Chelle looked up from her book to see Bella waving at her from the other couch. She smiled at her and then decided to go sit with Bella. "Hey Bella! How's it going?"

She was doing good things for Hogwarts. Yep.

Watching Georgie twirl made Madiison want to dance. But then again it might not be a very good idea if the thirteen-year-old broke into dance randomly in the middle of the common room. Especially since there was no music. The dancing will have to wait. Besides she was busy trying to make her robes unique. AND THERE WAS THE SPELL!

"Thanks." Di mumbled and looked at the spell. It wasn't one she had learnt, but she was sure she could master it in no time. It wasn't hard. But ... "Am I ALLOWED to do this?" Wasn't this tampering with the uniform? She would have gotten a detention at Beauxbatons.

That signature beam was back in place again. Georgie watched Di curiously as she studied the spell. "You're welcome. It's kind of an advanced spell, but it's easy to learn, especially if you really really want it," she explained with a nod. Of course, she learned it the day they had the lesson. Yes, she was gifted, she knew.

Hmm. Wait. WAS she allowed? WERE they? :O

Georgie thought for a bit, then shrugged. "I suppose so. I mean, I saw the prefect with something kind of like this." She pointed to her uniform. "And besides, no one's reprimanded for me yet, so I'm assuming it's alright. Besides, it looks FAB!"

And it was so true.

Satine hurried into the CR with great excitement. This was the best place to make new friends and meet up with old friends. With Gemma, her pet chinchilla, on her shoulder, Satine bounced through the opening and headed towards her favorite chair near the fireplace. She couldn't wait for it to become cold enough to be lite all day and all night.

She plopped down on the chair suddenly and Gemma skidded off her shoulder and into her lap from the momentum. Satine quickly glanced around and looked for anyone she knew or anyone she might like to know.

Her focus was instantly sent to a new face that she couldn't remember running into over the last two terms, but had obviously been here the whole time. She had seen the face in passing at the Feast, but now was her chance to get a name for the face. She didn't like interrupting conversations or just butting in, but this kind of seemed like a great time to join...right?

She smiled and pushed one of her loose bangs behind her ear..."Did you say a jungle gym? How exciting? Where is it at..." she paused to see if he would respond and then decided maybe she should introduce herself.

"O I'm sorry, Howzit, I'm Satine!" she said as she held out her hand and put on her most welcoming smile while reassuring herself that it was all about meeting new peeps and making your mark this year.

Helena stepped into the Common Room, eyes wide with wonder. She couldn't believe how...luxurious this was! It was all shades of blue and bronze, and the seating areas were so plush. She couldn't wait to...oh, something in a corner opposite the door. She moved closer.

"Wit beyond measure..." She began aloud, but trailed off as she read the rest of the motto silently. It seemed intensely personal to her, and she didn't want to share this moment of profound exhiliration with anybody just yet. She rocked back on her heels, thinking about the message Rowena Ravenclaw had wanted to extend to her pupils.

Then, realizing that others were crowding around, wishing to see the statue more closely, she started and ducked out of the way to let them see, too.

Helena breathed in deeply, and gazed around the room, in search of a friendly face. Maybe Nina, or Vashti, or even someone she hadn't met yet.

Emilia had passed Allison on the staircases as she had made her way up to the 7th floor. She had seemed to be in a rush, maybe she had forgotten something. Emilia entered the common room amid a tide of other students but that didn't distract her from the sights before her.

The first thing she noticed was the blue carpet, it was soft and squishy under her feet. It felt nice after having climbed so many steps of stairs. She really needed to find a shorter way of getting to the common room, her feet ached. Next she looked up at the ceiling, brightly painted stars shone down on her, she sighed, it reminded her of Iceland, she could see the stars because she had lived out in the country, this would definitly be her favorite spot. She scanned the circumfurance of the room, noticing the squish chairs, fireplace, books, and large windows. She also noticed two staircases and a large statue. She decided to investigate and so approached the large marble figure. She read the plaque that had ROWENA RAVENCLAW scrawled across it in a delicate script and then noticed that there were words scrawled in the small crown that pearched on the statues head.

She never had a chance to read them, because something else caught her eye. She made her way over to the window and looked out over the forest and the surrounding mountains. She stared out the windows and squinted, she was positive she had seen something. She blinked and thought she saw something dive down into the forest, she was positive.

'Well that certainly was a trek.' Jude Harrison thought to himself as he stepped into the Ravenclaw Common Room. He had been searching for his friend and fellow fifth year James Carter who had disappeared into the crowd after they left the feast a few minutes ago.

Sighing, he saw a few students sitting with each other and he kept his distance since he didn't know them that well. Choosing to take a seat by the fireplace, Jude sat down and relished in the warmth that radiated from the flames. His blue/green eyes gazed into the flickering light as he thought about the year to come.

Isabella stepped into the common room, her mind on other things, and her stomach full from the feast. She didnt really feel like going to bed just yet so sh looked round the common room. There were a few students, many in there own conversations. But she say one boy on his own. Smiling to herself she stepped towards him. Casting one more look round the room and towards the stairway leading to the girls dormitory's, she sat down on a chair near the fireplace shyly and looked towards the boy she had sat near.
"Hello" She said smiling, feeling shy

Jude was brought out of his stupor by a girl sitting down near him.

"Hello there." Jude replied with a weak smile of his own, straightening up in his seat and surveying the girl. She looked to be about his age, but with all the students there, he could never tell.

"How are you this evening?"

Isabella smiled at the boy,
"Hey, Im Isabella Evans, you can call me Bella though"
Bella looked into the common room fire, watching the fire crackle and spit before her. She jumped suddenly, she had felt herself drifting. Sleep seemd to what to come, she fought it. And won
"Im good thank you, yourself?" She asked turning back to the boy. She swayed the boy, he looked at few years older then her, but these days she could have got it wrong

Ahhhh - she was home.

Unbelievably tired from the whole train plus feast extravaganza she usually didn't have to go through since she lived a ten minute walking distance from Hogwarts, the seventh year old felt an upsurge of energy and relief as she stepped into the common room with a mad smile on her face.

She was indeed home. Flopping down on her favourite blue couch, she took off the summer scarf she had transformed her Ravenclaw winter one into and loosened her tie a bit before looking around. "Hey Cela!" she waved at her friend - who WAS in fact a Prefect. Hehe.

WHY wasn't she taking Divination again?

"It's a pleasure to meet you Bella, my name is Jude Harrison." he replied with his Australian accent coming out a bit.

'Grrrrrrr, hope she doesn't notice and ask a lot of questions.' he thought with a flicker of his eyes.

"I'm doing pretty well, just getting associated with the castle and all."

Coming downstairs to the common room, Thana grabbed a book off the walls and plopped herself down onto a comfy chair. 'I'll probably go and explore the castle in a few hours.' she thought.

Dalanie walked into the common room. She saw her Best Friend Mina already sitting there waiting for her. She sat in the armchair across from her.

"So, what did you want to talk about?"

Emily Walked up to the common room and took in a deep breath through her nose, there is was, the familiar and comforting smell of new parchment, old books, and ink. She loved the common room and spent load of time there, though she was always quiet. What Emily found funny was that most of her friends were ravenclaws, and she didn't mind that, they had her sam love of classes and fun. Emily looked around, would she meet new friends soon?

Celandine was watching two girls take a leaf out of her own book and change the colour of the stitching of their uniforms when Rachel entered.

Cela immediately bounced over and flopped down next to her, speechlessly pointing at Rachel and then at her own badge and then at Rachel a few times before finding her voice.

"Focusing on NEWTs this term?"

That had to be it, right?

Out of the corner of her eye Allison saw Emilia. She hadn't crossed many words with her, but she seemed nice enough. Nice enough to hide behind instead of sitting down next to a seat beside Adrienne like she was doing.

Emilia=escape.

Seat=Oh noes. Oh noes. Oh noes.

And seat she took. Grinning awkwardly Allison looked at Adrienne and kept her eye-sight there. She would not coward away and run. Well maybe in a few...

"I'm okay. Really okay. Guess what?? I signed up for Quidditch try-outs." She then gave a very big visual gulp. Cela would be proud...right?

She loved the blue of this room... It was all so preeeettty, and relaaaaxxxiing and just sooooothi- EEEK!

Rachel jumped up from her slumped position as Celandine Toussaint dropped herself on the couch right NEXT to her - a move the seventh year had not been expecting. At all. Well, ladies and gentlemen, Cela.

"Yeahuh," she nodded with a smile and held up her hand for a high-five. "Way to go, Prefect Toussaint!" she added with a huge smile, honestly happy for the sixth year. Plus, by the looks of things, Ravenclaw might just have TWO Head Girls in a row - Lobster now and Cela next year.

They RULED.

Did someone just say Quidditch?

YAAAAY - fresh blood. "Excellent move, if you ask me!" Rachel beamed the young girl talking to some other young girl, holding her thumbs HIGH up in the air for Quidditch Tryout Firstie girl to see.

YAAAYYY. Home sweet hommeee!

The fresh fire gave the Common Room a cozy feel and Livvy immediately felt a good ten times warmer than she had been before in the hallway. Her heart soared into the air happily at the idea of returning back. She had missed this place so much! The windows staring out at the Quidditch Pitch and the grounds. The bookshelves... the comfy couches that were already full with people sitting on them. Livvy felt like she could just SIIINNGGG!!!

Glancing around, Livvy spotted her twwwooo favorite people. Grinning, she skipped on over and sat down on the floor next to them. "Hiya Celaaaa... Raccheell!" Saw them just moments ago, but she was still so happy to see them.

Nina walked into the common room after visiting the owlery and the library. She quickly visited the dormitory to grab one of her school books. Transfiguration as she was most interested in that subject. And sat in a chair near the fire. She was ALWAYS cold. But this fire was so warm! She opened her book and began to read, wondering if any of her new friends would join her soon.

Upon entering the Ravenclaw common room, Vashti paused, looking around in awe. It was beautiful! Everything captured her attention - the ceiling, the carpet, the statue, the-

"BOOKS!" she exclaimed, not at all ashamed by her sudden outburst - she was never shy when it came to books. Especially so many books! She rushed over and immediately scanned the titles of each book on the shelves she could reach. After a minute or two of scanning, she pulled out a random book and went to sit in a chair by the fire. It was then that she noticed Nina, sitting not too far away from her, and also reading a book.

"Hey, Nina," Vashti greeted. "What're you reading?"

"Hi." Nina said looking up to see who had addressed her. "Just my Transfiguration textbook. I can't wait for classes to start. What do you have there?"

Even without using her ability, like she'd done to Ian at the feast, Adrienne could tell Allison was nervous. About what, she wasn't quite sure, but in the same respect, she wasn't going to pressure her into anything. If it was Torin, Phoebus, or any of her other really good friends, maybe she'd get more into teasing them about things. But Allison was a little firstie, and she was beginning to think either she wasn't used to people or she just had a nervous personality. Therefore, she was going to be nice. And let her retreat if she wanted.

But Allison sat nearby, and Adrienne gave her another friendly smile at the awkward grin the girl gave her. "Okay. You just seemed kind of uncomfortable, and I didn't want to feel like you felt the need to talk to me or something," she explained, before smiling again. "Cool. You'll have a lot of fun with it, really. I mean, it's hard, but fun." What with the whole fact they needed to get the cup back and all. But she wasn't about to be an evil captain to achieve that. Her team wasn't her brother, so she didn't have to be evil.

And then she heard someone trying to motivate Allison, about the signups and all, and she turned to see Rachel nearby, sitting by Cela and Livvy. "See, Allison? We're all proud of you, and excited, and I bet Rachel or I, or any of the older students who've played Quidditch before would be there for you. And help, or anything." Even Cela had played in at least one match, and she knew the prefect would cheer anyone on, and be there to help out. They needed to House Cup back too, and it would be awesome if they could manage to get both again this term.

"Oh thats great!" Celandine looked over at Allison and smiled brightly. "I bet you'll do way better than I did, I'm more made for cheering anyway."

Because when she'd been playing, Cela had gotten seriously distracted WATCHING rather than actually... playing much.
Celandine high fived back, a small and pleased smile on her face. "You'll tell me if I do anything wrong I hope!" She laughed cheerfully.

Already Cela was proving to be an.... influence. Judging by the whole unifrom stitching thing.

But there were no rules about the colours of your stitches! Cela had checked this thoroughly.

"I feel strange." Cela commented by way of hello. "I need homework."

Twitchtwitch.

"What did you all do over the summer break?" Cela asked, looking over at Adrienne as well.

Sigh. She soo wished she could share a dorm with these three. Maybe she could just.... move in and get away with it. Becca and Melly and Lucy would hardly miss her, right?

"Um." Vashti turned the book around so that she could read the title. "Quidditch Through the Ages. I just kinda picked a random book off the shelf. So, you're looking forward to Transfiguration, huh? What other classes are you looking forward to?"
