"That makes more sense, then," Gold said. She wanted to hold his hand. She didn't really like pianos, she decided. Except that she did. Because they could sound so awesome, when played in the right way. The way Dylan played them. He was terrific.... he was hers.

"I like you."

.....

"Love you, in fact."

Dylan chuckled, "It makes no sense at all." And he knew it. He just did what he was told. "Why those certain letters. Why they go there. Nothing about music makes sense. That's what makes it amazing. You don't have to understand."

He smiled, "I love you too. You are my world."

"It does," Gold said, with a shrug. "A to G... that means there's an order, there. That does make more sense than just a bunch of random letters." She shrugged again, then shook her head. "I mostly like music because I think I can understand it. Even if I don't always get the words -" When the song was, say, in a different language - "There's still this special sense of communication. Emotions."

It felt awfully nice, when he said she was his world. Or was she being sentimental, because of all the music? "Thank you for the reminder," she said, with a soft chuckle.

"Thanks" he said, taking a pastry. "How are you enjoying your day of adventure?" he asked, biting into the carmel pastry. Egypt was a beautiful place, even if thye were still inside Hoqwartz. He wondered how far it woulf let them fly before stopping them, when a billywig flew up to them. Was this a real billywog? or an illusion of the room. He was going to find out. He walked up to the creature, waftd it toward his arm, and after a minute it stung him......

Sabel was about to respond the Alexa's rather monotone response with something a little more upbeat, but apparently she had the mood-change all covered. He knew because he recieved a mouthful of water.

Sputtering and coughing in surprise and reflex, he rolled a few feet and took shelter behind a....minature castle? Blinking through his soaking wet bangs up at the mini-stone structure, Sabel couldn't keep the slight confusion off his face. He knew the Room of Requirement provided what its inhabitants really needed, but he didn't exactly think that he needed a castle.

With a one-shouldered shrug, Sabel dove behind the structure as he pointed his wand in Alexa's direction with a somewhat strangled 'Aguamenti' due to the water still in his throat. He wasn't too sure what the rules on water fights were, especially in the room of requirement, or how wise it was to engage in one while attempting to hide in a synchronous game of hide-and-seek, but you only lived once right? Right.

Avery watched Nymphy follow the billywog. it was fasinating to watch what this room could really come up with. Nymphy followed the creature for a while before it turned and stung him. Avery's heart skipped a beat in her chest. She quickly got up and ran to him nearly crying by the time she got there, she wasn't sure whether this was serious or not. "Nymphy are you okay? Do we need to go the hospital wing?" It was in this moment that Avery realized she cared for Nymphy alot more than she ever realized.

"Calm down!" he said, exasperatedly. "In our last Care of Magical Creatures lesson we did billywigs. They make you float if you get stung......awwww. Here!" he said, raising a few feet into the air. "Thats amazing how the room can replicate things like this" he said, now 5 feet in the air.

Avery breathed a little easier now that she saw that Nymphy was okay. "I missed that lesson, I was really worried about you!" Avery giggled as she watched Nymphy float in the air. Avery grabbed a hold of his leg to make sure he didn't go to high. "I'd hate for you to float away!" Avery smiled at the boy. She never wanted to leave the room of requirement. Avery was perfectly happy here. "When do the effects wear off love?"

"I like music because I can't understand it. You never know what the composer was feeling when they wrote it. He could've been singing about his dog. Yet we interpret it to be about love," Dylan shrugged. It was true, noone could ever know.

"The reminder?" he frowned. What reminder? That he loved her? Or something about worlds. Hmmmm.

"In about 5 minutes depending on the size of the billywig and strenghth of the sting." he recited. "Wanna try?" he asked. He did as he had done in lessons and twirled in mid air. it was quite like being a trapeze artist, but without the unecessary attachment of ropes.

"Does it hurt to get stung?" Avery thought it would be rather fun to float in midair like that. But she was also afraid that it would hurt when she got stung by the creature. "I'm kind of scared Nymphy.....I'm a big baby when it comes to bugs and such!" Avery blushed a red a little, she was scared of just about every thing with wings. She hoped Nymphy did find her too baby-ish for being this way. "Spiders really get to me...too many legs!" She gave a shiver just thinking about spiders, she had rumor tha there was many a spider in the forbidden forest and that was enough to keep her at bay, she didn't need to hear the story of all the other creatures that were in there.

"Thats cool" he said understadingly. "I'm that way with snakes." The effects were waring off. He was worried that he'd fall down the pyrimad. He tried scooting over to the sphynx head in mid-air just incase.

Avery noticed that the effects were starting to wear off. "Nymphy what else should we do today?" Avery knew they had done alot already today and didn't know if Nymphy even wanted to do anything else. "Or should we call it a night?" Avery really wanted to spend the rest of her life in this room of requirement with Nymphy....so couldn't be happier here with him.

Asking the room what he required had been easy, he had been in many similar rooms over the years when things were quiet and all he could do with his time was practice.

Satisfied that everything was in order, Marcus stepped just outside the ROR and held the door open. The girls would not know what to ask for exactly so this way was definitely easier.

He had to admit that he was rather excited about these lessons, it had been a while since he was able to get his hands dirty...so to speak.

It was tuesday night and Ivory was running full speed down the corridor.

Was she excited and a tad nervous? Well excitement was an understatement, and then again so was being nervous, the young girl was grinning from ear to ear with so many butterflies in her stomach she felt as if she should have been floating.

Coming to an abrupt stop in front of the Professor, she stopped a bit to catch her breath. Talking between gasps of air, she greeted the Professor. "Heya ....Sir...Lawson...hows...it....going?"

In that moment, she was ecstatic to notice Arya not too far off, and Ivory of course had to bounce up and down a bit and wave her arm ridiculously regardless of being without air. Yay, Arya !

It had to be on this floor, it just had to be. Arya had searched all the other floors between here and her common room with no avail, so she knew it had to be somewhere on this floor, unless the room was outside, which was impossible cause she had been all over the grounds many a times.


Wistling she looked around the corridor, her brown eyes landing on two familiar faces. A smile streched across her face as she skipped over to Lawson and Ivory."Hey Sir Lawson! Hey Ivy...you alright?" Looking at her friend she was wondering why she seemed so out of breath.

Her eyes left Ivory to take a peek inside the room. Suddenly she was feeling nervious about the lessons, good nervious though, the kind she got before her many competitions."Sooo, we just go on in...."she said to Lawson, but didn't make a move towards the door.

Sir Lawson?

Marcus chuckled heartily at the girls, he quite liked that name. Made him feel like a knight of some sort. "I am doing well girls and it's good to see such enthusiasm."

He opened the door wider and waved the girls in ahead of him, "After you Arya, Ivory."

They would see when they stepped into the room that it was extremely spacious, a couple of dummies stood at one end of the room, some targets at the other, one section of the floor was padded and there were a few objects here and there. It was fairly basic but as the girls progressed so would the room.

Ivory smiled brightly at Arya now that she could breath. "Yup never better I just ran here and had to catch my breath is all..."

Happy the professor liked their enthusiasm, Ivory stepped forward into the room, her eyes roving to take in everything. She'd never been in the room of requirement before but it seemed pretty spacious.

Ooooh. There were even dummies and targets!

"This place looks ready for anything!" Ivory exclaimed as she ran up to poke one of the dummies.

Looking around, it seemed the room did in fact have everything they needed. Which reminded her...

"Umm Sir Lawson...sir...we were just supposed to bring ourselves and our wands right?" Wondering if maybe she was supposed to bring textbooks as well...if she remembered correctly she might have placed them in the moke-skin belt she was wearing but then again she might have forgotten and left them on her bed.

Smiling she glanced back at her friend, glad that she was fine. It wouldn't do her any good to be injured before dueling, not that Lawson would let her had she been.

As Lawson opened the door wider, she jogged past the man beaming with excitment. Once she entered she didn't really stop, just slowed to observe the room. After having class in the creepy DADA classroom she didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't this. No this room looked amazing to her, what with the dummies and targets, she didn't know what to run to first.

And then she saw the padded floor. Well obviously she ran over to the floor first, doing a flip just before reaching the padding and landing facing Ivory and Lawson with a hug grin spread across her face. Arya hadn't fliped like that since being at Hogwarts.

"This is so cool!"Laughter in her voice as she hopped on the padding before doing another flip.

She stoped at Ivory's question and looked at Lawson. All she brought was her wand as well, never thinking she would need a book for a practical lesson.

Stepping into the room behind the two girls, Marcus watched them with amusement as they both surveyed the room. He even gave Arya a round of applause for her two very impressive flips.

He stood in the middle of the room and folded his arms across his chest and answered their questions. "Yes that's all you will need for now. Is just your wands."

He gave his wrist an imperceptible flick and his wand slid neatly into his hand. "Now before we start. I want you to both tell me what is the most important thing you need to know when it comes to defense?"

Ivory scrunched up her face in recollection. One eye squinting.

"Uuh constant vigilance...like being aware of your surroundings and stuff?

It sounded right but who knew maybe it was having a good grip on her wand or wearing comfortable shoes...yeah that last one actually made sense.

"It dowsn't matter to me" he said honestly. "If there is something you wish to do, I would be happy to accompany you, if not I would be glad to get some delicous diner with you as well" The effects of the billywigs had worn off so Nymphy sat in his pink beach chair.

"I could go for some dinner as well!" Avery smiled at Nymphy. "So dinner and then let's call it a night, I'm getting rather sleepy myself, we could go on more excellent adventures tomorrow" Avery got up from her pink beach chair and picked up her back pack and turned to Nymphy waiting for him to pack up all of his stuff as well. Avery waved her wand and watched as her beach chair folded it's self into a tiny box, which Avery then picked up at placed in her back pack. "I'll keep this one for future use!"

Arya flopped down on the padding, crossed her legs and thought about Lawson's question while she played with the hair tie on her wrist.

"Never underestimate your opponent, and its just as important as offence..."She added, trying to recollect what she had heard from thier second DADA class.

She ran her fingers through her hair before pulling into a ponytail. There wasn't much else that she could think of that she and Ivory hadn't already said. Atleast not to her limited knowledge of dueling.

"OK, can't wait!" he said, folding up his beach chair and putting it in his pocket. He dropped a small hankerchief on the spot and led Avery from the room. He'd be back her later tonight to inspect......
