"Lets go to the lake and talk shall we" Damon said. He beckoned to her to follow him and he walked out of the room. A new beginning was about to start.

Bonnie smiled. "Sure." She grinned and flicked back her hair. She brush a teensy bit of lip gloss over her lips. Pale pink.

She followed him slowly, awkwardly. Her first real relationship! Gasp. Gulp. Sneeze. Sneeze? Okay..

"Er, well," Kellen glanced between the two girls, before shrugging and giving his own little blurb on himself. Nice and theatrical-like, "I'm a Taurus who enjoys horseback riding and spending summers at the beach. My stubborn nature and default setting of emotionally obtuse are aspects of my personality that I labour upon daily to improve. I live with my parents and three younger sisters, though my parents are rarely home, and have recently installed three locks on my bedroom door to keep said-sisters out. I also like pie."

He gave them both a 'how was that?' smile.

Maura smiled at Scarlett. "Great! We can schedule something soon. I'd love to practice with you."
Shoes and dresses? Maura rarely wore skirts, and she usually would label girls who obsessed over shoes and clothes and makeup as stuck-up, but Scarlett seemed far too nice for that. And, she supposed, dressing up might be nice once in awhile.

Maura flicked her gaze over to Bella. Her smile spread a little; she could tell that this was going to be a lasting friendship.

Maura turned her violet eyes onto Kellen, surprised at the eloquence of the words that fell off his lips. Her smile turned into a grin as she tried not to laugh. Ravenclaw through and through, all right. "Well, with serendipitous circumstances, we can strive to ameliorate such arduous aspects of said personality," she said with a smirk. "And I also like pie."

"Well,I love seas better than hills.So spending time at beach is awesome.Maura,I'd love to dance with you.You must check out our dance group at the Academy.The are in various schools of performing arts while I'm in Hogwarts.All are extremely talented.And we do need some more members for our group.And I LOVE shopping.I mean,all girls do.What about you people?Prefer seas or oceans?"

Bella turned at returned Maura's smile, she had really warmed to her, she just knew they were going to be GREAT friends. "You alright Maura?" She asked, just for something to say.

"We can indeed," he smirked right back at her, "though I don't know how much luck we'll have. Perhaps it's just something that will come with time."

Kellen considered the pie comment, "We should go down to the kitchens at some point, I'm sure the house elves wouldn't mind making us some."

Kellen had already given his beach answer, so he just smiled and looked around to see what the others would say.

Maura smiled. "Well, maybe I'll think about looking at that dance academy. I don't know." She pursed her lips. "Well, I'm not really all tht into shopping, personally. I mean, I do go sometimes to get new clothes, but it's not exactly something I'd call fun." She smiled apologetically and gave a little shrug.

"Um, yes, I'm fine, thanks. How about you?" Maura asked.
Maura grinned. "All right. Well, we'll work on it." She considered him thoughtfully. "It's not an entirely hopeless cause. You seem decent enough, though I think being around all those big words might get irritating." She laughed.

"Mmm, that's a good idea," said Maura. She pointed a finger at him and raised her eyebrows slightly in a "good point" gesture. "Of course they wouldn't mind. They love helping us out."

Bella smiled at Maura, "I know it was a strainge question to ask, but i had to say something!" She giggled. "Im fine thanks" She added smiling.

She looked round at all her friends and smiled, she was so glad she had them as friends otherwise she would have had no one.

Maura smiled. "Oh, that's all right." She smoothed down her long curls and kicked her Converse-clad feet up onto the arm of the couch that she was sitting on. Sensing a lull in the conversation, she resumed staring into the fire.

"Hey!Nice shoes! Real Chuck Taylor material?",Scarlett asked excitedly.

Maura looked down at her feet at the compliment reflexively, as though she had to check and see what shoes she had on. It was a strange habit. "Thanks. Um, yeah," she said. "They're classics. Very comfortable. I have a few other pairs up in my dormitory, too." She gave Scarlett a quick smile.

Emily had her nose burried in a book as she walked across the common room, she walked in a straight line, shortest distance right? she walked and fell right over someones lap MAGICAL! Emily dropped her book and looked up at the person "I am so sorry!" Emily said to the obviously older girl. "Please don't be mad" EMily added, then said in a worried vopice "are you hurt?" she asked.

Bella screamed as she saw someone fall over Maura, dropping the book she had been reading instead of looking where she was going, onto the floor. She ran forward and pulled her up, looking down at Maura.

"Maura, you alright?" She asked worried, giving the girl a glare. Before recognising her.

"Hey dont i know you?" SHe asked the girl.

"Maura,are you alright?Didn't get hurt did you?",Scarlett asked Maura.The she helped Bella pull the other girl up and asked,"What was going on in your mind?Thank God that it is the common room.What it it would have been a rock instead of Maura?You could have split your head into pieces!Are you alright?"

Maura turned away from Scarlett and everyone else as someone approached. She assumed that the girl was going to stop, but she kept on coming, and Maura was very much surprised when all of a sudden there was a girl in her lap. She gasped a little and pulled back reflexively at the impact, but there wasn't much she could do. "Don't worry about it," she assured the girl. "Accidents happen, right?" She picked up the girl's dropped book and handed it to her.

"Guys, really, it's fine," she told her friends. "No, of course I'm not hurt. Relax, it wasn't her fault." She looked back at the girl who'd made a couch out of her. "What's your name, anyway, dear?" she asked kindly.

Kellen's mind had started to wander as the girls talked about shoes, but suddenly someone new was falling over Maura's lap and they were all screaming and asking if everyone was all right. And then everyone was all right. It was official; girls would always be a mystery to him.

Bella looked at the new girl, she looked at Kellen, and she looked at Scarlett and Maura. She looked at he whole group and laughed. She couldn't help it! It was so funny!

"Sorry guys, but ti's so funny" She didn't even know why she was laughing! Shaking her head, to stop herself she asked the group

"What's everyone talking about?" Something to say at least.

Maura smiled back at Bella. She wasn't entirely sure what was so funny. It wasn't every day you got sat on by mistake. However, she felt out of place if she just sort of watched while everyone else laughed. So instead of laughing along with Bella (because, really, what was so funny?) she smiled at the fact that Bella was amused. Yep, always a crowd-pleaser, that's me.

Miles walked into the Common Room quietly and closed the door behind him. He looked around at everyone, talking...mingling...blissfully unaware of the schools issues and his own. Who said ignorance wasn't bliss... Swallowing he moved toward the centre of the room and cleared his throat, "Could...could everyone come here please..." he said not nearly loud enough to be heard. He glanced down at his hands that he had stopped and bandaged and then back up. "Excuse me...I need your attention..." he said a little louder and sighed. He was too short for this room. Looking around again he spotted the coffee table and stood up on it so he was several heads taller than everyone, "HELLO! CAN EVERYONE STOP TALKING!"

He waited for the talking to die down and people to turn toward the crazed man on the table...him. "I'm here to inform you of what's going on and why you were all asked to come here. As you have noticed...we're missing one Prefect...things have been happening. Strange things and Headmaster Tate has asked for us to remain in our dormitories. The school has been placed on lockdown." There...it was said, why did it make him feel sick. He looked around, or tried to as his vision started to blur. Shaking his head to clear it he opened his eyes waiting for the onslaught of questions.

Phoebus looked up from a pile of books as Miles spoke, one eyebrow raised in curiosity as he addressed everyone who was talking. He seemed on edge, Phoebus thought. He needed a calming draught. A mild one, he thought with a little frown.


" Lockdown?" Phoebus said, looking at him. " What's going on?" He asked standing and immediately looking for Adrienne. If they were on lockdown, then by Merlin's PANTS she better be in this room. Or in the dorms...bah same difference, he needed to see her to feel better DARN IT.

Miles' head seared in pain and he placed his head in his hands. Had they heard him? Did he say anything at all? It was hard to tell now with his brain running a mile a minute.

Looking down as he heard a voice he thought he spotted Phoebus but if he was honest he was seeing double... "Yes lockdown..." He swallowed and looked around. "We're not sure but people are getting hurt and some things were found by the forest..." he swallowed again, his mouth feeling dry. "Is it hot in here?" He was feeling dizzy again and slid off the table until he was sitting down on it. "And Cela's gone and....bloody robes were found...and wands were found...and I'm having to do this all myself..." Looking up he couldn't keep his eyes focused on anything as it all seemed to spin around him. "I...I don't feel so good...."

Taking in Mile's unwell appearance...well, Phoebus panicked a moment. He didn't know what to do if he fell or broke something or...anything.

Wait. YES HE DID.

Chiding himself for forgetting his own abilities in a moment of panic induced stupidity, he nodded as Miles spoke. " Yeah, that's a pretty good reason to be a bit overwhelmed," He said.

He got up, walking over to the table the Prefect was currently slumped against and eyed him. " You don't look good. How many fingers am I holding up?" He asked, waving four of them in front of Miles' face.

After classes, and studying, and everything, Adrienne had sort of fled to the dorms for some quality time with Christian, Tory and Dolce. But after a while, she'd gotten bored with the quiet, and had scooped all three pygmy puffs up into her arms and headed back down toward the common room . . . Only to see Miles up on the furniture as she got halfway down the stairs, and, listening to him, her blue eyes widened a little. Prefect missing? Lockdown again?, she thought, remembering previous terms. It almost made her happy she was leaving after this term. Except for a few things.

One of which came into sharp relief as she saw Phoebus looking around for her. Making her way down the rest of the stairs and over to him, she deposited her pets into his chair and lightly touched his arm before turning to Miles. Hopefully she could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. make Phoebus feel better and figure out what was going on. Not that Miles' rambling was helping. "Cela's just gone? Like, kidnapped gone?," she asked, worried about the other prefect now. The bloody robes and all of the other stuff was freaky, but people that she knew missing? Way worse in her mind right now.

Although, Miles really didn't look good himself, which was verified when he kind of looked really loopy, and she followed Phoebus as he went over to check on him. "Should we take him to the hospital wing?," she asked, still waiting to see what the younger boy was going to say to the fingers question. And she sort of lightly let her ability brush against him herself, not really prodding but getting a sense of what was going through his head. Phoebus could do the talking, but she wasn't about to not help in her own way. Plus, there was the possibility her status as Quidditch captain would help if they really were supposed to stay in the tower. Like, she was almost a prefect, right?

Maura was sort of vaguely aware, like in the back of her mind vaguely aware, that someone on the other side of the common room was trying to get the attention of the whole room. But she wasn't curious enough to check it out until said person started yelling. She turned in her chair to raise an eyebrow at the guy disrupting her peace, and put her feet up on the arm so as to sit more comfortably, twisted around backwards.

Lockdown? Maura's face went blank. She could hardly believe her own ears. As far as she was aware, Hogwarts had only gone into lockdown a handful of times, and that had all been years ago. Something pretty terrible must have been happening for this to occur. Maura figured at ordinarily, she'd have a thousand questions bouncing around against the walls of her head, but they all flew out as she thought about the situation.

Oh, this was not good.
