Mina nodded and relaxed a bit, Healer Ashford was right. She really didn't need to worry. She was going to be fine and she was safe now. "Thank you, Healer Ashford." she smiled as she hopped off the bed and headed toward the door. She had a long way to go to get back to the tower and she needed to get a move on. Her bed and rest were calling.

Marie entered room one of the healing area hoping it wouldn't be much longer before she could leave. She looked over at Carter who was smiling at her and felt a little better knowing he was there for moral support. "Thanks again for coming with me. You probably had other things you wanted to do today and here you've been stuck with me all day." It really felt good having a friend with her, especially since she didn't know where Evan was. Carter was helping her more than he knew.

"It's fine. Really." Carter said with a smile. Weirdly enough this was almost an escape from everything that had been going on. "Hello again." he said to Healer Ashford.

Ema listened to the healer, her head still tilted. She took in every word carefully: she didn't want to understand anything wrong.

"Oh." she was so hoping that there was at least something that was fit for everyone. "Oh...okay. Last term he told me to come to the healer, and...well, it wasn't you then, but he just wasn't sure. But thanks for err - clearing it up I guess." Ema gave her a small smile and sighed. So much for that.

Ema nodded and waved goodbye as Ashford left the room, biting her lip. She gave one last shrug and shuffled out of the room herself, scrunching her nose up and down to see if it hurt.

It didn't. Thank goodness!

Gabriella spared another smile for Jasmina then nodded in reply to the girl's appreciation. She then turned her attention to the Hufflepuff girl seated on the nearest bed. This one was Delanie, if Gabriella remembered correctly. "Miss Chanel," she greeted, taking a seat on a nearly stool.

She spent the next several minutes examining the girl and trying to figure out exactly what was causing her flu-like symptoms. In the end, oddly enough, Gabriella determined that Delanie was suffering from flu-like symptoms, because she...well---had the flu. "You'll need a Pepperup Potion," she declared, walking away for a moment to retrieve a phial of the potion. "Now when you drink this, it'll cause a light steam to erupt from your ears, but you'll feel lots better afterward." She passed the phial to Delanie and waited for her to drink up.

With Delanie drinking the Pepperup Potion, Gabriella left her bedside and went to see to the Slytherin girl, Marie Salazar, who was here for a flying-related injury. "Hi, Miss Salazar...Mr. Phillips," she greeted, nodding towards both Marie and the Gryffindor boy who'd accompanied her. She then grew quiet as she studied Marie's injuries, noting that the only thing she'd probably be able to do anything about was the busted lip. The other injuries would just require waiting for the soreness for its way out.

Gabriella cleaned the blood from Marie's face then rubbed a bit of ointment on the bleeding part. "I've cleaned and applied ointment to your cut, so it should be healed within the course of a few hours. Until then, just watch to make sure it doesn't start bleeding again, and if it does, just apply a little pressure to it with a napkin," she instructed. As she talked, she studied Marie's lip, but so far, no excess blood was trickling out. "As for your soreness, that'll just have to work itself out in time. A good night's rest will take care of that, though."

Delanie nodded as the healer spoke to her. "Thank you," she said as she took the phial from Ashford. Eeh, she really hated medicine stuff. Closing her eyes and trying not to pout, she pinched her nose and gulped the liquid down in one drink. Eep! Steam was coming out of her ears! If she hadn't been feeling so bad, she would've thought that was hilarious. Opening her eyes, Dee blinked a few times as the potion ran through her system. Oh, great! She was feeling much better! Her symptoms were practically flying away. She smiled and exclaimed, "I feel so much better!" She was truly shocked the potion had worked that quickly. Even though she was a pureblood witch, magic still surprised her. "Am I free to go now?"

Oh no, Healer Ashford was here. Marie's lip was already hurting so she really didn't want anyone touching it, that would just make it hurt worse. She knew this was something that had to be done but really she was not ready for more pain. She looked over to Carter and grabbed his hand for moral support. If the healer hurt her she would just squeeze his hand and hope he wouldn't mind.

"Hello Healer Ashford" she said with a little nervousness in her voice.

She really wanted Evan there with her but at the same time was sort of happy he wasn't. She didn't want him to know she fell off that stupid broom because she had promised him she would never fall while flying. Plus she didn't want him to see her with that stupid fat lip.

Whoa...What...She was touching her lip... "Ouch, that hurts," she said as she gave Carter's hand a squeeze. Not wanting to be a total baby about this she took a deep breath and closed her eyes while the healer continued to clean the blood away. She then felt her put something on her lip that was sort of cooling and kinda made the lip feel a little better.

What.. she was done already. Well that wasn't so bad, Marie had been worried about nothing. She let go of Carter's hand. "Sorry about the squeezing, hope I didn't hurt you," she said.

She listened as the healer told her what she needed to do. "So all the swelling should be gone by the end of the day?" That was a relief, she didn't want to have to walk around with a puffy lip for too long. She still didn't want Evan to see it. "I'm not going to have a scar am I?" She said suddenly. If he seen a scar on her face he would know something happened. She was NOT ready to explain this to him.

Carter felt Marie suddenly grab his hand and squeeze. Which, strangely enough wasn't the first time that had happened to him. Apparently he had a very comforting hand. He'd have to make a note of that.

"No, I'm fine." he said. Mina had squeezed it much harder... and even that wasn't as bad as when he hit the stands during the quidditch championship game last term.

"See, that wasn't that bad, was it?" he said. "Aren't you glad you came?" A little bit of ointment was much better than walking around with a sore bleeding lip.

Marie was happy to hear that he was fine. "Yeah, I guess I'm glad you brought me here, thanks for looking out for me." She said. "At least now I won't have to try and explain a fat lip to Evan." She really didn't want to have to tell him about this.

Looking over at Healer Ashford she said, "Thanks for cleaning me up. Can I go now?" She was feeling tired and just wanted to go lay down and rest.

Carter laughed. "Well a healed lip is much better than a busted one." he said. "Where you not planning on telling Evan?" he asked when Marie said that she was spared from doing that.

"Mmhmm," Gabriella told Marie, nodding in reply to the girl's question about the swelling being gone by the end of the day. A busted lip was actually a quite common injury and usually required little or no healing at all. The healer was confident that Marie would be all better in just a few hours. "It shouldn't scar, no. Usually only very serious lip injuries leave a scar, and your injury, although painful, wasn't very major at all."

She smiled when Marie thanked her for healing her lip. "You're welcome, dear, and yes---both of you may leave now. Have a good day," she said, motioning towards the door.

Gabriella laughed lightheartedly at how excited Delanie seemed to be at feeling much better. "Yes, the potion is rather remarkable, isn't it?" she responded. She backed away a bit, as the steam shot through the air. Ahh, the sight of yet another healed student!

"Yes, dear, you're free to go. I'm glad you're feeling much better now," she answered. "Have a good day!"

"It is," Delanie replied, still surprised at how quickly she had recovered from her sickness. She had been feeling bad for weeks! and it only took a second to heal her. She should've went to the nurse a long time ago! Deciding that she was no longer scared of the hospital wing, she smiled to the nurse and said, "Thank you again! You have a great day, also!" And with that, she turned and practically ran out of the room.

"You're right, at least now I won't have a deformed lip." That would just be bad if she did. "Umm, no, not exactly," she said about telling Evan. "It's not that I want to keep secrets from him but you see, I sort of promised him I would never fall off my broom. He isn't very fond of flying and well if he knew about this then he might get a little upset. I don't want him to worry about me every time I go flying." Thinking about this she wondered if not telling him was the right thing to do. "Do you think I am wrong for not telling him?" She asked.

She was relieved to hear that she wouldn't have a scar, now maybe she would be able to hide this from Evan. She would just have to go a few more hours without seeing him.

"Thanks again for everything," she said as she jumped off the table.

Looking over at Carter she said, "Ready to go? I think I want to go rest for awhile and give this swelling some time to go away." Hopefully she wouldn't run into Violet when she got to the dorm room. She was not in the mood for fighting with her today.

Carter was about to answer when the Healer came by and said if was fine for them to leave. "Thank you Healer Ashford." he said getting up.

"Yeah, rest sounds like a good idea. And it was no problem, really." he said with a smile. He was just felt a little sorry for her that it was him with her and not Evan. Oh well.

And with that, Carter made his way to the door and left.

As she went about the room, tidying the place and getting it ready for the next visitor, Gabriella turned to Delanie and smiled, as well. "I'm happy to help, dear, but you're welcome," she responded. She lightly laughed when the girl suddenly jumped from her hospital bed and literally ran from the room. At least she was assured that one was healed!

"...and of course you two are welcome, as well. I'm glad you're feeling better," she said, directing that last comment to Marie. Oddly enough, though, Carter had just been in the Hospital Wing himself. It was nice of him to return to accompany a friend, though. She finished the last of her tidying them followed the two out the room.

Destiny was slightly dizzy when she finally made it into the healing area. From the loss of blood or from being levitated, she did not know. Better to just say it was from both, since she didn't want it to be from just the blood.

Blood was bad.

She could have really used someone in the room with her, but Evelyn was in another room, hopefully feeling a lot better than herself. Destiny would have even allowed Lawson to be in the room with her..

'I'm..cold..' she managed to whisper to the Healer. There were other things she wanted to say, but she couldn't.

Like..how hungry she was.

Once the young Slytherin girl was safely on a bed, Gabriella raised her wand and casted a heating charm. She realized the girl was in a great deal of pain, then to bed freezing on top of that---none of it sounded good at all. "There, that sound make you feel warmer," Gabriella said, eying the many injuries the girl had obtained. Surely there would be some end to the injuries soon. They wouldn't continue to happen over and over again...would they?

The healer began by gently unwrapping the bandages around Destiny's stomach. There was still a good deal of blood coming through, so Gabriella know there must be a pretty deep wound in that area. Sure enough, there was a huge gash right where the bandages used to be. Gabriella cringed a little but started cleaning the are and sealing the wound anyway.

Ribs---there were broken ribs. Three, Gabriella could tell. It took some time to shift the bones back into place and piece them together, but a few pops later and Destiny no longer had any broken ribs. She stopped working for a moment to make sure Destiny was making it through the healing process alright. So far, so good, it seemed.

An orange paste was spread over the bruises, and a different ointment was used for the pricks. Gabriella cleaned the blood off the girl's ankles and placed a bandage over the small wounds. A final examination told the healer that she'd tended to all Destiny's injuries. "Miss Shepard, how are you feeling?" she asked.

The heating charm the healer had cast made Destiny feel slightly warmer, too bad it didn't help the pain. Pffft, if only heating charms could cure everything.. Destiny closed her eyes while the healer took care of her. She had really hoped this healing process would be painless, for she couldn't take anymore of it.

Wrong. It would not be painless.

Destiny cringed as the bandage on her stomach was removed. Merlin that had hurt. Actually, it didn't hurt. It was just unexpected and it might have scared her a little bit. As the wound was sealing, Destiny closed her eyes even tighter. It was such a weird feeling, to feel your skin pull back together, and it was something she would not want to happen ever again. Next term, if she would return to Hogwarts, she would be prepared with a suit made out of bubble wrap. That would keep her safe. Unless people pop her bubbles..and she would have to stay away from sharp objects and fire and...

She opened her eyes wide as she heard the popping noise. All thoughts of a bubble wrap suit out of her mind, for now, Destiny felt the pain in her chest slowly go away. Her ribs were fixed, and that made it so much easier to breathe. Destiny took a deep breath and closed her eyes again. That felt good.

She didn't bother to open her eyes at the pastes that was being applied to the bruising. It was probably the same thing she had used last term with her black eye. It smelled horrible, but it did get the job done. That was all she was worried about..for now anyway. Destiny felt the Healer clean and place and bandage her ankles. That was where the bites were..maybe they were from her cat..After all, he was a little upset at her since she wouldn't let him eat anymore grass..But he wouldn't bite her over that. He was a good kitty. And then she heard the question that she could not answer. Well, she could, but they would be in the room for hours. How was she feeling? Tired, sore, confused, scared..but then she knew exactly what to say, 'Hungry.'

After almost dying, she needed food.

For a moment, Gabriella wasn't sure if Destiny was going to reply---or if she even could reply. The healer's eyebrows wrinkled in concern, but then, just in time to prevent any additional worrying, the Slytherin girl spoke. Gabriella released a breath she hadn't realized she was holding in. Hungry was definitely a positive response. Being hungry meant the girl was no longer in so much pain, but was feeling well enough to know she needed food.

"Hungry...well, you're just in luck then. It's dinnertime, so if you're up to it, you can head to the Great Hall for dinner," she explained. Gabriella stepped away from the bed and began to put away the healing materials she'd used. "You're free to go, dear. A good night's rest should make you feel even better."

It was dinnertime?

How long was she in this room? Or a better question was how long was she injured? Sitting up straight, Destiny took a look down at her dirty, ripped and bloody pyjamas. Yeah, she would have to go get changed before she even went into the Great Hall.

She was in fact, a hot mess.

Sliding off the table, Destiny slowly made her way over to the door. Although the pain from the cuts and bruises were gone, her body still ached all over. But as the Healer had said, a good nights rest would make her feel even better.

Opening the door, Destiny turned to the Healer, 'Thank you Healer Ashford!' she said giving the woman a wave before she left.

Maybe she wouldn't change her clothes before going to the Great Hall. She was far too hungry to wait.

It wasn't until Destiny slid off the table and made her way to the door that Gabriella realized she was a little on the hungry side, as well. No, maybe really hungry was a better way to state how she felt. She tried to think back on the last time she ate, and she was fairly sure it had been at breakfast sometime around seven in the morning.

With that thought in mind, she followed Destiny to the door. "You're welcome, dear. I'm glad you're feeling better," she said. "Have a good day!" Gabriella reached over and turned the knob on the door. With a little smile towards Destiny, she made her way out the room.
