"Ok thanks again" said Violet and she went down to the common room to write.

Grace walked into the dormitry. She walked to her bed and threw her bag on her bed and sat down. Her parents didn't write though they promised.
She missed home. Everyone was nice here but she didn't really find friends.
At home she had many friends but she had to leave them behind because they werde Muggles.

Elizabeth sat on her bed thinking quietly. So far she had no luck at Hogwarts school and was beginning to think she would be a lot better off at Beauxbatons or something but no her parents had to stick her in Hogwarts. She loved it here because she was away from her family annoying her all the time but she did miss them.

Grace noticed another girl being in the dormitry and she looked like she could be her age.
Grace gathered all her courage. "Hello", she said softly.

Elizabeth looked up to see a girl talking to her. "Hi, sorry I have to be somewhere. Maybe we can talk later" Elizabeth replied trying not to hurt the girl's feelings as she got up off her bed and walked toward the door. She starteed walking down to the common room.

Well that wasn't a good beginning Grace thought to herself. After a while she decided to go to the lake. She didn't want to sit around and do nothing. So she stood up and walked down slowly.

Iris decided that whilst she was waiting for that kid, whose name she never picked up, she might as well get that Charms homework done. She took out the parchment and quickly read through the questions. They seemed simple enough.

15 minutes later, Iris had answered all of the questions. She looked at the practical task...

SHOES! Who didn't want MORE shoes? hehe. Iris opened her trunk and took out the shoes that she'd worn on the train. Satine seemed to like them - So now she'd be able to have a pair or six. hehe.

She put the pair of shoes on her bed and took out her wand. She pointed it at the shoes and prayed to Merlin that she wouldn't do an Aaron and spontaneously combust the shoes. That would be bad. Very, Very bad indeed.

"Gemino!" Iris focused on making 2 more shoes, and frowned at the fact that there was only one shoe produced ... Maybe you had to just cast on one at a time? ... Hmmm.

Iris picked up the duplicated left shoe, and frowned again ... It looked AWEFUL. This really wasn't like her. She'd known this charm last year, showed it off to Cartwright. Why didn't she get it now? ... Hmm.

Try again.

Iris focused on the right shoe. "Geminio!" Glow. Glow. Sparkle. Other magical happenings. WHEEE! Iris grinned as a second right shoe appeared, bright, shiny and NEW. Wicked.

She put the right shoes to one side, and focused on the left shoe. "Geminio!" More glow. More sparkle. More light. More other magical happenings. She gingerly picked up the duplicate and studied it.

Perfect.

Iris smiled to herself, chucking the old pair into the trunk and pairing the new ones back together. They looked like they were newly bought from New Look. Satine WILL be happy. Iris picked them up and left the dorm, hoping to find Satine somewhere so that she could give her the duplicate shoes.

" House elves! I read about those a bit ago." Loretta quickly followed Nella." Yep let's go." She added with a grin

Elizabeth ran into the dorm and fell on her bed. She was so angry with herself for not thinkin of something before. She drew the curtains and closed her eyes trying not to think of Conan.

Violet came up the girls dormitory she noticed the girl left so put the letter on the bedstand it read:
Dear Fallon,
I'm not sure if you remeber me. I'm Violet Riddle i met you last year. You were with Evan i believe. Speaking of him I saw him with this girl Marie. Somethings up I think there going out. I can't believe Evan would do that. I thought he would be heart broken that your gone like everyone else is. Anyway we have a new headmaster. Headmaster Tate i haven't met him yet.I also hope i make it on the team for quidditch. I just wanted to update you, mainly about Evan. How's Florida?

Marie was sitting on her bed staring at her flowers from Evan instead of doing her Charms homework. She knew she really needed to get her homework done but she just couldn't take her eyes off the flowers. Looking up she noticed Violet putting a piece of parchment on someones elses bedside table.
"Hey Violet, what's up?" Marie still felt bad that she had sort of blown Violet off the other day to hang out with Evan, maybe now she could make it up to her.

Violet turned around "Hey Marie I'm good who's the flowers from?" said Violet

"Evan gave them to me. I was having a bad day the other day so he gave them to me to cheer me up. So what you doing over there?" she said pointing to the table that clearly was not next to her own bed.

fair enough thought Violet "Ohh Evan? Oh I was just writing to someone" said Violet akwardly making sure she didn't say who.

"Yeah, you know Evan, he's a great friend." Friends, yeah that's all they were, friends, for now anyway. She was writing a letter? That reminded Marie, she needed to write to her mum and tell her how things were going at school.

"So, who was the cute boy you were with in the common room earlier? I noticed you talking to him when I walked through on my way in here,"

"Yeah he's a good friend to some people, but he might be something more to others" said Violet looking at Marie supiciously

"Oh Conan? He's my boyfriend" said Violet

"Yeah maybe, wait, what do you mean he might be something more to others?" Oh no, did he have a girlfriend that Marie didn't know about. She considered him her best friend, why wouldn't he tell her if he had a girlfriend.

"He's your boyfriend? Wow, lucky you," she said with a smile when Violet told her who Conan was. Marie was happy for Violet but she was sad at the same time. She was really starting to like Evan and now she finds out he might have a girlfriend. She looked back over at her flowers and remembered how happy she felt when he gave them to her.

"Oh i think you know" said Violet

"Yeah he's sweet" said Violet

"You think I know what? That he might like someone more than a friend? He hasn't said anything to me about liking anyone." If Evan liked someone else he never told her anything about it.

Violet closed her eyes "well maybe he secretly likes" Violet opened her eyes as she said "Fallon"

"Who's Fallon?" she asked as she felt a sudden lump in her throat. This was the second time Violet had mentioned Fallon when talking to or about Evan and she still did not know who the girl was. Was she Evan's girlfriend? 'He's just your friend, he can like whoever he wants to' she told herself as she sat there staring at the flowers again.

"A girl who used to go here. I saw them and they looked like they would make the cutest couple" said Violet

'So Fallon doesn't go to school here?' she thought. That made her feel a little better, but not much. "Oh, where did she go?" Now Marie started to wonder if Fallon was Evan's girlfriend. Just because she didn't go to school here didn't mean they couldn't still be a couple. Now she was feeling a little stupid for acting the way she did around Evan. From now on she would just be his friend, nothing more. If he wanted her to know about Fallon then he would tell her, hopefully.

"Florida i feel bad for her i think its a muggle school" said Violet

"She has to go to a muggle school now? I would hate if I had to go to a muggle school after being here." Smiling a little to herself she was kind of happy that Fallon was so far away. Maybe that meant there wasn't anything going on with her and Evan now. Maybe they were just friends like she was with him. Maybe she still had a chance of becoming more than friends with him. Her smile started to return, she didn't want to think sad things anymore, she wanted to be happy.
