OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Ashford. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.

Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area (either on foot or via mobilicorpus‎), you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Area. Healer Ashford will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.

If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, Healer Ashford will escort you (or utilize mobilicorpus‎) to the Hospital Ward. It is in the Hospital Ward where you will receive further medical attention that will surely heal you and get you back on your feet.

OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Ashford will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.

"Duhh-don't even nuhh-need your hhhelp," Jake muttered, releasing his hold on Lawson as though he'd suddenly been hit with an electric shock. The boy avoided looking at anyone here, suddenly feeling very upset and wanting to shout and scream and whatever. Why? He didn't know... "Yuhh-you ssstay with yuhhh-your ffffavourite sssstudent," Jake added, feeling as though those words should be said with spite but not managing it. Without another word, Jake left the room pretty swiftly for someone feeling a bit dizzy and queasy.

Mind you, he probably wouldn't make it far.

Looking dazed and confused, Jake looked up at the man with a pleading look. He needed to talk to the guy anyway, and he didn't want to leave on his own... since he felt icky anyway.

Oh... he needed to go. One look at that leg was enough to make him nearly swoon...

As Gabriella continued to circle her wand around the broken parts of Dylan's leg, she heard Jake thank everyone for their part in healing his nose. "You're very welcome, Mr. Upstead. I'm glad to know I'm sending you off with an unbroken nose. Hopefully your classmates have learned their lesson about playing fairly, as well." She suspected Marcus had assigned the kid a rather terrible detention for hurting Jake.

"Now I'll need to brace it, so you may be down for a little while. The good news is that you'll be dismissed as soon as the brace is secured."

"Thank you Ellie. It was a pleasure meeting you." Marcus reached out and gave her shoulder a small squeeze. Not only was she friends with Iliana but she had taken really good care of Jake. "Maybe next time, we can get together on more of a social level."

It seems that someone was not going to wait for him. Marcus frowned at Jake's retreating back before giving both Dylan and Ellie an apologetic look.

"Sorry about that" he said as he started to move towards the door. "Dylan when you're feeling better we'll head off for that drink in Hogsmeade."

Marcus made his way out the door after the following the little brat that had just left and who was just about to receive a very stern talking to.

Pop? Where did the pop come from? He eyed his leg. His leg had done that. Wow. That actually hurt. Dylan clenched his teeth, and closed his eyes. Not unbearable. He was merely getting an injection. Just a jab. Not resetting his bones at all. He took a deep breath and opened his eyes again as the pain receeded.

"Brace it?" he frowned, "Can I wear my trainers over it?" Oh he was not going around with only one shoe on. That was not cool.

Dylan nodded, as Professor Lawson left, "I would like that very much Sir."

"It was nice meeting you, as well," she said. Despite the fact that the two of them were both staff members here at Hogwarts, they actually hadn't been able to sit down and have a good 'getting to know you' conversation. She tilted the crutches against the bed then began snapping the brace into position. Just as she promised, it didn't cover Dylan's foot at all.

"The brace will be worn for about a month. You'll have to be careful not to get it wet or damaged. If you do, just come back in, and I'll replace it," she instructed. She eyed Dylan for a moment, wondering if he'd be the type of kid to break all the 'leg brace' rules she just gave him.

Gabriella nodded in reply to Dylan's question. "Yes, you may take it off to shower. It's not a big deal to take it off for a small amount of time each day, since the bones are already mended," she answered. She hoped the boy would be responsible with the brace. Had she not trusted him to be responsible, she wouldn't have revealed that he could occasionally take it off in the first place.

She watched him as he stood and grabbed a hold of the crutches. He seemed to be making do just fine---so far. "Yes, of course this is necessary. I wouldn't have braced your leg in the first place had it not been," she replied. "Alright, Mr. Denver, I'm trusting you to be responsible with this. Exercise caution and come back to see me in one month. I'll remove the brace for good then. Have a good day."

Dylan nodded, with a sigh. He had to wear the contraption for a whole month. With crutches. He was gonna milk it for all it was worth. No physical exertion at all. That meant no sports, nothing. He smiled to himself as he left. "Thank you for fixing me up," he waved, to the nurse. Hobble, hobble, hobble.

With Marcus, Dylan, and Jake now gone, Gabriella knew that she was needed back in the waiting room. She still had a few patients waiting to be seen---about five or so if she remembered correctly. Dinner hour was quickly approaching, and she imagined the children would like to be in and out before the food was completely cleared away. Not to mention that Gabriella was a bit hungry herself. With that thought in mind, she hurried from the back area and straight towards the waiting room.

Ziva found herself in the third room of the Hospital Ward. She sat down on the bed wondering when Healer Ashford was going to get to her. There was two others in front of her after all, probably with worse conditions than her.

A moment later, the door to room three opened, and Gabriella made her way in. "Hello again, Miss Holden. I'm glad to see you're still awake and seem to be sitting up nicely on your own," she commented. She grabbed a nearby stool and scooted it closer to the bed, taking a seat a second or two later. "I understand you were hit by soccer ball, hmm? Are you still hurting badly, or have you started to feel better at all?" she asked. Gabriella imagined that the worst was over now that Ziva had awakened. She'd probably be sore for a few days, though.

Gabriella guessed they didn't like the taste of it. "I'm estimating that they'll go away in about the same amount of time any other bruise would. Ziva seemed worried about her bruising, which was perfectly understandable, so Gabriella wanted to make sure she put the girl at ease before she left. "You'll be just fine, Miss Holden. Impressed by the politeness Ziva exhibited, Gabriella smiled at the young Hufflepuff. "You're welcome, Miss Holden," she said, her voice trailing off as she, too, headed out the room. Time to go retrieve the last two patients then try and find something to eat for dinner. Gabriella did believe she'd worked straight on through the meal served in the Great Hall.

Once Nicoletta was safely on the bed, Gabriella turned to see if perhaps Lars had followed suit, as well. From what she could tell, he hadn't, so she had no other choice but to give the girl on the bed a potion to awaken her. Thankfully, some smart little cookie had developed a potion that was easy enough, even for unconscious people, to drink. She retrieved a phial of it and brought it to Nicoletta's lips. As soon as the girl awakened, Gabriella could talk to her and figure out what had happened.

As she was unconcious the nurse had given her a potion to wake her up. "Where am I?" she asked frantically. Seeing the white wall and the beds, she answered the question herself. "Oh man! How long was I out for."

"Try and calm down, Miss Davis. I'm sure you've gathered that you're in the Hospital Wing and that you'd been unconscious. However, I'm not sure how long you were out for. You came here from History of Magic...or from the professor's office," she answered. She wasn't quite sure where the girl had been when she'd passed out. "Do you have any idea what caused you to pass out?"

My mum would give me a potion to make me sleep all day so I wouldn't pass out in the middle of doing something. She started doing this after I passed out holding a knife." not a pleasent memory. "I haven't had a problom with it since I was about nine. Really odd stuff would trigger them too. Like the smell of vanilla, or seeing a burning match. Usually I can calm myself down enough to stop them. Stuff starts going fuzzy and spins and I can't breath right before I pass out." Hmm, I think that's about it. Nicoletta thought to herself.

Gabriella took the phial Nicoletta had drunk from and discarded of it. "You're very welcome, Miss Davis. I'm just happy to see you all better," she said, turning back to the girl with a small smile. "Potions are different for every person, so it's hard to tell how long this dose will be effective. It lasts a while, though." Gabriella thought about the question a little more, trying to give Nicoletta more of a definite answer. "It should keep you from having to be admitted into the healing area for a while, at least."

Seeing that Nicoletta was now much better, Gabriella figured it was safe to dismiss her. "You're free to leave now, Miss Davis. I'm glad you're feeling much better," she said, heading to the door. "Have a good day!"
