"Well done. Gold medal is awarded to Destiny, Evelyn takes the Silver and Gold claims the Bronze." Marcus made his way back to the front of the room and released his wand.

"I am very impressed and very proud of you all. You all seem to know your stuff about Olympics or at the very least you know how to read out of a text book." His lips twitched into a small smile, just so long as they remembered it what they had read, he didn't care how they knew the answers.

With a flick of his wand, Marcus removed the cover off the table resting against the far wall. Sitting on the table was an assortment of fruit, pumpkin pasties, chocolates, candies and glasses of juice, soda and water. "I think we could all do with a break and so please help yourselves to the food on the table. Rest and rejuvenate, talk amongst yourselves and we shall continue round two in a little while."

Oh, good!

Gold totally wanted to grab herself something to eat, RIGHT now. She knew she hadn't been the fastest to answer stuff, but at least she knew this subject well. That was good enough, for her.

She took a deep breath to calm her nerves, glad she didn't have to raise her hand again, for a while.

Arya stoped her page fliping and ploped her head on the book, glad to be geting a much needed break. She hoped out of her seat and skiped over to the table full of food, not knowing what to start with. And then she saw it...pie. She grabed a big slice of pumpkin pie and juice. Then she headed back to her desk and began to devour the food.

A break, is just what she needed to rest her somehow cramped arm and to calm down her rapidly beating heart.

Pushing the Olympics book away from her slightly, she stretched in her seat for a moment before laying her head down on the table. She did not want any of the food or drinks, for her own reasons of course, and she was content with just sitting there until the quiz started back up again.

Or maybe talking to Destiny would be a little more fun. Or maybe Josh...where was he anyway? She hadn't heard him most of the time during the class. Only at the beginning and well, who couldn't hear him then? Teehee.

Thank Merlin! That had to be the worst pop quiz thing-a-ma-bob ever. It was worse than that dreaded potions pop quiz. Destiny would rather have potion filled balloons pop over her head than spend a whole class talking about sports. Unless it was Quidditch, but they would not talk about that in this class. Muggles did not play Quidditch..

Facing the hug stealing enemy Evelyn, Destiny put her head on the table and closed her eyes, 'If I start to snore, wake me up.' She had a feeling Lawson would not tolerate sleeping in his class.

It wasn't her fault muggles bored her to sleep.

Oh, nice. They would have a break, finally. Answering those not-so-brainstorming questions was kinda easy and pretty boring when you were not into sports. But one thing that made that quiz really fun, was competing with other students and simultaneously earning points for the house.

He glanced around, and noticed that a girl he met before, was beside him. He still remembers her name. Evelyn, her name was. He gazed at her keenly with curious eyes, wondering why she wasn't taking any drinks or just even candies. "Hello there," said he, "Fancy a butterbeer?" Cedric asked her, smiling meekly as he offered her the drink.

Opening her eyes when she heard her friend speak next to her, Evelyn nodded her head on the table, indicating that yes, she would wake her up if she started snoring. "Sure thing." she muttered, sitting up again.

Not taking her eyes off of Destiny, she slowly bent down and opened her bag before pulling something skinny, black, and small out. She'd never seen one of these things before, but her uncle sent it to her for starting her second year of school. It was supposed to be like a muggle pencil, but it was permanent? Somehow, the ink stayed in this little tube...

Well, she had to test it out somehow, and she definitely would wait until Destiny was snoring...

Lowering the plin, or whatever it was called, down, Evelyn looked in front of her to see a boy standing there. A boy that she remembered from last years Divination flower class. Wasn't his name Cedric or something? And he was offering her a drink? "Umm...Thank you." she said quietly, taking the cup before slowly putting it on her desk. It was nice of him, she had to admit, to do that, and it even bewildered her, but, well her old habits just died hard.

"You are...Cedric, am I right?" she asked, a slightly amused expression on her face as she looked back up to him. He was a Hufflepuff, and if she were to remember correctly, he would be a fourth year this year.

Ruffling his curly and tangling hair (according to that lollipop girl), Cedric smiled at the girl. It was considerate of her to accept the drink he'd offered. And he an Evelyn didn't only share one class last year but two class, remember the snow ball war while flying on a broom? bleh. That memory was terrifying, girls looked after him, mercilessly throwing snow balls at him. He shook his head slightly, coming back to his senses. He had just realised that ge was staring blankly for a few seconds. Oh, man..

"You're welcome," he almost mumbled the words then paused. Rubbing the back of his neck, he continued, "Ah, right.. and you are Evelyn, right?" he asked, though his tone weren't definitely asking. He smiled at her broadly, fascinated by the girl. For him, she was kind of beguiling.

Leaning back against her chair, she crossed one leg over the other and stared at him. She couldn't tell if he seemed nervous or if he was just a laid back kind of guy. In fact, the only thing she remembered about him was that his name was Cedric, he was a Hufflepuff, and he was a fourth year. Other than that, nope. Nada. But he seemed alright as far as Hufflepuffs went of course. Not someone that she would invite into her group though, but he was alright for now.

"Yes, I'm Evelyn." she said with a small laugh and smile. It was, kinda awkward for him to be standing there while she sat, (and awaiting the moment when it was indicated that Destiny had in fact fallen asleep), she turned to the empty seat next to her and scooted the seat over slightly towards him wit hehr foot so he could sit. "You don't have to stand you know. Unless you want to of course."

Lawson did say to take a break, and sleeping would be considered a break, right? Besides, Evelyn had said she would wake her up if she snored..but she didn't mention anything about if class resumed. Yeah.. 'Or if Lawson gets angry.' she added, eyes still closed. Personally, Destiny didn't trust Lawson. Not while she would be sleeping anyway. He would probably smash one of those pumpkin pasties all in her hair. That would be hard to get out.

Snuggling her head on her arms, Destiny tried to get as comfortable as she could. Why did the desks have to be made out of wood? It should be made out of..marshmallow. With that thought, she drifted off to sleep, dreaming about Lawson being chased by a man eating marshmallow.

At least she wasn't having a nightmare.

Sweet, she'd managed to stay silent through the whole class. Although she had a Muggle father, rapid-fire wasn't exactly Aschere's cup of tea. Juice and pumpkin pasties, on the other hand - she could handle aaaany day. This had to be the best class ever.
A few long minutes later, Aschere had returned to her desk with the aforementioned juice, pasties, fruit and chocolate. She loved chocolate.
Opening her textbook, she tried not to get pasty crumbs all over the pages as she flipped through. Some of these facts were interesting..

" Hi Kay" Rex told her. Rex read his textbook but read the answer late. Next qustion Rex will be answering the next question.

"A break. That's what I needed", of what Ginny thought.

She had been paying to much attention and found the Olympics very interesting to study and talk about. She walked over to the table and grabbed a bit of a snack.

Wait! What? How did Dylan just miss half of the lesson. Ok yes he had been in a slight daze, but surely not that much. He pulled his robes closer on him. He was very aware of his chest scar. He didn't like it being there. He had a feeling everyone was staring at him. Even if they weren't.

Olympics. Yes. Whatever they were. He was ready for the second half.

Jake was finishing up his tallys of how many medals ravenclaw had. They were doing pretty well, thanks to tibi. He wasn't doing half bad either though, which was rather suprising. He got a least 3rd fastest in a good 6 or so questions. And he was proud of himself for being the first to beat Tibi.

Now it was time for a break. Getting up he went towards the crowd to get a cool drink. Taking some juice and some choclate. He went back to his seat. And again started copying down main points from the book.

It had been about thirty minutes and Lawson decided that was enough of a break for the kids. He clapped his hands together a couple of times to get everyone's attention. He turned to the page of the text book where he had left off.

"Alright let's get straight back into it. Question eighteen. What does the five Olympic rings represent?"

"Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceana" he said

Reese raised her hand. "Africa, North and South America, Asia, Europe, and the Oceania," she answered.

Destiny totally fell asleep, but woke up with Lawson's annoying clapping.

'Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceana.'

She still knew the answer.

"Excellent. And the rings are interconnected to symbolize the friendship to be gained from these international competitions. So that's a Gold medal to Jacob, Reese takes the Silver and Destiny amazingly takes the Bronze." Yes Lawson hadn't missed that the girl had been asleep.

"Okay question nineteen. In the correct order, what are the colors of the rings?"

And she totally was just about to draw on Destiny's face....

"Blue, yellow, black, green, and red"

Marie raised her had

"They represent the continents of the world North and South America, Australia, Europe, Africa, and Asia"
