyment and amusement.

"Yes sir." She gave him a little wave and wandered off, following the line of the wall.

And just like THAT, Neptune had FOUND a boy! She turned to look over her shoulder to SEE if either the Headmaster or Celandine had noticed - GIGGLES - that she had already landed one.

"Hellooooooooo there," Neptune put herself in to Mr. Fellow There's path. "Would you like to escort me around?" Even though we only just met and you probably don't recognize me?

At first there was nothing but the gate looming up before him, reminding him of the mountains back home beyond it and across the ocean. And then there was a face. A girl's face. A very bright, happy, furiously close face consuming his whole vision.

He wasn't sure whether it was a shout of surprise or a 'gawk' that resembled more of a startled parrots call that left his lungs as he jumped back. Of course jumping back involved precise and technical coordination of the feet, which of course, he did not have.

Two stumbles backwards from the sudden-appearing girl and he landed hard on his back. Good thing he had his backpack on to cushion the fall. And good thing Merlin wasn't in it.

"Ehh...what...sorry?" He blinked, trying to decide which of these days he was going to have a heart attack or seriously hurt himself.

"Oh my goodness!" Neptune skipped over to Mr. Timber Britches and put her face RIGHT over his. Her head tilted to the side and she considered him quietly for just a moment longer than would be considered polite.


"You're not making a very good first impression, dear boy. Are you quite alright?" She squatted down beside him and patted his shoulder. Poor, poor dear.

He had originally been planning on getting up. However when the girl's face appeared over him and well...right in his face, he had to admitt pressing back against the ground seemed like the better alternative.

Good. First. Impression? He blinked at her as she patted his shoulder. No, perhaps tripping and falling backwards over your own feet wasn't a wonderful method of introduction, but he couldn't say that suddenly popping up in front of someone like a wack-'em goppher was the best tatic either.

"Uhm...I'm fine. Thank you..." For the concern or for giving me a premature stroke?

He blinked at her again, trying to decide if he knew her from somewhere. He was pretty sure he didn't. First time introductions and all.

"You're welcome. And you can thank me again after I help you up," with that, Neptune offered her little hand to him. He had to be off balance with that backpack and all. She GIGGLED at him for being so silly. "I'm Neptune Bott, in case your fall knocked you silly and senseless. You really shouldn't let gravity get you down like that."

Really!

Deciding no harm could come from it, Sabel accepted the girl's offer of help up, using his other hand to push him back to his feet. That was until he caught her name and his eyes snapped open wide, almost releasing her hand to fall right back down. Neptune Bott?!

"The Neptune?!"

That probably hadn't been the wisest choice as a response to her introduction, but he didn't even realize he had said it aloud until his tongue formed the last dot on the exclamation mark.

He swallowed.

Neptune's GIGGLES erupted. THIS young man was, well, quite clearly a fan. Oh sigh. She pretended (poorly) to be momentarily put out but got over that quickly. "Neptune June Bott. The only one I know of." And of course, OF COURSE The Neptune.

When she was quite sure he wasn't going to keel over again, Neptune let his hand go and started a circle around him. Assessing for damage you know. "You SEEM all in order."

Oh dear Merlin, it was Neptune. The Neptune he had heard Kellen and Raiden describe as overexcited being an underexaggeration for her nature. First Choluna, now Neptune. Oh thank you Lady Luck.

And then, she started to circle him. As he stood rigid, fiddling with the strap slung over his shoulder, he couldn't help but feel like she was a cat stalking a mouse. He wanted to run, to bolt somewhere safe. Except for the fact that he would probably trip again after less than two feet. It wouldn't accomplish much.

Swallowing, Sabel forced a small, respectful smile. Best not to be rude. Except for his name. He could leave that out for now.

"In order? I would hope so, I just completed all my filing this morning." Maybe a lame joke would free him.

Completing her circle, Neptune planted her hands on her hips in front of him. Was that... humor? She provided some halfhearted giggles just in case. He HAD just fallen down in front of her, so no sense in furthering his embarrassment.

"Well. Go on, silly. This is where you tell me your name and agree to escort me around the grounds. I wouldn't say no to an offered arm either, for as much as your safety as my own."

She wasn't asking TOO much, right? Right.

He let out a sigh. The lameness didn't work. Reaching up he scrubbed the back of his neck, tilting his head and considering her. Well, she was rather excited, but so far he didn't see any pertinent danger. Then again, he had faith in Kellen and Raiden not to overexaggerate too much.

Shifting the weight of his pack he decided, once again, not to be rude. "Sabel Dakest." His eyes flicked around the front gate area. "And...why do you need an escort? Is someone harrassing you?"

Was that the best question to ask? He wasn't sure it was.

Neptune took it upon herself to take his arm. She was gentle with dear Sabel though, unsure of his... well... was there something wrong with him? "Sabel Dakest. Lovely. Just lovely. I am so very, very pleased to meet you." She TUGGED on his elbow and TUGGED again.

The motion clearly said, LEAD ME, PLEASE. AND HURRY IT UP.

Daylight was burning. Just saying.


"No Silly Sabel. I just want to walk around with you. And, if I'm real honest, muffin, I'm worried about you making it back to the castle." Neptune pat-patted his arm with her free hand. She giggled prematurely because he was probably going to blush and be SHY, huh? Or fall down again? GIGGLES!

Oh dear Merlin again! She had the giggles. And she was holding his arm. Red crept up onto his cheeks as he half-blinked half stared at her.

Muffin? Where did she pull that from? He was no form of baked goods!

Of course he was also having a strange sense of De-ja-vu from his Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Not because she had been in the same class, but because she was starting to unnerve him as that class had. And, like the class his brain flicked to autopilot. Aaaannnnddd his feet stared walking. Where he was going, he had no idea.

Awkward.

"So...Neptune. What year are you in?" Yes, try to be nice, civil, reasonable and you might survive. After all she wasn't that bad.

"There it is!" Neptune POINTED at the REDDENING cheeks and pretty much his discomfort. Not that she was trying to make it WORSE, but... she'd PREDICTED it, see? "Pink is my favorite color." And his cheekies were PINK! Her little fingers wiggled up towards them, threatening to TOUCH those CHEEKS.

But she didn't.

Didn't want to be TOO presumptuous, right?

"I'm a Third year by Hogwarts standards, but this is my first term here. I've been in a private school." A very, very private school that consisted of her brother and her younger sister. "I'm enjoying my time here though. Would you like to watch me conjure butterflies?" DID HE?

Ohkay. That was a little too close. He wanted so badly to lean back a little bit, away from her fingers, but he was walking, she had his arm and all in all it would not have resulted in them, or at least him, standing. So he just blinked at her, and unfortunately blushed a little more. Not that he was trying to show her the favorite color she had mentioned.

He let out a small sigh of relief that she didn't end up touching him and decided it was best to look where he was going. Another transfer student. There seemed to be a lot of them. And then...

Wait.

What was that about..."Butterflies?"

"Butterflies!" Neptune shrieked giddily. "I was JUST teaching the Headmaster how to do it and I'm so sure I can teach you, too. Do you have a wand?" Of course he did, and Neptune patted his person to try and find it for him. She GIGGLED like a maniac and PAT PAT PATTED his torso before digging into his pockets. Come out come out where ever you are!

Butterflies sounded interesting. Learning to cast them sounded interesting. THAT however was NOT interesting!

If he could have gotten any air past his suddenly closed airways he would have probably screeched at the sudden patting over his body and invasion of his pockets by her hands. Instead, his body tried jumping backwards, caught by both her hands and his own feet stumbling over one another, sending him to fall flat on his rear with a heavy grimace.

He wasn't sure whether his face was a burning red or a pale white as he stared at the girl. The problem was, his wand was in his backpack which he was now half sitting upon.

Thomas walked to the front gate of the school, alone. He came down with his wand to study some magic and to do his homework in Astronamy. As he got down there he saw a few students, but he didn't recognize ant of them he ignored them. He sat down on a small smooth rock. The cool breeze just made colder every second. He hated winter even though he has his birthday on February. He took out his Astronamy homework and began doing it.

When he finished his homework he took out two books and scarf out of his bag. He wrapped the blue scarf around his neck, just in case he gets a cold. He began reading the book he burrowed from the library and began reading it. Even though the book looked thin from the outside the story that was written on the white dirty papers was fantastic. He just wished that people will take more care of library books because this book was of stains and it made it harder for him to read the book.

She clearly did not approve, indicated by the tone of her voice and the way her hands now grasped her hips. "If I were you, and thank Good Merlin I'm NOT, I'd just stay down there and crawl everywhere I went. Surely it'd save you some grief and ugly bruises." Honestly! This time, Neptune did him a favor and just left him down there. What was the point in wasting her energy if he'd just fall over again? "Perhaps you should rethink the backpack."

Not only was it unfashionable (shoulder bags are SO much more "in"), but it was apparently hazardous. Or so Neptune hoped it was the backpack throwing him off.

Neptune looked around for assistance, her eyes landing on ... ohhhhh.. Helllllo fellow Ravenclaw! If she weren't so EXCEEDINGLY exasperated with Sabel and his lack of grace, she'd have surely giggled and waved at this studious boy. As it were, she could only look to him for pity now. Pity poor Neptune who had unwittingly stumbled across a complete and utter lost cause.

Thomas was reading his book until, he saw a girl at him. He smiled at her and waved to her back. "Hello," he said to her kindly closing the book. He walked towards her and said, "I'm Thomas, whats your name?" The third year loved meeting new people it made him less worry about the terrible weather.

Blinking at Neptune with wide eyes, Sabel cautiously got to his feet, pulling his bag up with him. He was relieved she hadn't fallen down with him; he would never have heard the end of that one. But this time, he did have something to say as he reached back and almost yanked his wand out of his backpack with agitation.

"My backpack?! Who was the one who put their hands in my pockets? What did you expect me to do? Let you rummage around in ..."

And that's when he saw the boy coming towards them. If he had indeed blanched with Neptune's latest trick, he had now regained his color and then some as his words trailed off in utter embarrasement.

She seemed to look like a intelligence decent girl compared to most of the girls in the school.
