Dylan hobbled up to the dorms. He had decided he would be leaving the crutches up by his bed. They were the most uncomfortable things ever. He could walk without them. He threw them onto his bed. And headed underneath his bed. With a tap of his wand a compartment opened. Suddenly he was blasted with a splash of cool fresh air, and the slight whiff of pee. He shook his head and pulled out his crup puppy. "Hey Artie," he smiled, curling up on the floor to play with his puppy. "Wanna go for a walk in a bit?" He let the little puppy lick his face.

Dylan reached into the main compartment of his suitcase and pulled out a treat. It was quickly snapped up by the puppy.

Diggy still sucking on his sugary treat looked over when a boy hobbled into the room and then pulled out a crup from Merlin knows where. "Who's your friend mate?" he asked.

Quidditch tryouts. Merlin they were gruelling.

Oliver stumbled into the dorms and made a staggered b-line for his bed, not paying attention to anyone else in the room. He collapsed onto the soft mattress and sighed. He was going to sleep well tonight. And no nightmares about mutant butterfly-men were going to disturb his slumber.

He lay on his back looking upwards and frowned. Why oh why had he decided to try out during OWL year!? As if it wasn't stressful enough. He groaned and turned onto his side to have a look around the dorms, spotting little Dillon sucking on a sugar quill. He smiled drowsily. "Hey Dillon. You feeling better, bud?" Cos...of course, Oliver hadn't seen the boy since the Ketchup Incident. heh.

Dylan turned around at the sound of a voice. His eyes widened. Someone was actually in here with him. "Um his name is Artie," he smiled. "Please don't tell anyone. It's against Ministry laws to have a full-tailed crup." He hadn't needed to have his tail chopped off, he didn't live near muggles, but he was scared they would take Artie away from him.

He looked up at the sound of Oliver's voice. He sounded like a smaller version of his dad. It tugged at his heart slightly, he missed his dad terribly. "I'm fine." he told him. "No thanks to you waving around that ketchup bottle around like that." he threw at him hotly. He wasn't really upset and frankly he was already over it, but he still wanted Oliver to know he had been upset about it.

Diggny snickered. Someone actually thought he would tattle on someone. That was funny to him. "No worries. I'm not a snitch, I'm usually the one in trouble." He looked at the crup, he had never seen one with its tail still on. It was really cute. "I'm Dillon, but you can call me Diggy. And who might you be?" he asked him. Might as well make some friends while he was here.

"Ok good," Dylan smiled. He offered his hand to the younger boy, "I am Dylan too. Dylan Denver. I don't have a nickname. Diggy is easier than Dillon. So I shall call you Diggy. Snazzy." He might have to clamber off the floor for this interaction. He picked up Artie and placed him on the bed with him. "So a troublemaker? Interesting."

He smiled at Dylan. "Well I'm Diggy Greenwood. Or you can call me Digs if you prefer. Well you could have a nickname. What do you like to do?" He asked him. All the names he had to remember it was nice to work with nicknames. "Well its not like I set out to be a troublemaker, trouble just seems to be lurking around a corner and then it pounces on on me and then I get yelled at and me and JoJo are mucking out the kennels or the dragonkeep." Though him and JoJo loved being in the dragon keep. "What do you do?" Everyone did something.

Dylan shook his head, "I am not one for nicknames. I've never had one growing up. And it seems a tad pointless now." Well except Gold's nickname for him. Gold was an exception. To every rule in the book.

Oh so he was one of those types. He had read about them. Trouble was a heat seeking missile and Diggy was on fire. "What do I do? I act, sing, play piano. Oh and I read. I have started reading comic books recently."

He shook his head, "Never too late for a nickname, but thats cool. I can call you Dylan. My dad hates that we call me twin JoJo. Its the only son he got to name so he likes saying JoJo's whole name." he rattled. And he was just getting started. Diggy was a worse chatter box than his big brother Lucas.

Diggy nodded his head like he actually cared about singing, acting or the piano. That was the fluffy stuff that Willow did, and while he loved to watch his sister preform. She was poetry in motion, but thats as far as it went for him. "Sounds amazing," he said with a sarcastic drip and a twinkle in his eye. He was just playing with the guy, but he did perked up when he heard comic book. "I love Superheros." he told him. "Me and JoJo once wore some Superman costumes for a whole year. She had to curse them off of us." he giggled.

"Ah see I am set in my ways," Dylan smiled, "I am not like Freddie. Who has a nickname, and he is only 1." Or there abouts. Dylan couldn't actually recall when Freddie was born. But it was like a year ago.

"It really is," he smiled. He loved it. But he could tell the younger boy did not. The dulcet tone of his voice gave it away. He didn't have to lie though. Silly little boys. "Superman? Marvel all the way. Captain America and Iron Man. Far better choices of superheroes."

Oliver smirked at Dillon. “How was I to know you have such a ridiculous phobia?” He rolled over onto his back, placing his hands behind his head. “Is it like a blood thing? Your so squeamish about blood that even the sight of ketchup makes you ill?” He grinned at this thought.. and the fun that could be had armed with this information. Maybe he should show Dillon his impressive eel scars. hehe.

He heard Dillon chatting to another boy in the room. He turned onto his side and propped himself up on his elbow and watched them converse. The boy appeared to have a crup. “Cute crup.” he murmured with a nod on the boy's direction. As they talked, his mind began to wander. Man, he was knackered.

He wasn't going to argue with the boy nicknames. The boy didn't want one and Dillon's brain had actually moved on from the subject anyways.

A boy that fancied about singing all day was a bit weird, but there were boys at the posh school Willow went to, so Diggy wasn't surprised. "Oh posh it Captain America? Are you serious, and Iron Man. Now the movie was good but if we are talking about the best superheroes or even villains they don't even come close. The Green Lantern could make mince meat out of Captain America." he countered. If there was one thing Diggy loved it was superheroes and comic books, and action figures and video games.

His hazel eyes burned as he looked at his uncle. He didn't like being made fun of. "I am not afraid of blood, and I don't have a phobia I just hate ketchup." he shot back. He wasn't about to tell Oliver his fear. He knew how the mind of a deviant worked, and if Oliver was thinking the same thing Diggy would have thought if someone shared fear with him, it was best not to let Oliver in on that little secret. "I see you just shoved off after you left me in the hospital wing." he added.

As much as Oliver looked and sounded like his dad, he wasn't Nathan Greenwood.

Dylan smiled, "Thanks." Another kid had entered. That now put it at 2 people that knew about Artie. Man it was growing. And not in a good way. Darn crup and his tail.

"Oh come on," Dylan shook his head, "Hulk would rip the green lantern apart." Shredded. "And Iron Man rocks. His ideas, though very muggle, are quiet interesting. Creating a suit, even though he has no powers. Sounds kinda like a squib, trying to learn magic." He chuckled, "Yeah Captain America is kida nancy-ish." He reckoned if all his superheroes came across all of Diggy's his would win. Noone could take on the entire collection of the X-Men.

He looked at him like he was crazy. "What, Green Lantern would blow him into crup kibble." He bit off the end of his sugar quill and chewed on it. "I mean Rouge could take him." And she was a girl, not that he thought girls weren't capable of kicking butt. He had his aunt Tomasina and his sister Paris as prime examples of girls kicking serious tail, and Diggy knew first hand about Paris. He had been on the receiving end of plenty of her beatdowns. "Now Tony Starks is amazing, his my brother's idol. And frankly the man is bad. A total gear head genius, but Iron Man is just too easy to beat." Well he was in Dillon's opinion.

"Hulk is basically indestructible," Dylan said, shaking his head, "Noone could blow him into anything." He smiled, "Tony Stark is amazing. His comeback after Jack Hammer's complete obliteration of him, is overly powerful. Something one should aspire to, if it ever came about." He shook his head, "Oh no. Not too easy at all. Has his weaknesses, yes. But not too easy to beat."

He nodded his head. "Yeah the Hulk is indestructible, but Bruce Banner is still human and he is utterly destructible. That's the mistake people make. Go after Banner, not the Hulk." At least thats what Diggy would have done. Diggy had a spark in his eye. "My brother could beat him. He's working on some really cool stuff and I know he could him. Not that he wants to be a superhero. Well not anymore" JoJo measured himself against Tony Stark even though it was a fictional character.

Man, Diggy could be tetchy at times. It seemed that whenever Oliver opened his gob around the boy, he would snap. He hadn't even said anything bad, right? His question was perfectly feasible given the lad's reaction to the ketchup... even if it was asked with amusement. But come aaaan! A phobia of ketchup? It was hilarious!

He yawned and stretched as the boy spoke, then blinked as he focused on him again “So.. you're telling me that you had a panic attack –a panic attack and passed out because you just hate ketchup?” He asked thickly then chuckled. “I think that's a phobia, mate. A pretty bad one at that.”

He shrugged, crinkling his nose a little. “Yeah. Sorry about that.” He said genuinely. Cos really? Leaving the kid was like that was pretty bad, but hospitals gave Oliver the willies. “You were well and truly out of it and I had to be somewhere. There was little point in hanging around. I'll buy you a Butterbeer in Hogsmeade to make up for it.” And becuase Nathan would be after his hide if he knew he just dumped Dillon in the hospital wing and left without at least seeing he was ok first.


He kept looking over at the crup. Something wasn't quite right but he was so tired his brain seemed to have gone into meltdown and couldn't work out what it was. It took him about ten minutes to realise it was because the thing had a tail. “Thing's got a tail.” He blurted out as soon as it popped into his twitchy brain. Meh.. not that he was bothered, he was just surprised. He waved his hand as if to say 'nevermind'.

And they were talking about... comic book heroes. Oliver wasn't really into that sort of thing so he lay back and listened vaguely. Shame it was too early to just roll over and go to sleep.

"Yeah. But when he sees someone he'd go Hulk on them. You could only get Bruce if it was a surprise attack. Bruce Wayne on the other hand. All human all the time," Dylan smiled. He shook his head, "I think I could beat Tony Stark. Depends on what subject though. I am not mechanically minded, but I could beat him at things like English."

Dylan nodded, "Yep he has a tail. I don't live near muggles, so I didn't see the point in having it cut." He shrugged, and starting stroking Artie, as the pup curled up on his lap.

He was going to strangle him, thats what he was going to do. He started to get up off his bed. He could take Oliver. He was all wizard, with no concept of muggle fighting. Diggy on the other hand was a natural at muggle fighting. Nevermind that him and JoJo were always pulling pranks on people that they needed to know how to fend of a attack by an anger victim. His hand curled into a rock hard fist. Paris' stern face flashed before him. She would kill him for fighting. Let alone like a muggle. Not that she was above punching someone in the nose, but it was more fun for her to beat someone with her wand.

"I think you just might keep your mouth shut about that," he said hotly as he held himself back from pouncing on Oliver and rolling him up in his own curtains and shoving him in a broom closet for a few days. If Oliver were smart and Diggy prayed he was, he would drop the subject and let it go. That not Diggy didn't mind getting in trouble, he just wasn't in the mood for a detention. They were long and boring and just highly impractical. Basically a waste of his time and talent. "You could have at least stayed to make sure I was alright. I mean I didn't even know where I was when I woke up." He obviously had no concept of family. Diggy would never have left one of his brothers or sisters by themselves when they had passes out. "Maybe I should have Paris mention that to grandpa." Yeah it was a cheap shot, but Diggy was still upset with Oliver and plus he was trying to embarrass him by brining up his fear of tomatoes.

He rolled his eyes at Oliver's last statement. "Nothing gets past you does it Sherlock," Honestly Diggy thought he saw smoke coming out of Oliver's ears as he tried to think why the crup looked so funny. Diggy wasn't usually this mean spirited, and his mother would be ashamed of him, but Oliver was just touching a raw nerve with Diggy. And to make it all the worse Oliver didn't even seem to know that he was rubbing Diggy the wrong way.

He threw Oliver a hard look before he returned back to his conversation with Dylan. "He would only go all Hulk on them if he were mad. Keep calm and you keep the Hulk at bay." He countered. "Batman is ok when he has his gadgets, but take him out of his element and he is useless." He didn't really like Batman. "Oh yeah during a battle for the control over the universe and you would sit Tony down to a essay test. Yeah that would work," he giggled. If Dylan thought he could beat one of the brightest minds in the world with a essay test well then Diggy was going to laugh.

He nodded. "We used to live near muggles, but we moved out to Surry after me and my brother got our wands. It got to be too much magic going on to explain it away." He had to smile. Him and JoJo got to be too much to explain away.

Evan got up from his long sleep. He looked like silly for a second and remembered his thoughts from last night. Marie. Right. He sighed. He needed to do something to get his mind off her. He dug in his chest and saw a parchment of charms. Homework... right... yet with another sigh, he decided to do the practical part first. He had to go to the library to answer the questions.

Thinking about what to duplicate, his eyes caught his Chelsea key chains. It didn't have a key chained, just a lot of Chelsea stuff. He decided to dupşicate it and gift it to Marie. That way he could ensure her to be a Chelsea fan. 'Sides, who wouldn't want it besides the Manchester United fans who were obviously in a wrong way? Taking out his wand, he tapped it and said "Geminio." Nothing happened. Sigh. When could he get this charm? Tapping it more fiercefully again, he half shouted "GEMInio!" Another one appeared. He eyed it for a minute or two, expecting it to disappear. But it didn't. So this meant he had succeeded..? Weeeee! A huge smile appeared on his face despite all the nervousness of yesterday. He happily got down to the common room to gift it to Marie. His first smoothly duplicated object ever.

Oliver smiled drowsily at the boy and his crup and nodded. “Nah. I agree. No need to cause the poor thing pain if you don't live near muggles. The Ministry are too strict about some things.” He watched the wee thing. They seemed to make nice faithful pets to wizards. “What's his name?” He asked looking back at the boy.


Oliver was completely oblivious to Diggy starting to move to.. punch his lights out? o.O Eh? He hadn't actually done anything to warrant such an overreaction. He covered his mouth as he yawned again and stared up at the ceiling finding shapes in the cracks like he was looking up at the cloudy sky. He traced the lines of a shape that looked disturbingly like his dad. He crinkled his nose. Couldn't even escape the man at Hogwarts. He averted his eyes from it, choosing instead to look at his snot green curtains. Man, he felt so fatigued right now. His whole body was aching with tiredness but he was so worked up after Quidditch that he wasn't sure his mind was going to allow him to sleep...

He looked over at Diggy when he spoke up again and raised his eyebrows when he saw the aggressive look on the lad's face.. and the angry body language.

Blink.

Blink.

Bewilderment.

“Alright. Calm down, Midget Boy.” He said with a mixture of exasperation and amusement. “I was just teasing you.” What was wrong with all the kids in this school? He groaned and looked away from the ranting boy. Didn't he just apologise? Didn't he? “Could have just left you on the floor in the Great Hall.” He mumbled. But no, Oliver struggled under the boys weight as he assisted him to the hospital wing and Oliver HATED hospitals! He stared at the small boy when he said he was going to tell his grandpa. Oliver's dad. He shook his head. “I apologised. What more do you want me to say?” He asked flatly. It upset him that Diggy would use that. He knew how he and Emmanuel didn't see eye to eye. Dillon was like his sister, Paris – spoilt and indulged. They had everything they could ever want handed to them on a golden plate.

He swung his long legs over the side of the bed and stumbled to his feet, his head aching with the sudden rush of blood. Normally he wouldn't let such things get to him but he was tired.. and stressed. “I think.. I think I need some air.” he mumbled and stumbled out of the common room clutching the side of his aching head.

If there was one thing that fired up a Greenwood it was a crack about their height. All of them were short, well except for Lucas, the boy was over 6 feet tall and no one knew way. Diggy was taller than his mom and both his sisters at 5 ft 4 inches tall. "Don't call me midget if you like your nose where it is," he told him hotly. He wasn't short, he was average height for a 13 year old girl. He wanted Oliver to say a lot of things, or rather not say a lot of things, but he was already too mad to string together a witty comeback so he just looked at him.

Well crup. He had chased Oliver away, a part of him wanted to smile and lean back, but that's what Paris would have done, man why did he have a lot of her tendencies? But Diggy wasn't mean spirited like that and watching Oliver walk out of the room made him feel like crud. His shoulders slumped and suddenly he didn't want to talk about superheroes anymore. He sighed and went to go after Oliver and apologize. He didn't want the guy mad at him, and he really wouldn't have tattled on Oliver, he just wanted him to stop making fun of him about the tomato thing. It was a sore spot for him, and everyone but Oliver seemed to know that. He grabbed his hoodie and headed out to follow Oliver and explain himself.

"Be back," he told Dylan.

"Nah that would be stupid," Dylan chuckled. "But if I was involved in a battle to control the universe, I would have to think of something. Thankfully it is never going to happen. I don't think I would fit in very well in that sort of situation."

"I live in Oxfordshire. Actually the majority of the Denver clan do. Surrey has one of the best theme parks in the world. Where abouts do you live?"

"His name is Artie," he smiled. "I named him after the boy king. Merlin sounded a bit stupid for a dog." He agreed with the lad. He didn't need to hurt his crup for no reason.

Diggy nodded with a giggle of his own. "Well you should alway be prepared for disaster you know. There's no harm in doing that, but it would be ugly if something happened and you didn't know how to survive. My dad used to take us on these survival things that muggles do. Before my dad meet my mom he was homeless for awhile, and I think he wanted to make sure we didn't have to go through something like that." he told Dylan somberly.

"We live in Uptown Court." NAthan Greenwood had been livid when he saw the house that his mother had bought. He would never in his life spend that spent of money, and he didn't like that Egypt had spent that much. It took him awhile to warm up to the house but once he did it was all gravy. It helped that he had an entire room for his piano where he could sit and play and play, the only person allowed in there was Paris. Dillon drew a total blank. "Um I don't know. We never use the muggle way to get there. We either floo or apparate." He told him honestly, and the estate was so big it was hard to tell where it ended. "Most of my mom's family lives in Africa. Well Ghana, that's where my mom is from. Its a really pretty place we went there when my mom.." his face clouded over. He stopped talking and looked away. He didn't want to talk about the death of his sisters. It would make him cry.

Oliver couldn't sleep but that was nothing unusual for the twitchy fifth year. Staring up at the ceiling, his listened to the soft snoring coming from one of the beds with a pout on his face.

He rolled onto his side and grabbed his wristwatch and squinted at the time. Almost midnight. He hauled himself off his bed and opened his trunk, shoving on a pair of skinny black jeans and a green t-shirt. He grabbed his hoody, pulled it on and headed quietly out the door.
