| | Room of Requirement
You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. You open it and discover you have found the Room of Requirement... |

"What's wrong?" she asked as she looked up at him. Seiing tht he was watching the match and the look on his face she realized she had been concentrating so hard on who the players were that she forgot to actually pay attention to the game.
Looking back at the game she decided she better pay a little more attention to what was happening instead of who the players were. Okay so there are a bunch of guys at one end of the pitch and the announcer says something about a corner for Unite. She was just about to ask what that meant when Evan told her. "Oh, so that's a good thing then?" Well she figured it was a good thing for one of the teams, she just wasn't sure which one. Noticing how he looked a little calmer when he was telling her about corners and counter attacks she figured it was a good thing for his team right now, or was it?
They were only a few minutes into the game and she was already confused. As she watched Evan pacing she thought about how she really needed to find a book that would explain all of this. No, not a book, she would rather have Evan teach her. Yes, that would mean more time with him, something she was willing to do, no matter how long it took. Hearing Evan talking to her brought her back to the game they were watching now. "Um what do I think? Well, I tihnk there is a lot of action and...." 'and what? you have no clue what is happening that's what.' She wasn't going to tell him that part though, was she. "and well, to be honest, I am totally confused right now." Okay, so she was going to tell him. She really didn't want Evan to think she was an idiot here but wow, there was a lot to this game. If she just kept watching and listening then hopefully by the end of the game she wouldn't be so confused. Was a corner good thing? If it was Chelsea using it, yes. If it was the opponents, no. "It depends on the conceder." he said, eyes not leaving the screen for even a second. The ball was at the feet of Chelsea and he could relax. He turned to Marie to answer her. "Confused?" What was there to be confused? The rules might be hard to remember, but the rest was pretty easy. And he accepted terms might be complex too, even he sometimes confused them. But seriously it was the most enjoyable game. He bit his lips. She knew who was his team, didn't she? Just to make sure, he asked "The blues are Chelsea, my team. The black ones are Manchester, Chelsea's biggest rivalry." Hadn't he mentioned it before? Huh. Obviously not. After glancing at the screen once again, he gave a questioning look for her to ask what else was confusing. It was nineth minute, and the game was already heating up. In the tenth minute, Essien for Chelsea, on one of his train-like charges up field, was stopped in his tracks just over halfway. Evan softly cursed, and his soft curse turned into an unhealty one as Manchester United countered. Eyes totally fixed on the TV, his hands made a movement towards his face as it got a horror expression. Rooney fired really effectively but it went to the side-netting via a touch off Carvalho. He let his breath out slowly which he had been holding since Rooney got the ball, thanking Carvalho for being so cautious. That was definately a counter-attack and Manchester was good at it. "What a Rooney that was!" said the announcer. "Now United with the corner again." Just the opposite of Evan's worst dreams, the ball was met by Terry and he sent it far away to the Manchester's half field. This match was too stressing to watch.

But your left foot behind you and rock your wait back onto it, and then back onto your right foot. You just repeat that over and over and that's the basic swing step."

Well, it was either that of the school was trying to get them talking again, but the odds of Hogwarts caring were fairly slim. Or at least she couldn't think of a reason why it would. But by now she was fairly sure of how the RoR worked, so the fact it seemed to keep bringing Phoebus there was certainly odd.
After getting her shoes off, she wrapped the ribbons around them before leaning over to slip them carefully back in her school bag, glancing back at him as he spoke again. Twisting her messy hair up behind her head, she stuck her wand in the resulting knot to keep it up before she grinned. "Obviously the room decided you had better things to do then read." At least, unless he was supposed to read record labels, there wasn't a lot of reading material in her room/studio. "You're welcome," she said then, as he spoke of her bringing his shirt with her to school. "It was easier to just leave it hidden in my trunk til I saw you again than to deal with the possibility Riley would find it." He was obviously still twitchy around her, which bothered her, but in the same respect she couldn't quite get herself to bring up what the issue was. One of them was going to have to, but it was still all so awkward. Phoebus glanced around the room as Adrienne said something about the place just wanting to mess with them. Kind of...weird. But then this was Hogwarts, a magical castle. Hmm. " Yeah...I guess the room decided I shoudl to more than just read." He said, looking at Adrienne again. " I guess..." he trailed off as she started in on how she didn't want Riley to see the shirt.
His eyebrows shot up a moment. " Yeah, I kind of think it would be best ifh e didn't know you had it. He'd probably accuse you of like...making some evil potion. You know how he gets." He said, laughing slightly in a nervous manner. Leaning back in the poofy chair, he finally sighed. " I don't know what to do now that like...I kissed you. It's...everything is weird. Or...weirder than it used to be." he said. " That and I don't know what Riley is going to do. That...disturbs me too." he said, his words coming out haltingly because he wasn't sure what to say at all.

Adrienne hadn't really been sure if Phoebus would have understood her reasoning behind her joke about the castle, but then she couldn't say she was exactly sure herself. It was kind of like she just said something to say something, but then when he responded she couldn't help but laugh. "Considering the lack of reading material in here," she pointed out, before she wondered if putting her school robes back on would make her feel better. She'd never felt odd around Phoebus before in her dance clothes, but that was before. Now she was just hoping the fact there was a bit of distance between them in the room would help her not think about it.
Eyes widening at his comment about Riley, she pulled her feet up on her chair in front of her as she wrapped her arms around her knees. "Not that I would," she said, before it kicked in that he was joking. Forcing herself to relax, she smiled a little. "Actually, Riley probably would be more apt to think I was trying to turn you into a robot too. Remember, I suck at potions." And she had no problem admitting that, which she knew he knew. But then he finally spoke about what had been bothering her, and what had made her think he was avoiding her. Chewing on her lower lip, she rested her chin on her knees as she looked at Phoebus, letting him finish whatever it was he wanted to say. "I don't know what to do either," she finally said once he finished speaking. "I mean, does this change whatever form of friendship we had? Cause you know I always had considered you my friend, even with Riley's weirdness. But now it's like, is there something more?" She paused in her half-to-herself musing, and then sighed. "And I'm afraid of how Riley might react too, and that annoys me because I've never cared what he thinks. But this is all so different and I just don't know." She was quickly devolving into almost a panic, simply at how weird this all was, and now she was afraid of scaring Phoebus away again. Maybe it was just all the stress getting to her again. Hopefully it was just that. She could deal with that.

Turning her attention back to the game she sees that Chelsea has the ball but gets stopped by Manchester. Hearing Evan's frustration, and not so nice words she is a little surprised. 'Wow, he really is a huge fan of this game' she thinks. Turning her attention back to the game she hopes that Chelsea scores soon before Evan has a heart attack. She could only inagine what he was going to be like when Chelsea scored, or worse, when the other team scored. Oh, wince. So Marie was good at observing and remembering though looking around all the colours and the TV and making the connection wasn't much of a genious' work. Evan tried to smile apologetically. She looked lost! And he couldn't just spare all of his time to explain her all the stuff. She just had to watch, listen carefully and use her brains to make the connections. Though he'd of course help her when she needed. This just wasn't that match.
After Rooney's blocked shot, Chelsea's purposeful start had died down and the team found it hard to keep the ball. Every time Manchester got the ball, the blondie turned back and hummed to himself. However, naturally, his curiosity beat him every time and he'd turn back in a second. Manchester was playing better than Chelsea and this stressed him pretty much.
However on 17 minutes, a Ballack ball from deep did clear Brown and reach Drogba but the header at full-stretch lacked direction. Not quite able to hold himself now, he again swore though it was the lightest one for it was for Drogba. "That was just a rehearsal of the goal." he said in a serious and confident manner like he wasn't the one who had just swore to Drogba. "Chelsea will score soon." He talked so to the outside, but he wa about to die from excitement. Chelsea had to win this, or else... there was no or else. He tried to sit down, but got up again when Manchester got the ball. Luckily, it was Ashley Cole now who stopped it. Fair play to the lad.

Deciding it was best not to ask a bunch of questions during the match, Marie just decided to watch and see how much of the game she could figure out on her own. Evan already seemed stressed enough, he didn't need her asking a ton of silly little questions. Well they weren't silly to her, but she knew they would be to him.
Trying not to ask questions was harder than she thought. Everytime she turned to ask Evan something though he seemed like he was ready to jump through the TV so she didn't say anything. Watching him was as much fun as watching the game. He just didn't seem like he could sit still and he was yelling at the TV like they could hear him. Giggling a little to herself she turned back to the TV and thought she better pay attention a little better. What if he asked her questions after the game ended and she didn't know the answers because she had been too busy watching him. What was she going to say, 'Sorry, I don't know, I was watching you instead of the game.' Not very likely she would tell him that so she watched hoping that Chelsea would soon score just so she could see Evan's reaction.

Phoebus ran a hand absentmindedly through his hair when Adrienne mentioned Riley. " yeah, he would think that. And you are kinda terrible at potions." He admitted as he watched her for a moment.
Then she was back on their...subject. He watched her, nodding as she said she'd always considered him a friend. He had too, really. She was never his enemy, that was for sure. " Riley..." He began. " I think he'll either go crazy with horror...or want to kill me. I don't know if this will like jumpstart that mechanism that all guys who have sisters seem to possess. You know, the one that makes them want to be over protective." he smiled weakly. Then he looked nervous before he addressed the other issues. " I don't know what it means either. I just know... I still want to ... kiss you." He said, looking at her. " But you're still my friend too. I don't want us to not be...well, at least what we were when I was still just Riley's side kick, you know?" He said, looking at her with an expression that said he was just as lost as she was.

He said, looking at her with an expression that said he was just as lost as she was. A small smile crept onto Adrienne's face as Phoebus agreed with her comment about what Riley would think. It was impossible not to be even the slightest bit amused, really. "You can't say I don't know my brother's thoughts about me, that's for sure," she said in response, before rolling her eyes playfully. "Don't remind me. Although, I was thinking a while back. Have you seen Kazi around the castle? I haven't, not even at the feast, and I haven't seen any notices for Potions class posted yet either. It kind of makes you wonder . . ."
She trailed off as the subject segued into the subject, though, and her expression turned serious again as he explained his theories about how Riley might react. "You know I wouldn't let him kill you, right?", she said quietly, even though the acoustics in the room made it easier for him to hear her. "Even if he's being bizarrely brother-like." She'd be more apt to think of Christopher as the protective brother, but she knew her older brother trusted her decisions. But as Phoebus's expression turned steadily more worried, she started biting her lip again, until she heard his admission. Blinking as it registered, she thought about it for a second. Sighing a little at the last part, she looked back at him. "I don't think we're exactly not friends right now, but I don't think I could go back to when you were just Riley's best friend who talked to me either. Because I still want to, too." Now was one of those times she wished she could just plant thoughts in his head, so she didn't need to explain it. Or, at least, she wished she wasn't so afraid to move out of her curled up position in her chair.

Alex paced in front of the Room of Requirement. It was Thunderstorming outside, and she jumped at every boom of thunder that rattled throughout the castle. She looked at the door and sighed, she needed to get it together in order for it to make a room for her a Chris. I need a room where we can watch the Thunderstorm. She thought as she bounced back and forth in front of the wall. She heaved a sigh of relief as a door appeared and she stepped inside. It was perfect.
It looked like they were in one of the castle Towers. Small and cozy, with a small fire and a few chairs scattered around a large window. Alex set the ice cream and popcorn down on one of the chairs, her trip earlier to the kitchen had procured them. She walked over to window, and then jumped as lighting lit up the tower and the thunder roared around her. "Dear Merlin..." She whimpered as fled to the door and opened it a bit, waiting for Chris to get there.

"She said up the stairs..." he sighed and shook his head. Despite behind here for a few weeks, the castle was still confusing- although he could get around quite easily now. However, the problem was the parts of the castle he didn't visit often- like this Room of Requirement thing.
He stopped as he raised the parchment once more. "It should be here..." he said, turning around and looking at the strange portraits around him. He was actually just down the hall from it- but he had no way of knowing that. "ALEX!" he called looking up and down the hall- just as thunder rolled, echoing down the hall like the deep tone of a drum.
