Someone was embarrassed, was it? Obviously amused by the sudden subject change, he opened his mouth to answer. But before he could even answer, Lavi was shouting again. Evan jumped back when something came close to pop his eyes out. What the--? But as his eyes gained focus again, he saw it was a butterfly, probably conjured by him. Phew. He gave a hysterical laugh like the ones given by the main scared character in horror movies. The butterfly reminded him that he'd better do some homework too. Later.

Chuckling at the large number which Lavi failed to pronounce, he said "I..? Um... nothing exciting like your new girlfriend." He winked to show to was only joking. There was a girl he was close to, but they were just friends for only now. No need to go in detail over a boring subject. He felt a little bad that Lavi had a lot to tell, and his life was empty besides Marie. He totally should interact with more people.

Classes... He really hadn't been to many classes. "Yeah, transfiguration was interesting." He couldn't really progress in that class, failing to conjure a butterfly. Not to mention the professor was way too enthusiastic. Lavi appeared to like her though, so he didn't voice his thoughts and failure. "I didn't go to defence too." And he didn't complain the least. He didn't like the professor and it had completely slipped out of his mind. Not much of a loss though. There would be more lessons. "What did you think about Muggle Studies?" he asked with a huge smile. He couldn't see Lavi there, but then again, he was too busy with the ball and some external forces. He could easily have missed him.
