Drifting off into a daydream, she thought about what it would be like to be Tyler's girlfriend. She imagined he was probably really romantic and sweet, the kind of boyfriend who would always hold your hand and open doors for you. It would be nice to be loved by someone, to know without a doubt that they love you. To have someone to have picnics with and study with and sit out in the sunshine with...

Cadence snapped out of her day dream, eyes widening a little bit. "So, um..." Cadence began, stuffing a bite of pastry in her mouth to cover up the awkward moment. Mumbling through a mouthful of pastry, she said "...your niece. She seems kind of old to be a niece. Do you have a sibling who's a lot older than you?" Too.big.a.bite. Cadence couldn't swallow. She hastily grabbed her bottle of pumpkin juice to take a drink, successfully swallowed the mass of pastry in her mouth, but as she was sitting the pumpkin juice back down, her hand slipped and she spilled pumpkin juice all over the floor.

"Oh no, we need..." Cadence began looking around frantically, and then they appeared on the table in front of her, "...napkins. I love this room." She grabbed some napkins and began sopping up the pumpkin juice she had spilled in the floor.

Cadence feigned an offended "ugh!" at his remark about being clumsy and threw a pumpkin juice-soaked napkin at him. "I'm not that clumsy! I'm actually a very graceful person, thank you very much. Okay, maybe that's a lie. I'm only graceful when I'm dancing. Any other time, yeah I'm pretty clumsy." she continued wiping up the pumpkin juice, her face a little red from embarrassment, but she was far from mortified. A strand of hair fell in her face and she tried to blow it and flip it out of her face, but to no success. "Stupid hair! My hands are sticky I can't deal with you right now!"

Tyler laughed and shook his head. Well, Tyler wasn't much of a dancer, he was clumsy as well. But only when he wasn't paying attention to things as much. Other than that, he was pretty stable. She felt him touch her face and warm tingling spread through her body. Her breath caught in her chest for a moment and she looked up, staring steadily into his eyes, and smiled. "I guess I'm just not used to having anyone to impress." After allowing her eyes to linger on his for a moment, she finished cleaning up the pumpkin juice. "Thanks for the help." she said as she straightened up and returned to her seat. "Anyway, that Jake kid, he... he told me that some more kids have died since I left... after that I, I'm not really sure what happened. I remember hearing my wand drop, and the next thing I knew, I was sitting on top of the Jungle Gym." She sighed. "Why am I so weird?" she said with a laugh. "My school was more of a regular high school. We didn't have houses or house points like here. It was hidden as a regular school but ou can always feel the magical atmosphere when you walked in,"
