Professor Lawson walked around the classroom straightening up the chairs and desks and placing a text book on each desk. The room was decorated with posters and paraphernalia of past Muggle Olympic Games.
Happy that everything seemed to be in order, he flicked his wand at the door and it swung open.
"Come on in and find yourselves a seat, we'll be starting shortly. Please feel free to go through your text book. You will be needing it for this lesson." ooc: Please RP your character taking their seats. I will be back shortly to continue with the class. Please keep the chatting to a minimum, thank you. | |

Evelyn slumped slightly in her seat when Lawsguini lectured somewhat on the different events and things that woman have competed in. This quiz thing was stressful. And she was angry at herself for practically zoning out half the questions!!
Taking a deep breathe, she wrote a few noted here and there in her notebook, glancing at Tibi every now and then. They still have yet to have their 'talk'...along with Mr. Stutters. But he was just for the heck of it.

Tiberius picked up his quill and scribbled down the notes on his parchment. It seemed odd to him that women's events seemed to be added long after men's. He had no sense of the history of that sort of thing.
He chewed on his lip, wondering if women's quidditch uniforms ever included skirts...

Thank God the quiz was at hold, for a while. Gold grabbed her Muggle Studies notebook, picked up a quill, and began to jot the information down. She knew most of it already, though.
The long skirts bit was... sort of surprising. Every time she heard it, in fact. Gold frowned a bit as she wrote that down, too. Now, what else did they get to copy?

Practically out of breath, Ivory dipped her quill once again into her ink bottle. So far she'd been way to slow in looking through her textbook for the answers to the questions being asked. Her curiosity kept getting the better of her, she would pause to read other passages that were quite fascinating and by the time she opened her mouth to answer it was too late. Determined to try harder, she copied down everything the Professor said verbatim. Taking no chances to only writing what she thought was important, anything could be on the quiz. Anything!
