Standing before are two very strong and impassible metal doors that form an obstacle that separates you from the outer world. Meant to keep the unruly students (no offense) in and any unwanted strangers out, the gates always remain locked, except for in the cases of Hogsmeade weekends. | |

The groundskeeper's hut was a bit crowded, so Tate continued past the hut and away from the lake and general busyness of the grounds. He could take his walk without Masterson; he'd just thought seeking out the man's company wouldn't be entirely unpleasant.
He paused as the front gate and stared through the slats down the hill.

Neptune eyed Mr. Headmaster UP and DOWN, deciding her mother would very much disapprove of his slouchy stance. But, Neptune's mother was HERE so she turned around and mimicked him his lazy position.

An audience!! Neptune BEAMED brightly and once again, approvingly at him. He might be old and uncuddly, but he was proving to be useful.
She wiggled her fingers at him before taking her wand in her right hand, and making a CLEAN wave, with the incantation, "PAPILIO!!!" TWO brightly colored purple butterflies came from her wand and fluttered about.
Neptune GIGGLED and twirled around trying to catch her little butterflies.
"And THEN, Professor Durskurk taught us how to use the Cruciatus curse!" Her silly butterflies weren't coming DOWN to HER or she'd show him THAT too! "You just have to feel really hateful and chuckle evilly and say 'crucio'. I'll show you if you'd be so kind as to grab one of those?" Neptune POINTED at her naughty butterflies and stomped her foot impatiently. HMPH! | |
