Cadence just shrugged, still looking at the floor. "I don't know. Probably not. His parents just had a baby. An adorable little girl. They're making Nate leave school to take care of her while they're at work because they can't afford full time child care." Then she got a little angry. Not at Nate, but at his parents. They were so stupid and mean! Cadence was really over mean people. "They loved me when they met me. It's pretty sad that they hate their son sooooo much that they won't even let a girl they like visit him. I just don't get it!" Her fist clench as though she was holding her wand, ready to attack, but then Cadence realized she wasn't holding her wand. Reaching in her pocket, she noticed that her wand wasn't there either. "Great. Now I've lost my wand, too!" she mumbled. She put her elbows on her knees and buried her face in her hands, once again fighting back her tears.

"Wait what? Childcare?! Why doesn't his mother just stay home to take care of her own baby?! Like really!" Oh no, Tyler was mad now. Nate's mother should stay home to take her of her own kid. If Ty ever had a child, he sure wouldn't leave them with childcare. Either parent would take time off work to watch over the baby. "You seriously need to relax and take a breather. Crying over someone who broke your heart doesn't really seem like it's worth your time. Even if he still loves you, there's plenty of fish in the sea and you need to stop crying before you form a river here,"

"I'm not crying!" Cadence said, her voice muffled but still obviously indignant. "Not anymore at least," she said quietly as she sat back up. She flipped her once again long hair over her shoulder; her hair that she had grown back out just for Nate, just because he liked it better long. She played with the ends of it and said absentmindedly, "I'm going to cut my hair off again." Then she thought about it for a second. "Yes... cut it off and dye it!" her eyes glinted malevolently. Nate would be so upset if she did that! But then she slouched again. She couldn't dye her hair. She would look horrible as a blonde, and there was no way she was going to dye her hair red. Disappointed slightly, she settled simply on chopping it off again.

"TYLER WAYYYY!!" Lucy screamed as she made her way up the moving staircase. But then she stopped in mid climb because he was once again trying to console the evil brown-headed girl. Lucy ran up to Ty and put her hands on her hips, licking her lips at the same time.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" She said with an grin. "Looks like someone turned on the waterworks," She continued, smirking at the girl.
"Tyler. I need to talk to you. Can we...go somewhere?" She said in an urgent tone, turning her back on the brunette behind her.

"You're seriously going to cut and dye your hair because of what happened?" he asked, withh an annoyed voice. Did she really have to take drastic measures over this? "Your hair is short enough. If you cut it off again, it'll be alot shorter," As Ty was talking with Cadence, someone screamed out his name. For a second he thought it was his mom, but he knew she would yell out his middle name as well. He looked up to see Lucy, with an angry look on her face. Great. He rolled his eyes and place his head into his hand as Luce began to smirk and looked at Cadence. "Talk to me about what?" he asked, with a confused. "Can't this wait for now?"

Cadence gave Tyler another confused looked and pulled her hair out from behind her shoulders to show him. "Tyler, my hair's not short anymore. It's grown back out. I grew it back out for Nate because he didn't like it short," she said matter-of-factly. She knew Tyler would get mad that she had grown it back out for Nate, but honestly, what did it matter at this point? She and Tyler hadn't spoken in months, so if he wanted to get mad about that after she had just had her heart broken, then whatever.

And as if this day couldn't get any worse, here was Lucy to make fun of her, just like she always did. Cadence didn't say a word. She just looked away waiting to see if Tyler was going to leave or not. Cadence was too emotionally exhausted to care if Lucy was mad at her or hated her. She didn't feel like dealing with whatever irrational problem Lucy had with her.

Lucy ignored what he was saying to the other girl and just gave him a Look. "Stuff, Ty, STUFF," She said, and then held out her hand for him take. "And no, it can't wait," She added in a hiss.

"Altering your look for a guy, niiiice," Tt said sarcastically and shook his head. He was never going to understand why girls altered themselves for guys. If they guy didn't like them the way they were, then the guy wasn't worth it.
Tyler arched an eyebrow as Luce told him they needed to talk about stuff. If he didn't go now, Ty might not hear the end of it. "I'll see you around Cadence," he said and stood up, without taking Lucy's hand. He started heading towards the Great Hall, but looked back to see Luce still standing there. "Are you coming or not?"

Lucy noticed that he didn't take her hand and frowned slightly, but made to follow him anyway. "Coming," She said, without giving a backward glance at what they were leaving behind.

Cadence didn't say a word in response. She had done it for Nate. Not because he liked her less with short hair, but just because he liked her long hair, and she wanted to do it for him. Tyler would never understand that. And of course he was going to leave. Why would things be any different now? She rolled her eyes as the two walked away and muttered under her breath, "Wouldn't count on it." The staircase had moved back to where she needed to go, but Lucy and Tyler had gone that way. Instead, she turned around and went back up the stairs, not ready to face the Common Room yet.

Katy made her way to the staircase while adjusting her helmet. She took a good look at the staircase and gulped. It was a long way down and plus she was going down on a skateboard. She shook out the fear and leaned against the railing waiting for Tyler.

"Katlyn Way. What in the name of Merlin are you doing?" Lucy asked her best friend, crossing her arms over her chest and raising her eyebrows. Whatever it was, it looked DANGEROUS. And Lucy didn't like dangerous stuff.

Tyler, with his skateboard in one hand, walked towards the moving staircase when he got Katy's message. All it said was it was time to do something dangerous. Knowing himself, Tyler couldn't turn down something dangerous. "Hey Kat--" he called out and stopped mid-sentence when he noticed Luce was there. Uh oh.

"Uhh, well I'm ready when you are," he smirked at Kat and kissed Luce's head. "Heyyy, Luce,"

Katy jumped at the sound of a voice. She nearly gell over the railing. Gripping it for dear life to turned to this person and saw ..... Lucy!!! Noooooooo!! "Jeez woman!! Warn a child!" She said and then giggled nervously. She gulped and tried to not look Lucy in the eye. She was probably giving poor Katy a disappointed look. "Oh this i'm just.... chilling" She grinned at her. Kat was in big trouble.

Kat saw Ty walking towards them and tried to give him a run away look. Lucy would probably ... hopefully be more upset at him than her. Hehehehehe....

"Uhhhh.... I have no idea what you're talking about mister Tyler Way" She grinned nervously hoping Lucy would buy it. Knowing Lucy she'd probably wouldn't buy it.

Shaking her head, Lucy stepped forward and eyed the skateboard in her hands. And then Ty came. Of course.

"You too?! What's wrong with you?! I can't believe you're going to ENCOURAGE he to do this!" She said, pointing an accusing finger at him. How could he be so stupid?

"I'm not stupid, Kat. Hand over the skateboards NOW. Both of you," She said in a stern voice and then held out her hands. They were sooo not doing whatever they had planned.

Kat stoop up and faced Lucy. With a sad face she started to hand over her skateboard. But Kat wasn't the type to give up that easily. She retracted her arm and yelled "Tyler!! Run!!!" And off she went towards the third floor corridor.

"Me?! This was her idea. Don't go pointing fingers at me just because I'm the uncle," he said and moved Luce's finger away. Now she wanted their skateboards. Sigh. Why he do something 'dangerous' for once. It was like was now his own mom.

Shiver.

Tyler walked towards Luce, about to give the skateboard up. But when Kat told him to run, Ty just had to. He broke into a run and followed Kat up those dreadful stairs.

Lucy reached for the skatebooard, but Kat took her hand away at the last second. She tried to make a grab for it, but no go. Frusterated, she turned to Tyler.
"So what if it was her idea?! You're supposed to tell her not to do it since you're older! And your'e responsible for her!" She retorted and tried to grab his skateboard too, but now both of them were running up the stairs.
Groaning, she ran after them, catching up within minutes because of her excellent running skills.
"You really wanna run away from me? Like seriously?" She yelled after them.

Kat kept running and she finally saw the corridor coming up. "Yessss Because you can't catch both of us!!" She pushed herself and continued running at full speed. Maybe running around trying to hide from her dad was finally going to pay off.

"Don't yell at me! I get enough of that from my mom and I don't need it from you!" Tyler said and kept climbing the stairs. Why did Luce have to be such a good runner? Ty was already getting tired and stopped for a breather, because yeah, no. Stairs were not his thing. "Kat! Save yourself!" he huffed and sat on the stairs.
