Jacob was happy he found a group. He smiled as Georgiana caught the ball. "So what do we do? Just kick the ball to each other?"

"Hi Jacob, nice to meet you." Looking at the boy again he did look a little familiar. "Yeah, I think I might have seen you in the common room before."
"Hi Georgie, nice to see you again. Yes, I am Kay's friend." Were they still friends, she didn't know since they hadn't talked since the start of term feast.

Looking over at Evan who looked like he was about to burst with excitement she said "Well are you ready for this?" What she really meant though was do you think I am ready for this?

Chris looked over at Professor Lawson as he had them all stop so he could give them more directions for the next activity. He was excited that they were actually going to start playing something that was close to the actual game.

He shivered slightly as he felt the sheild charm go over top of him and then turned back to his group. He smiled brightly at Reese as she said she would be with him. "Fine with me!" he said playfully bumping his hip on hers, with a little flash of light Chris saw the sheild charms flash between them. "Shields work!" Flash grin. "Let's get started. Pass the ball Reese." he said stepping a few feet away from her.

Loud noise.VERY loud noise!

Sarah covered her ears as Professor Lawson used his whistle.She hadn't even been aware that he had one. "Well that sort of spoils the fun," she mumbled to Chris as she walked over towards him, listening to what the teacher had to say. "Why do people have to go and get themselves injured doing this?"

Spinning on the spot, Sarah looked straight at Torin and the girl with him, when she heard him speak.Nodding her head to agree with Chris, Sarah smiled at the newcomers...especially Torin's sister...Dani was it? "Of course you can join us! Hi Dani, nice to meet you.I'm Sarah, Torin's co-Prefect." Strange circumstances in which to be meeting someone - on a grass pitch in the middle of a classroom, but you couldn't be too picky.

Now their group was starting to get busy, what with the arrival of yet another face, in the shape of Reese, the Slytherin Prefect.Sarah gave a small wave and "Hello" in greeting, before they all started bunting the ball back and forth to each other again.And then Professor Lawson spoke....

Tackling? They'd get to try tackling? COOL! Although he obviously didn't have the full blown leg-cruncher in mind.But 30 minutes of shield charms was a brilliant idea, and one they could have fun with.Now all she needed was to partner up with one of the four in her group.Buuuuttttt Reese had chosen Chris, and Torin would most likely go with his sister....leaving her without someone to tackle with.Humph. "Uhhh, ok.How are we going to play this with five of us?" she asked tentatively, eyeing them all up, trying to think of something. "I guess we could swap occasssionally...?"

Miles looked around not really knowing who he should partner up with when he spotted a group full of Prefects. Grinning he walked over and wrapped his arm around Torin then looked at the other Huffie Prefect, "How about six? Makes it an even number. Mind if I join you guys?"

Even though Evan was especially distracted at the class, he had listened to Lawson. "I think we'll do tackling, dribbling and passing." A piece of cake.
Evan nodded excitedly. He was always ready for football! He bounced on his tiptoes, waiting for Jacob to start the game. C'mon! They were wasting time talking here.

Standing there with her arms folding, still not really enjoying this class, Destiny felt someone practically on top of her. Ewww! The cootie boy. He was still as gross as he was last time they talked/argued, whatever. 'Cooties aren't real.' That's what Evelyn said, and Destiny would believe what she said..for now. She still needed to find out his name.

Crud. Destiny was hoping Evelyn would have a way out of this. A way that did not involve moving your feet in any way possible. She supposed they would have to do something, she didn't want Lawson all in her face and doing that smirk again. 'We can do it with only three. Kylie can dribble and we can try to steal it.' Or Kylie can dribble and she would just watch.

Jacob nodded, and he started dribbling the ball back and forth. He passed it to his team mate Gerogie. "This dribbling isn't too bad. But ya'll will need to tell me if I'm doing something wrong, I've never played this before." Hes he was raised in a muggle world, but he was not athletic!


He called back to her, "yes they are, they're sooooo real!" He smirked as he watched his team mate. Calling back to Ms. Cooties. "Did you not take a bath last time? They're still all over you!" His face make a 'YUK!' expression.

Georgie caught the ball that Jacob passed to her and kept it bouncing behind her to keep the others from getting it, "Quick question, are we playing football or Basketball?"

Ugh, it was Mr. No-Name again. And he was still going on about cooties. If he got Destiny all worked up over them again, even though part of it was Evelyn's fault, he was soooo going to need to watch his back and head during the rest of the lesson. She almost hit the target last time, but this time, she would not miss.

"Of course cooties aren't real." Unless proven that they were, but even then Evelyn wouldn't believe such a thing. Cooties. Really? Couldn't they think of a better name for it? "Only losers and little kids believe that they are." she said, looking straight at Mr. No-Name with a smirk.

Eh, she still didn't want to play this. Maybe if Josh was still with them...Still. She'd probably trip Kylie if she tried to get the ball...or maybe she could trip someone else and pretend it was an accident. Hmm, might be fun. Or accidentally kick it to hard towards Lawsguini...he he. "Alright I guess." she shrugged, looking towards Kylie for confirmation. Not that they needed it. They would be playing this way anyway since it seemed like no one really wanted to be in their group. GOOD.

Annnndddd another one.

Smiling brightly, Sarah nodded as Miles made his approach and suggestion. "Sounds like a great idea, welcome to the group." Crouching down to pick up one of the spare balls, Sarah stood clutching it like a goalie, looking back and forth to everyone. "Shall we start?"

'Good, another person that doesn't know how to play very well either.' "Don't worry, I think we are all just learnig here." With the exception of Evan, but she wasn't going to tell the other team that.

'Cooties?' That's it, now Marie knew why Jacob looked so familiar. He was the crazy boy that got in an argument with Destiny in the common room. Poor kid, if he only knew what he started by making enemies with Destiny. Not a smart move for him, and here he is still messing with her. Oh well, it wasn't going to stop her from being his partner in class though, he didn't do anything to her.

"We're playing football. What's basketball?" Marie had never heard of that game before.

He smiled, he knew the answer to this one, "Football, you dribble it back and forth with your feet" He moved to keep the other team from getting the ball, in the middle of the block he fell down. "This is harder than it looks - especially when your feet get in the way."

He stood back and started helping his team mate again.

He laughed, yea they decided not to believe in them now that everyone was around. "Yea well, she sure believed in them the other day." He gave another laugh, directly pointed at the two stupid cootie girls. "Did ya'll have to go to the nurse and she tell you they weren't real?"

He didn't make a habit of being rude or mean, but these two deserved it.

Georgiana dropped the ball, touching it was illegal in the game, now she knew what they were playing. It was soccer, also called futball. She kicked it between her feet, moving it slightly forward, before lightly hitting it off towards Jacob. Georgie nodded, "It can be hard, it can be really really hard." This was one game she was NOT fond of!

She then smiled at Marie, "Oh, it's just another muggle game, if we don't play it in class I'll show you sometime. It's actually really fun!"

He saw her kicking it toward him, he was a bit off and wasn't sure he would be able to get to it in time. Looking to Marie he joined in, "Yea I've played basketball before. It's a ton of fun." As he spoke the ball rolled past him. "Uggg, I should really pay attention"

Georgiana chuckled, "Don't worry about it. How about before we get competitive we just pass it off between the four of us? That way we get in the hang of it?"

She ran to get the ball and dribbled it back, "Yeah, Basketball is fun, but American football is the best in my opinion."

"Well, we're suppose to keep them from getting it." He pointed with his thumb and Marie and Evan with a chuckle. He stood ready for his team mate this time.

"Oh I love American Football. It's the best!" This was a subject he could get into.

Destiny nodded. Now all they had to do was wait for Kylie to start dribbling, and they could start. 'It's only for thirty minutes, it shouldn't be that hard to pretend to play.' Because that is what Destiny is going to do, pretend.

Would Destiny ever get a break? Seriously. 'So you just admitted you gave me cooties right?' This boy was so lucky Lawson but shields on all of them, or he would have had a soccer ball straight to his face.

Georgie chuckled and shrugged, "Alright," she replied, lightly kicking it off to Jacob again. She was sure he'd catch it this time.

She laughed, "Definitely! I love watching it! And playing too!" she smiled at him and waited for him to kick it back, making sure to keep an eye out for Evan and Marie as well.

He looked at Ms. Cootie. He couldn't believe her, "Umm I never denied giving you cooties." He laughed at her again, this time rolling his eyes.

There was alot Jacob might be scared of, but her no way. She was just a stupid girl who knew nothing. "I'm totally serious though, I'm pretty sure there's some on you. You better becareful, with all them boy cooties on you you'll start turning into a boy"

Turning back to Georgie he said in a whisper, "She's a bit nutters."


Jacob darted to the right to make sure he got the ball, this time with success. He kicked it and aimed poorly, it was headed straight for Evan. Hopefully Georgie would get it. "I've never played, but I like watching it. For sure." He smiled, "So what house are you in?"

Evan got a little annoyed that the kiddo was talking to someone else. They were olaying a game in a class here, not hanging out outside. Though he held his mouth. He was no prefect, just a stern, warning look should be enough.

He gave them their credit of getting warm to the game with letting them pass. He'd expected the guy to know a few tricks, but apparently he didn't. And the girl was another comedy: she didn't even know what they were playing. Even Josh would be better, at least the game would be competitive then. He was about to began his run to tackle when Jacob aimed wrongly and the ball started to come to him. He grinned evilly. There was almost zero possibility for the girl to get it. He ran and caught the ball, professionally passing it to Marie as if showing them how a ball could be passed. Seriously. They never watched any TV in the summers?

Shooooootttt. Livvy always managed to space out during important matters. They were supposed to be partnering up! For what exactly... she wasn't too sure but it didn't matter. She need to find someone or some people to latch onto for the next assignment. She wanted points! Heck. Livvy would even go as far as to partner up with a Hufflepuff. And that was saying much. Though. She liked to think that she wasn't as prejudiced towards that house as she truly was.

"Hey guys! You don't mind if I... join... right?" Please say no. Please let her be a part of their group. Even if she couldn't... she could be... a... referee or something. Score-keeper? Time-keeper? A prop? A table? ANYTHING.

"I am if you are, Dakest. I only hope my skills won't look like a horrible failure in the presence of a 'soccer' master like yourself."

And yes, shields were a brilliant idea on Professor Lawson's part. So much so that he wanted to ask the professor how to cast them.

Eh, they were going to go to the nurse, but she snapped Destiny out it. She did get Destiny to stop believing in cooties...right? Glancing towards her friend for a split second, as if she was going to make sure...

Pretending was practically harder than playing the actual sport. Maybe they could have Kylie dribble the ball around slowly while she and Destiny just jog after her. It would look like they were trying to get the ball right?

And, apparently, Destiny still had a small part of her that believed in cooties. Why? Why why why...Shaking her head, she moved so she was standing next to her Slytherin friend, staring at her for a moment before turning back to Mr. No-Name.

Evelyn couldn't help but laugh. "Turn into a boy?" she repeated, raising a brow at him. "And please, do tell...how you would know this?" From...experience perhaps? Now that would be funny...and slightly disturbing.

"C'mon Destiny. I don't want Lawsguini to have a reason to give us detention." Because if she had to clean one more time, she was going to die. "And he is taking up our breathing space again."

Letting out a short laugh, Sabel shook his head and passed the ball to Kellen. "I hope your defintion of a 'soccer master' is, at least in this case, one who blunders over their own feet and those of others. Because you do know, even if it's soccer, I have still have two left feet. They just move a little quicker." Which, wasn't always a good thing.
