Oh no, no, no. Destiny could not eat anymore cupcakes. She was actually tired of them. How many did she eat already, three..four. 'No thanks Professor. I already had one.' Well, she wasn't going to tell her how many she actually had. They were to make her happy anyway. 'We're just glad you like them.'

"Well thank you, very much, I'll be sure to share them with the staff..."

Yeah...

Right...

*snicker*

"Come visit again." She said holding the door open for them... and as soon as they'd be gone... so would the cupcakes... so much for her diet!

A bobcat patronus with the Headmaster's voice bounded into her office. Great... Tate wanted to see her... he much have smelled her cupcakes... poo.

Share them with the staff? But they made them for her! Not for the others. Especially, not for Lawson. Maybe they weren't good enough and she just wanted to get rid of them. Evelyn was no cook, but she thought they turned out pretty good. Well, they looked good that was for sure. She had no idea about taste.

Nodding, and slightly crestfallen, she stood up and walked slowly towards the door, smiling sweetly. "We will, and I can't wait for runes class." she said, completely honest about that. Runes was one of her favorite classes, if not her favorite. DADA came close to it though.

"Have a wonderful...day..." Though her words were taken away when a, patronus?, came bounding into the office. It was, extremely fascinating, and she didn't really hear the words it said. She was more focused on the actual patronus than anything. What would hers look like if she could achieve one? Cute like the bobcat? Or maybe it would be big like a dragon! Or...or a snake! Or better yet...a basilisk!! "Bye Professor."

Smiling, and lost in thought, she decided maybe she'd head to the library and look up anything on a patronus. Maybe then eventually she would be able to cast one sooner or later. Probably later, but still...okay no. Studying later. Right now, there were more important things. Like scheming stuff for Rex and Kay. Or Lawsguini.

Destiny nodded. They were her cupcakes so she could share with whomever she wanted! Hmm, maybe on her next visit they would have something different than cupcakes! Maybe like a cake or..pie. No, no pie. 'Sure, we'll visit again.' Hopefully they never had to visit because they were in trouble, but the way this term has starting, it was looking more and more likely.

Standing up and heading to the door, Destiny stopped when she saw that patronus. Kittttiiiieeee patronus! Actually it wasn't a kitty, but it still had a tail and whiskers. A kitty. Hopefully Lupa wasn't in trouble or anything.. 'Bye Professor.' She left the office thinking about what her patronus would look like.

Reese ran her fingers through her hair as she walked up to the office door of her Head of House. She was thinking of all the possible things that Lupa could say once she broke the news that she didn't know WHERE her badge was. The only thing that made her feel sick to her stomach was that Lupa was going to think she was such a horrible Prefect for losing her badge.

After standing in front of the door for what seemed like hours when it was actually only minutes, she raised her hand and knocked three times on the door.

"Come in!" Alessia's voice called.

'Professor Lupa, I think I've lost my badge' No, that wasn't the right way to put it because 1) Reese KNEW she lost her badge and 2) she didn't feel like coming straight out with that statement would make her feel good about the situation. She slowly began to rock back and forth on her heels as she stared at the door in front of her, waiting to be called in.

It didn't take long before she heard Lupa's voice and before opening the door, she took in a deep breath. It was alll going to be okay. Lupa wouldn't be too mad...hopefully. She finally opened the door and headed inside the office. "Hello Professor Lupa," she greeted her Head of House with a grin. "I need to, err, talk to you about getting a new badge."

Nicoletta walked up to Professor Lupa's office door. It was closed. Probobly someone in there then. she slid down the wall and took a seat on the floor by the door while she waited for Phyre. Nicoletta pulled out a book and started to read it.

Phyre came to a stop beside Nicoletta. "It's not open?" she asked, and, without waiting for an answer, she slid down to sit beside her. But, instead of reading a book, she took the time to examine the pleats in her skirt, how they endlessly repeated... And hid the spandex shorts beneath them seamlessly.

"A... new badge?" She said standing and turning to a drawer. "Did you lose it? Or break it?" She asked.

"No I guess she's talking to someone. We can wait a few minutes though." Nicoletta replied. She turned back to her book, almost finished.

"Neither," Reese quickly responded. "I mean...I lost it, but..." There was no good way of explaining what had happened. "I don't lose things that easily, Professor. I've lost a few notes here and there, but I would never lose anything like a badge. And I most definitely didn't break it," she explained. So where did it go? She had NO IDEA!

"You see, I got injured. Badly injured. All I remember was leaving the sleepover for something, and then Jack and Torin found me in the entrance hall. I don't remember anything that happened during that time, and I had my badge at the sleepover, I was found in the entrance without it," she told Lupa. "Soooo..." She didn't want to say that she lost it, but there was no evidence other wise to say something different. "I guess I lost it," she added.

"Hmmmm," she said and pulled out a badge from the drawer. "I want you to discuss this with the headmaster." She said and handed her the prefect badge. "I think he should know about this." She told her.

Reese watched Lupa as the Professor pulled an extra badge out of her drawer. Thank goodness she had another one! It was always a good thing Professor were prepared. "He knows," she told Lupa. "Well, by what Jack told us, he knows what is happening. I'm not the only one that's been hurt, you know?" Did Lupa KNOW what was going on? Hmm. "The Prefects, Head Boy, and Head Girl all had a meeting early this afternoon and Jack notified us that Hogwarts is going under a lockdown since students are getting injured. That's all I really know." She wished she knew WHO had all gotten injured, but all of what she knew was what Jack told them.

She bit her lower lip as she thought about what else her boyfriend had notified them about. Then it hit her that Jack had mentioned her badge had been found. HOW could she have forgotten that? Geez, it's been such a long day for her to forget that. This most definitely called for a 2 hour nap. "I, uh, I just remember Jack telling us that a few items had been found near the forest during one of the Care of Magical Creatures lesson," she explained. "I can't believe I just remember this, but my badge had been found...along with Cela's wand." she paused for a moment before adding, "The Headmaster hasn't given me my badge back, obviously, and I don't know when he will. So I might still need a new one." There was NO way she was going another day without a badge.

"Well, you just keep this one," She patted the new badge, and trying not to sound worried she said "Maybe you should... have a buddy, like... someone to be with you at all times, so you don't get hurt. And the moment you find out who it is, you come straight to me. They'll regret ever hurting my prefect..." She smiled at her and put her hand on the girl's shoulder. "Be safe Reese," she said and winked at her.

Reese looked at Professor Lupa, and then looked down at the shiny badge. She nodded her head to show that she would keep that one. It would STAY on her robes until she went to bed, and then she would place it somewhere where no one could get to it. She wasn't not going to loose another badge! "A buddy? Hmm, I never thought about that. I'll look into finding someone," she responded. "Yes, Professor. I'll come to you if I find out who's been doing this." Of course, she would go to Lupa after she told the Headmaster since Jack had told the Prefects to go straight to Tate if anything happened.

She looked up at Lupa when the woman placed her hand on her shoulder. "I will be safe," she replied with a faint smile. Or at least, she would try her best to be safe.

Since she could have sworn she heard voices outside the office a little bit ago, she decided it was about time she headed out so someone else could have time to talk to Lupa. "Well, I should get going. I want to take a little nap before I have to start studying for my NEWTs," she announced. "Thanks for the new badge, Professor."

"No problem, sweetheart." She said to her prefect as she escorted her out.

Sapphyre poked Nicoletta as Professor Lupa led a prefect out, smiling. She stood and blushed slightly in embarrassment, smoothing out her skirt and smiling at the prefect with the shiny badge. She wanted to be a prefect, when she was old enough... It seemed cool.

Nicoletta stood up and put her book away. She took a deep breath and took a step closer to Phyre. Her legs were shaking slightly and her hands fidgeted nevpusly. She remembered what she had read about people that lied, they refused to look you straight in the eyes among other things. She took note of those and went over the list of what not to do, so she wouldn't come across as a lier. Besides, it wasn't really lying, just not quite saying everything.

"Ladies... How may I help you?" She said leaning against the door frame.

Nicoletta smiled at the Professor and took a deep breath. "We were, umm, wondering if we could t-talk to you about the, er, disapperances that have been going on." deep breath.

Kazimeriz's qilin patronus came lumbering up, the silver misty creature blowing silver smoke.

It spoke to Professor Lupa:

"Good afternoon, Alessia. I am taking several of your snakelets to the Room of Requirement. It seems that they have a taste for pretending to darkness... and I intend that they learn what truly entails. As their Head of House, I urge you to join us immediately. I am not in the best of moods." The ominous statement delivered, the qilin disappeared.

More? Merlin, this was getting out of hand. "Alright..."

"I can tell you that nothing is coming in from the outside, my dear, all I can say is we'll increase security around Hogwarts." She said unsure of what to say. "And Miss Riddle will be dealt with."

...

She knew that patronus. Papa Valon... Oh no... "Alright girls, it seems I am wanted somewhere else." She said to the two trying not to let on that she was upset. "See you in class..." And ran out of the office.

"Well," Nicoletta said sighing to Phyre. "That right there would be classified as an EPIC FAIL" she slid down the wall again and crossed her arms. "Aby other Professor you'd like to go see?"
