"Hi!Nice to meet you!",Scarlett said to the supposedly same year girl who was talking to Namitha."I'm Scarlett.Scarlett Nicole Taylor."

She had so many people talking to her it was not normal. She was used to people ingnoring her, but now they were talking to her. Here she sat with her friends Elora, Kellen and Maura. And was calling across the common room at two otehr girls, Namitha and Scarlett. Impossible!

Bella smiled at the new girl that began to talk to her, Scarlett. She liked the name. "Hey Scarlott, Im Isabella Sabrina Evans, Bella for short" She called back to her, giggling.

Maura smiled and waved back. "Hi, Kellen. It's nice to meet you," she said cheerfully.

Maura smiled at Bella. "Okay Bella, it's nice to meet you too!" She turned to the other people in their small cluster. "Hi, Bella's friends. Maura Silvermoon, sixth year." She giggled.

He tried to shrug off his overreaction, a sheepish look on his face, "It's definitely grown on me as well."

"Nice to meet you, too." She was a little too far away to shake hands with, so he just nodded a greeting.

Then another girl joined the group, and he realized that there were now five of them to one of him. Something wasn't right with this picture. With what he hoped was a nonchalant look, he scanned to common room for another boy to join in the conversation.

Bella smiled, there group had got bigger, six people! five girls and one boy! She felt sorry for Kellen.
"Maura, so tell me a little about yourself" She said, hoping to strick conversation.

Bella noticed Kellen feeling uncomfortable with so many girls around him. She noticed him looking for another guy, she smiled his way. "Well i think it might miss this place when its time to go" She told him, not wanting to distract him. "And my friends"

Bella looked around the common room, wondering what all six of them could do
"Guys, i fancy doing something fun, any ideas?"

Suddenly remembering her manners, Maura stood up and leaned over Bella to shake Kellen's hand.

She realized all of a sudden that Kellen was the only boy in the group, which was undoubtedly not what he had intended. Poor kid. Maybe some more boys would come join them soon.

"Oh, um..." said Maura. "Well, I'm a dancer. Everything from ballet to American hip-hop." She glanced around the crowded common room. "We don't need to see that now," she added. "Er, that's my only talent really, what else would you like to know?"

On hearing Maura say that she's a dancer,Scarlett exclaimed out,"Oh really!Well I'm a dancer too.Primarily trained in Indian classical dance.But,I can dance tango,salsa and do some belly dance too.Also,do not forget Jazz and ballet."

Bella smiled at both girls, she too had been trained in dance and singing when she was little. She knew she was going to bond well with these girls.
"I too was trained in Ballet, Tap and Jazz when i was little. Also singing" She told the group, smiling. She was sad she had to give it up when she came here, but she didn't regret it. It wasn't like she no longer did those things, she did when she got home.

She turned to Maura, "I dont really know, i dont really mind what you tell me" She smiled.

Wow, there were certainly a lot of dancers in the group! Kellen listened with interest as the girls described the different types of dancing they were trained in, wondering if this was a feature of Ravenclaw girls or if the ones in other houses were dancers too. If it existed school-wide, they could probably turn the place into a dance academy!

Hie!Scarlett told the boy(rather the only boy in the group.)Do you feel left out?Oh,plese dont.We could probably be good friends.(thinking that maybe her words were too plain as a conversation starter.)

Bella turned and looked at Kellen, thinking. She knew he was on his own, she couldn't help it, she guessed. She didn;t know what to say to him, well she didn;t know what to say to everyone in the group. Her shyness had taken over again. She looked away, thinking what she could say next.

"So.." She started in a small voice.

"Oh really?" asked Maura. "That's great! I've never actually tried belly dancing. Hmm, actually I've never really thought about it. I've trained the most in ballet, jazz, modern, and hip-hop. It might be nice to be around other people who have trained in different areas of dance." She gave Scarlett a wide smile.

"That's awesome. Maybe we can help each other out and such, when we all have free time. I haven't been around other dancers since before the summer." At her next comment, Maura tilted her head. "Hmm, well, I'm awful at singing. My cousin's a singer, though."

"All right. Er, well, I'm seventeen, I'm old for a sixth year. My favorite color is blue, my favorite ice cream is Bertie-Bott's Beans, and I can't think of anything else to say at the moment." She laughed.

"You know what,you have just suggested a great idea!We could practise some good deal of dance moves during the vacations.I usually train with the dance group at my performing arts academy from where I'm doing my correspondence lessons.And,my fav color IS blue.And I love new shoes and dresses!",Scarlet exclaimed.

Bella smiled at both girls, she could really connect to them. She new this conversation was turning into a girly one, and she felt sorry for Kellen. She looked his way before answering.
"Thanks for the info" She giggled, "I love the dancing idea Scarlet" She added nodding.

Her turn, "Im 13, I have a little brother Luke. Were orphaned and live with our Aunt Emma. My favourite colour is Pink, fav flower White Rose and i love singing, dancing and performing in the theatre" She smiled after she finished. Yeah they were so going to get on fine!

"Left out? No, it's fine." He shrugged with a smile, "It's great that you're all connecting over a shared interest."

Kellen didn't mind that they were talking about dancing in the slightest. So long as they left him out of it, of course. Because all he knew how to do was the formal ballroom stuff they'd been taught at his last school, and next to all the styles they were talking about that didn't seem comparable in the slightest.

Whoa, and then they were exchanging bio blurbs? He looked at Bella thoughtfully; there sure were a lot of orphans at this school.

Bella felt Kellen's gaze on her, she turned to look at him and smiled. "Tell us a bit about you Kellen" She asked, hoping to add him to the conversation.

She looked round the common room again as she waited.

"Yes,exactly.Why don't you tell us about you?It sure would be very interesting.",Scarlett said with a smile.

Damon was sitting in the common room again after having been down by the lake. A stack of books was in front of him. At the current time he was writing a 100 page article. It detailed his feelings about the current state of things. He did however wish that Bonnie was here. He desperately wanted to talk to her.

Bonnie entered the common room and smiled. Beautiful...She sighed in content and walked to the couch. She sat into it and practically sank into it.

Tired...

Bonnie yawned and rested her head on the side of the couch. She had spent all afternoon chatting with Mika. "Cool nickname." she muttered to herself. Her stomach was churning about the advice Mika had given her...

Bonnie's eyes darted around, looking for Damon. She breathed in deeply and stared at the Rowina Ravenclaw statue. Calmmmmm!!!!! Breatheeeee!!! She told herself though her mind seemed to be running around the place.

Then she saw him. A smile appeared on her face. "Damon?" she asked, turning towards him. "I actually wanted to talk to you..."

"Hello Bonnie and how are you today" asked Damon. It looked like she wanted to talk him. "Go ahead Bonnie what is on your mind" Damon asked. He had to take deep breaths as well.

Bonnie sucked in a breath. "Okay." she murmured. She brushed back her hair behind ear. "Well..you know the way, you used to am...be going out with K?" her stomach was churning. She had to look away from him now.

She flicked back her hair. "Well..we have been friends since...forever! Well...why don't we..." she couldn't finish. The nerves were taking over. She felt faint. Couldn't she just wait for him to do it? Nah! This is the centry of the women!

"If you want the two of us to go out together that is not a problem at all am i correct that is what you were trying to say" Damon asked. This would be a good time for the two of them.

Bonnie slid down from the chair. "Okay, yeah...you're right." she gulped. "Am..what did you want to say?" she pushed herself back up, now her colour coming back to her. That was the scariest thing she had EVERRRRRR done!

Mika, you are the besttttt!!! Mikaela Cauldwell I owe you a chocolate frog. she thought. Bonnie's heart was pounding. Thump-thump! Thump-thump! Her head was light again. She pushed back her hair behind her ear.

"I was going to ask you the same thing." said Damon. His heart was leaping by itself at this news. Now he had to figure out what they could do. Obviously a well funded day in Hogsmeade might be a start or maybe he could give her a gift of some sort.

Bonnie's heart leaped. "That's...good! It was so hard waiting!" she beamed. She stroked his cheek and blushed at the doing.
