Professor Lawson walked around the classroom straightening up the chairs and desks and placing a text book on each desk. The room was decorated with posters and paraphernalia of past Muggle Olympic Games.
Happy that everything seemed to be in order, he flicked his wand at the door and it swung open.
"Come on in and find yourselves a seat, we'll be starting shortly. Please feel free to go through your text book. They did not allow its female athletes to compete in events without long skirts. How times have changed huh?" He chuckled as he looked as some of the females in the class.
"And in 1928, women competed in track and field events for the first time; however, so many collapsed at the end of the 800-meter race that the event was banned until 1960. They don't seem to have that problem now." Marcus grinned as he continued to move around the room. "Women's shooting events were first included in the Olympics in 1984 and in the 2000 Olympics was the first time that women were allowed to compete in the Olympics in weightlifting. You may want to write that down before we continue with the quiz, you never know when those questions might pop up."

Pierre quickly noted all of the trivia. He loved the Olympics and couldn't believe how long it took for women to be able to compete in all of the sports. He waited patiently for Lawson to start asking questions again. He also found there was no need for eye rolling at this lesson because it wasn't as easy as the last.
