And then it happened.
As Jake was clutching his broken elbow, feeling his cheek swell up where raiden had punched him and broken his face, he'd lost concentration and there was no sheild. He was right in the middle of the fight, over Tate... when he was hit with a stray stunner, from he didn't know who.
Immediately, Jake slumped forwards beside Tate, whacking his already broken cheekbone on the flagstones and slipping into unconsciousness, right beside Tate and Cela, his glasses twisted on his face and hopelessly smashed, totally thumbless.
Fail.

Cela felt the rennervate hit her and woke up all of a sudden... now she was... tied up? She blinked blearily from her spot on her back, staring up at the Headmaster. She couldn't.. she couldn't... the compulsion to obey was gone, she'd thrown that off, but the curses that stopped her from talking without pain were still there. Oh. Wait. She wasn't tied up. The ropes split. Thanks Headmaster T!
She blinked a few times, spotting Carr rolling around. Kind of looked fun...
She got to her knees.
She needed a wand.

Jack's lungs were on fire as he followed Torin and Chris up the stairs. "Guys...there's probably another...." he stopped to catch his breath and saw that the end of that sentence was not even necessary--they had found the other shield. He could see the battle raging on the other side...all they needed to do was get past it...
He hoped that Ashford was helping Raiden, and once she got there to help, Vindictus could come help them...
He raised his hand and tried to catch his breath once more. "If we get through...be careful," he mumbled. There was black dots in front of his eyes from running so fast. Where was his inhaler when he needed it?!
Silently he went to work on the shield, but until his lungs calmed down a bit he knew he probably wasn't much help.

Ivory's mind was a jumbled mess that she couldn't piece together and to be truthful so was her body. She was quite a sight really, what with her little green skin tone, her pajamas drenched in blood, a gaping wound in her arm that thankfully somehow had healed enough that it had stopped bleeding. The back of her skull was a dwelling of slight distant pain, and when she brought up her good arm to feel it, it came away wet with dried blood as well. On her cheek, a large burn marred her features but looked to be healing nicely as well.
Her legs stung in the way that could only be associated with healing burns, and they were also tiny scars in many places. Similar to her back actually. Her waist was a bruised mess with what seemed to be recently healed broken ribs and two puncture on her side that seemed to indicate she'd been bitten by a large snake. The worst injury was probably the wound in her arm, where little slivers of hard ice were still seen from were the large stalagmite had pierced it. And on top of all that she was filthy! Dirt, blood, mud and leaves and dead flowers everywhere not to mention her pajamas were singed and smelled of smoke.
All her wounds were closed and partly healed for the most part (how she didn't know) so no more blood was being lost, thankfully.
She had no recollection of what had happened before her arrival at the edge of the trees. Just that she'd made her way out of the Forbidden Forest and into the Entrance Hall in time to feel a strong need to protect a certain man. And protect him she would!
Circling behind the Headmaster she gave a leap. Latching onto his back like a little barnacle, she covered his eyes with her hands while holding her wand between her lips.
Peekaboo!

He stepped forward to give them room to tuck into the safe space he was creating in his shadow.

Her previous spell suddenly came at her! She ducked but felt it graze her shoulder. It hurt! Wha...? That spell wasn't supposed to HURT! Grrrrrrrrrrrr! MERLIN! And now rubble was coming at her from above! Miranda cried out, but went down, feeling a heavy piece of something hit her on the shoulder she had broken before. Some rubble grazed her face, leaving angry red marks. Ow ow ow ow.... She had...to- get UP. Scrambling to her knees, Miranda put her shield up, hoping it would suffice.
Put down our wands? Another laugh.
"Yeah, we will - when you do it first!" Miranda took deep breaths, trying to block out the pain from her arm. "BUTTERFLIES. I DEMAND A CURRICULUM CHANGE," Tate raged a bit, swatting at the bits of angry insect that seemed intent on leeching to his face. They burnt up into nice crispy bits of bug with a slash of fire from his wand but... butterflies? Hmm.
"Stay down!" He cast a full-body bind right at her.

She started shooting spells towards the ones that seemed to be protecting that strange man.
"Serpensortia!"
She yelled as she pointed her wand at Destiny.
Yes, eat snake Destiny, I know you love them. A snake! She didn't even care that her spells bounced off Marie's shield...there was now a snake.
Somewhere in her mind, she knew Destiny didn't like snakes, so she maneuvered her way over to the Slytherin, casting another Reducto and Confringo to whoever was trying to cast at them.
Finally making it to Destiny, she nudged the girl's side to indicate that Evelyn herself was standing right there next to her before pointing her wand at the snake. "Engorgio! Geminio! OPPUGNO!" she yelled out, watching the snake increase in size and duplicate itself before going after Marie. 'Have fun with that Marie!' Evelyn thought, smirking and turning her attention back to the headmaster for a moment. Put down their wands? Not likely.

Oh. He didn't want to get involved in the fighting. He wasn't ready. Hogwarts was supposed to be niceness and friendliness and awesomeness. Not students HURTING each other.

Carter burst in and cast a handful of Bat Boogey Hexes into the crowd of possessed students. He then jumped into part two and cast protection shields on everyone... Jack, Torin, himself, Chris, Kay, Marie, and started all over again.

There was no way Destiny was putting her wand away. The only way she would be disarmed was if they took it from her cold dying hands. And that was not going to happen.
Not today anyway.
Destiny took a glance around the corridor, to see if anyone of the good guys (the ones defending Huxley) were injured. The only one she saw was Jake..Crud. One less person.
And more people were coming! Did the sliding steps get fixed or something? Obviously or how else would people have gotten up here?
Then her eyes fell on the thing that was right in front of her. A blasted snake! Merlin no! About to really run, her running trail was blocked by Evelyn. And she was casting on the snake.
Eyes wide as the snake grew and attacked Marie, Destiny couldn't help but smirk as she pointed her own wand at the now two snakes. 'Incendio.'
Muahaha!
