Michelle took a seat at The Ravenclaw House Table where large quantities of scrumtious food lay in front of her eyes. It was great to be back at Hogwarts, her one favourite place in the world. Looking around, she couldn't see any friends so she just helped herself to some minced meat pies.

Nina sat at the table with her friend Thana and helped herself to a plate of various desserts.

Thana also took some desserts, and some actuall food. Mostly desserts though.

"The food here is amazing. I can almost spend all day eating." Nina said smiling.

"Yeah, same. I guess it's just different from what I usually have- microwave waffles for breakfast, school lunches, and microwaved soup/chicken fingers for dinner!" said Thana, and then took a large mouthful of some sort of cake thing.

"It's so weird thinking that most purebloods here probably don't even know what a microwave is.." Nina said laughing.

"Yeah, or a computer. How a human could live without one I do not know..." Thana remembered the hours she was supposed to be doing homework, but instead was playing around on some website or another...

OOC: Like right now...

"Yes! And they think it's amazing we can get along by walking to get what we want, instead of using a summoning charm.."

"You know, in Gringotts, one of the goblins commented on how silly it is to have money in little slips of paper. But cheques really are handy things to have, if only they were understood. Sometimes wizards just don't get it!" In fact, thinking about her Gringotts encounter with Femlok, she also thought about the man who had let her into Diagon Alley. "Hey, this is unrelated, but do you know if adult wizards can sense other witches, or would it just have been because I was in the Leaky Cauldron, and it looked invisible to muggles. Only, when I was there, some random man let me into Diagon Alley. Said that he 'sensed I was a fellow magic-user' or something. Kind of freaky, really."

"Well you must be magic to go into the Leaky Cauldron or else accompanied by a witch or wizard. He was probably just messing with you."

"Hmph." Annoyed by this fact that was probably true, Thana ate in silence for a minute. Nothing against Nina, of course, she was just stating facts. It was that man she was mad at...

Nina finished her dessert before turning back to Thana.
"I'm about ready to go to bed. Are you going to stay here longer?"

"Nah. Why bother?" She left her only slightly full of food plate there and walked up the twisting corridors to the common room, and then up to the dormitory.

Back at the house table, Thana realized she was the only one here. Eating some eggs and bacon, she decided to spend her day exploring the castle.

Keeley walked over to the Ravenclaw table, her stomach growling. Need bacon! She brushed her black hair out of her eyes and took some juicy bacon, immeadiately tucking in and starting to feel wide awake.

Bella skiped into the great hall, "hum hummmmmm hum hum hum," humed Bella in the tune of "The World Above" from the little mermaid aloud. She looked at the table wondering what to eat. She then grabed some pancakes and had put them onto her plate. She then got out a piece of Parchment and a quil and began to write a letter to home.

"G'morning, Bella" Keeley said with her mouth full. She smiled when she recognized the song. That revival had been awesome!

Allison walked in with her frizzy brown hair all over the place due to the light fog and the moisture near the lake. Sitting at the Ravenclaw table she sighed. The morning had been pleasant with Allison sitting with Perseus and Arya relaxing in the lake. However she had class that day and she wasn't sure whether to be nervous or look forward to it.

Professor McFarlane...Astronomy. Not wanting to start breakfast before Arya arrived, Allison took in the smell of breakfast. She was dying to try the eggs. However it was only right to wait for her friend to come in. After all, Arya had to dry up! She couldn't get sick before classes officially started!

Arya had finished drying off and changed into her uniform and robes. She walked into the Great Hall extreamly uncomfortable, she hated wearing skirts or anything girly for that matter. With Perseus in her robe hood she looked around until she found Allison and went to sit beside her. As she sat down she took in all the diffrent smells of the food before finally pilling them onto her plate. Perseus climbed over her shoulder and into her lap, looking with intrest at all of the foods on her plates."Hey Allie, ready for our first class?"She looked at Allison before stuffing her mouth with eggs, fidgiting with her skirt.

Once she heard the voice Bella looked down the table to see Keeley. "Oh hi Keeley!" said Bella. Keeley must have beaten Bella to the table. "Oh I can't wait for quiditch class, are you doing it?" asked Bella. Bella was ready for classes, she loved first days.

Emily ran into the great hall and skidded to a halt next to Bella and Keeley. "YO!" she said. She smiled at them, she was psyched for classes! Her satchel on her hip jingled with the money she kept in there, she wasn't going anywhere that day where she thought she might need money, but you never knew. "So," Emily said plopping down next to them "I couldn't sleep a wink last night! I was reading the most interesting book!" The interesting book in question was, in fact, the divination text book. Emily was worried about her first year of divination, so she decidedt o put her mind at ease by reading the entire thing. It turned out she already knew most of an entire chapter, she had tarot cards and used them on a regular basis (though in secret mostly).

"GAH! Merlin's beard! Did you make it an art of scaring the heck out of me!" Still shaking her head she saw Perseus' interest with the food and grinned, "The food smells great, huh warrior?"

Pancakes, Bacon, Eggs galore! Allison had no idea where to start. So instead she grabbed a couple of everything. Seeing the orange juice at the table she scowled. "Orange juice gives me stomach aches. I like milk more," and with that she filled her goblet with milk instead.

In between bites, Allison swallowed at addressed Arya's question, "Of course I'm ready! Astronomy. So cool! Planets, stars, constellations! History! Because obviously each star has a history! Oh so great! I've decided to take up flying. I already know how, but...I want to practice more just in case I fail miserably at Quidditch tryouts." Allison hadn't given Quidditch the thought of day since the night before. And quite frankly, the mention of it again almost ended her appetite.

Keeley smiled, changing her skintone to a more dark, asian type color. But flying. Ugh. "Well, I'm going, but you know that I reeally don't like flying. But divination will probably be fun. I;ve always wanted to be able to see the future and all. I'm starting this year, too."

Arya laughed through her mouthfull of pancakes, taking a sip of her orange juice to wash it all down."Thought you would've been used to it by now."She felt Perseus turn his head towards Allison when she spoke to him. "don't get any ideas, you've already been fed this mourning."She looked back up to her food and grabed a piece of bacon, all that swiming had made her exteamly hungry but not tired. She just hoped she could make it through class without fidgeting."I've never flown alone on a broom. Always with my dad or brother cause they didn't want me to loose control with so many muggles near by."She couldn't wait to fly, being up in the air with her brother was amazing and she couldn't wait to do it on her own.

"Used to it. You're crazy Arya! You know I told my mum about that on my letter, that people here are crazy. I wonder if they hit their heads to hard when they were babies." Smirking Allison turned to Arya, "Did you ever fall of a horse and hit your head Arya?"

The gift of stopping her giggles was improving by large margins and with a big smile plastered on her face Allison bit into her eggs and swallowed like a neat young lady, "My cousin Biance taught me how to fly. She wasn't very nice about it. Anywho, I want to relearn. I was alright at flying...no great skill. Although I dun think I could have had much skill with my cousin screaming at me," Allison winced at the memory.
