Upon entering the Muggle Studies classroom you will find that there are no desks and chairs instead there is a huge field of grass for you to sit down on.
Professor Lawson is standing by the door waiting to usher in the students for their first lesson of the term. "Please come in and find yourselves a piece of grass and park your behinds on it." He sincerely hoped that they taken note of the special requirements and worn something comfortable.
ooc: My apologies for the delay, I had a few technical issues this morning.
Errrr, what were people doing? Oh noes, she had dozed off for a moment there... Crap! And then Oliver stood up and she looked at him...VERY confsed. "I'm not 'Rodent Girl', Twitchy Curls..." she retorted with narrowed eyes. And oh crap again, everyone was already partnering up and had their little groups and- Gah! She HATED having to partner up HATEEEEEED!
Not because it wasn't fun, but because she was usually left alone... Stupid.
"Okay...Allright...Um, you know how to play?" She asked and stood up, because Miranda did not do much muggle sports... At all. Like. Not. Ever. Kind of. He better not kick the ball onto my face. Oliver looked pretty strong for a skinny boy...
Twitchy curls? Oliver looked down at Miranda and smirked at her retort. “Nice'” He replied sarcastically. She looked so confused by what was going on. Had Miranda not been paying attention to the professor? Tut tut. Hah.
He waited while she got to her feet and nodded at her question. “Yeah. But we're not playing the game. Jus' supposed to be dribbling the ball and passing to each other. Like the professor showed us.” He nodded to the man. But.. some people were probably asleep so.. bleh – he didn't really have show her, did he?
“Go and stand over there.” He told her and gestured a few metres away. “I'll kick it to you and you have to kick it back. Simple?” Yep. She sure was. hehe.
"I bet you haveee, miss Prefect." Lori teased a little bit, and shrugged a little bit.
"You wouldnt poke me, I'm your best frienddddd." Okay, maybe Gold would have.
OH GOD. BALL. INCOMING.
"Something different? Kiiiiirrriiiiiiii." Lorelai squealed a bit as she watched the ball go up. And up. And then come back down. In HER direction. Atleast it was on target.
Sort of. Because Kiri couldn't have been aiming for her face, obviously. Well she better not have been.
THWACK.
The leather ball came into contact with the top of Lorelai's head and bounced off in the direction of another group. "OW!" She squealed a bit more, and gripped at her head, massaging the pain point through her hair. Deciding she didnt want to do it anymore, she flopped into a seated position on the floor and looked up expectantly at her best friend.

Then she walked back to Lori, and sat down on the floor with her. She didn't really care if her clothes got dirty, right now. Lori Louu was HURT... and she couldn't talk to Lori Louu while standing.
That would look kinda odd.
"Are you alright?" she asked, biting on her lower lip, a little bit. "I guess this means play gets to stop, for a while?" She looked at Kiri a bit apologetically, as she spoke. Because she knew she was supposed to pass the ball on to Kiri. But, well, her bestie was hurt.
That was not acceptable.

A part of Kiri wondered why Lorelai just stood there and watched the ball approach. She'd nearly fallen over trying to get away from it when it was just bumping along at ground height, and now she was rooted in place.
That was background thinking, though. (Just as she noticed - much too late - that Gold had a Prefect's badge attached to her robes.)
Kiri hurried over to where Lorelai had sunk onto the grass. Her friend had already reached and sat down next to her, chattering away in that sort of undecided, don't-know-what-to-do kind of worried tone.
"I'm really sorry," Kiri said apologetically, kneeling down next to the other two, the ball on the ground nearby forgotten. "I, er... I think I got carried away a bit. I saw some of the other people doing that and wanted to give it a try myself." She studied Lorelai's face closely. The ball hadn't been flying too fast, but it was still pretty big and heavy - what if she had given the girl a bruise? Or a black eye?
"Are you okay? Does it hurt? I, erm, I can go and get Professor Lawson?" Who'll take points off me, cheers.
Another student joined Kiri's little group of kneeling people. She glanced up. A girl was standing there, a ball tucked away expertly under one arm. Kiri vaguely recalled seeing the girl's face at the feast, but they'd never met before. She did seem to know Lorelai, however. Great, Kiri thought to herself. Their first meeting was going to happen over the hunched-up form of an injured friend. "Erm..." Kiri ventured, still feeling ashamed, as Gold and Lorelai were a bit... busy with themselves. "Hi. We've, er, had a little accident here. I think we need a little break before we can continue playing, to be honest.

Emily looked around the room. Arya and Allison alreadt had a group, so she had to find her own. "Hey, anybody need another person in her group?" She hated being the last one to get a group.

Pierre watched as Ziva bounced the ball on her knee. He was going to ask her how long she had played for when she asked if they had gotten hurt yet. "Not yet, but it's bound to happen sooner or later. I'm slightly accident prone."
Right after he said this, Ziva kicked the ball to him hard. It walked him in the shins and he felt a sharp pain. "Like I said. It was bound to happen eventually."
He waited for the pain to stop and then turned to Benjamin. "She's probably had loads of practice. Don't worry. Soccer is a sport you need to practice to get better." He went to kick the ball. This time he kicked it pretty hard and it soared over Benjamin's head. It almost hit someone in the back. "Sorry!" he shouted to Benjamin and the person he almost hit.
"I'm so sorry." Ziva said with a little chuckle. Ziva didn't want to say that she hadn't had that much practice before, she just kicked the ball around the house most of time. She had never really practiced like this before.
"I'll get it!" Ziva called as she ran across the grass to get the stray ball. She dribbled it back to where Pierre and Benjamin were still standing, not tripping or fumbling once over the ball or her shoelaces.

Annie looked at Lori. "Lorrii...are you okay...please say something...so I know you're sane." Seriously, that girl needed to speak. Now she was worried. Sigh.
She nodded her head towards the Slytherin girl and towards the Gryffindor Prefect. "Yeah, we sure can stop for a while," Although they hadn't played, but Lori needed to react and say if she was okay, sane..."...we need to call the Professor, don't we?" She was unsure of what to do in those situations, unless it was the same as if she was in a training session; that if someone got hurt, they'd call the coach.

Lorelai looked up from her spot and sighed a little bit, it wasn't Annie's presence that made her frown, just the fact Annie wanted to play. "We cant. I'm hurt." If she hadn't have noticed.
Truthfully, Lori wanted to cry, because it hurt. But she wasn't going to. Annie, Kiri and Goldie were here. No crying.
Kiri was nice, atleast she was apologising. "It's okay. Just a little bump..." She sighed a little bit, and rubbed at the pain spot again, her head still resting on Gold's shoulder.
"I'm fine Annie. I promise. Just tell me... Is there ANY blood? If yes, get me out of here, before I chuck." And that wouldn't be pretty. Neither was blood.
"We dont need the professor. It's just a little bump. I'll get it checked out later, with the healer. I promise."

Yaaaaay, maybe they had a chance after all. "That's cool! My brother doesn't really like sports...and to be honest, I prefer quidditch. Some muggle sports are alright though...I guess." Even if they'd be better in the air... and with balls that flew around on their own account.

Becca grinned, Melanie had a good point, "I guess that's true, but wouldn't you rather have lodt snf done your best?"
She nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I kind of find quidditch more fun, too. Though I have to say, I am definetly a baseball and hockey fan." She was just getting into hockey, but baseball, she loved!

Evelyn was not expecting the ball to come towards her, even though it was going really slow. Moving a few feet backwards anyway, trying her hardest to keep the squeak down, she watched the ball stop about three feet in front of her on the grass. 'Stupid ball. Yea you better stop!'
When it was fun? Soccer was fun? "When does it get fun?" she muttered like a robot, still glaring at the checkered ball.

Now Destiny had a point there. Looking up to Kylie expectantly, hoping she'd agree to just hog the ball for the remainder of the class period, her attention was diverted when noticing everyone else in the room. A lot...of people. Too many. Someone could kick the ball at her and she wouldn't even know! Wait, that would be like quidditch right? Just like watching out for bludgers. Well that made it slightly more bearable. He waited for the pain to stop and then turned to Benjamin. "She's probably had loads of practice. Don't worry. Soccer is a sport you need to practice to get better." He went to kick the ball. This time he kicked it pretty hard and it soared over Benjamin's head. It almost hit someone in the back. "Sorry!" he shouted to Benjamin and the person he almost hit.
This time, Benjamin DID laugh. Wizards playing soccer. How hilarious. Chuckle chuckle.

Ziva let out a content sigh, at least she wasn't the youngest out of their group. "I'm a fifth year." Ziva said to Benjamin, "OWLs year, I'd love to be back a couple of years just so I wouldn't have to take them." Ziva laughed.
