Stumbling into the Great Hall, Lucy eyed her classmates and...those other people who weren't her classmates. Instantly, she was reminded of the almighty food fight involving the most disgusting thing of all: PIE. Ugh. Seriously, though? How the heck do people tolerate pie? It's watery, and mushy, and squishy, and melty, and icky, and sticky, and the crust is always salty and...EWW. It's like drinking a slushie only worse. The thought of eating pie made her want to puke right in the entrance of the Great Hall, but she was remembered of another puking incident...double EWW.

Yeah...no. Lucy gulped loudly, and casually walked over to the Ravenclaw Table. Hello, Ravens. How uncomfortable she felt around most of them. Out of the entire Ravenclaw house, she met very few people like Annie, and Livvy, and William and Xanderman and...well, that was it. Maybe she'll meet up with one of them soon. Hopefully...before any of wackos try to talk to her and freak her out. The only problem was that it would probably take a long time...she still wasn't known by many and at the moment, she preferred the company of those whom she already knew. And on top of that, she promised Tammy not to cause trouble for anything, and stay in school and...AGH. But it seemed to fun to mess with people's heads. But that obviously that wasn't going to happen this year. She had to sit up straight and act..."normal" and..."proper."

PUH.

Owain brightened as he noticed two new Ravenclaws; talking to the older students had settled his nerves a bit but there was nothing like being able to talk to people of your own age.
Now was "not the time to be shy" he could almost hear his mother's parting words.
He smiled and began thinking of ways he could chat to his fellow newcomers without coming across as rude.

Yelping Allison looked at the hand and the boy whose hand it belonged to. He sat with an air of confidence that was unknown to Allison. Usually it inspired curiosity on her and the questions would begin to rain, however in this case, Allison slightly rose her eyebrow and stared into the boys blue eyes on the verge of purple.

"Too? Ah. Yes, just got sorted," she pointed at the Sorting Hat which was currently on another student's head. Looking at her hand, she thought she should use it, "Allison Scott. You said too, are you a transfer?" Allison offered her hand.

Mina smiled as she saw Rex. "Hello, Rex. I see you didn't hurt yourself." she teased. "I managed to make it off the train without harm as well." She was quite graceful actually. "Victoria! Yes, we are friends. I went to her aunt's wedding and I'm friends with her boyfriend, Jason. He's the Jason I told you about. I adore that guy." she nodded as she thought of her friend. Magical Five Oh yes, she still needed to meet everyone. "You know I still have to meet everyone in the Magical Five and this Kay too. I know a Kay I met last year, so I wonder if it's the same Kay." she teased a little. She knew if would be a matter of time before he charmed a girl.
Mina looked back to the table and noticed a firstie. She reminded her of herself last year. Smiling she waved to the girl. "Welcome to Ravenclaw! I'm Jasmina, but you can call me Mina."
Mina noticed yet another addition to the table and waved. He's kind of cute. Oh no, the voices were starting again. She had to scold herself over the voices. They would definitely get her in trouble again this year. Silencing the voices, she smiled. "Welcome to Ravenclaw! I'm Mina."

Keeley looked around the table, mildly interested in the other students. Why was she so unsocial?! If only Bella would take her nose out of that book to chat, but she was still engrossed. Ugh. Hmm... maybe a firstie would be brave enough to alk to someone older than them, but they tended to be just as shy as she. It wasn't that she didn't like people, she was just so awkward that she preferred to not speak. If only the food would come, so there would be an excuse for her silence.

Fia's head leaned against Miles once again as she just couldn't get enough of him and allllllllll his sweetness. This was like THE BEST feeling EVER! Happy Happy Joy Joy Happy Happy Joy Joy Happy Happy Joy Joy Happy Happy Joy Joy! Rin and Stimpy HAPPY JOY moment!

She looked towards Mercer as Miles asked a simple yet interesting question. How was the girl's summer? Her very own started off great and ended terrible...but then that magical train ride to Hogwarts....sighs happily!

She was, well... Bored at her own table. But why had she come to the Ravenclaw table, of all places? She didn't know. Natasha hardly knew anyone in Ravenclaw. Oh well. She wanted to do something. She came to a spare spot and looked at a girl there.

"Hi, can I sit here? I'm really bored at my own table." She said smiling. It was kind of forward, she supposed. "I'm Natasha."

"Well Mina, "The Magical Five" are you, I. Kay, Barry and Georgiana and I hope for all of us to mmet on Hogwart's grounds or at the feast" Rex explained to her. "Well, I did not trip outside the train but I had been clumsy on the train" Rex laughed. "Well Victoria and I are half brother and half sister and we found out at Jason's castle thanks to J.J. Starr and Katalin" Rex explained to Mina. " You adored Jason in a friendly way or?" Rex teased her.
" You are a real social butterfly" he told Mina. " Kay is my girlfriend and she is in HufflePuff." he said to her.

So do homework, participate and other things. Didn;t sound that hard. Nor did the losing points, but Tyler wasn't going to lose points for his house. He leaned back, closer to Miles to hear him more clearly. "I'll do my best," Tyler smirked back and chuckled.
Ty noticed the girl next to Miles, smiled at him. Tyler kindly smiled back and slightly nodded.

Kellen noticed the younger boy smiling at them and gave a casual wave with two fingers, "Hi."

He wasn't going to be that older kid who hung around with a bunch of younger kids, was he? He got enough of that at home. Ah well, plenty of time to meet older kids later. Tonight was getting to know everyone.


"Kellen Stern, and yes, I am," he took her hand and shook it firmly. "My old school was rather tragically burned to the ground, so now I'm here." He grinned and tipped his head in the direction of the wall, "Stone looks pretty burn-proof, don't you think?"

"Haha really? I never knew that." Well, it was true. She didn't know that and it was interesting. She liked having her friends the same that she was. "So, when do you think that they are going to get this over with?"

Ian was still racking his brains, trying to come up with a solution for his problems, when a small voice capture his attention. Quitting the scratching his head thing he did when confused, Ian fixed his quizzical gaze on the girl. Go figure. This WAS full of those, after all.

"Thanks?" Hmmm. Ian was not sure what to make of this girl - she was a little one, probably around Morgan's age or something. Little girls were unpredictable and dangerous. And clingy. Never good good things, in his opinion. "I mean - thank you, Mina. I'm ... " Ian considered giving the girl his actual name for a second, but then changed his mind. Twelve year olds WERE phsycos sometimes. "I'm Colby. Colby McKensie." Heh. Well, at least Colby was real. "And have you seen some wordy little Jarvey around? I think he got lost." Another concern of his. And no, No Name Jarvey hadn't gotten lost - IAN had lost it.

"Rex?" Allison looked up at the boy. Yes it was Rex, the boy who loved to dance and had been kind enough to lend her his coat at Diagon Alley. "You lent me your coat! Allison. Allison Scott." Remembering Allison felt happy...and then utterly embarrassed when she remembered his exchange with her mother.

Allison sent him a big wave. She was already seeing familiar faces, and that was making her all the more comfortable.

Allison then looked at the girl who had just introduced herself. She was beautiful. With long brown hair and porcelain skin, Allison was too young to know anything about looks but she knew that this girl was pretty.

Smiling Allison unconsciously ran her hand again through her short brown hair,"Oh! Nice to meet you Mina! My name is Allison Scott. What year are you in?"


Trying to pay attention to all the other student's, Allison found it difficult with the boy across from her. He was making all sorts of facial expressions and he didn't look a wee bit comfortable. She wanted to ask him what was wrong, but talking to older kids made her even more nervous. So then she just stared.

Burned? He has just said burned. And he had grinned. Yes Mr. Kellen Stern had just grinned. Did that mean he burned down his own school? He had sounded sarcastic when he said tragically. As Allison's thoughts began going hay-wired her eyes stared getting larger and larger. "Yes..ha...ha...burn-proof." She needed to hide. To run. Oh noes, where people at this school crazy? Maybe the letter she had recieved were for crazy people, and her mother and brother had lied and had never really gone to Hogwarts.

Oh Merlin help me!!

La...la...la...oh, where? Oh, where had her little friends gone? Oh, where? Oh, where could they--HUH? Lucy's wide-eyed and almost frightened face slowly and creepily turned to a girl next to her who spoke. Her widened eyes looked around to figure out which house this girl was from only to realize two things: 1) Her name was Natasha and she was clearly bored enough to attempt to art of friendship making with Lucy, and 2) ...SHE WAS THE WACKO. Yes, the wacko she was thinking about earlier...and she was hoping no one but the people she already knew would come along.

What a strange girl, though...Natasha. Should she introduce herself? Or should she not? No. No introductions.

"Hi...I'm Lucy?" Oh, boy...

Nat was slightly bemused. The way she said her name, her tone sounded sort of odd, but she couldn't figure out why. "Lucy, that's a nice name. You don't have to say yes, you know." She felt a bit imposing. She was just in a good mood, and she knew if she got bored she'd start thinking about how Tammy– No. No, no, no. That would make her feel sad again. She did NOT want to think about how her cousin would not be here, at the feast.

He shrugged, "Well I thought it was funny."

Then he saw her eyes widening and she looked ready to sprint for the door. Was this a trait he was picking up from his cousin? Make girls terrified and want to run away? It would work quite well on his sisters, but in a case like this it looked like some damage control was in order.

"Allison, relax, I didn't burn down my old school. Do you honestly think that the Sorting Hat would put a pyromaniac in Ravenclaw?" He glanced over at the Gryffindor house table, "Personally, I think it would put him or her over there. They look like they'd love a good marshmellow roast."

He was kidding. Obviously he was kidding. And if this girl, the very first Ravenclaw he'd interacted with, didn't think so... maybe he was in the wrong house after all.

Walking to the table Anya was a bit apprehensive....
"Where to sit where to sit.." she mumbled to herself. She hated the process of making friends. She wished that she could just skip the "meeting people" aspect and just already have them...that would make life so much easier.
"Oh well...at least I remembered to bring a book with me.."Anya quietly said to herself as she found a seemingly empty part of the table to sit at.

Well you never knew. Maybe the Sorting hat was having a good laugh at his expense. "Of course not! The Sorting Hat would never do that!"

Looking over at the Gryffindor table she saw all the people laughing with their pretty cool red ties and their awesome ghost. Darn it. She wanted to be in that House just to be different. Looking back at Kellen she narrowed her eyes. Oh no, this guy would not scare her. In the name of all that was Allison she would manage up the little courage she had, "What do you know about pyromaniacs?"

With intensity in her eyes, Allison's curiosity began to leak from her lil pores.

Natasha...hey, wait a second. How come her name sounded familiar? Hadn't she heard of someone who knew someone named Natasha? Lucy struggled to remember who anyone was only to fail miserably. The girl spoke again and for a moment, she had trouble understanding what she said. Say yes to what?! What would she have to say yes or no to?! Oh...wait, never mind. Yes or no to her sitting there. Yes, right. Yes. Or no.

"Uh..." Wait, what? WHAT?! "Um..." Blank out. Lucy was blanking out. Her mind was white, or black...but the point was that it was EMPTY!! EMMMMPTY!!

"EMPTY!!" Lucy turned her head forward and smashed her face against the table when suddenly, she felt something cold, sticky and liquid-like on her face. It had an odd smell, one she recognized before...
She lifted her head up and stuck her tongue out to get a small taste of what was on her face. She carefully licked a small area on her lip and took in the taste of...

OH. NO. This was...it was...

"PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!" Lucy began throwing a tantrum, all while sitting down, attempting to rub the disgusting pie off of her face. "I hate pie, I hate pie, I hate pie, I hate it!!"

Lucy paused for a moment. Oh. Natasha was cousin to someone. But whose cousin? She tilted her head, grabbed a bunch of napkins in front and cleared the pie off of her face.

"Aren't you someone's cousin?" she asked, puzzled. Then, she thought it a stupid question. There were probably a gazillion people named Natasha and there was a big chance that this Natasha girl wasn't the cousin of someone she knew.

Satine glanced around completely overwhelmed from the sudden arrival of all of the people. They came in one solid wave and then the table was full of conversations. The whole GH was almost thundering from all of the conversations. She felt almost lost among all the conversations and looked side to side. She heard the new boy and a soft tap on her shoulder. She focused on them instantly as she searched around. She thought she saw a very cute face but was instantly saddened when he kissed a girl on the cheek....ugh....she focused back on her new friend and the new voice on the other side of her.

Satine felt a tapping on her shoulder and turned to see a very handsome face. She focused in on his eyes and smiled extending her hand as well. As she answered she noticed how soft his hand was. "Howzit! I'm Satine....third year....and thanks...the purple hair is kind of like a signature and of course my favorite color." she said with a wink.

"America! That's my favorite place to visit. My aunt and I go every year and I actually grew up there before my mom and dad transferred her three years back....what part are you from?" she said with her usual smile. This was a great way to get things started with a connection...two points for Satine.

Satine watched the new boy with curiosity and then instantly felt bad when she realized she had startled him. "O I'm sorry I didn't mean to sneak up on you..." she said with a small smirk as she tried not to laugh at his small stuttering from the startling and the accent.

"Well, uh...Nik-n-nikolaus...niko, it's great to meet you...O and welcome to Hogwarts...." she said with glance over her shoulder..."It's def an amazing experience and this is just the first amazing part..." she finished glancing up at the beautiful ceiling that matched the sky outside but had floating candles everywhere.

"So where are you from?" she said looking back at him and reaching over to grab something to nibble on while they waited for the real feast to begin.

....

Uh-oh.

Some kiddie was staring at him. Such things as staring coming kids under the age of twelve, never boded well.

With three little brats for sisters, Ian would now.

And so, he settled for nervously loosening the blue and bronze Ravenclaw tie he was wearing, and smiling anxiously at the little one.

"I don't have any candy?"

Yep.

He was screwed.

"Uh..." Wow, he could honestly say he hadn't been expecting that, and his answer carried the 'I thought it was obvious' tone to it, "That they burn stuff?"

What was with the intense look? Kellen glanced from left to right, "Should I be the one trembling and heading for the door, here? You're not a really short prefect just hiding her badge, are you?" Not that he'd done anything wrong, but hey, you never knew. Power did weird things to people.

Natasha watched, getting even more bemused. It was, strange. First when she yelled empty, and then when she started to have a tantrum when pie was on her face. Though Nat wouldn't want pie on her face, gross. She picked up her wand and flicked it, murmuring a spell to make the pie disappear. "Are you okay?"

"Someone's cousin? Well, yeah. Tammy Wood, she was in Hufflepuff but she's graduated now." It wasn't that hard, talking about her cousin. She was slowly getting used to the idea that she was not going to be around.

Bella looked up to see Mina a little farther down the table. Hearing Mina saying hello Bella gave Mina a friendly wave saying Hello but right when she did Mina turned to the other direction, she had lots of people talking to her.

"Wow mina must be popular, or at least a really good socializer," thought Bella wile turning her page in her book.



"Oh hi Keeley," said Bella. She hadn't noticed her apearence being there since she was so much into her book. "Sorry I skiped so fast, this book is real good," said Bella wile looking at Keeley's leg warmers.
"Say where did you get thoughs?" asked Bella wile pointing to Keeley's legwarmers. Bella loved legwarmers- well she had only own 1, or was it 2, pairs in her life, but they were nice and warm- and Keeley's were really pretty.

The boy looked scared. She didn't want to frighten him. Or did she? Something to think about. With mischief in her mind Allison reached really slowly into her robes and just as slowly retrieved her wand.

Then carefully she pointed it at him. What a dummy, she thought. He didn't have any candy? She didn't need any candy. It seemed the boy hadn't heard about the Scotts marriage into the Ferreros. Better for her. The Ferreros provided Allison with so much chocolate, she was never found without any.

In her small cute voice Allison smiled at him, while still threateningly pointing her wand at him, "Wingardium Leviosa."

Suddenly a small paper plane flew from underneath the table and rose expectantly in front of her. Just as quickly Allison directed the paper towards the Hufflepuff table where it hit Arya behind the head.

Allison then gave the boy an evil grin. Oh she had him in her pocket. Hee hee hee.

Boo. BOO! BOOOO! Kellen didn't have much to offer Allison in the information section. Tilting her head she giggled, still looking at the other boy from the corner of her eye, "Nope. It would be awesome though. I Allison Scott a prefect under disguise." Putting her chin on her hand she smiled, "I was just curious. You know, I've never met any people with the ability to burn stuff. So I was was wondering if...there were any on these grounds." At that Allison looked around as if they all wore a P on their chests that screamed "Pyro dude sitting right here!"
