Reese needed something that she could duplicate! Like, RIGHT NOW.

She strolled down the corridor, heading towards the Gryffindor Common Room. There was part of her that was hoping that she would run into Jack or he would walk out of the common room right when she got there, because she wanted to know if he had something she could duplicate.

As soon as the thought of Jack circled around her head, she got an idea! She stopped walking and then she looked down at the plastic ring on her right hand. That idea sounded like a good idea a second ago, but now she didn't want to do the charm on it. What if she messed up and the ring was RUINED? Nope, she wasn't going to do it.

Sighing, she continued to walk down the corridor. There was bound to be something she could duplicate, she just wasn't thinking hard enough.

Hmmmmmm.

She stopped walking when she came up to someone she would have never thought she would see alllll the way up here on the seventh floor. "Torin," she greeted him before taking a seat next to him on the ground. "Do you happen to have anything I could..." WAIT. Her brown eyes landed on her shoes and a large grin formed on her face. "I found something to duplicate!" She exclaimed, then she took both her shoes off and placed them in front of her on the ground.

She pulled her wand out of her robe pocket and then she coughed. Tapping her wand against her left shoe, she said, "Geminio." After the duplicate appeared, she clapped her hands. It was sad, though. That the duplicate wouldn't last too long. She would love to have another pair of those shoes!

"Geminio," she said again after tapping the right shoe with her wand. A duplicate of the right shoe appeared, then Reese took both duplicates and placed them next to the original pair of shoes. Hehe. They were soooo PRETTY!

"I should make another pair," she said with a grin. After staring at the duplicates, she took her wand and then tapped the one of the duplicated shoes and said, "Geminio." Another shoes appeared, then the Slytherin tapped the other duplicated shoe and said yet again, "Geminio." Now, she had SIX SHOES!

Four minutes passed, then the second pair of duplicates disappeared, then 2 minutes later the first pair of duplicates appeared. Now, the original pair of shoes were on the floor in front of her. "That was fun," she announced.

He looked up suddenly as he heard Upstead call his name. And suddenly she was sitting beside him. He smiled at her. He had actually wanted to talk to her anyway. Because he had news. He also was wondering if things were okay with her and Jack. Not that he would ask her. Because if she had no idea what he and Jack talked about, she would want to know if he asked her about it.

But she was just duplicating her shoes anyway, so she didn't know.

"Do you really want there to be more of those in the world?" he pointed at the shoes. They were hideous.

Reese leaned herself back against, then she placed her wand back safely into her robe pocket. "I would want more shoes like that in the world, because then I would have back-up if someone threw the first pair away," she responded. That was a very well stated reason.

She slowly turned her head to see what Torin had been drawing on his paper when she arrived and when she spotted the hearts, she giggled. "Hearts? Seriously? I didn't think manly men drew hearts," she commented. "And, what's that say?" She leaned in closer to read the writing that said 'T&B 4evr'. She knew right off that the 'B' didn't stand for Goldilocks.

"Brody," was the name that left her lips.

"Uh huh," he replied slowly while thinking that he could still easily throw all of those shoes out. But that would have to be another day. Unless he quickly grabbed them and ran off before she could stop him.

But he didn't really get the chance as she noticed the doodle that he made. "Um, this is nothing." He started trying to cover it, up, but she already saw what it said.

"How do you know that it's her? It could be someone else." Because for all Reese knew Brody was dating Jorma still.

Georgiana hadn't noticed a girl walking towards her, or else she would've pulled her legs back. She finally did spot her, but not soon enough, the girl tripped over her legs and fell onto the ground.

Oops.

Georgie bounced up and offered the girl a hand, "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't see you coming." oh great...that sounded LAME! She smiled apologetically, the girl looked like a first year too.

Fan-freaking-tastic. Now Georgie was causing injuries too 11 year olds. Oh what a sweet person...not. "Are you alright?" she asked concernedly gathering her thoughts, she was trying to make up for it now.

Sapphyre peeled herself up off the floor - she wondered, when she fell so much, why she had never learned to brace herself, but always ended up landing straight on her face - and nodded.

"Mhm, I'm fine," she replied, sighing. "I do that a lot, so don't worry. Normally, though, I trip over air." she laughed a bit. "So thanks, I would have tripped one way or another, but you gave me an excuse."

She took her hand once she had sat up and smoothed her skirt down, smiling as if it had never happened. She learned to forget about mishaps like this easily... Which was partially the reason she possessed many scars that she honestly could not explain. Her lips felt really warm, almost like... She lifted her other hand to her mouth. Yup. She had split the left side of her upper lip. Great. Oh well. She ignored it and shrugged. "I'm Sapphyre Black. Sorry for tripping over you."

NOTHING?

"I highly doubt that it's nothing," Reese commented. "I think it's something." It was definitely something juicy if Torin was trying to keep it from her. She scooted closer to Torin, so she could get a better look at the drawing that he seemed he was trying to hide from her.

As weird as it seemed, she thought those hearts were pretty well drawn for a guy!

"I don't know any other girl that has the first letter of her name as a 'B'," she stated. Yes, she knew Brody was dating Jorma, but that still didn't make her question Torin's drawing.

He rolled his eyes as she didn't just drop it. Because he didn't want her bugging him for doodling. Which was something he didn't do often, just so you know. It was just that he was happy.

"Okay, so maybe it is her." He shrugged. "What does it matter?" He didn't think he would just tell her the news. Because it was more fun drawing it out and making her go crazy.

Reese didn't like this. Not one bit. She just wanted to know if it WAS probably, not if it was 'maybe' her. "It matters to me, because I want to know if you two are planning on getting back together in the near future," she said. "I like seeing you happy and you are happy around Brody." That's why she now liked Brody. She made Torin happy, which made Reese happy.

"If you don't want to tell me," she spoke again. "Then I won't tell you my news." Hmph. That will show him!

Why did Reese have to be such a killjoy?

How could he torture her when she was being so nice? And he reallly appreciated what she was saying too, because well.. it showed how much she cared about him. So he would tell her. She was his best friend along with Brody after all.

"Okay, fine. We got back together earlier." YAY!

Reese had been humming the muggle Jeopardy song that got people really nervous until Torin had spilled the beans!

"You go back together? OHMYGOSH, Torin! I'm so happy for you two," she exclaimed before she pulled Torin into a hug, which was hard seeing as the both were sitting on the floor. It was much easier hugging people when they were standing up. "So, I'm taking it she broke up with Jorma," she added. "I sure hope the boy took it well." Knowing how her last two boyfriends took break-ups, she sure hoped Jorma wasn't like Jeremy or Lucas.

"Okay, I need to tell you my news now," she stated as she pulled Torin out of the hug. "This news is a little late and I'm sooo sorry it took a while for me to tell you, but a few weeks ago, well, maybe more like a week and a half ago, Jack and I were talking in the courtyard." She pulled the little plastic red ring off her right hand to show Torin. "This is like a pre-engagement ring," she explained. "He promised me that as soon as he got enough money to buy me a real ring, he would propose to me."

Wow. Suddenly he was being wrapped in an awkward hug. Why were hugs so weird when you were sitting down? He wasn't sure, but all he knew was that it was odd. "Thank you. Yes, we both broke up with people because we were ready.." Even though he had been a nervous idiot and almost ruined everything.

But now she was showing him a ring and talking about pre-engagement. Aww.... "Reese, I'm so happy for you!!" He grabbed her in a quick hug now. hehe. But then he remembered... he had gotten Jack mad at her. What if he made the boy so mad that he wanted his ring back?

Reese still felt bad for Gold and for Jorma. She was thinking about finding Gold and taking her out to Honeydukes to get some chocolate. Chocolate made break-ups less hurtful, didn't they? Not that she would know considering she has never been dumped by a guy. "I'm glad you two are happy," she said with a large smile. "But, hold on. When you say 'we were ready', does that mean you two dated people until you were ready to date each other?" Wow, that sounded weiiiird.

She placed the ring back on her back on. "I couldn't be happier," she told him. "Jack is definitely my Prince Charming." Not to mention, she was going to be Mrs. Fritzera in the future! She didn't know how long she was going to have to wait, but the wait was going to be worth it. She knew it.

He smiled at her but it sorta disappeared a little at her question. He had no idea how to answer her for sure. "Well, sorta. It's more complicated than that and we did like the people we dated. But yeah, she was waiting for me to be ready." And he hadn't wanted to wait too long that he lost her. So he made a move.

But aww, she was so cute with Jack. "That's so sweet." He laughed and then remembered that he had homework to do still. Because he needed to do his Charms practical. He took out his wand from his pocket.

But what on earth was he supposed to duplicate?

Shrugging, he tapped his left shoe with his wand and muttered, "Geminio." Then he tapped his right shoe and muttered, "Geminio." Now he had four shoes. YAY. hehe. Then he tapped one of Reese's shoes and said, "Geminio." And the same with another one. "Geminio." Now there were more pairs of shoes.

Too bad hers were hideous. But what could he do?

"Why would I put an ugly bag over my head?" he shook his head, "That was a stupid question." Parker never put anything ugly on himself. It would have to be the most expensive bag, at that. "But I'm bigger and faster than my rat." Which was true. Running in a ball couldn't be that hard. "I still didn't name my rat." he told her. Like she would care.

"Well thanks for looking out for me and my choice of words." he replied sarcastically. "I can tell you like bothering me." It could be his fault too, he did stop and talk to her at the lake, and he did want to see the Spirit Room. He would just stop giving her reasons to bother him, that is all. "Fine. What will I have to do if you win?" He really didn't want to know. Whatever she had planned, he knew would result in humiliation and possible germs.

"What else was there to do?" he shrugged. "You couldn't really do anything." He hoped she did not place all the blame on herself. She did whatever a normal kid would do, run. Parker would have ran too. "Good."

The smile disappeared as fast as it appeared. "I wasn't smiling." he retorted. "Why would I smile? I have no reason to smile."

Finally reaching the seventh floor, Parker stopped walking. He had no idea what they were looking for. "What are we supposed to do now?" he asked. She did tell him she knew where this was, didn't she?

"Me too, Vida. I missed you too." replied Cedric, lingering his benign fingers on his soft, cozy chicks. "I've been err, busy.. and miserably distressed," Cedric said, smiling at her gently then he hugged her this time. He had really missed his girlfriend. She ought to know what was happening with him these days and of course, he would tell her.

She felt her cheeks getting hot when his long but slender fingers touched them, caressing. He didnt look as much enthusiastic as he used tobe. What's wrong?

Vida looked up, "Busy I can understand. But distressed...why?" she asked softly as looking into his now sad eyes. The brightness was missed in his eyes. "What happened, Ced?" she hugged him tightly as kept looking at him with his arms around her which making her feel at home again.

Cedric wanted to lie, so that Vida wouldn't ask anymore about what had happened, what was wrong with him and such heartrending questions but he couldn't lie; he didn't want lying at his one and only love and of course, he is not a liar.

"My Dad has passed by just two days ago. I'm immensely sad. My Mom asks me to go home, and maybe she'll ask me too, to transfer to a magical institute in my home country. I'm leaving Hogwarts for now, just one week though so that I can attend my father's burial. I really love my father, I'm feeling resentful that he's gone, too soon." Cedric stated, hugging his girlfriend tenderly, tears slowly drifting from his eyes, across his cheeks and down to Vida's robe.

Thalia was really tempted to say 'to cover your ugly face' but she refrained. Now wouldn't be the best time to argue over whether his face was ugly or not. "That's the point. You would still lose to the rat though. It's harder to figure out how to run in a giant hamster ball then you think. Not that I've tried. Buuuut my little brother has," she drew the u out in the but longer than necessary just to get that point across. It was funny when Willie had tried. He was so daft sometimes. "Well, you need to name it. I just can't keep saying 'your rat' can I?" she pointed out, shaking her head.

She giggled. "I know, aren't you glad that I care?" she joked with sarcasm. Correcting him would just get better and better. "If you hadn't figured that out by now I'd be quite sad. You should have found that I enjoyed bothering you the first day we met," she explained. What a day that was. She ran into him in Diagon Alley. Literally ran into him. "You'll find out later," she smiled a wicked smile. That was going to be some fun. She needed to come up with something eviller than what was already processing through her head at the minute.

"I know, you're right." Like she could have taken on three grown men by herself. What were the chances of that happening? She didn't want to end up dead too.

"Don't deny it Parker Yorke," she teased. "I saw you smile right when I caught up with you. Now spill the details on why you were exactly smiling because it doesn't happen often you know," Thalia pointed out. Maybe she should record this? Just to show everyone that Parker Yorke does smile.

After climbing up another flight of steps and looking around she spotted the tapestry. "We're suppose to walk in front of that tapestry three times with our eyes closed concentrating on a place that we think of," she informed him, taking his hand. "Come on." She started to lead them over to the Barnabas and Barmy tapestry. It sort of surprised her that she was holding his hand. Oh who cares. It wasn't like she was actually holding his hand. Affectionately that is.

He looked confused. Seemed lost in his own thoughts for few minutes. Vida had been waiting patiently untill he gathered himself up to tell that... that really horrible news. OMG! His father died. It's sad, so sad. She didnt expect this and went speechless for few seconds.

"God, I'm So..sorry Ced.." she hugged him again and rubbing on his back soothingly to solace him from that really a big loss. "Mmmm..I know this's a hard time for you, a rough phase to cross with brave heart" she said softly, kept solacing him and feeling her own eyes welled up with tears when he started cry. OH..Ced. "I'm always here for you love." Vida didnt know whether to cry for his loss alone or to worry for his mom's request to get him back home. It would be painful for sure.

Reese was now half paying attention what Torin said, because she was thinking about the study session she was going to have to have to attend tomorrow. TOMORROW. She wasn't ready for the study session - not one bit. Though, as long as nobody asked her to help them with Astronomy, she was okay. Even if they did ask her, she could always get Gold to help them or Jack. Jack would be there, right? Him and Livvy were suppose to be attending.

As soon as she tuned back into what was happening around her, she noticed Torin had duplicated his shoes and her shoes. "Good job," she said with a soft smile. By the looks of it, Torin's duplicates were lasting much longer than hers were. Yay for him!

She took her eyes off her pairs of shoes to look at Torin, but her eyes actually landed on the Hufflepuff emblem on his robes. "Torin," she softly spoke. "I don't think I'm ready for the study session tomorrow. Jake is probably going to attend and Jack will be there..." She has definitely been pretending that Jake's dislike towards Jack wasn't effecting her too much, but maybe it was about time someone knew how she felt? Honestly, she wasn't sure she had to say much more, because the expression on her face explained it all.

He smiled proudly as she noticed his duplicates, though obviously she had been rather distracted, because he had made them over a minute before and she had been just sitting there staring into space for a little while.

But her next comment sorta helped him make sense of everything, though he still wasn't sure why it would matter that Jake and Jack would be at the study session together. "Um, call me stupid, but I have no idea why it matters if they are both there or not."

Torin had...no idea? Reese was forgetting the fact that Torin didn't hang around Jake. She pulled her knees up to her chest, then she wrapped her arms around her legs as she rested her head against her knees.

"You're not stupid. At least not in this situation you aren't," she replied. "Jake dislikes Jack." She knew most of it had to do with Jack's name. "I talked to him during Diagon Alley about why they couldn't get along and let's just say that talk didn't end up them being the greatest friends," she explained. She knew Jake probably wasn't going to start liking Jack anytime soon, but that didn't stop her from wishing they could get along, right?

"I just wish they could get along or - better yet - that Jake could get along with Jack," she sighed. "I know I'm just building up my hopes just to watch them all come crashing down later."

He looked at her curiously as she explained to him about Jake's issue with Jack, though he wasn't really sure what it was. And honestly he barely remembered Jake, seeing as he had only met him twice and the last time had been ages ago.

"And why doesn't Jake like him?" Because Jack was a rather likable guy in Torin's mind. Surely it was Jake that was more of an issue here than the Head Boy.

Cedric returned his girlfriend hug, whenever he's with her, he don't feel any remorse and sadness but what has happened with his life was just so heartbreaking. He knew that she would understand that he have to go home for a while and he also knew that she'd be always with him no matter what.

"Thank you, hon. I'm so fortunate that I have you as my girlfriend." Even though he was with Vida who was his own source of comfort and blitheness, he still wasn't feeling happy. He was sad for himself. He was so unhappy for his mom. Her mom has been really a strong woman ever since. He knew that they will surpassed this kind of typical struggles in people's lives. "I'd be gone for a week. I'll miss you."
