He smiled at his sister. "Sure, good idea." But then he saw that Chris and Sarah seemed to be on their own too.

He walked over to the Gryffindor Prefect now. "Mind if me and my sister join you two?" Obviously he wouldn't mind, but he had to be polite.

Chris was just about to kick the ball over to Sarah when he was approached by the other Hufflepuff Prefect. Again with the BADGER ATTACK!!

Torin asked him if he and his sister could join them. Chris looked at him and pretended he had to think about it. "Ummmmmm.....yeah of course." he laughed. "You know we would love to have you in our group." he said scooting over some to give the two newcomers room to join them. "Nice to meet you Torin's sister." he didn't know he had a sister to begin with. "I'm Chris Potter."

Dani held on to the ball and watched as Torin walked over to the Gryffindor Prefect. She walked over to the group. She smiled at the prefect when he greeted her. "Hi. I am Danika, but if you cant remember that, you can call me Dani." she said.

Brant couldn't help but laugh. He was having a great time kicking around the ball but now they needed to get into the defending and attacking mode. "hey Sabel, did you want to try to attack with this ball while i try to defend?, Don't go too easy on me because I've never played this before." he laughed again. Noticing that Miranda was doing the same thing, He wondered if she knew that he was here. Every once in a while he would look over in her direction to see if he could catch her eye.

Damon waited for the ball to be kicked to him ever trying make sure that his other classmates got a chance at practicing. It looked like he could help anyone that needed it.

He smiled at Chris and joined the group, letting his sister introduce herself. He didn't seem to get that they were twins. But whatever.

"Okay, let's play." Because he wanted to.

Kay watched as Rex and Ty kicked the ball around, and Then Damon. "You can kick it back to me if you'd like." Kay said waiting. She wasn't good at this so wanted to show the Boy she could learn the game.

Rex girlfriend must lead a shelter life. The way Ty's parent wanted his life to be. If they only knew but they were never around to find out.

Rex you know you had as much fun as me when we got into trouble. We never really got into to much trouble my grandparent are so easy laughing and slugging his old friend gently on the arm so a not to disrupt his balance.

"So I see. Thank you Celandine for taking care of him, you can go back to practicing I shall take it from here." Lawson gave the Ravvie Prefect a smile, "Oh and congratulations on the badge by the way."


Marcus looked at Jake and sighed deeply, "Why is it always you Jake? Off to the hospital wing with you then." He probably could have fixed it but with everything else going on he didn't want to chance it right now.

Raising an eyebrow at Dylan, Lawson allowed a small smirk, "Well maybe you should see the nurse about your ankle then Dylan and you can take Jake with you."

"She's unconscious from a ball hitting her in the stomach?" he asked disbelievingly. With another exasperated sigh, Marcus waved his hands at the two boys, "Then I suggest you take her up to the hospital wing."



"Well Joshua it had better be a good explanation because you have just lost your house five points. You better have a good reason because you are one step away from a detention." Lawson looked at the boy his nostril's flaring somewhat.

Marcus nodded at the young Hufflepuff, "Yes you may Emily but please be careful and that goes for the rest of you" he called, shaking his head.

"Dani you can partner with me." Lawson gave the wee little girl a wink because he would never injure her.

With another flick of his wand, Lawson conjured up a few targets at the back of the field. "For those of you who would like to practice kicking the ball with a little more force and accuracy, you may proceed to the back of the field and kick the balls at the targets. THE TARGETS ONLY!!!"

Dani nodded. That was acceptable. She picked up one of the balls and making sure he was paying attention, she tossed it at him. Professor Lawson was her favorite but Muggle Studies was not. "Why are you teaching this class anyway?" She liked him teaching DADA.

Chris returned the girl's smile and kicked the ball towards her. He had really met her before but he thought he had seen her around some. "Dani, that's cool. So Dani, what year are you in?" he said scratching his head for a second as he looked between Torin and Dani not helping to shake off the strange likelyness between them. They looked about the same age too.

Chris grinned. "Sure thing Torin. Dani's got the ball who is she going to kick it to?" he said in an announcer's voice.

Chris listened as Professor Lawson got the attention of the class again and suggested targeting practice in the back. "Hey guys do you all want to maybe go do that?" he asked the others in his group.

'I guess as long as we do it now, we won't be on it.' Lawson took their idea of a list. Their were better anyway. Destiny would have liked to sneak up and find this list of his, but he seemed angry, and she remembered how he kicked them out of the classroom when he became angry. That was a good detention though. 'I had one..' but where did she put that hair tie? She rolled up her sleeves and sure enough there was an extra one on her wrist. 'Here it is.' she smiled and handed it over to her.

What? Destiny saw what was going on, and she saw how happy Evelyn got when Josh came over to her. She still didn't find out what is going on between them two, but one day she will! Even if she has to spy on them..in the bushes..with binoculars. 'You do too know what I mean. You are mean.' she gave her the puppy dog face. She just wanted too knowwwww!!

Oooo, targets were up now. Destiny pulled Evelyn and Kylie over to them. See? She was going to participate again! 'Pretend them targets are Lawson's head.' That should work.

Glancing over, Sabel gave Brant a smile. "Glad to see you're feeling better. No more green fingers I hope." Dribbling the ball over and trying ever-so-hard not to trip on his feet he passed it off to Kellen. "Common Stern, this will be good practice for all of us."

He stopped beside Brant and noticed the eye flick towards one of the girls in the class. A small smile touched his lips. "That Miranda?" He remembered the wistful look Brant had gotten over his face in the common room when he had mentioned her name on the first day.

Pierre shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah. I'm kind of shocked too. I didn't think Benjamin had kicked it that hard." He nodded his head at Lawson. "All right professor."Pierre looked down at Ziva and proceeded in picking her up. Once he was sure that she was not going to fall out of his arms, he motioned for Benjamin to follow him out of the classroom in case he need help with Ziva.

"Yeah thats her, shes georgous eh" he looked down at the ground when he said this to Sable. After the professor had mention targets that lit up Brants eyes. "Yo, Sabel lets go kick some targets that sounds like fun. Maybe I can actually hit one." Laughing loudly while running his fingers through his hair and running towards the back of the feild.

Oh thank MERLIN Jake got out of the class. He wanted well away from this dangerous classroom... it seemed that even when Lawson wasn't teaching DADA people managed to get hurt.

Including him.

Managing a weak smile at the man (it totally WAS always him), Jake looked over at Dylan and smiled. He'd got his newest friend out too.

Grabbing his stuff (he was most certainly NOT coming back this lesson if he could help it), Jake headed straight for the door but looked back. He pointed at Joshua and looked at Lawson, hurt clear in his eyes. "Duhh-dat's wwhy I wwwanted to guhhh-go hhhhome," he said, trying to keep composed. "Pppppeople like huhh-him."

And he hoped the kid did get detention. He deserved it. And then some.

With another look at Lawson, the man who thought he'd be better off here, Jake shook his head (CAREFULLY!) and left, still dabbing at his nose with a handkerchief.

Dani moved to stop the ball. "I am in my sixth year." she said as she kicked the ball to Torin. Dani was not sure about kicking at the targets yet. "I don't know." she said shyly.

YES!!!! He had gotten out of the lesson in football. Thank you acting. He hid the smile behind a wince of pain. "I will, Sir. I'll make sure he is fixed right up." He nodded. "Um by the way. Joshua kicked the ball straight at Jake's face. It was really hard as well. Called him slime." He took hold of Jake's arm. "Come on buddy lets get you fixed up."

"Thanks Ty." Kay said looking at Rex. Listening, did the Professor just say to kick it hard? Kay could hardly kick it softly.

"Targets, Professor?" Kay said looking at the back of the room. "Can I just practice like this, I'm not sure about Tatgets." Kay said softly. She was lucky to stay on her feet just doing this.

Kellen went to start this 'attack, defense' thing Sabel was talking about when Lawson mentioned hitting targets for practice. He picked up his ball, not really wanting to try 'dribbling' at this point in time, and jogged after Sabel and the other boy. Kicking a ball at targets sounded a lot safer than kicking a ball at each other. Especially considering all the casualties already...

Woah! He was really angry and what! WHAT! He was not expecting that he would let him explain so he was bluffing and now he had to find an explanation. Right now! Otherwise Lawson looked like he would kick him out this world. '5 Points! What the...Dang it!' But was he going to say 'Ay Professor he hit my head with his bag last year in the Aritmancy class and i wanted to have my revenge'. This would definitely sound stupid. Aha! 'Put the innocent expression' He could tell the excuse that he told the older Ravenclaw previously. ''Umm. Sir. I know he is good at Quidditch, i played against him last year and they won. So i thought he might be good at football too and i wanted to see if he was a good header. Well...obviously he is not a good header. How could i know that?''*blinkblink*

Considering the girl for a moment, Sabel glanced at the two boys heading over to the pratice targets. Sighing he jogged over to keep up with them and decided that introductions were probably best in order with all the hand flourishing and gestures of course. "Err...Kellen this is Brant, Brant Kellen. Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Gryffindor Ravenclaw."

His eyes went over to Brant with curiosity. "So, if she's gorgeous, why are you playing ball with us?"

Cela nodded at Professor Lawson, cast a look at Jake's retreating back then bounded back over to dribble on the ball with Brody and Barry.

"Thanks." she said, taking the hair tie from Destiny and putting her hair up. Aw, so much better. Hmm, so Destiny caught on to her and Josh, but apparently not enough to know what was actually going on. Was she there when he practically shouted out that she was his girlfriend down by the whomping willow? Or did she come later?...'Can't, remember! Dang!' Well she definitely wasn't going to be bringing it up now. She'll just let Destiny be frustrated that she didn't know what was going on...he he

Targets? Raising a brow at them, she smirked when Destiny mentioned to think of them as Lawsguini's head. Now there was an idea. Looking around, she noticed that she didn't have the soccer ball with her anymore so quickly when the Professor wasn't looking, she stole borrowed someone else when they weren't looking as well. Good, now she had a soccer ball. And it was going straight towards that Lawsguini target. Taking a step back, she moved forward and kicked the ball hard, watching it just barely miss the target. Awww...."Ugh. You try."
