Mina smiled back. She had a plan for this year, she would remain focused and not slack toward the end of the term. They were all sorted into their house for a reason and it was time to show all how great the Ravenclaw house was.
"Well, Dal and I are going to study together and keep each other on task. Anyone is free to join us as well. Maybe if we all remind each other, we can stay on top of it." She knew if others kept reminding her, she could start to slack on her studies even if silly boys distracted her again.
Wishing she could do more on the Quidditch front, she frowned a bit. She would definetely be trying out for the team, but again zero real experience was working against her. Maybe somehow they could earn points for their show of team spirit. She did have a lot of ideas for cheering on their team. She did want them to win and to be completely honest, the captain from last year, Willow scared her and she didn't want her to return if they did lose again.

He could feel himself shrink a little under the gaze; he had no idea what she was thinking, but at that current point in time, he felt like a sheep under a canid gaze.
Swallowing, he averted his eyes to the more tame gaze of Arya, blushing a little bit in embarrassement of his accussation about her wanting him to leave. "Oh...thanks..." He shifted to try and show he appreciated it, giving her a small smile through the slight awkwardness.
Glancing at Allision briefly, Sabel debated what the other student might be thinking. He had gotten used to Kellen and Chaucer's openness and expressiveness and in his few encounters with them had never been required to debate their opinions. He noticed Kellen's search for his cousin and vaugely wondered where the dramatic young man was keeping himself. That was until he realized Arya had asked him a question and his head swivelled back to her. "Kelowna...British Columbia, Canada. What about yourself...you two? Arya? Allision?" He figured it was best not to leave Allision out from the conversation.
Arya had never been to Canada nor had she ever meet anyone from there. So when Sabel said he was from there she got excited."Really, is it nice up there?"She took another sip of her drink, still swinging her legs."I'm from North Carolina, its in America."She had to get used to adding the last bit if she was gonna give the state.

Arya suddenly realized that the other Emily was no where in sight. Looking around she still couldn't see her."I don't know, I haven't seen her since we left the train."

Immediately the butterfly that had accompanied Allison since she'd last seen her mother circled Emily's head in greeting,"I heard your name, a Hufflepuff I see. Congrats!" Shrugging Allison continued, "I guess it's ok. When I heard Arya get sorted I wished really hard..." lowering her voice Allison told only Emily and Arya, hoping no one would hear, "I asked the Sorting Hat to be in Hufflepuff."
The rest quite obvious, the hat had refused and she sat like all the other Scotts. A bloody Ravenclaw, with amazing house colors, Allison admitted. Still she shook her head in sadness. Darn evil sorting hat!
And to make matters worse, Arya was already asking Emily about having the same room. Her heart bleed a little. Arya, Anastasia, and Emily would all share a room. Who knew what people she'd end up with. Again. Darn. Evil. Sorting. Hat.
Allison shook her head and slightly got off her seat, "Nope there was no sign of the other Emily. "I dunno. I didn't hear her name. Well then again how could I...I've been distracted."
Allison pointed with her eyes only towards Kellen and LC iColby.
Allison laughed under her breath and covered her mouth while doing so. In Allison's eyes the girl was wasting her breath on Kellen. He was simply a boy with looks and no manners. He was rude and mean, and had even insulted Allison about her bullying LC iColby. Horrible and bad was what Kellen was. Or at least that's as far as Allison would see.
SPOILER!!: Sabel ^^
Allison caught Sabel observing Kellen and gave a mental frown. So they were friends. Sighing out loud Allison couldn't see why they were. Life went on whether she liked the circumstances, all Allison had to do was play her cards and see what the future had in store. Not that Allison knew she even had cards, she was just a young girl accustomed on getting what she wanted. I say blame her liberal mother!
"Canada? I've never been." For anyone that knew Allison back home, that was a shocker. Allison had traveled to several places all over the world. Her mother was random and enjoyed the trips. Especially if they involved key ports and disapperating. "I'm from the US of A. South Texas." Allison gave her best imitation of a cowboy drawl.
Arya could see that all this talk of who was in what house was bringing Allison down. When she heard that she asked to be with them in Hufflepuff she her heart sank. She wished Allison was in the same house as her, but knew there was nothing she could do.She gave a comforting smile to Allison, squeezed her sides in a atempt to make her smile."Cheer up Allie, we can still tons of things around the castle together."

"Oh well last year was my OWL year so I was mostly focused on that and spending time with my 7th year friends and my boyfriend." She made a sad face. All gone now.
"There's always something going on but you can still have fun with your friends anyway. Like last term Professor Lupa's classroom barked because someone made it because she's a werewolf and some people are prejudiced and stuff. It was really distracting during the final."
She completly ignored the bit about her boyfriend, Arya had no intrest in boys nor did she plan to.She had no idea why girls would want one, let alone kiss one.Arya was shocked when she heard that one of her Professors was a werewolf. She glanced over to the staff table, looking at all the professors trying to decide which one was the werewolf.Surprisingly she wasn't afraid, after all werewolves were only dangerous on a full moon. Still that was enough to stop her list of questions for now. She smiled at Cela, glad to have meet her. "Sounds like ya'll had some year. can't wait for this year to start."

"Maybe we can have a few Ravenclaw-only study sessions in the common room." Cela suggested, giving Livvy a quick look before smiling brightly at Mina. "I mean, as well as the library study sessions that is." Cela of course, had a LOT to say in those study sessions because she knew STUFF about THINGS.
It helped that she liked to help younger students as well.
"Its always a lot of fun when you've got your friends around, and this term has already started on a good note." Despite the fact that Cela missed people.
"Are you glad you're in Hufflepuff, Arya? I'm sure you won't die this term. You have nice prefects and I think Lord Volde... Professor Duskurk will make sure nobody dies."
Why else would he be here after all?

Allison's gaped at the boy. "Near the Rockies?! Oh that is sooo cool! I traveled with my mother on a camping trip there. Well my brother went too but he was a loser and kept complaining--ANYWAYS. I went there and it was sooo pretty! Only we went there during the Fall, near Colorado? And it was just..."Allison didn't even finish the question with all the memories that hit her.
It had been a wonderful experience for her, and she hoped to return soon; for Allison enjoyed the outdoors as long as it didn't involve sport like events. And camping was a lot of sitting and admiring. Especially when you had magic.

Kellen listed with half an ear as Sabel chatted to Allison and her friend, but most of his attention was on Livvy.
"Sir Martigan's Academy for Distinguished Young Gentlemen," Kellen admitted it with a reluctance he'd never felt before. Mad Marty's was a shack compared to Hogwarts, and yet sounded like it should be every bit as grand. "It was a finishing school for pureblood boys. But! It's gone now and I'm sure Hogwarts will be much better."
He saw Livvy stiffen and rubbed the back of his neck, "Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you or anything."
He didn't know most of the people Celandine was talking about, but shrugged and offered, "I can't say I'll be any help when it comes to Quidditch, but as far as schoolwork is concerned," he grinned, "well, the hat didn't put me here for nothing!"
Eavesdropping as Allison loved to do, her small ears comically perked up much like a dogs. Kellen came from Sir Martigan's Academy for blah blah blah. 'Too long did not listen.' (ooc: LOL to anyone who knows where it's from!) Allison racked her brain for information on that school. After all Allison was a walking library she must have heard of it.
Kellen's next comment made everything fall into place. No, the school had not invited her brother to attend, because he was no pureblood. However it had invited a distant cousin. And of course Allison's aunts had snickered and then finally flocked the boy and forbid him to attend. The Scott tradition was endless, all must go to Hogwarts. Something Mrs. Scott and Allison had planned to break by sending her to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. However the temptation of getting first class education triumphed over breaking traditions.
It was quite interesting. She would have to look up the school later. Allison was doubtful on whether or not the Academy of blah blah was for pompous fools or if it was really recognized. Even though, her curiosity was ticking Allison stored the information in her mind for later study and saw a girl staring at her.

Or maybe... this girl was just mental.
The boy's face seem to loosen up and relax. Livvy merely blinked in slight confusion. Sometimes... such a smart girl could be sooooo oblivious. But she just shrugged to herself and didn't mention anything. She was probably just seeing things. Maybe she got whatever Garret had gotten. EEEEEEEEEEP.
Livvy giggled slightly at what he said. "Don't worry. Things should go rather smoothly from now on. All you have to worry about is the crazy professors. Kazi, especially... but I'm not sure if he's teaching this term...." She glanced over at Cela with a questioning look. That girl knew everything. Surely she would know whether or not Kazi would be teaching this term.
OHMERLIN. Copernicus.
Livvy had almost forgotten how much that boy had contributed. Now... they were certainly going to dieeeee. Even though her face showed determination, she was definitely worried. Hopefully students would start helping out. The entire house couldn't just DEPEND on like FOUR students to do all the work, could they?
"Cela's right. Every point counts. So hopefully this term, more students will start taking part in the schoolwork." Siggghhh.
HUUUUUUHHHH?
Where was daaattt? Livvy looked at Kellen with confusion. "I've never heard of that school before... where is it located? Gone?! How come?" she asked, curiously as she crossed her arms and laid them over the table, leaning over closer. By this time, Livvy had almost completely forgotten her BEST FRIEND Rachel who was sitting all alone.
But Livvy was someone that moved around a lot and liked to talk. It would only be until Rachel made her existence known again that Livvy's attention would return to the girl. That's just... how things worked!
Livvy just smiled and shrugged. "It's cool. I'm just a sore loser," she said, laughing slightly and scratched her head. But then what the boy said next, made Livvy grin even more. "That's good! I'll be making sure you keep your word," she said, humorously.
Oh. She had been caught laughing at them. Shifting in her seat Allison was partially relieved when the girl asked her if she was okay. "Um. Yes sorry, I had...bit my tongue! Yes, I bit my tongue." Putting her best puppy face, Allison rubbed her jaw, "It hwuuuts."
Only because the circumstances dictated it, Allison gave her full name to the girl and wished for the recognition. She would not have spoken to the girl otherwise, she was obviously much older than her...and even Kellen.

Sabel couldn't contain his grin, and Arya's excitment was only fueling his own. He always found himself more than happy to talk about the mountains and the foothills; it kept him from missing them.
He gave a small nod to Arya's question, ceasing his activity of fiddling with the fork. "I do on occassion and when the weather is somewhat stable. I think I have some old photos in my luggage." The last part was more a reminder to himself that he had to find his pictures of the summer hikes and climbs he went on; he knew he packed them somewhere.

"I am glad to know that Livvy and I aren't the only ones wanting to get the cup again this term." She smiled happily at Kellen and Mina and their comments on doing their best and all. "Obviously we're all in Ravenclaw for a reason right?"
Most of them were at least half as smart as she was. Which was a whole lot smarter than most of the other houses. Well... differently smart anyway.
Oh. Right. Livvy almost forgot that Cela was practically in love with the professor. Cough. "Right. I meant brilliant. He's crazy brilliant. I accidentally left out the last word," she said, smiling as she nodded her head. Heh heh. No she didn't.
MHM. "I agree. I think I liked him better as a Defense Against Dark Arts professor, rather than a Potions professor." In fact. ANYTHING would be better than Potions. Livvy wasn't too fond of both Kazi and the class, especially since the Love Potions lesson. OHMERLIN. That was just HORRIBLE. She no longer viewed either thing in the same way that she had used to.
She smiled happily at what Mina said. It made her feel slightly better and hope flickered just slightly. "Too true." The sorting hat... NEVER sorted wrong.

In fact. She REALLY liked that idea. Where was Professor Vindickityus anyway?

Awww... poor girl.

She ate some more mashed potato and something made a clicky noise in her head. "You look like Colby McKensie."
Cela didn't even notice the potato theft, even with all of the boy's yelling. She was far too busy eating her own potatoes and alternating that with bits of celery.
"He did?" Kellen? Was that one? Cela looked at the pyromaniacky one and smiled. "But now you are here and that is a good thing. Did anyone die? Were they in your house? We've had a magical flood but no fire."
Missed the point completely again.
Cela looked up as she heard Adrienne address them, her expression thoughtful.
"Oh."
She paused.
"Congratulations! Good luck with tryouts and stuff. I'll be in the stands cheering the team on of course!"
Going back to sipping her pumpkin juice, Adrienne turned back to Cela as it appeared the blonde prefect had heard her. Or, at least the first part. Smiling, she nodded. "Congratulations on prefect. You definitely deserve it," she said back, before laughing a little as cheering was brought up. "Thanks. Luck's always good to have, and having our own little cheering section is always a good motivation. I remember that last term." Even though they hadn't done the best, really. At least they hadn't won the cup. But she was still hoping a lot of good players were going to try out, and that the other teams were going to be good but maybe not as awesome as last term. She could be a little selfish when she needed to.

If she tried out for Quidditch, which was a possibility seeing as she had already stupidly blabbed to Cela--her hero, about it, this was the person to look at. Looking at the girl Allison perked up and gave the cutest smile in store, she really didn't know she was giving it, "Hallo. You are really our Quidditch captain?" With a small gleam in her eyes, of excitement, Allison sat up and offered her hand, "I'm Allison Scott."
Before her daydreaming of awesome people continued Cela said something that had interested Allison beyond belief.
"Colby McKensie?" Allison's stare bore into CMP iColby. She knew it. The boy had lied about his name. How could he remind Cela, the nice girl who had offered Allison advice on ice cream AND was totally her hero AND favorite Ravenclaw so far in Hogwarts, of a Colby McKensie when he was Colby? There was a caged cat in there, and she was going to release it.
"I thought your name was Colby. But of course it's not, you liiiiiiiiiiied." Allison let the last word roll off her tongue. Smirking Allison shook her finger, "That's an awful thing to do. What sort of example are you setting up for me?"
And then another voice addressed her, and she glanced around until she noticed a little girl nearby. Who obviously must have been part of Cela's conversation group before she'd interrupted, but oh well. At least she was getting known, before tryouts and NEWTs and everything made her crazy. And this girl was cute enough, and tiny enough, she almost had to be a firstie. So impressions were always good. Giving her a smile back, she slightly indicated the badge on her robes before she spoke. "Yep. I really am." At least for this term. She had no idea yet who might replace her, since she was leaving after this term and all. Reaching over as the girl offered her hand, she lightly shook it, adding another smile in for good measure. "Adrienne Mercer. It's nice to meet you Allison. First year?," she asked, out of curiosity. She wasn't going to scare the new students by finding things out her own way. Not yet. Not that she tried to scare people anyway.

Livvy couldn't exactly judge someone by their appearance, but so far... this girl wasn't exactly on her good book, just by their encounter for a good five seconds.
Blink.
Hugo Woods had a girlfriend?
....
Huh. Though, Livvy couldn't really say she was surprised. She hardly even knew the boy. She hardly knew of his existence. His name was thrown about into the air every now and then, and Livvy couldn't honestly be bothered by someone who may or may not even exist. Who knew? Maybe it was an imaginary friend.
And then Livvy glanced over at the girl. Maybe it was an imaginary boyfriend.
"I didn't know Hugo Woods had a girlfriend." Or that he was a real person. Or is he?"But considering he's a Slytherin, he just may be at the Slytherin table. You know? Just a possibility." Really. The logic. So easy.
Adrienne. Hmm. There hadn't been much of an interaction there. Maybe it should change..........?
Livvy leaned over across the table, considering the group of people weren't exactly far away from her. Close enough to be within talking distance, that's for sure. And. And. QUIDDITCH CAPTAIN?! Oh gooddddyyy!!!! She hadn't know that! Then again... the two girls weren't exactly close. So... oh well. She got the position! Even though Livvy, herself, had been totally pegging for that position... she was quite satisfied with the Head Girl position. Large shiny badge.
"Adrienne! You're the Quidditch Captain?! Congratulations!" she exclaimed gently and grinned happily. With Adrienne, who was a mighty fine player, they would be SURE to win this term.
And then she noticed Cela and some neeewwww students. "Hey Cela. Who's your friends?" Livvy asked, grinning around. Head Girl should know people right? RIGHT.
And, speaking of people she still thought she'd kind of scared last term. Or at least made nervous or something. Livvy was leaning across the table toward her and the others, which made her a bit nervous herself, that the Head Girl was going to land in the mashed potatoes or something. But it was just to be closer to the conversation apparently, and she grinned as her fellow seventh year called her out again. "Yeah. Thanks, are you gonna play again? And congratulations on Head Girl. Lots of respect in that title," she said with a smile. She really was curious, since Livvy was an amazing Quidditch player. If she hadn't been given head Girl, she would have been perfect for captain, not that she felt threatened. Great players were what they needed, and with Willow gone, and her not being sure how many other players from the previous terms were going to try out again, she wasn't about to do a little nudging.

See? Quidditch captains were lunatics. "A tree needs to approve the new Quidditch captain! Coooool." Ian sounded particularly cheerful and even cracked a smile.
If you can't fight the lunatic enemy, join them.
She glanced over at the boy Cela had been talking to about Quidditch captains and who had to approve of the new ones, as he suddenly made an odd comment that she just knew had to come from her question to Cela from earlier. And she simply had to giggleat how ridiculous the sentence sounded. "Well, yeah, I guess that would be cool," she said once she stopped laughing, giving him a smile even though she was wondering if he was simply naive or a little unhinged. He did seem to be younger than her, but most of the other Ravenclaws were. So maybe the thought really did just entertain him. "But do you know very many trees, especially willows, that could also be called 'Bonecrusher'?" Since she knew that was what cela had called their previous captain. And now she was hoping to no end that curious boy hadn't learned about the Whomping Willow already, since that kind of ruined her argument. Kind of, but not really, since she could work arguments around to her benefit pretty much always.
And then Miles and Fia were back, and she went back to listening to the conversations going on around her. Before she heard Cela mention Lord Voldemartist as a professor, and that he was here, and teaching DADA, and she blinked again before glancing up at the staff table. If that was true, this term was going to be really interesting.

Mina looked over at Dal and smiled. She seemed to be a bit distracted for a second and was looking off somewhere. Being curious as she sometimes was, she tried to follow Dal's eyes to the point of which they were focus. Maybe she wasn't the only one a bit distracted by certain things.
"Well, you know me and studying. I can be found like everywhere studying." she laughed. "We could meet up in the courtyard if any of our friends want to join, but I'll probably be found in our common room a lot as well."
Livvy just smiled and shrugged. "It's cool. I'm just a sore loser," she said, laughing slightly and scratched her head. But then what the boy said next, made Livvy grin even more. "That's good! I'll be making sure you keep your word," she said, humorously.
"It was a small school in a place called Maulking Fen. I have no idea where that is; we had to use a portkey to get to and from it." Kellen realized how perfectly unhelpful this was and shrugged, "I don't usually pay that much attention to geography, sorry."
Again the story, and again he was glad Chaucer wasn't sitting here. He wasn't in the mood for dramatics, "Our Head Boy flunked all his NEWTs and burned it down. No one was hurt, but I think one of the newspapers ran a column about the ordeal."
He leaned back as she leaned forward, though he wasn't aware of it. Making sure he kept his word? The Head Girl was going to be checking up on him? He ducked his head a little, caught between embarrassment and amusement, "Yes, well... nothing to worry about there..."

It helped that she liked to help younger students as well.
Kellen seized on the change of topic (not that he didn't want the Head Girl leaning across the table and telling him she'd be watching him, of course not), and nodded, "A study group sounds like a great idea. Do you have them all the time here?"
At Mad Marty's, it had been more of a rivalry-type thing. Those who studied together were always slipping each other wrong answers, intentionally botching each others potions... it was a mess.

Kellen raised an eyebrow at her. That had to be the worst fib he'd ever heard. Oh well, Ravenclaw was for smart people, not good liars.

"Hi Nina!" Thana replied, happy that she hadn't been brushed off by this confident-sounding girl. "I'm really excited about starting classes, I'm muggleborn and have never heard of magic until I got the letter." Whoops. Was it bad that she had just said that? Maybe advertising that you were muggleborn wasn't good. Oh, well, it had just slipped out. And Nina seemed nice enough, hopefully she wouldn't get all cold and sarcastic.
"Same with me!" Nina said, happy to meet someone that shared her situation. "But I couldn't be more excited to start learning! I've glanced through a ton of extra books and there's so much you can do with magic. I can't wait to try it all!"

The smile, however, persisted as memories played one after the other; he had to find those pictures.
Looking up again at Arya, he gave her a soft smile, scratching the back of his head, being extra catious not to knock Kellen with his elbow. "I have to find them first. I can't rightfully remember where I put them." Carefully lowering his arm again, glancing to make sure he had enough room to do so his smile widened a little as he chuckled. "I have a kitten, Merlin.
Oblivious Head Girl Livvy, obviously couldn't tell when she made people nervous. She was the type that ignored such signs. Actually... she did notice, but she simply didn't acknowledge them. It didn't matter. Livvy figured that it was a minor thing. Shrugging it all off, she looked over at Adrienne with another grin on her face. But at her question, it slowly faltered. She, herself, wasn't sure whether or not she was going to.
"Thanks Adrienne. And I'm actually not really sure. I'm still contemplating. There's a lot more responsibilities and things I have to do this term, so... I'm not sure. I have to focus on NEWTs and Head Girl duties this term. But... I'll probably end up trying out this term anyway," she said, chuckling at herself.

Meh.
It didn't really matter to Livvy anyway. It was just something out of curiosity. She had never heard of the school before, so she could only wonder if that school even existed. Seemed like it did though. "Geography's a boring subject. That's all I can say," Livvy said simply, nodding her head and then moved on.
At what Kellen said next, absolutely horrified and disappointed Livvy. She couldn't help but gasp and drop her jaw. FLUNKED HIS NEWTS?! "Isn't the Head Boy appointed for a reason? You know... maybe NOT to fail?" she asked, shaking her head in half disbelief. No one at Hogwarts would do that, surely.
Oh dear. Was she making the boy nervous? Grin.
"Sometimes. We usually have around four at the library and they're run by the prefects. They help a lot, that's for sure." In both their studies... and bringing the school students together.

Geography was rather boring, if beautiful.
"You'd think that," Kellen agreed, wondering when if ever she would stop leaning across the table at him. "But he was just a poor choice. It's not like schools pick their Head Boys and Girls to put a fool on a pedestal, right?"
"The prefects..." Kellen slid a glance over at Celandine. Oh, he hadn't forgotten whose friend she was. No he had not. But he couldn't very well ask if Trog was a prefect, could he? Instead he nodded, "I'm glad this school seems to value teamwork. Even if it does put students in different houses."

Damien looked over at Kellen and, noticing his discomfort, decided to cut into the conversation. He poked the boy on the shoulder. "So Kellen, where are you from anyways? I never got the chance to ask you on the train.

Kellen jerked to the side at Damien's poke, bumping into Sabel in the process. He hadn't even heard Damien arrive! After sending Sabel a return apologetic look he turned back to Damien. Jeez, the kid was the same height as Allison! Kellen was still having problems with the fact that Damien was in the same year as him.
Irritated at how Damien made him jump, he proceeded to give a non-geographical answer, "A place where we say hello before prodding people. Are you actually in Ravenclaw? Or," he grinned at Sabel, "are you just sitting over here for conversation?"

Jumping at the sudden, jostling contact, Sabel's eyes snapped over his shoulder, letting out a small sigh when Kellen gave him an appologetic look. In all honesty, it wasn't needed. For the amount of times he had run into Kellen, he deserved one back every now and then.
Blinking at hearing his name in the conversation, Sabel peered around Kellen's shoulder, still being mindful of his conversation with Arya and Allison, and blinked again at seeing Damien. He gave the other boy a small wave of he hand. "Hey. Its a good table to chat at if you are looking for conversation." He shot Kellen a small smirk. "And there is no sign that says "no loittering allowed"."

Grinning at the familiarity of a cat with a rascal personality, Sabel nodded. "Maybe they should. It might stop them from getting in trouble. Or, like Kellen here, and his cousin Chaucer, they might just get into more trouble." he gave Kellen a light nudge in the side with his elbow to indicate, flashing him a knowing smile. In a daze Allison looked at Sabel and smiled widely. She could only nod in understanding. Even breath-taking could be an understatement. Listening to him exchange with Arya made her even happier. If Arya liked the boy, then she knew she was right. Sabel was a good guy.
"Boo. Everyone has kneazles. Makes me wonder if I should have listened to my mum and gotten one as well. It's a great name though. Uhh, only that now whenever I say Merlin's beard I'll think of your kitten." Looking sheepish Allison looked at Sabel and added, "Arya here has met him. I have a small white elf-owl named Robin." She loved Batman and Robin. she liked to make believe she was the hero and her companion---the owl, was Robin.

MHM.
MHM? Livvy smiled and just shrugged. "It's definitely an idea. If you guys really like that idea, I can always bring it up with Professor Vindictus and see his opinion," she said, nodding her head. "An extra session outside of sessions at the library couldn't hurt." No. It most definitely couldn't.
In fact. She REALLY liked that idea. Where was Professor Vindickityus anyway?
Awww... poor girl.
Livvy smiled gently at the girl and reached over to rub the girl's shoulder gently. "Be careful next term. If it continues to hurt, talk to the Healer. Even though it's minor, you still want to go to her. Plus. She's a nice woman. Couldn't hurt to chat a bit with her." No it couldn't. In fact. Livvy planned on going to her office after the feast. WHEEEEE.
TEHE.
Livvy liked this kid. He seemed studious and not troublesome one bit. So cuuute. He reminded her of her lillll' brother. "Homework is fairly easy. So long as you attend the classes and pay attention. You'll be fine. If you ever need anything Owain... I'm here for ya!" she said, grinning cheerfully.
Ah-ha-ha-ha....ha. Turning a slight crimson Allison gave the girl a small smile. "I will. I mean I will be careful and uh go visit the Healer." She could see the woman from where she sat. However it was more appealing for Allison to mysteriously be cured and not go--and it was more like the plan crossing Allison's mind. Nodding to herself she awkwardly turned away from the girl.

"Yes ma'am! First year, first day and loving it." Looking at Adrienne Allison grinned, "You must be really good at Quidditch." Gulping she put on a stubborn face and leaned towards Adrienne, "Do you know when you are holding tryouts?"

Kellen returned the look easily. He honestly wasn't used to meeting people he got along with so well; in fact, Chaucer was pretty much the only constant male friend he'd ever had. Continuing the easy banter, he jested, "Well maybe they're just giving it a new coat of paint."

Ooooooh, the things he could say to that. Several of them came to mind immediately (you were so short I didn't see you there, now that I'm squinting I notice you just fine, etc.), but most he rejected as he didn't know Damien all that well yet. Finally he went with the slightly arrogant, "Sorry, but you have to speak up at this table." As a diffuser he added, "It's really talkative."
