Holding the ice pack between her chest and injured wrist, Arya coverers her mouth wiith her uninjured hand to keep from laughing at Raiden. Usually when someone mentions taking her to the hospital she would freakout, but from the look on Raiden's face she could tell that he didn't know about Lord of the Rings therefore thinking them crazy.With false worry she went back to trying to dig Sabel out. "Hold on Sam, hold on! I'll dig you out!"Looking to Raiden with a gleam in her eyes and mock terror on her face. "Gandlaf, you've got to help me! Please! Sam's righ--"

Arya took a half step back when Sabel sneezed. Spiting flower petals out of he mouth and runing her fingers through her hair to remove other petals. Through the shower of petals she heard Allison get upset at being called Pippin and started to giggle. "I'm sorry Allie...by what name should I call you?"She knew Allison would get made, what she didn't expect was for her to get so upset that she'd leave taking Ivory with her.Though she didn't want Allison to leave, she was unable to wipe the smile off her face. "Allie wait...it was just a joke!"She yelled after her friend but it was too late, she was already gone.

Turning back to Sabel, who was now clearly visible dispite all the flowers, she bent down and tilted her head in a atempt to see his face. "Are you alright Sabel?"She planed on runing after Allison, but she wasn't gonna leave Sabel behind. She she ran the fingers of her uninjured hand through his hair to tilt his head in order to see his face better.

"Oooohhh. Sneeze no go well with headache." Sabel muttered, cracking open an eye when his head was tilted. He blinked at Arya, about to say something about her hand being in his hair when he was Allison storm off and vaugely remembered her words about being called a hobbit.

Sometimes, she was strange. It seemed any small thing could set her off.

Sighing he looked back at Arya, or the clear Arya with a fuzzy haze around her like a sheild. "I guess, Mr. Frodo...Pippin must be off to fight with Gondor for Minas Tirth. We...should hurry and found Mount Doom. Before this crazyness starts affecting the both of us."

That and he wanted to get off the cold floor and go lie down somewhere. Putting one hand on the wall, he rose to his feet a little wobbly and glanced at Raiden. "Are you coming with us Gandalf, or does Rohan need to know of the urgency of this matter?" He blinked at the boy and realized he wasn't exactly getting the references. "Err. Thank you. For coming to our aid."

Once Sabel called her Frodo Arya smiled knowing he was fine. Removing her hands from his hair she stood up and looked in the direction Allison had just left. She didn't know that her simple joke would upset her so much. Get her rialed up yes, but not enough to make her storm off to where ever she went. Arya was gonna have to watch what she said around Allison or she could end up loosing a friend.

Shaking her head she turned back to Sabel and Raiden with a small smile on her face. "Must be Sam, and they'll need a good fighter like Pippin.A Fool of a Took he may be, but he has a good heart that Pip. Ah yes...to destroy the ring. It is a burdon I'm so ready to be rid of."

She turned to Raiden with her hands on her hips and a facial expression that looked like she was really going to destroy the one ring. "What say you Gandalf---Are you coming with us Raiden? Not sure where we're goin..."She remembered that he was doing his rounds or something, but the look on his face stil said I think ya'll need to see the Healer.She also didn't know where to look for Allison, probably the library, unless she went to her common room which they couldn't go to. Well maybe they could split up and search the castle.

Staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare.

"You're going to the Hospital Wing, I should hope," he finally mumbled, staring. "What's a Gandalf? Did you all manage to ingest a confusing concoction or something? Or get caught by a stray confundus charm?"

They hadn't been loony a few minutes ago, how had they all just suddenly lost their minds? It obviously wasn't anything that was in this area, because... well he would have gotten it too, and he was fairly sure he was lucid and not crazy.

"How is it that-" the little ones ran off, leaving Raiden with Arya and Sabel, who... were still insane. "What are you all going on about?"

"Merlin no!"She shook her head and for a split second there was fear in her eyes just thinking about it. But then he went on about some confusing mumbo jumbo; she mirrored the look he was giving them. "From Lord of The Rings...what are you talking about?How could he not know about LoTR, everyone knew about that book. She didn't know one person who hadn't read the book in sch---Ohhhh.

It finally clicked in her head. She had forgotten that many wizards don't know much about muggle books. It was a small fact that always seemed to elude her. She smiled at this fact before explaining it all to Raiden. "Its a muggle book triology. About wizards, elves, humans, hobbits and other magical creatures...though there not the same as in our world. Gandlaf is a wizard. Mr.Frodo, Sam or Samwise and Pippin are all hobits."I think you would like it."She looked to Sabel to see if he wanted to add more to her explination.

Chuckling, Sabel absently smacked the dust and mossy water off his clothes, glancing at Arya. "And do not forget they must destroy the One Ring of Power which Sauron wants to use to bring all the lands of Middle Earth under a second darkness." He held up two fingers to reiterate the point.

Smiling, he cast a glance over at Raiden who looked rather confused and stressed over their mental stability. Shaking his head a little he waved it off. "Don't mind us. We're just being silly. Besides seeing spots, were good." He gave the Prefect a double thumbs up, hoping that would alleviate some of the worry.

A thought came to him suddenly and he lowered his arms, blinking around. "Does Allison even know how to get out of here?"

Ivory ran back through the corridor trying to think lost. Now if she was an earlier she and she was with a group of people that had tripped on a patch of moss, where would she/her be...
She shook her head in frustration, this sort of thinking was confusing.

Earlier in her haste to get away from the Lord of the Rings references, Allison had grabbed her arm and dragged the smaller girl down one corridor and up another for quite some time, determined for some reason that north was the way back. Nevertheless, whether by chance because they'd gone every which way except the exit or because finally after a while of going north they'd finally gone east, eventually they'd made it out, right outside the library of all places. She'd been pondering on the safety of her new friends for a while now and had eventually decided to venture back and bring them with her to the library.

Aha, she thought to herself, there they are. She had finally spotted them.

"Hey guys, sorry about that," she said between pants, she'd been running for a while.

Slowly between deep breaths, clutching her side from running and the fading bruise, she explained how Allison had had enough of the Lord of Rings reference and had led them to mistakenly run north which had only gotten more lost but had eventually headed east, where they'd ended up in the library.

Having gained her breath from running and from now lost it from speaking so quickly, she just stood there breathing for a few seconds while she let her friends decipher what she'd said.

Who knew Hogwarts had such hiden places? Ryan couldn't tell for sure. So far, Hogwarts had turned out to be a bigger surprise that she was expecting it to be and it was awesome. Every now and then she wondered how would her life be if she was living in America or if she had stayed in Beauxbatons, but most of the time she shook her head, threw those thoughts away and focused on the present.

Ryan was the quiet type of good girl - if someone could read her mind, they would easily find out Ryan thought she had enough boring action in her life. So yes, she didn't have many friends and most of time she could be found wondering around, exploring the castle, just like in that moment or hiding from Art, of course

Thalia wanted to avoid running into a certain Slytherin boy. One she wanted to smack upside the head and tell him to grow up. And the other jealous stalker one. So her last resort was sneak inside the secret passage way she had found upon her arrival thanks to some older Slytherin girls.

The bad part? It was slightly dark and she had trouble making out where she was walking. Suddenly Thalia ran into someone. "Ooh sorry," she told the person, rubbing her forehead. As her eyes adjusted she saw who it was. "Ryan?" Thal questioned. "What are you doing down here?" she asked. Boy was she glad to meet a girl for once.

Ouch.

In the darkness, Ryan had seriously thought she was alone. "Who's there?" she asked as someone bumped into her. But the voice of the person in question was quite known. "Thal! What are you...?" Ryan cut off. What a stupid question! IUf there was an intruder there, it was herself. "Nevermind. I was... around... A certain... person I was half looking for half avoiding is a Slytherin." she answered instead wondering how much information could she actually tell.

How would Thalia react when she told her about Art?

"Yeah, sorry for my bad eye sight in this dark dungeon. You would be surprised how many times I tripped or ran into someone else," she explained to her, looking down to see her shoe untied. She bent down to tie it and continued. "Who were you looking for?" Thalia asked, having to redo the miss-tied shoe. "Cause I myself am trying to avoid a Slytherin. Two in fact," she mumbled.

Ryan didn't even listened to the apologies, so caught up she was by her thoughts, her Patrick as well as Art-related thoughts.
Who? How was she suppose to get out of that one without lying? "Hum.. Nobody, really. Hot, dark-haired, half japanese half irish slytherin. Art... KOizumi. Ever heard of?" she said carefully, mesuring her every words.

Yes, Ryan was anxious. Because there happened to be a certain boy named Patrick awaiting her letters - nobody else other than Thalia's cousin.

She frowned at her brunette friend's words.
"Right.... Seems like that is taking off perfectly. Who are you avoiding, brunette?" she asked with a giant smirk. Ah well, she could - she trusted and adored her friend.

Art? Hmm..."Yep, I have in fact. We share almost every class and I see him at every meal AND in the common room," she replied, emphasizing the last AND. "You like him?" she blurted out. Okay...she hadn't exactly meant to ask her it so straight and plain forward.

Thalia assumed Ryan was still torn up with Patrick. She didn't want to make her feel bad so thought it better not to add anything to that subject.

"Who I--," she started pointing to herself. Then smiled and shook her head. "For one, Cesar Helsing. Fifth year who is jealous of my new boyfriend," Thalia smirked. "And two Parker Yorke. I'd rather not have an arguing session with him." Even though he was one of the only people who knew her darkest secret. Strange right.

WAIT!! Did she just tell Ryan she had a boyfriend? Crap. She smacked her forehead. This was her little secret. Now someone knew.

Ryan was busy trying to add all those facts together in order to make any meaningful sentence.
"Hum... Yeah, I guess I sort of do. There's a thing going on, but I really don't know what it is..." she made an effort to explain things she didn't know herself. But she felt like she owed Thalia an explanation: "Thalia, listen... I met Art just before I met Patrick. I told him about Art, so he knew right from the beginning. Now..." Now what? She liked Patrick, she missed him and he was far, far away. And she liked the popular Art, a slytherin who happened to be very close. "Now..." Ryan repeat, lacking better words to continue her line of thoughts. "Now your cousin is far away, he is not coming back and I am here. That's it. I guess."

"You have a boyfriend? Naughty Thalia." she commented, sticking her tongue out. She was in need to act childish, after behaving like a grown up all through her adolescence. "So, who is he?" she asked, very, very curious.

Thalia understood. "He would want what's best for you Ry," she assured her. "I say go for Art. I mean, sure Patrick's still there but then again he isn't. Like you said he's far, far away," Thalia repeated. She hadn't gotten herself mixed between two guys like Ryan did. She had decided one was a player, the other wouldn't dream of kissing her, and the last had beat the other two to it. "He's gone Ryan. And not coming back." It was the simple truth.

Thalia blushed. She chuckled when Ryan stuck her tongue out at her. "Yes, I do. He's a Ravenclaw fourth year. His name is Jude Harrison and he kissed me!" Thalia blurted out before she could stop herself. Her hand flew over her mouth.

Would he? The girl immediately regreted those thoughts. Patrick was a good guy and he liked her enough to want her to be happy. Such a cliché.
"I know, Thal. I really don't need you to remember that." she replied half harshly.
"Sorry. It wasn't my intention to snap at you, but... From where I'm standing... I have a bracelet and you to remind me that there is a guy that likes me outside these walls, but that we will never be able to be together. And that doesn't feel right. It hurts." that was the overwhelming truth. They had spent one day together. One day. That didn't make sense. One day and she was completely under his spell. She had felt joy and happiness all over again just so that that could be taken away from her again. And it hurted, deep in her heart, in a place she didn't even think she had.

A place that would be his, forever.

"Niceee." she commented, absolutely distracted. "Good for you... and for him, of course." she added, her mind miles and miles away.

"I know Ryan, it probably does but there's nothing anyone can do about it right now. Just create a distraction for yourself or something. Cause he really can't be brought up every time I talk to you. You know I don't hold all of the answers," Thalia explained to the girl. She didn't know how to make Ryan feel better. It was one of those things where you just had to wait for it to rub off. Thalia didn't know ow to handle it.

"He was my first kiss," she whispered in the dank dark passageway. She slid to the bottom of the wall. "Unless of course you want to bring a fish into the matters," she added, remembering the little argument she had had with Jude. "And now I don't know how to tell the two boys I have to forget about." She couldn't flirt anymore with Parker or Cesar. She didn't actually flirt with Parker but she hung out with him more than usual.

The blonde crossed her arms on her chest. "Okay, Thalia. I didn't ask for advice, either." she replied, upset that Thalia insisted on that matter. "Can we just not talk about it?" she asked, refusing to handle any other conversation about Patrick. The fact that Thalia kept on rubbing the truth on her face made her uncomfortable. She had no right to do that. If she wanted someone who blamed her, she could aswell run to America.

Okay... Did she had to be there listening to all that romantic crap? Ryan herself was a romantic and a dreamer, but Thalia had just taken away her will to feel happy.
"Listen, Thal... Do you like the guy? The one you're dating with? I don't think it makes all that sense for you to be with him if you are going to keep on thinking about two other guys." Ryan said, as kindly as she could. "The guy you're with... He should be the that makes you forget all the others. He should be the one that makes you forget there are even other guys on the planet. He's that guy you can't take out of your mind. He's the guy you're mind keeps wondering about..." Okay, maybe she should just shut up.

Afterall... Romance was overated.

"Gosh Ryan, I was only trying to help. There's no need to get snappy with me about your problems. If you don't want help don't talk to me about them," Thalia replied, looking up at the girl with a raised eyebrow. "I've wanted to talk about something else ever since you started on the subject." Thalia closed her eyes for a second and just let herself calm down. Sure Ryan was hurt and angry right now but it didn't mean Thalia had to jump on her with the same force.

She listened to her talk. "I do like him. A lot Ryan. But it doesn't help that every time Cesar and I talk he brings up the 'Oh no I don't care if you date him' crap and every time I try to talk with Parker we end up arguing. I never liked Cesar because I know somewhere deep down he would break my heart. And with Parker I just wanted to argue with him. He's the one who won't care. I just mainly don't want to see the look on Cesar's face after I tell him," she told her grumpily. "He tries to make me feel guilty about dating Jude which I completely don't." He annoyed her now. Maybe she just shouldn't say a word to either of them about it.

Evan really wanted to find a place where he could be alone. Darn, why were there so many students? Why was every corner occupied, why was there always someone? He glared angrily at the dungeon corridor, who seemed to be crowded with Shana and Blake. Both knew him, and he couldn't bear a chit chat now. He was seriously in need of a lone place.

As he walked, he realised a secret passage that he had never seen before. Huh. What might be here? But of course, as always here was a place for two people too. Though he didn't know any of them. So maybe they would just leave him alone... hopefully. He walked to the end of it which was a dead end. Better. Now, he could just sit at the end alone. And so he did with his wand in his hand to conjure sparkling butterflies. (The place was in need of light, not that butterflies was his favourite animal, or that they were the only things he could conjure. He was pretty sure if he learnt the incantations, he could conjure much cooler stuff.) Of course the butterflied were blue and white, but even the colours of Chelsea didn't help. He was way too angry to see notice any colour.

Violet. All his problem was Violet. Once he got that girl in his hands, he'd literally kill her. Stupid brat who thought she knew everything. 'That someone might have written that you may be dating Marie.' It still rang in his ears. What a lie! And she'd sent the letter to Fallon! What would Fallon think of him now? Surely she'd ask him the truth, wouldn't she? She'd better, because he definately wasn't dating Marie! Or she'd mention it to Beaumont, who would directly come to him. And he'd tell her the truth. In either case, he'd reveal the truth. His memory rang another sentence which turned the colour light blue to dark, black-ish blue for it infuriated him more: 'Were you sad, Evan, even the tiny bit?'

What did that second year brat think he was?! Of course he was sad after Fallon! How couldn't he, she was his first girlfriend! But he couldn't just live in sorrow, could he? They were just twelve and it wasn't even real love. Just over liking, that was it. What could happen at the age of twelve anyway? It wasn't like they were married! He was sad in the summer, but it was over and he had moved on with his life. He hummed some unlogical words to himself. Why did everyone made it such big deal? He didn't think Fallon missed him so much and thought about him all the time neither. If she did, she shouldn't. Because that was obsession, not love. There was definately no such thing like love at the age of twelve and Violet needed to understand it.

Marie was another problem too. Why did he have to blush so much around her, especially with the tiniest physical contact? He was 100% sure their relationship was friendly, but why did he have to have a heart attack everytime they touched to each other? Well, she was really pretty, but that was it. Violet, oh how lucky he was to have her, she was such a genious that had an opinion about everything!, also told that maybe they were too close. Though, despite agreeing and nodding, this made him angry again. So it looked like he couldn't even have girl friends. He hummed again to himself silently. Well, he might have a soft spot for her, but it wasn't beyond friendship. Or so he hoped, but there was another voice talking inside him, which had been suppressed since he had first seen Marie this year again. It was saying that he felt the same thing for Fallon last year right before Shana got the reins in her hands and help them start dating. He sighed. This was not right. The thing he felt for Marie was totally different. Friendship, that was it.

...or, was it? He wasn't sure anymore. He was so confused now, thanks to Violet brat! Heck, once he got her in his hands... the consequences would not be pleasant.

With another sigh, he buried his face in his hands and just tried to calm himself down. But his thoughts wandered off to Marie once again, the moments they shared together. And he noticed this calmed him down pretty much. Oh Merlin, why was he having these thoughts now?

Marie was walking along the corridor trying to forget about everything that happened with Violet earlier in the dorm room and common room. Why did that girl have to be so nosy? It was none of her business who Evan liked or didn't like, she wasn't his keeper. She needed to worry about herself and her way too old for her boyfriend. It was none of her business if Evan was friends with Marie, it was no ones business but their own.

She kept picturing Evan in her head and the hurt look he had on his face the last time she seen him. Oh how that made her want to just slap that brat Violet. Maybe she should put a hex on her, one that would make her nose grow everytime she got in someone else's business. Now if only she knew a hex like that. Maybe she would go to the library later and look up some spells, she was sure to find one that she could use.

Suddenly thoughts of Fallon filled her head. She remembered seeing her around last year but didn't really know anything about her. Thanks to Violet though she now knew more about her than she ever did when she was a student at Hogwarts, or so she thought she did. Were Fallon and Evan dating? Was she still his girlfriend? Was she going to be coming back to Hogwarts? Where would that leave Evan and Marie? Friends, that's where it would leave them. That's all they were now, firends. So why was it Marie felt so protective of Evan, why did she get nervous and blush so much when she was around him? Friends didn't act like that did they? Oh no, was she starting to think of Evan as more than a firend? That couldn't happen now, not when she just found out he may already have a girlfriend. She couldn't let that happen, she had to just be his friend, someone who would support him no matter what.

Not paying attention to where she was going she suddenly kicked something. Looking to see what it was she realized how dark it had gotten in the corridor. Where in the name of Merlin was she? Taking her wand out she said "Lumos" so she could see. That's when she noticed it was Evan that she had tripped over. "Oh Evan, are you okay? I didn't see you there, I didn't mean to kick you. I'm really sorry" Looking around she noticed she was at a dead end. What was Evan doing there sitting on the floor? Looking at him again she noticed that he didn't look so great. "Hey, what's wrong, are you okay?" Her heart started to sink, she didn't like seeing him like this, she wanted her smiling, red faced, fun Evan back. She really needed to do something to help him, but what could she do?

Evan was so deep in thought that he didn't even hear the coming footsteps, and was eventually kicked due to lack of light.

"OUCH!" That hurt! Lately, a lot of parts of his body hurt. "Watch where you step, da--" he looked up as his kicker lighted a wand. It was Marie! And that was why he didn't finish his curse. Oops. "Yes, I'm OK." he said with an apologizing smile and patted the floor next to him for her to sit down. His heart started to speed up again. Well, it was kinda normal after all those struggling thoughts which might have come close to a shore but he wasn't quite sure about whether he felt friendship or not. Though she looked so pretty again... and his heart again sped up... No. NO! Friends. Because that was what she saw him as. "Umm. How are you?" Yeah, better to change the subject to keep away his stupid thoughts.

'Oh no, I did hurt him,' she thought when she heard him yell. "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you," she said as she sat down next to him. Of all the people here he had to be the one she kicked when Violet was the one she really wanted to kick. "I'm okay." Well not really but she didn't want to burden him with her porblems. Although they both had the same problem it seemed, Violet.

She had so many things she wanted to ask him but didn't want him to think she was being nosy too. She sat there trying to think how to ask him about Fallon so he wouldn't think she was acting like Violet. She didn't want to push him, she was just trying to figure out why her friend seemed so sad lately. Finally breaking that awkward silence that was there she hesitantly asked in a sweet non-threatening way. "Umm Evan, is um... Fallon your girlfriend?" Oh great, that sounded like someone who was being too nosy. "I'm sorry, you don't have to answer if you don't want to. It's just that Violet said a lot of things and made me feel like it was my fault for you two arguing." She replayed in her head what Violet had said to her, 'it seemed as if he was so interested in you it didn't matter'.

Evan waved his hand as if he didn't want her to apologize. It did hurt, but he wouldn't share that with her. She shouldn't feel guilty because of him. There was some other person who was quite qualified for that: Violet. Little brat wished for her death. And Evan would bring it if she hadn't apologized from Fallon by the time he saw her again.

He looked up from his evil murder plans to Marie when she asked that question that was so wrong. "God, no!" he exclaimed. Was is Violet's job again? Oooh yes. She was going to her death second by second. He decided to tell the whole story to Marie to ensure she knew he was totally single to show her she was a friend he wanted to share his past. "We dated last year." he started. It was pretty and all, but right now he seriously wished they hadn't. "And her family moved to the US taking her with them. We naturally broke up. The end. No marriage. No commitment. Just a twelve-year-old dating. I can't understand why Violet makes it such big deal." He rolled his eyes. Phew. He felt so good to finally tell this to someone, especially to Marie. Really... As long as Evan could remember, Violet wasn't Fallon's one of besties. Why did she seem to care her so much now? "And as you can see, it's so not your fault. Totally Violet's overreaction." Yes, keep accusing Violet. She deserved it! Also... "I need to know what Violet has been spreading about me." So that he could crush her more willingly would know what lies had been told.

Good, she didn't hurt him or at least he wasn't telling her if she did. Marie listened as Evan told her about his relationship with Fallon. Now she understood why he looked so sad whenever someone mentioned her name. Even though he would probably never admit it she could tell that he still missed her. "I'm sorry she had to leave," was all she could think to say. She could only imagine how he felt, like he had lost his best friend. That's how she would feel if Evan had to leave, like she had lost her best friend because well, that's what he was, her best friend. A best friend that she now knew for sure did not have a girlfriend. "You know, if you are ever feeling sad and just need someone to talk to I will be there for you, I'm a good listener," she said as she reached over and gave him a hug that probably lasted just a little bit longer than a friendly hug should have lasted.

Marie tried to remember the conversation she had with Violet in the dorm room. "The other night I caught Violet putting something on Iris' bedside table. When I asked her what she was doing she said she was writing to someone but she wouldn't say who. Why do you think she would give the letter to Iris, why wouldn't she just send it off herself?" Now that Marie thought more about it, Violet was acting strange that night, like she was doing something sneaky. "Weren't Iris and Fallon friends? Do you think she wrote a letter to Fallon and asked Iris to send it off for her?" It all started to make sense now. After she put the letter on the table she started to question Marie about Evan.

"That same night Violet asked who I got my flowers from. When I told her you gave them to me she suddenly got interested and wanted to talk to me. I told her you were a good friend who was trying to cheer me up because I was having a bad day." Marie smiled when she thought about the flowers, they really did cheer her up. "That's when she said you were a good friend to some people, but you might be something more to others. When I asked her what she meant by that she said you secretly liked Fallon. She said she had seen you two together and you made the cutest couple and that she hoped Fallon would come back. After that I didn't want to talk to her anymore so I went to the common room to do my charms homework. Then when I seen you in there I was going to tell you ahout Violet but I decided not to. I was really hoping she would just go away and leave us alone." That was the last time Marie remembered seeing Evan smile, the last time she seen him really happy.

"The next time I seen Violet was in the common room when she was with you. After you left I got in an argument with her because she had upset you. That's when she told me she wanted to talk to you about Fallon but you seemed so interested in me that it didn't matter. That's why I thought it was my fault you two were arguing." Marie was feeling so mad at Violet now she could strangle her. That little brat had better run the next time she sees her because Marie didn't know if she would be able to control what she did to her. Yep, Violet just might get to see what a Malfoy could do when they were mad.
