Kat eyes got huge! Did he just say The Jonas Brothers!!! "EEEEPPPP" She yelled excitedly. "OMG! OMG! OMG! Thanks so mcuh Rex!" She smiled widely and hugged him back. She was going to see the Jonas Brothers!!!

"What?" Kat asked innocently. She watched as Ty threw his hoodie on the ground and stormed off. She shrugged and turned back to Lucy. "Why does everyone assume I did it?" She asked her. She noted the disappointment in her voice. Why was she taking Tyler's side anyways, Lucy was her best friend. She crossed her arms over her chest and said. "Why is it always me? Did it ever occur to you that that spider was just wondering around here and just so happened to like Ty's hoodie?" She raised an eyebrow. Shrugging she turned back to the cake "So who wants cake?" She asked with a huge grin. Good times...good times.

" Kat, you deseve the tickets to the Jonas brothers because you are my good friend" Rex told her. "Do not forget to say Hi to Joe, Kevin and Nick for me when you meet them backstage after the concert" Rex said to Kat. " I know I am a guy, but do you think you could get an autograph for me?" Rex asked Kat. He hugged Kat back. "Cake is great" Rex told her.

Out of all questions? Evan nodded happily, suddenly remembering they'd just defeated the Devil once AGAIN! Terry-Terry-Terry--Evan loved that man. The best defender in the world. What was better than that?

"Oh, um--" he stopped and listened as she added something. No, she was actually stuttering. This brought an amused-in-a-good-way smile to his face. She was so cute. "Alright miss." he said merrily and stepped out of the room with her. Now, where to go?

Dylan finally trudged his way to the seventh floor. He had no idea how to activate the room of requirement. But it suddenly appeared anyway. Well he had been thinking about it. He wanted to play something. His date had gone dreadfully and he needed something to take his mind off it. He strode in, to see it bare with a grand piano in the centre.

Perfect. It was empty. He could play to his hearts content. First on the playlist. He'd have to think of something.

Alexa came to a stop in front of the place she needed. Smiling crookedly up at the wall she then turned and began to pace in front of it. Thinking reaaaaalllllllyyyyy hard that she needed the BEST place ever to hide, she opened her eyes as the door began to form in front of her eyes! SCORE!!

Casting a cautious glance over her shoulder Alexa then opened the door and scooted on inside, letting the door slam behind her.

Nuuuuuuuuuu!!!! He could see the door closing. The door Alexa had slipped in. The end of the run. He was sooo close and she was closing the door!

He tried to slide to a stop, he honestly did. The only problem was that he had been barreling ahead so hard to keep up with her all the traction running shoes could buy wasn't enough to stop him. Skidding as if he was sliding across ice, he slammed full and hard into the door just before it clicked shut. And in he went. That was one way of knocking.

Alexa flicked her wand out of it's holster when she got inside the room. Ahhh, the Room of Requirement. Had she not been here before she may not have thought to seek it out now. But, hehe, she had, and she did. It was the PERFECT hiding place. No one.... Oh bugger! Someone just unceremoniously slid through the door with a crash!

Spinning on her heel she pointed her wand in the direction of the den, only to see Sabel. "Well, that is one way to make an entrance, Sabel! Glad you could keep up, I thought for sure I was going to pass out before I got all the way up here," she said. Just as she thought that she needed some water an intricate water fountain appeared on one wall. Smiling she went over and drank deeply from the fountain. Turning back to face Sabel she said, "We may as well get comfortable, no one is going to find us in here. Not until we are ready to be found. You are actually very lucky you came through that door when you did." SHe thought that she needed a couch and poof it appeared. She threw herself down on it and tried to calm her breathing. THat was some run she just went for

He ended up sprawled on the floor just inside the door which swung solidly shut behind him. That was of course after reverbrating off the wall with a solid bang.

For a long time he just lay there, catching his breath, listening to Alexa's chatter and the soft patter of her feet around the room. He didn't know where she had the air to talk; maybe a hollow leg or somethng. Or he was desperately out of shape. All he knew was that the floor was incredibly comfortable as his muscles breathed oxygen back into themselves and so he continued to lie there.

Somewhere water started trickling over rock and it made him relax even more, his eyes drifting closed. He was sure he would make a good door mat for the next person who charged through the door.

Noticing Sabel was awfully quiet she peeked over and saw he was still sprawled in the floor. EEP! Had she killed him with the running, or the door??!! Jumping up she dropped to her knees beside him and said, "Hey, Sabel... are you okay? Dude... can you hear me?" Ummmm... she was really hoping she hadn't hurt her friend!

Sabel was so comfortable he was just falling asleep when excited...or rather distressed chatter pulled him out of the peaceful, black calm.

Blinking he propped his chin on the floor and squinted up at the girl kneeling beside him. When had she gotten there? Wasn't she just over...He dismissed the thought. He already knew the girl moved like a cheetah. "Eh? Oh...I'm fine."

He spared a cheesy grin and wiggled his feet a little up and down. "Do you think I make a good throw rug?"

Alexa cracked a grin and shook her head at him, "I think you are one silly boy, Sabel. Silly indeed," she said with a chuckle. "And no, I don't think yhou make a decent throw rug, you aren't frilly enough really," she said with a wicked little twinkle in her eye. Whipping her wand around she said, "Orchideous" conjuring up wome gerbera daisies which she tossed down on Sabel's back. Tilting her head to one side she then proclaimed, "Perfect! Now you are just frilly enough" With a tinkling little laugh she bounced back over to the couch the Room had gicen her and plopped down.

"Guys aren't supposed to be frilly."

It was the second time he had been covered in flowers. What was it with girls and covering him in flowers. He took a quick sniff of his underarms. Nope. He smelt fine. He sure hoped he did anyways, having just taken a shower that morning.

Sighing he ignored the flowers and folded his arms under his chin, watching Alexa skip back to the couch. "How in the blazes do you have so much energy still?"

Alexa smiled down at Sabel and said, "Well, some guys are frillier than others and you are the one that mentioned a throw rug, and I like my throw rugs frilly." Ha. How was that for logic... errr... or something like that.

She laughed and shook her head. "REally, I am not sure. I guess I soend so much time being calm and collected... for the most part that when I get to let loose all of the super crazy pent up energy comes oozing out," she told him a shrug. He knew a little about her, but not a lot. Eh, if he asked she'd tell him. But he had to ask the right questions. What better time to bond than when they are hiding from a 5th year in a hidden room.

Marilyn had every intention on returning to her dorm...at first. That was...until she really thought about it. What would she do once she got there, though? Sulk on her bed with the curtains down? No, that was not going to happen. Her helplessness over this entire matter was not going to break her. Not everything was her fault...Realizing it was going to be a little more difficult, however. So, in order to retain what little sanity she still had, a piano needed to found.

This is how Marilyn found herself pacing in front of the blank stretch of wall on the seventh floor. The blonde always felt a little ridiculous pacing back and forth, but the motions didn't disappoint her now. Quite suddenly a door materialized, causing her to sigh in relief. Music was her savior and she needed her desperately now. Darting into the room, she was met with not just a piano, but several different instruments. A guitar, cello...violin, and even a set of drums. She had no use for the many musical outlets in the room...just the baby grand piano.

Taking a seat, she ran her fingertips over the keys, enjoying their smooth cool texture. Marilyn knew not when she began playing, but she had. Her fingers moving in their fluid motion to create some muggle song she'd picked in the states. The keys weren't exactly deep but the sorrowful undertone was there, which matched everything the Slytherin felt. No, she didn't love Carter...and she was relieved that the mess was officially over...but it still hurt. Hurt so much that tears began falling from her green eyes for the second time that night...and she couldn't stop them.

Rafe thought Marilyn would be heading straight to the dungeons, where surely he wouldn't be able to reach her, but instead she headed upstairs. This gave him a little bit of time to run back to the Great Hall to grab that box he'd been saving for her. She was definitely one that was quick on her feet, but Rafe wasn't far behind and quickly caught up. He hoped he didn't offend her in anyway, there was no telling what all she overheard. He just wanted Carter to take things out on Rafe and not be so hard on Marilyn. He knew how much Carter meant to her, even as a friend and would hate to see that friendship tarnished forever. However, he felt like his attempts were shattered and right now he just wanted to wrap his arms around her.

Up, up, up they stairs she went right to the seventh floor. He watched her from around the corner as she paced where the room of requirement was and saw her slip through the door, he had only milliseconds to catch it before it closed. He slowly slipped in quietly, maybe this wasn't the time. Maybe she didn't want to be disturbed. He made his way around all the instruments, but kept quiet in the shadows. She was playing such a sad song and Rafe wasn't quite sure how to feel, but nonetheless it was beautiful. As she played the last few notes, he began to clap. "Encore!" he shouted cheerfully, but he knew she'd been crying.

He took a seat next to her on the piano stool, the box in his pocket and he put his arm around her and then wiped the tears away with his free hand. "I'm so sorry you feel like this," he said softy, trying to pick his words carefully. "This is actually a good setting..." he said as he looked at the piano with its wet keys from her tears. Ever since he spent that time with her in the dungeon and he learned that she played piano and he gave her the tie one, he wanted to understand piano just a little more and been...well, she would soon see. He placed his finger on the keys...this wasn't something he was comfortable with and he hadn't practiced long, but he did the best he could.

Marilyn wasn't surprised at all when she felt Rafe's comforting warmth wrap around her smaller body. He always knew when she needed him...and she'd never been more grateful for it or for him. Why couldn't others understand how she felt?

There was something much greater than herself that pulled her towards Rafe. She'd felt utterly devoted to him long before he'd ever made his move behind that suit of armor...Although, Marilyn had mistaken the intense feelings for something else. But his kiss had done something to her. It had changed everything. It had been torture staying away from Rafe, trying to keep some distance there...for Carter. But Carter couldn't understand. He'd never know the intensity of what Marilyn felt for Rafe. Yes, she was young...but perhaps it was her pure blood and strong magical ancestry that allowed her young heart to know what she felt for Rafe wasn't fake. That it indeed was the real deal.

Why did they have to make her feel so ashamed and guilty? "It just hurts, Rafe. Why does he have to make me feel bad for loving you?" Resting her forehead against his strong chest, she openly cried. It was a true testament to how much she trusted him, finally pouring everything out in front of this guy she loved so very much. Marilyn didn't know how long she'd sat there like that...She'd built things up for so long that the tears just wouldn't stop coming.

Rafe had began to play something, and it had an instant soothing effect. Her tears had reduced to soft hiccups, her shaking body somewhat stilled. Though her stripped emotions, Marilyn offered him a watery smile. "When did you learn to play?...That was beautiful."

Rafe felt a bit relieved when he saw a smile on her face, he knew he missed a few keys here and there, he was still learning, flipping through sheets of music at night under his sheets. He definitely got the 'Lumos' spell down in the process as well. "It was just a little something I've been working on. I wanted to surprise you when I got better, but I thought given the circumstances you could use a little cheering up." Rafe wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly to his chest. He didn't want to let her go. He could feel every breath she took and could even since her fluttering heartbeat, "The song is called 'Kiss the Rain'...I thought it sounded a bit like you, light and beautiful, but very elegant." Rafe kissed her on her head, taking in her sweet scent.

"I know it hurts love," Rafe said softly. "Time will mend things and maybe one day he'll come around and forgive, but at least there's still us. I promise never to hurt you, not like his performance back there." Rafe was still disgusted at Carter's actions, it was completely over the top. Rafe didn't really want to dwell on the subject much longer. He wanted to enjoy this moment of having Marilyn in his arms without this overwhelming sense of guilt for the first time. "Also..." Rafe said as he slightly pulled back, "Before we got interrupted at the Great Hall, I think I promised to give you a little something." He pulled out the white box in his pocket and opened it, revealing a charm bracelet inside.

"The wolf represents loyalty and intuition, among the obvious of course," Rafe smiled widely. "The mushrooms represent immorality and eccentricity, as well as happiness and prosperity...I know I would dedicate my life to making you happy," Rafe's ears were slightly turning red, "The Forget-Me-Not Flower represents true love and memories, and I hope we share many more than we have already. Then the rabbit represents innocence, and it's kind of cute I might add. And then the golden rose is a symbol of perfection because to me you are Marilyn. I wouldn't want to change one thing about you. I love you, always." Rafe took in a deep breath. Maybe he put way too much thought into the gift, but he thought it was something kind of simple she might like.

Chuckling, Sabel rolled onto his back, folding his arms under his head. The throw rug concept didn't make a lot of sense, but he wasn't going to argue about it. There was no one to see him covered in dasies, but even then, it was all in good fun.

His eyes skirted over the ceiling of the room, listening to Alexa talk, nodding his understanding. "Being level-headed is a good quality. And you have a good way of taking out frustration." He rolled his head over to look at her and gave her a gentle smile. "But you are allowed to express yourself. Never doubt that."

Marilyn looked back down at the ivory keys, still so torn and upset...but Rafe's words did make her laugh. Although, she felt the sound came out slightly more sarcastic than she would've liked..."I don't feel very beautiful or elegant at this point...Just stupid." She frowned, leaning into his warmth more. "I still want to physically hurt him for speaking to me the way he did..."

"And time won't heal this. Sometimes when things are said...they can't be taken back." She looked up at Rafe with now dry eyes. There were no more tears left, and Marilyn was pleased they'd stopped coming. How could she deserve Rafe after everything she'd done? How could she be so completely in love with him and have him so totally in love with her? "I feel like I don't deserve your love." She gave him a sad smile, moving up a bit to kiss his cheek. "And I know you'd never hurt me. I've never been so sure of anyone in my entire life."

At seeing the box being pulled out again, Marilyn sighed. "I wished I would've known you were getting me something. I feel bad not having anything to give you." As he opened the long white box, she actually smiled. It was a beautiful charm bracelet...Merlin, she loved charm bracelets. Outside of her grandmothers locket, Marilyn could always be seen with one clasped around her wrist. This one would be special, though. Not just because it was from Rafe...but because it was given at a significant time. This was the end of one relationship and the beginning of another. She couldn't help but to unclasp the one she was wearing, stowing it in her pocket to have Rafe put the new one on her.

She listened carefully to his description of each individual charm on the chain, finding it in herself to smirk down at the tiny wolf. Rafe's thoughtfulness always amazed her. He seemed to know exactly what she wanted and just how far to go. She knew this particular bracelet would be her favorite and, more importantly, that she'd never take it off. Marilyn was sure that if she hadn't of had a weep-a-thon, she'd be in tears right now. "I really do love you, Rafe." Her voice was hoarse from being unused and the crying. "And while it might not seem like it, you always make me so happy."

"Honestly, I liked being a bit more random than I am now, but me mum and dad... and especially my grandmum were unhappy with my lack of concentration... or was it motivation... anyway it was one of those ations," she said with a chuckle. She began conjuring butterflies to flutter around the room and up to the ceiling.

"And I do express myself, just the only problem is, my mouth tends to get me in trouble sometimes," she said with a slight frown. Not to mention the fact that if she really said the things that she wanted to say, most of the time, she would get into heaps of trouble. Teehee. Being opinionated and opressed at the same time really really stunk!

Sabel nodded in understanding. He knew what parents could be like. It was in their job description and he loved his own for it.

Reaching up he gently caught one of the butterflies, holding it in his hand as he lowered his arm. Laughter left him at her words about her mouth getting her in trouble. "Oh believe me, I know what you mean." His mind rewound to the beginning of the school year as he opened his hand, watching the butterfly sit on the palm of his hand. He knew very well.

Avery had opened the door and saw the Eygption pyramids all around the room. "This room is amazing! I can't believe it gave us what we wanted!" Avery quickly gave Nymphy a hug becuase she was so excited about this room. When she looked to the left a little she also saw two firebolts waiting for them. "There must be some sort of charm that doesn't allow you to take things out of the room! Other wise everyone would just wish for money and we would all be rich!" Avery couldn't wait to explore and ride around the pyramids. This was going to be the best day at Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardy ever!!!!!

Rafe always took comfort in everything Marilyn said. He wished she didn't cry, but that finally seemed to stop. Rafe chuckled about her comment about getting him something, "There's no need. I just saw it and thought of you." Rafe felt a little bad that she took off her original charm bracelet, but was delighted to see her reaction. It was like he was studying her expressions and taking it all in. This would be one of those moments that he wanted to remember every detail. The way the keys still glistened with her tears, the way she examined each of the charms and the way she looked absolutely beautiful even though her eyes she showed signs that she was crying.

Rafe caressed her cheek with the palm of his hand. "You're the one that truly makes me happy. I'm so glad I met you in Diagon Alley, I can't even imagine what it would have been like if we hadn't spoken." Rafe laughed. "I figured you'd walk off from such a sweaty guy, but you stuck around. But, even if we didn't have that day, I have a feeling I would have found you nonetheless. You're like a magnet!" Rafe was grinning ear to ear and he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek, very close to the corner of her lips. "Would you like to return the slumber party or just stay here for a little while?"

"I imagine its like leprecahn gold, it'll just vanish after a bit" he said, looking at the awe-inspring pyrimids in the Egyptian sunset. "Let's do this. It looks super fun!" he said, mounting his broom.

Avery followed suite and mounted her broom. She kicked off the ground hard and soared shooting up into the air. "Weeeeeee" Avery screamed with joy as she spun a few circles and managed to stay on her broom. "You take the lead Nymph! And I'll follow you" Avery searched the air for Nymphy.
