Iris watched as Satine got hit by the ball. Ouch. She tried her best not to laugh at her state as Satine got up. Bunbury wouldn't approve of that hair. At. All.

She turned to listen to Lawson. Iris wanted to go and hit the targets (and pretend that they were scousers. hehe.), but she decided it would be better for her to stay here with these. Iris focused on Satine dribbling the ball, smiling encouragingly at her. "Yup, just like that. Go you!"

Iris laughed. "You never know, you could be. Just not in heels." She grinned and stole the ball from the circle. muaha. MY GO! yay! She dribbled the ball back and forth a few times, slightly quicker than she did when she was showing Tobias, until she tripped.

. "Ahh!" She put her arms out as she gained her balance - You know, because it really helps when you do that. She stood up and looked at Satine with grin, oops. Iris looked down to see that it wasn't the ball that she'd tripped up on, it was her shoe lace.

She rolled the ball to Tobias, so that he could give it another go and then sat on the floor and re-tied the lace. In a quadruple knot. Just to be safe.

Maybe sitting on the floor after giving Tobias the ball wasn't such a good safe idea though.

Ah, that sounded more like the Sabel he knew. Kellen grinned and waved a hand at his shins, "I'm shielded, sir. You can do your worst and I'll be fine. Besides, I thought you said you play? What position?"

He looked around at the other students; who were their other two group mates, again?

Jacob was impressed with Evan's skills. He possessed no althetic abilities. Jacob saw him get the ball intended for his team mate. Not like it was hard, Jacob aimed it right at him.

He decided to try something, he took a running start and lept- he was attempting to tackle Evan. He was in mid air, and still wasn't sure how this was going to work out.

Just for fun Sabel tapped his foot against the boy's shins. "Ah that they do indeed seem to be." He looked up, grinning. "It's a good thing to as my best tends to look like my worst in these soccer cases."

Darting to Kellen's side he stuck his foot in front of the boy's and snagged the ball away, dribbling a few feet away in playful challenge. "I used to be a midfield but they'd occassionaly stick me in the goalie position just to see if my slip-ups would do any good in defending the net. On occassion it did."

Dani perked up at the mention of the jungle gym. "It's kinda fun." She smiled. "Helps me work off some of the energy that most of the professors find annoying." She kicked the ball again. "Mr. Masterson is cool. He lets me play with his puppy."

Georgiana chuckled, she didn't doubt it. This girl was one of the ones who seemed to have been harassing Kay and Rex the other day. Though of course she hadn't seen the whole thing so Georgie couldn't justify it.

Georgiana missed the ball as it headed straight for Evan, she cursed lightly under her breathe, this guy obviously watched alot of it in TV and was incredibly athletic in this sport. "I'm a 4th Year Hufflepuff. Yourself?"

Seeing him pass to Marie, who didn't appear to be paying attention, Georgiana stole the ball, she looked to toss is to Jacob but he was in the area, ready to pounce on Evan. She wasn't sure how that was going to end out.

"Oy!" Kellen went after him with a boyish grin, "I thought we were supposed to form groups of four? Or are we just going to run around taking the ball from each other, now?"

Sabel paused to take a quick sweep around. The Professor had said that hadn't he? He glanced at Kellen's 'attack' and quickly switch the ball to the other foot as he spun around, keeping one arm out to block the other boy

"Yeah. That would probably be a wise idea." Now the only question was who they were to team up with. He wasn't entirely sure where Brant had gotten to.

Marie could tell by the look Evan was giving Jacob and Georgiana that he was not very happy right now. She knew that he took this game very seriousely, even if others didn't. She hoped the other two would pay more attention though and that Jacob wold stop messing with Destiny.
Watching as Evan took control of the ball and passed it to her she stuck out her right foot to catch it. She dribbled it a little before passing it back to him hoping that it would actually go towards him.
Hoping to put a smile back on his face she whispered to him "Come on smile, even though this isn't a real game we still have our date to look forward to." 'Date, wait, what? Oh no, I didn't just say that out loud did I?' Feeling her face get really hot and red she said "Erm, I mean we have the game to look forward to on Saturday." Oh no, what was he going to think now. Would he think she was crazy for assuming that the plans they had made for Saturday was actually a date? It was just two friends who were going to hang out together and watch a game. Is that what they were, just friends? Oh no, here come the butterflies again.

Jacob landed on the ground with an loud "ouffff!" There's a couple very good reasons he likes watching sports. This was one of them. He looked to the professor - surely it's been 30 minutes? Not seeing any relief in sight he got up and answered Georgie, "First year Slytherin."

Jacob saw Marie whispering things to Evan, they must be a couple. Jacob waited for another opportunity to get the ball, so far he wasn't doing so well.

Georgiana nodded at Jacob, to show she heard him, before stealing the ball, Evan seemed preoccupied. "Hey, Jake!" she called, sending it lightly towards him, yet fast enough Marie couldn't get it back. She was pretty confident Jacob could catch it.

He looked up at the call of his name, "Got it" he dashed toward it and kicked it, sending it swoaring through the sky. There was no telling where it was going land. He ran his hand through his hair, "I'm sorry guys I pretty much stink at this." He took off in the direction of the ball - hoping he'd get to it before it landed on someone's head.

He met the ball (which nearly landed on some older girl's head. That was close. Jacob turned and aimed at Georgie, "Here it comes" He proclaimed. With a kick it again sailed in the air - this time towards her.

Georgie jumped, hitting the ball with her stomach, stopping it from keeping soaring, she dribbled it a little ways and passed it back to him. Rats! Too far! She hoped he could somehow get it before Marie or Evan!

Mina glanced around for a possible group to join. She had kind of mastered the dribbling. Well, not really but just enough to get by for now at least. Her aim was a bit better, but the true test would be if she could really keep control of the ball when needed.

Allison stood still and the ball did the job for her. Because she was so rigid and scared out of her wits the ball hit her solid feet and returned to Emily unexpectadly fast. Thinking she was about to hurt Emily as well Allison yelped covered her eyes and began to pace on the spot, "Oh! I'm so bad at this! So bad! I should just ban myself from all types of sports. Trying out for Quidditch is a mistake. I need to hide somewhere! Anywhere!" Allison rose her hand up as an imaginary light bulb lit, "I got it! I'll flee from the school!

Sure her flying was a billion times better than she had ever expected, but one thing was being good with a broom, another completely different one was having the skill to play with any type of sport's ball, as the evil football was proving.

Kellen shrugged at Sabel, "I thought so. It's not very challenging with just two of us."

He looked around the gathered students and spotted two girls who seemed to be looking for another duo to join up with. He left Sabel with the ball and jogged over, "Hi. I don't suppose you two would mind being our partners, would you? We need two more. I'm Kellen."

Emily stopped the ball that had come perfectly to her, fast-but still. "Allie, chill, your doing fine. I'm sure you'll do really good at quidditch, you flew really well! You don't need to hide and I don't think it's possible to rn away from the school. But you did fine."

Emily kicked the ball back to Allison. She did it a little harder this time. She would help Allie get better a little bit at a time.

Mina turned to as she heard someone behind them. "Oh hi." she replied with a smile as she pulled Dal along. "Sure, why not." she added. The two boys seemed nice from what she could tell and she did feel a bit better being paired with someone from her own house. Besides, she did remember seeing Kellen around the common room and their house table. "I'm Mina and this is Dalanie." she said as she nudged her friend.

Arya was once again startled by Allison. She took her eyes off the ball thinking they were getting somewhere when Allison started rambling about how bad she was. Arya sighed a smile, waiting til Allison was finished speaking.Before she could say anything Emily spoke. Arya looked from Emily to Allison, "I agree with Em. Your doing great Allie. Just don't let me get the ball."She went back into her defensive position, preparing to steal the ball as Emily passed it back to Allison.

It was unbelievable the amount of patience Allison's friends had with her. But one can safely say they both knew it was for everyone's good. Had no one been helping the girl, she'd be back at the healers or saying sorry to someone for sending them to the Hospital Wing. She wasn't made for sports, and at this point anyone could see that. Despite the fact that Allison was a brilliant girl academically she could seem slow and ignorant when it came to the physical aspect of things.

Allison jumped at the ball when Emily hit it. After hearing their motivational speech so could almost say she was confident. So confident that she launched herself towards the ball and snatched it our of Arya's reach! Sadly...she did so with her hands. Wooting in triump Allison jumped high. When she landed on the floor she was grinning so widely until she realized what she had done. "I wasn't suppose to grab it with my hands now was I?"

Well, you never knew. It could be challenging. But before he could say so Kellen had left him and run off to inquire about joining another group. Letting out a soft sigh he dribbled the ball over and stopped beside his friend, not sure what the verdict was.

Laughing she gently took the ball from Allison, placing it back on the ground. "No, you can use your head though. Here."She tossed the ball to Emily and took a few steps back from Allison. She had completly forgoten that she hadn't taught the girl how to head the ball. "Lets try again, and remember no hands."

Emily started laughing. "No Allie, you weren't. But that's okay, your learning. Here try again." She kicked it to Allie.

"Hello to you both," he nodded politely. "This is Sabel. He's a Gryffindor, but he's not that bad." He flashed a grin at Sabel in jest.

"Have either of you two ladies ever played football before?" He was thinking that if they had, it would make an easy split for teams. No one wanted the ones with experience against those without it. Also known as him.

A Gryffindor. Not that bad? Sabel threw a sidelong glance at his friend and gave him a smirk. As far as he had seen his house was rather tame compared to a select few that had managed to trickle out from Kellen's.

Turning his head back to the girls he gave them both a polite wave and smiled. Kellen seemed to have the fine handle on talking and so he let him be the moderator.
