Cadence needed to tell someone. Something was going on and she wanted answers, she wanted help. Hogwarts wasn't supposed to be a scary place. Her letter to her parents could white. She quickly scrawled a letter to Ziva's brother's girlfriend, attached it to Arya's leg, and sent the owl on her way before running off to meet Professor Lawson.

Nikki walked up to the Owlery, rereading her many letters on the way. She had spent an hour and a half writing seven letters. Yes seven letters. One to her dads brother and his wife. One to her dads sister and his wife. One to James, her favorite cousin. One to Kimmy, her least favorite cousin/monster. One to Antonio, her five year old cousin. One to Alessia, her other five year old cousin. And of course, one for her daddy.

Reaching the top of the stair, she walked into the Owlery, and looked around. Now where was her owl. "Hey Skye! I need ya!" She yelled once she spotted the light brown owl.

Georgiana ran up to the Owlery, she was trying to look for Nikki, and why not send a letter to Cody in the mean time. The guy was ridiculous, always complaining she didn't reply to him fast enough. Though she certainly felt stupid walking around with a hot pink bag. But hopefully Nikki would like her gift. She smiled and bounded in, searching for Peg. Spotting a familiar blonde head of hair, with a smile Georgiana tip toed up behind Nikki. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" she shouted, holding out her gift in front of her towards her friend. A nice pink necklace and a new cute bag.

Nikki watched as Skye streached her wings before lazyily flying down towards Nikki. "About time." She said said chuckling. Skye hooted and stuck a leg out. "I've got a lot of letters," Nikki said as she began to tie her seven letters to the owls leg. "You deserve a great treat when you get to Italy." She finished tying the letters and was about to tell Skye that she could leave when she heard someone yell Happy Birthday.

Obviously, Nikki turned around to see who it was. "Georgie!" She said hugging her friend. "Thanks." She said taking the bag from Georgie. More presents! Yay!!! Nikki reached into the bag and pulled out the first thing she got hold off. Slowly she pulled it out to observe it. "Ohh...lookie...another necklace." Nikki said chuckling. She put the necklace on. There now she had a necklace from her mother, a necklace from Blake, and a necklace from Georgie! OHH! And a new bag! Love it."

Georgie hugged Nikki back and smiled as she opened it. Chuckling when she noticed all the necklaces Nikki got for her birthday. "It appears Necklaces were the birthday present of the year huh Nik?" she asked with a laugh. She was glad that at least the bag was unique. Hopefully she hadn't gotten another one of those. "Your welcome! So tell me how the picnic with Blake went on!"

Nikki chuckled and nodded her head. "Well actually I've always had this one," Nikki said as she held the diamond key. "My mom gave it to me." And suddenly she felt a sharp peak on her arm. "OW!" She turned and glared at Skye. "Fine go!" She said shooing the owl off. She turned back towards Georgie and smiled, shaking her head. But that smile faded as quickly as it came. She wanted to know about the picnic, gulp.

"Well...uh..." She began as she looked down at the ground. She always avoided eye contact when she was confronted with something like this...or when she was lying. "It went...great...yup...great, fantastic." Okay that wasn't a total lie, she just wasn't putting it the right away was all...if that even made sense.

Georgie smiled and examined it. "Oooh, it's beautiful!" she replied with a chuckle as the owl pecked at her arm. Which reminded her. "PEGASUS!" she called out towards the large snowy owl as he flew down to her. Georgiana tied her letter to his leg, "Take this to Cody, and try to be fast buddy." she smiled and stroked the owl's head before he followed Nikki's owl.

She turned back to her friend and raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms over her chest. "Nik, your avoiding eye contact. That's not promising."

Nikki giggled nervously. "What are you talking about Georgie?" She asked. "I'm not avoiding eye contact. Why would you think I'm avoiding eye contact? Iamnotavoidingeyecontact." She said the last part extrememly fast. After a couple of minute staring at her feet, she finally sighed. "Okay, yes I'm lying. I went to the picnic and well...I uh...I....forgave him...hehe."

Georgiana would've laughed at Nikki's babbling did it not have her concerned now. Crossing her arms over her chest, Georgie raised an eyebrow. "Alright Nik, you have some explaining." Then as Nikki finally said she was lying, Ana smirked. She KNEW it! But then, she had to stop and shake her head. Did Nikki just say she FORGAVE him? What in merlin's name!? She coughed, "I'm sorry, I must need my ears checked. I could've sworn I just heard you say you forgave him."

Nikki stared at Georgie, biting her bottom lip, waiting for Georgie to say something. And by that look on her face, whatever she was gonna say was not going to be good. She didn't hear? What does she mean she didn't hear! "Yes I forgave him!" Nikki said, practically yelling. Some of the owls around her hooted loudly and glared at her...well it looked like they were glaring at her.

Georgie shook her head, really? She had forgiven him so easily? Must have been one hell of a picnic! Georgie crossed her arms, before she started yelling about the stupidity of forgiving him, she thought it best to hear the entire story. THEN she could comment on the sheer idiocy. "Might I ask why?"

Oh this was definatly not going the way she had planned. Weren't best friends supposed to understand your stupid decisions? Well if they were, Georgie really needed to read the book on best friends. Nikki sighed and leaned against the wall. "Well I made it down to the lake and when I got there, there was a picnic waiting for me. Which I totally was not expecting!" Yup, she wasn't expecticing that. "And then he told me to sit and he was about to apologize when I heard this annoying whistle. He jumped up and ran behind a tree, and when he came back he had a cake Georgie! He had a birthday cake for me!!!" She made a huge smile appear on Nikki's face. So it was offical, she, Nicolette Cassidy Finn, was a very lucky girl...when it came to boyfriends...best friends not so much.

"Here Melvy," I say to my owl, "Remember Jake, take this to him." I hand him my letter and two boxes of chocolates.

I run back to my common room.

Georgie shook her head, alright. It was certainly a sweet gesture, but she couldn't forget seeing Nikki right after. And she had been crying! Her make up smudged and Nik didn't even care, that was NOT her. Georgiana crossed her arms, alright she had to look at this logically. Would she have done the same if it were Barry? Probably. Would Nikki have forgiven him just because she did? Probably not. "Nik, as sweet as that sounds. Do you not remember what he even did! He invited someone who HATES you to JOIN you on your date! You can forgive him if you want, but I still hate him. He hurt you."

Oh my gawd. It was torture waiting for Georgie to reply. And when she finally did speak up, it was something that Nikki did not want to hear. "Yes I know what he did to me Georgie." She said, her tone clearly frustated. "It's not something you can forget so easily." She sighed. "But everyone deserve a second chance right?" But the look she was getting from Georgie was still bugging her. "Okay fine, a thrid chance."

Georgiana shook her head, she didn't even know what to reply to her with. But maybe it would be a good idea to not say anything, and just drop the conversation. One was going to end up screaming at the other. "Alright. Fine. I can't make your desicions for you." she shook her head slightly, "And I'm sorry. I know I'm being over dramatic and such," Or at least it probably looked like that to Nik, "But it's just because it really was hard to see you hurt." so Nikki could forgive him, but Georgie still hated the guy.

Sigh. Good the conversation was done. Finally. "Thanks Georgie." Nikki said smiling softly. So what should they do know? "Well I'm gonna head back to my dorm. I have some homework to catch up on." Nikki looked at the window, checknig to see if Skye was actually gone. She was. "See you later!" She walked over to the door and began walking down the stairs.

Georgie nodded, giving a small wave of her hand. "Sure Nik. I'll catch you later." ehh, that didn't go so well. Er, maybe things will be better next time they saw each other. Who knew. Well, it wasn't good to dwell on it now. Georgie checked for Pegasus, but like Georgiana's owl. He was long gone. Whatevs. Georgie shrugged and started after Nikki down the stairs. She had potions homework. Ick.

Dillon made his way up to the owlery. He wanted to send his dad a letter. He thought maybe he should ask Lucas, but then his parents were always open and honest with them. He felt his dad would be honest with him and not try to deter him from having feelings for Natasha.

He sat down on the bench and pulled out his ink and quill.

He called down his tiny owl Peanut, the owl was one of the offspring of Goliath, his dad's little owl. Peanut hooted and swooped down happily when he saw Diggy waving for him. He perched on Diggy's shoulder nibbling on the bits of toast that Dillon had in his hand. "That's a good boy," Diggy cooed petting Peanut on the head. He rolled up his letter and attached it to Peanut's leg. "Take this to dad will you?" he asked him softly. The owl hooted gave an affectioned nip of Diggy's ear and flew out of the open windows. Diggy watched after him till he was no longer visible.

Violet skipped over to her owl Daphne. "Hey girl I got a letter for the Riddle mansion!" she said and tied the letter to Daphne's leg.

Miles didn't stop at the Ravie common room as he ran up the stairs after the encounter with Fia. Pulling a piece of parchment, quill and a jar of ink out of his bag with his shaking, cut and bloodied hands he began writing.



Looking for an owl one spotted him, the same one that had taken his letter last time that Fia had found and he smiled. Hurriedly tying the letter to her leg, he watched as she took off and slumped down in a heap on the ground. He didn't know what to do. Glancing at his watch he sighed and decided to go do as he was asked. His housemates needed to know. At that he left and headed over toward the Ravenclaw common room.

Torin sighed as he entered the owlery. He really did not want to send this letter, but he had to. Now that others knew his secret, it would be wrong for him to keep it hidden from his best friend. Why had he mentioned anything? It had to have been because of what Tammy had told him...

He took out a piece of paper and a quill then began to write:

Dear Fyo,

How are things going now? I hope that Nova is doing okay. Did she like the nice clothes I sent her fro Christmas? I hope she did. And how are things with you? I miss you so much.

I know I should have written again sooner, and I'm very sorry. But Prefecting is hard work. And there has been a lot of drama at the school. We're on lockdown now because students are getting injured after going into hogsmeade. Cela disappeared..

Anyway. Other than that things are good. Besides Brody getting sick. But she's better now, so don't you worry! I'm taking care of her.

Ummm, not too much else to really say here. I was diagnosed with diabetes during the summer. So I will be seeing you in a few months. You better send me a gift for my birthday!!

He called for his owl, attached the letter to it's leg and then sent it off before walking out of the room.

Sarah walked across the owlery, her stiletto heeled boots slipping on the cobbles. She looked round, and called down her fluffy grey owl, Dusty. She attached the parchment tied with ribbon to his leg.

Then she threw him out the window, and watched as he became a small prick in the multi colour wash sky that was red, gold and orange, with blue and purple round the edges.

Hayden rushed into the owlery, nearly running into a seventh year as she ran in. Once she was in there she relaxed, there was no-one around so she could just chill. She called to her Scops owl, "Elf, come here you gorgeous little thing. I have a letter i need you to take to Scout, Tahlila and Brooke," she said coaxing her little owl with a few treats. "Come on girl!"

This boarding school, well its really nice, and the professors are good, but the people are either crazy, really sociable or really studious. Surprisingly i've had trouble making friends.
