In a move that he would always look back on with embarassment, Chaucer grabbed onto Damien and looked deep into his eyes, full of fear and confusion.
He mouthed silently: HELP

The girl was pretty and seemed nice in the beginning, but all of these emotional outbursts were alarming and, what's more, were not in any of his books. How was he supposed to react? The answer: he wasn't, others were.

Damien was a fine 'other'.

Arya smiled at Sabel's shrug, glad she wasn't the only one confused. Turning back to Chaucer she giggled at his story."Well i'm glad you found it. I plan on going over there latter to day or tommorrow if I have the time. I've never seen magical plants in person."Arya was still confused by the girls actions when suddenly she shouted out the most bizar thing. Arya suddenly lit up with astonisment and disgust as she finally realized what was going on. She likes them! Eww! Arya tried to hide her facial expression by taking a sip of her drink. She noticed the look on her face from the many girls who liked her brother. And just like with her brother she had no idea what Choluna saw in the two boys, or why she could even like boys that way. Still a little discusted Arya began to pet Perseus who had just jumped into her lap.

Raiden approached the Ravenclaw Table rather quickly, eyes settled on Sabel and his... friend. Person. Yeah.

"Alright there, Sabel? Sabel's... guy friend person?" he asked, giving an awkward wave to the... girl person. "Uhm. I wanted to introduce you to... a friend of mine, can I borrow you for a minute?"

His... guy friend person could come too? He jerked his head in Daphne's direction. They probably... had met already but... well. GO WITH IT SABEL, GO WITH IT.

Damien blinked in confusion as Chaucer grabed his robe and mouthed 'help'. Looking around he couldn't see what the boy needed help with. No wait...he couldn't possibly mean the girls could he? This was Chaucer after all, he never lost his nerve, but he did look slightly afraid. Might as well give him a hand.

He smiled back at Chaucer, this was very amusing. "You've got quite the group here, mind if I join?" he asked.

Having gained back her composure Arya noticed a new boy sitting with them. She waved and smiled with her free hand not introducing Perseus. After the crazy girl who ignored her and then turned out to have a crush on her friends(ew!) she was becoming a little protective of who she would pet her kitten.

Allison closed her eyes and asked Merlin for patience. Her mother only knew that when it came to her interests Allison had no patience at all. Putting a deaf ear and blind eye to things going on around her, she took a deep breath and exhaled.

"Arya. I feel a bit crowded...do you?" She wasn't trying to be mean, but the truth was she was not a claustrophobic and she was feeling so. It was probably her lack of patience, the energy of the girls, and the fact the men kept acting stupidly.

Giving Chaucer a pitying glance, Allison weakly smiled at him, "The chocolates are fabulous. Again, I carry many with me at all times. If you ever want one, just ask."

One more breath. "Later I am going to Muggle studies, I will certainly drop the class if I don't like it." Big breath, "And. My family's company is in Italy," fanning herself Allison grabbed Arya's goblet and drank the water.

She didn't know what was with her, but in any second she felt she might explode. Perhaps going to the next class was best. Perhaps skipping the next class was better. She needed quiet. She needed it now. Allison suddenly desperately looked around her for any exits.

"Its everybody ok?" she asked the people around her. She then went through her bookbag searching for a book- gosh she needed to read more in that book- she was only on chapter 20

Sabel was about to respond to the girl when he heard his name and, once again swivelled his head around, smiling a little when he saw the Slytherin prefect. "Hey Raiden."

Introduce...to...friend....introduce. He blinked for a moment as his brain registered he was to be introduced to another person. Slightly frazzeled at all the excitment so early in the morning, Sabel wiggled himself out from the table.

"Uh...sorry guys....if you'll excuse me a moment..." He gave them all a small smile, glancing at Chaucer and Damien with a slightly longer look to let them know they were invited before giving the two new girls a smile. "Pleasure seeing meeting you. I'm sure we'll see each other around." His eyes drifted to Arya and Allison. "Catch you guys in class."

Giving them a wave he followed Raiden.

Damien noticed one of the girls waving at him, so he waved back and gave her a grin. Noticing a flicking cat tail every once and a while, he looked at it, but made no comment. He liked cats, seeing as how he owned one himself, but it wasn't his place to go asking to pet the kitten.

I must seem like a total maniac! "I'm sorry! I don't usually act like this! I guess it's just being around SO many new people that are different from the people I know. Trust me that's a good thing! So Lets all just calm down and start over." said Choluna, hoping that the boys didn't think she was mental by now! "Hi! I'm Choluna Lovechanggood! I am asian with blue eyes. My mother died in a car accident a few years ago. If you haven't already noticed, I'm a bit dramatic, but usually not this much! I am a hopeless romantic, and I am very outgoing. I love making friends, and I hope you guys can forgive me and get to know the real me!" Ugh! She knew she proably wouldn't get a boyfriend today, but she still could hope and pray that one of them would come to a conclusion!

Chaucer's eyes were drawn to the shiny brooch on the other Slytherin boy. Brooch? No - it was a badge! A badge means authority and authority means order, doesn't it?

"Well it's a fine group! Haha! Very friendly here... Damien, this is Choluna and Bella. Ladies, Damien. Don't let his height fool you, he's quite strong and has excellent aim..." ... when throwing foam, at least.

Chaucer turned his head over to Allison as he gave a polite nod. "I would love to hear more about this family business and of course sample its wares in the future!"

He needed to move fast before the prefect left. Looping his arm through Sabel's, Chaucer forced a confident grin that only revealed further anxiety.
"Marvellous! I shall come with you! It will be a bonding moment, boys have those right? That's normal? Of course it is." Anything to restore some level of sanity.

Finally. Finally. Good. Raiden gave all the students at the table a wave, crooking his finger at the one wearing Slytherin robes. The... guy person. With Sabel. Yes, you.

"Uhm... Slytherin guy. You come with me." Yes, we were a commanding prefect. "I want to ask you... something."

If he really needed to present a question, it would most likely be 'what is your favourite colour' but... desperate times, man. Desperate times.

Without waiting, he started back to the Gryffindor Table, with Sabel in tow. And hopefully... his friend person too.

"Don't leave! Please! I want to get to know you guys better!" Ugh! All she wanted was one of these guys to ask her to be their girlfriend! She would say yes if either asked! Please, God, Please! I want one of them SOOO bad!

Not wanting to leave without a word, Chaucer turned to the group: "It was a pleasure meeting you all. Rest assured, I won't forget a one of you - be certain of that! Some of you may have caught me at a disadvantage this day, and I apologize profusely. I will attempt to rectify this should we meet again!" With a dramatic sweep of his hand, the boy fell into a bow. With a snap, he was upright once more and turned away to follow the Slytherin.

That wonderful, wonderful Slytherin.

Damien blinked, and watched as Chaucer left. Well, turned out his help wasn't needed after all. He smiled nervously at the remaining girls. It was one thing when Chaucer and Sabel were here...another when he was left alone with them. "It's a pleasure to meet you." he said, looking at each of them in turn.

Heartbroken, Choluna sat down and rested her head on her arms! Well, partys over! He was so dramatic and graceful, in a manly way! Why did he have to leave so early?

The guys had stormed off and she could deal with this no more. Picking up her chocolates Allison excused herself and snatched Robin from the table. She didn't wait for anyone's goodbyes, nor did she expect any. She had to get away now, before she did anything stupid.

Running outside Allison stood outside of the Great Hall not sure what to do or where to go. All she knew was she needed space.

Allison read Arya's mind. She could tell her friend and her kitten her both getting antsy as was she."Yea, you wanna leave? I've eatin enough and we can always catch the boys latter, plus I want to tell you someting."

Arya waved as her friends left the table. She took one last sip of her drink as she watched them both leave.

Arya noticed the boy knew Sabel and became a little more relaxed. She was ready to leave but didn't wanna seem rude. "Hey I'm Arya and this is Perseus." She motioned to her kneazle who was obviously ready to go. "I would let you pet him but he's a little antsy right now, maybe latter though." Now she didn't have to worry about being at the table longer than she wanted to.

Damien gave her a smile. "No worries, it was nice meeting you. Maybe another time we could talk longer." he said, noticing that her friend had left. "I dont want to keep you, your friend seemed like she was in a hurry."

Deciding that since everyone else had left, he might as well go explore the castle. Maybe he'd run into Emilia or Kellen. Getting up slowly, he made his way out into the hall.

"That would be great! See ya latter!" Arya smiled at the boy before hurrying off with Perseus at her heels trying to catch Allison but she had a good head start.

"Bella, I've decided to hold in my feelings, and not speak them! We've all had a pretty interesting day! I think we should go apologize to the boys." said Choluna. Her heart was broken, but she wouldn't speak a word of that to anyone!

Bella could sence that something was wrong, but didn't feel like asking. "Ok I'll come with you to go apologize to them," she said even though she hadn't done anything wrong- at least she thought she hadn't.

And off they went

Emily went into the great hall, hungry from the long day of class.... She sat down and grabbed some Mexican rice, mashed potatoes, and indian rolls.... boy did this school have EVERYTHING!

"Papilio" Nina said as she walked into the great hall to get a quick bite to eat. She wished she knew where her friends were. But at least she was getting better at this butterfly thing. And she had them to keep her company.

"Papilio!" Now, Nina's butterflies were deffinately pink. They were still small. But Nina was small. And she much preferred small to big. So she didn't mind in the least, though Preffesor Pilliwickle might.

She began picturing much larger butterflies.

"Papilio!" They were bigger. And much more pink! Nina was getting good at this. Transfiguration may just be her favorite subject. Though she hadn't gone to the other classes she was so excited to attend.

Nina sat down and began buttering a role and grabbed an egg salad sandwich.

After rushing down from the Ravenclaw Common Room Allison wondered if she should have left a note for Ivory, indicating she was already down in the Great Hall. However she immediately discarded the idea. If she had woken up and looked over at the other girl's bed and seen no one, she would have automatically assumed the girl was already eating breakfast.

Taking a seat at her House Table Allison looked around where to start. She usually had pancakes every morning, however this time she'd try a bit of the porridge. Taking her bowl she served herself and wondered if Arya was up already.

Taking a spoonful of porridge into her mouth Allison began to playfully try and catch her mother's gleaming white butterfly. She certainly missed her brother and mother, however writing to them everyday would only prove that perhaps she hadn't really been ready to set off to Hogwarts on her own. Not that her mother could have come and set camp on the Hogwarts doorstep, but she'd have certainly boughten at least a cottage to live in Scotland.
