Upon entering the Muggle Studies classroom you will find that there are no desks and chairs instead there is a huge field of grass for you to sit down on.
Professor Lawson is standing by the door waiting to usher in the students for their first lesson of the term. "Please come in and find yourselves a piece of grass and park your behinds on it." He sincerely hoped that they taken note of the special requirements and worn something comfortable.
ooc: My apologies for the delay, I had a few technical issues this morning.
Pierre stood up and watched as everyone else found a group. He let out a sigh. He loved playing soccer, even though he wasn't very good at it. He didn't want to walk up to a group and be all awkward by asking to join. He let out another sigh and looked around the room again.
Ziva dribbled a soccer ball, she stopped for a moment and looked around at everyone. Some where having problems and others were quite good at it. She continued on dribbling the ball, humming songs at random.
Suddenly, she was face first in the grass, ball underneath of her. She rolled over onto her back. Sand, dirt and now grass. When am I gonna fall/trip into water next?
She sat up and looked at her feet, her left shoelaces had came undone. They were the cause of the face plant.

Avery walked over to her friend Cadence. She hasn't talked to her since they were on the train. "Cadence? Could I work with you?" Avery did't know many people here.
She frowned a little when Avery asked if she could join. "Aww... I'm really sorry Avery, but we already have four people in our group." She said, indicating Nate, Arya, and the girl Arya had bough with her.

Smiling widely at her best friend, Lori nodded down at her shoes. Gold was wearing HEELS? And there was Lori in stupid converse. "I havent seen you since... AGEEES." She giggled.
Man, they had to catch up. About Adam.
Lorelai grinned a little bit as her kick landed NEAR ENOUGH with Kiri. She was getting GOOOOD at this. Good, better, good. It was nice being good at stuff. And football was probably the only thing she wasnt good at. Sigh, now to conquor that. And stick her tongue out at the stupid sport. And to get Annie playing it in heels.
Right, so Gold and Kiri were now accquainted. Which was fun. Clapping her hands a little Lori turned to look at her best friend, because in her opinion..
This was NOT fun.
After turning to her best friend, she only had to wait a few seconds for Gold to answer Kiri, and she frowned a bit at her reply. "Hows about, you two pass. I sit down and re-do my nails? EH?" She grinned at the pair of them, and then spread her fingers at an attempt to show them both the chipped pink nail varnish.
"Fiiiiine." Just standing there, she knew what Gold was going to say to her option and she gave in. "If I hurt you Gold, I cannot be held responsible."
Lorelai nodded once, and physically (and mentally) prepared herself for this 'save'. MEHHH. With her foot out, the inside of it ready, as Kiri's had done, she waited. Her eyes however were about half open and she was squealing inside.
This ball was going to HURT.
-
Or not. Grinning as it came to a stop at her foot. She chuckled and nodded. Before passing it in Gold's direction.

Football, for now.
"How about I poke you in the arm?" Gold replied, with a grin. She wasn't really worried about the football, right now. It was with Kiri and -- and then the Slytherin had kicked it towards Lori.
Which meant it was Gold's turn, now.
She straightened up a bit more, trained her eyes on the ball. Then Lori nudged it in her direction, and Gold grinned. She really had expected a ... more vicious shot. "Score," she chuckled, as she managed to stop the ball, and shoot it on with a bright kick. It was sort of funny, you know, how she was playing football in HEELS.
Yeah, she had run in those, but football? Nope, she had never played it in heels, before. Kinda nice!
Kiri was so distracted by the fact that (Merlin's smelly galoshes, were those...) Gold appeared to be strutting around in heeled shoes that the ball bounced off her foot and hit her in the stomach before coming to a rest right in the middle of the triangle. "Great," Kiri muttered, blushing slightly. That must have looked so stupid, and now she was forced to wander right into the empty playing field to retrieve the ball.
She nudged it with her foot, annoyed, then dribbled back to where she'd been standing. Slooowly. Tripping over the ball and falling on her face would just about complete the embarrassment.
Scratching her ear, she took aim again. "Careful," she called out, "I'll try something different this time." She dug her right foot into the grass and slipped it below the ball. Again, her flat shoes came in very handy at this point. Then she flung her leg upwards - the ball soared in Lorelai's direction in a high arc. Too late Kiri remembered that she probably shouldn't have gone for Lorelai with this one...
She frowned a little when Avery asked if she could join. "Aww... I'm really sorry Avery, but we already have four people in our group." She said, indicating Nate, Arya, and the girl Arya had bough with her.
Laughing she replied, "Oh! My name is spelled C-a-d-e-n-c-e." She said, smiling at him again.
"Ohh. Cool!" he said bouncing the ball off the tops of his feet.
Oliver got to his feet and eyed the Hufflepuff sitting on the grass next to him... or sitting next to her BAG on the grass next to him.
Strange girl.
It was a well known fact among muggle males that girls couldn't play football. He looked around at everyone already partnering up and kicked himself for not yet getting to know many people. He chewed the inside of his cheek while he thought. Miranda was a Quidditch captain, right? Maybe she wouldn't be all that bad. Maybe.
“Hey, Rodent Girl. Wanna partner up?” He gave her a smile predicting the face she would pull because he had asked. Heh.
Errrr, what were people doing? Oh noes, she had dozed off for a moment there... Crap! And then Oliver stood up and she looked at him...VERY confsed. "I'm not 'Rodent Girl', Twitchy Curls..." she retorted with narrowed eyes. And oh crap again, everyone was already partnering up and had their little groups and- Gah! She HATED having to partner up HATEEEEEED!
Not because it wasn't fun, but because she was usually left alone... Stupid.
"Okay...Allright...Um, you know how to play?" She asked and stood up, because Miranda did not do much muggle sports... At all. Like. Not. Ever. Kind of. He better not kick the ball onto my face. Oliver looked pretty strong for a skinny boy...
"Ohh. Cool!" he said bouncing the ball off the tops of his feet.
"mhmm. I like it!" Cadence said, watching him juggle the ball a bit. "So is Nate your real name, or is it short for something else?" she said. This boy was verrrrry interesting.

"I bet you haveee, miss Prefect." Lori teased a little bit, and shrugged a little bit.

Sort of. Because Kiri couldn't have been aiming for her face, obviously. Well she better not have been.
THWACK.
The leather ball came into contact with the top of Lorelai's head and bounced off in the direction of another group. "OW!" She squealed a bit more, and gripped at her head, massaging the pain point through her hair. Deciding she didnt want to do it anymore, she flopped into a seated position on the floor and looked up expectantly at her best friend.

Arya passed the ball quielty with her group member. They were having a conversation about names and Arya had no idea why. So instead she decided to chew her gum and listen for a more interesting than names.

It was quite unlike Benjamin to wait until the last minute, but it seemed there was at least one other boy who still didn't have a partner. He was a lot older, but who cares really? He stood up and walked over, "Heya, I'm Benjamin Farley. I see you don't have a partner. Want one?"

The only issue was Muggle sports didn't love her back. More than often she ended up falling. And Melanie hated letting other people down. She simply wasn't that good on her feet. Sadly enough, soccer was all about feet. You ran on your feet, dribbled with your feet, and passed with your feet.
Biting her lip nervously, Melanie looked around for a partner. She wasn't going to be the kid to sit and pout in the corner. Besides, she thought, perhaps I might have an upperhand, because she was muggleborn and understand the game? Telling herself this, the fourth year picked a ball up off the ground, tossing it up and down in her hands thoughtfully, and she tried to spot a friend in the crowd of students and soccer balls... Or a team that could use another person.

He grabbed a ball and before he kicked it to Benjamin, he had something to tell him. "Just warning you, I love to play soccer, but I'm not that great at it."

Cadence giggled a little. "Oh, you poor thing! No wonder you go by Nate! But, hey, at least it's original, right?" As the ball came to her, she juggled it onto the tops of her feet, then to her knees, then dropped it back down on the ground. She dribbled it between her feet and passed it to Arya. "So, Arya, what year are you?"

OUCH.
"Lori Louu!" Gold said, eyes widening a bit. "Are you alright?" She glanced at the ball, which had bounced off not too far, then made a quick dash for it, and picked it up.
Then she walked back to Lori, and sat down on the floor with her. She didn't really care if her clothes got dirty, right now. Lori Louu was HURT... and she couldn't talk to Lori Louu while standing.
That would look kinda odd.
"Are you alright?" she asked, biting on her lower lip, a little bit. "I guess this means play gets to stop, for a while?" She looked at Kiri a bit apologetically, as she spoke. Because she knew she was supposed to pass the ball on to Kiri. But, well, her bestie was hurt.

Becca didn't yet a partners and looked around to see another girl who looked to be in the same state as she, so she walked over, smiled, and said, "Hi, I'm Becca Latrowski. Do you need a partner?"
Ziva gave a great sigh and reached to tie her shoe. She doubled knotted and then untied her other shoe. And double knotted it too. She stood back up and put a smile on her face. It would have been different if she had tripped over the ball, not her shoe laces.

Kicking the ball lightly. How did Kylie know this? 'Have you played this before?' she asked as she lightly kicked the ball back to Kylie. It was no fun when you kicked things lightly.

At the corner of his eye he spotted a girl on her own. He did a double take and wondered if she needed a partner, or if she wanted to be on her own. He paused then mentioned to Pierre, "Do you think she needs a partner?" Then, he shouted over to her, "HEY! DO YOU NEED A PARTNER?"
