"Oh gee, blue I would never have guessed that James!" Jude said sarcastically as he pulled at his uniform that was blue and silver themed. "But exploring this weekend or sommat sounds like a good idea no?" he asked with a raise of his eyebrow.

"You'll definitely have to show me the Quidditch Pitch."

Lucille made room for herself on the bench, probably scattering the Ravies that were sitting at the edge onto the shiney floor. But ho hum. Sacrafices had to be made sometimes.

"Chello," she said to the bench at large. "Has anybody seen a rather teeny lil kid, about yay high, goes by the name of Edem?"

The tall fifteen-year-old laughed at his friend's sarcasm. He nodded as he finished his plate and more food magically appeared.
"Definitely," he said- it would be better to wait for the normal school pace to get into a nice fit before they went off on explorations. "Especially the Quidditch Pitch. That can maybe come before the weekend," he smiled.

"Edam? Like... the cheese?" Celandine blinked curiously. What a COOL NAME! How awesome was it to be named for cheese! Actually now that she thought of it, she DID know another cheese person, Colby!

She busied herself trying to think of other cheese names.

Sitting down at the other end of the table, Nina looked back down to the boys she had idiodicaly confronted. Maybe she'll be able to fix her mistake tomorrow if she saw the boys again. She'd be much more relaxed.

Lucille snorted and looked at the girl.

"Noooo!" She said, chuckling. "EdEM. EM EM EM. Not AM. pahahahaha." She laughed, then considered the girl. "Sooo...seen him?"

She grabbed a goblet, not really knowing whos it was *ahem* and drank from it.

"Excellent." Jude said as he took a sip from his goblet and looked down at the table to the girl who seemed to simply want to make new friends.

Jude made his way down to the girl who had introduced herself as Nina. "Hi there Nina. My name is Jude and I just wanted to say hi and apologize for my friend's abrasive behavior. I am sort of like a first year here because I just transferred to Australia. If you'd like to come sit with us you're welcome to join us." He smiled politely at the girl to show that he was harmless.

Nina turned to see the boy called Jude smiling at her. Oh No, she thought. But to her surprise he was very nice.
"I'm so sorry." she said "I saw you looking around and most first years have done that, with the older students being used to the Great Hall." she said very fast.
"But I'd love to join you. Are you sure your friend won't mind?"

"Well Hogwarts will be a great place to study and do homework" Rex told Isabella. "What do you do for fun here?" Rex asked Isabella. " So there is other problems besides student problems. ver interesting" Rex said to Isabella. " How do you cope?" he asked her.

James stood up as well and made his way over to Nina and Jude. His face was red; he hadn't meant to be rude to her.
"Of course I won't mind," he mumbled. "I didn't mean to offend you" he said sincerely.

"EdEM." Celandine repeated a little sadly. Gosh. That was so sad. It was better to be cheese.

"I don't think so, what house is he in?" Ravenclaw? Was that why she was looking at the Ravenclaw table?

Cela picked up a slice of cheese and nibbled on it.

Jude nodded at James happy that the boy had decided to be nicer to the girl. He knew what it was like to be in a brand new place for the first time. I mean look at him currently. Luckily enough, he had a friend to help him out through all the new things that he would be introduced to in a new country.

"I wasn't offended." Nina said deffensively. She wasn't offended, just embarrased. But she wouldn't say that.
So she stood up and followed the boys back to where they were sitting. I guess making friends beyond my year wouldn't be a bad thing to do, she thought.

Arya's heart sank when she heard that the Professor would be teaching one of the subjects she was most looking forward too.She gave up her search of him, they would meet tomorrow when classes started. The girls comment did nothing to ease her worry about the professor, the last thing that was on her mind was learning. But the kindness in her voice and smile did make her feel somewhat better."Oh, I'm Arya by the way." She gave a small smile to the girl before taking a sip of her drink.

So Arya was feeling it as well? Allison felt uneasy about this whole Lord thing. First of all, there had been an infinite amount of rumors traveling around the wizarding world about the wizard that had gone wrong. Not as bad as He-Who-Was-Still-Rarely-Named, but close enough. And then there had been the Scotts talking amongst themselves, grinning and nodding. Laughing and planning.

And then her mother being uneasy over the deaths in Hogwarts, and her weird actions since then. If this new professor was Lord Voldemortist wouldn't it be best to stay away from him?

Allison came from a family that was NOT known for their good deeds. Thus when the foulest and darkest would have heard of movement or events that most preferred to put a blind eye to, the Scotts would be first if not second to know. Because of this, Allison along with her mother and brother had always been first to jump at weird feelings and rumors. Paranoid? Indeed. What else can one expect from a small child with such a family as the Scotts?

Whether she liked it or not he was their new professor. And Allison could offer nothing but hope as to learning something worth valuable. Seeing as Cela truly believed him extraordinary--guessing by the way and tone she spoke of him, Allison mustered a smile and shot a look across the table to where the professor was speaking with Slytherin students.

As the DADA professor walked towards the staff table and spoke to the new Headmaster, Allison's stare followed. Whether the Scotts really knew something about this man or not, Allison wanted nothing to do with it.

"I'm Celandine Toussaint. Call me Cela though." Celandine smiled in return. What a nice little Hufflepuff. Cela hoped she didn't get deaded.

Livvy glanced over to look at the guy that had his forehead on the table and seemed to be sleeping. Already? Rather early wasn't it? Plus with all this yummy food, how could one go about to sleeping?! There was no time to waste! People must eat! And with that, she scooped some mashed potatoes for herself. DELISH!

BLIIIIIIIIIINKK. What did that kid just say?

"Are you sure you don't like it?" she asked, smirking slightly. Most boys liked girls didn't they? Or was this a kid that hadn't hit the stage? Or maybe it was just the guys that Livvy had met... they were just really hormonal probably. Or maybe this guy was afraid of cooties? Huh.

NEW RAVENCLAWS WHEEEEEEEEEE. Livvy grinned happily. "Yes we are! We're gonna take back that House Cup this term! I just know it!" she said, quite determinedly. As Head Girl and one of Copernicus's greatest friends, well... at least she liked to think of herself as that, she just HAD to get that Cup back.

"Hiya! I'm Livvy! Pleased to meetcha!" Livvy greeted, shaking her hands with anybody that would shake it.

Ty had promised his friend Damon he would find him at the feast as they hadn't had much time to talk when they pasted each other at the station outside Hogmead. If he could just see Damon in the sea of Ravenclaw.

Emily was.... well there was no other word for it, bored. hER FRIENDS WERE BEING SUPER QUIET! Oh well, perhaps someone would talk to her.

Emily saw Arya sitting by Allison at the Ravenclaw table, she sat down by them. "Hi guys! This is so exciting, being at hogwarts. Arya, I'm so excited we're in the same house. I wish you were too Allison."

Carefully, Thana sat down next to the first year girl who had just been talking to the older boys. She already seemed to know people! 'I bet I'll be the outsider. Still, why not try to make friends?' "Hi, I'm Thana Angevine, I'm a first year too. Aren't you glad to be in Ravenclaw?" Heart pounding, Thana hoped that the girl would respond nicely.

Arya glanced at Allison and knew she didn't care to much for the new Professor either. This made her feel better that someone else thought a dark wizard shouldn't be teaching at Hogwarts. They would have to go straight to the library and find out more on this Professor.

"Celandine...that's a pretty name." Arya spoke with a child like voice, swinging her feet together.She wanted to get more information about the school.Her parents and brother were very protective of Arya, so she knew nothing of the students dying until Allison told her on the train. There was soooo much she wanted to know about last year."So how was Hogwarts last year?"

Arya's eyes lit up when she saw Emily. And became even more excited to hear that she was in Hufflepuff as well. Arya grined at Emily knowing how much fun they were going to have in their rooms tonight."Hey Em! I so glad to, and Anastasia's a Hufflepuff as well, you've gotta room with us."

"Well Bonnie if you think you would make a good professor maybe you should try out for one when you graduate." Damon looked at her closely for any signs that she was not happy. All he wanted to do was make her as happy as possible.

Turning Damon saw another one of his friends. "Hey Ty come and join us" said Damon "Have you had a chance to eat anything yet?

"Hi! My name's Nina." Oh great! Another new friend. "I'm so glad to be in Ravenclaw. I just hope I live up to it. I'm very excited to start classes, so I guess I am already!" Nina said cheerfully to the girl.

Ty turned to the girl next to him Hi I'm Tyberious Toy, but you can call me Ty. I don't know your name but I have seen you around last term. How was you time off did you get to the Quidditch world cup?
