"We'll all be in the same year! That's awesome!"

Jenny looked at the girl who mentioned "same year" she wasn't listening anyway. "You're a first year?" She asked.

Neptune didn't remove her foot upon DEMAND, but after a moment's thought, did put it back on the floor. She typically didn't take well to being told what to do, but then Daphne starting coughing.... "With me," Neptune agreed. He'd just stay with her. She GIGGLED loudly and snuggled his shirt. "I'm ready to be THERE already, Raiden. Should we go speak to the train driver person?" Typically that's what Bulters were for, but as stated earlier, crazy Hogwarts didn't ALLOW butlers! CRAZY!!!

...haaa. If only she knew. It kinda... was. But at least it wasn't bad like it had been before. Raiden kept silent, only giving Neptune a little nod. Her patting his chest didn't bother him so much, which was good. If he kept letting Neptune make him all stressed and mentally flaily, he was going to have a heart attack or something.

"Of course. With you." Raiden was learning. Just... don't fight it if it's unnecessary to fight, right? That way, her pouting would be minimised, and he'd only have to feel bad when he really, actually had to do something that she didn't like.

That was, if she decided to stay attached to him and didn't go off after Garret again. There was always that. However... It was possible that Garret wouldn't take it as easily as Raiden did. He might make her POUT and stuff and then she'd... come after Raiden again.

Oh yes. This term was looking brilliant.

"I'm sure we'll be there soon, Neptune. It's just a little longer." Nod. "And then it'll be the feast and stuff, which is always fun."

Except when... people were mean and threatened to throw your friends down tables and made Barry cry. Oh yes, Raiden remembered those things. Heh. At least now he and his friends were old enough to defend themselves if the need arose, not that they'd need to with the Professors there.

"Bwhahaha!" Allison gave a small evil laugh, "My powers over your sleepiness or...wakefulness...or whatever, are strong!" Giving a cackling laugh Allison grinned, "I'd make such a great bad guy for a movie."

"And Arya blames me!" Giving Anastasia a poke Allison frowned weakly, "We just ran into a bunch of new people, and let them join our mini-party. But we over-did it. Then you fell asleep, made me sleepy and now I'm making Arya sleepy. But I'm pretty sure we are near Hogwarts."

Stretching out Allison hugged her knees and made herself comfortable, "Such a long trip."

Allison looked outside the compartment and warmed up to the idea that Hogwarts was near. Oh she had run out of fuels to run around and jump all over the place, but the excitement remained. Giving one last bubbly smile Allison nodded off.

And then she dreamed of many things. The good the bad and the unnecessary. Of talking hats and dragons, of Merlin and King Arthur, of her aunts and cousin Bianca...and of disaster.

However in the exterior Allison just looked like a very tired child who had managed to doze off she was experiencing events she had never walked in her life. She was no prophet. No one in her family had the sight, but at that moment everyone would doubt.

Allison was then soothed as her mother's butterfly landed on her hand, and her beginning nightmare stopped--and she dreamed of nothing.

Mina shrugged and looked around as well. "I'm sure they are around somewhere." she said. "I sat in my compartment up front for a while before coming down here to look for everyone." She had wanted to talk to her friends before getting to the feast. "Things are good. Nothing too different. Got lots of practice on my broom but nothing major, you know." she explained with a smile.
Seeing something from the corner of her eye, she turned. "Ella!" she yelled as she saw her friend enter a compartment.

Cadence could tell Lanie wasn't telling her something, but she didn't push it... especially with people she didn't really know in the compartment.

She heard Natasha ask about her cat. "Oh! No I don't mind! I love animals!" Cadence said, smiling. Okay, so this Natasha girl seemed pretty nice. Maybe she was making a new friend here. "So, did you say you're in Slytherin? I don't think I've really ever talked to anyone from Slytherin. I'm not sure if that's because you guys keep to yourself or because of the bad reputation Slytherin has that causes people to ostracize you guys. Either way, I don't have anything against Slytherins! Is it true your Common Room is under the lake?"

"Oh good." She grinned, getting the cage and opening it for Candela. The cat came quickly out of the cage and onto Natasha's lap. She patted her absently, looking back at Cadence. "Yeah, I am. I do keep to myself a bit, I guess." She shrugged."That's good, 'cause I don't have anything against Hufflepuff. Yeah, it is under the lake. It's all green, it's pretty cool." Nat really liked her common room.

"Oh cool," Gwen said, intrigued. "I read about kneazles. I wish my cat was part kneazle. I didn't bring a pet this year. I figured it would be easier to just wait it out until next year to bring one."



"Personally, I hoping for Gryffindor. I'm muggleborn, so I didn't know much about the houses until I went to Diagon Alley. Anyways, I read up on the houses, and I feel that it fits me most. I wouldn't mind Ravenclaw either. Actually, I wouldn't mind anything except Slytherin. They seem to be an ungrateful lot..." Gwen replied, hoping that no one in the cart would take offense to what she just said.

Gwen looked at Allison as she spoke.

"I wish I could review my family to see what kind of chance I have to getting into each house. Lucky I'm muggleborn, really, I have no chance of getting into pure blood Slytherin."

Gwen shifted her eyes to the cat that was part kneazle, wondering if her cat could possibly be a mix of the two.

Jenny looked at her cage for her cat. "Hello Jade." She said to her animal. A green eyed lovely blue-point white cat emerged. Jenny said simply, "You can come out." And she let it out. "Hmm." She didn't speak for 3 minutes.

The train stopped and Allison woke up wearily. Looking around she saw all of her friends standing and getting their trunks. That REALLY woke up Allison. Getting up really fast she almost toppled over her own bunny pack. She was dreadfully dizzy. Putting everything away and combing her hands through her tangled brown hair Allison stretched and all but ran off the train.

The Sorting was next the sorting was next! Hearing for all first years Allison looked back to see if her friends were following, and then she got lost in the crowd. All she could really see was her mother's butterfly guiding her amongst the chaos.

Following the shouts for first years Allison made the boats...

"That's cool, I think I'm gonna bring a owl with me next year as...as well as Perseus."She added the last bit when Persus looked up at her as if he understood and thought he would be left behind on the ranch. "Griffindor, all of my family was in that house excpet my brother Noah. I'm Half-Blood." She spook lazly as she felt her eyelids get heaver.

Arya giggled at Allison's evil laugh as she leaned her head against the window. She felt her slef dozing off but forced herslef to stay awake. This became harder for her when Allison had fallen asleep.

"Didn't miss a thing Anastasia..." Arya yawned before resting her head back on the window and closing her eyes. She could no longer stay awake, Allison was already sleep and Perseus had been asleep for some time now. Finally she stoped fighting it and drifted off into a deep sleep.

Arya slowly opened her eyes as Persus attempted to wake her. Rubbing her eyes she noticed that she and Allison where the only ones still sleep. Quickly grabing her trunk and Persus' cage, she placed in it and ran after all the other first years off the train and towards the lake where they would finally head to Hogwarts.

The train slowly came to a stop. Many seemed to have suddenly awaken at the soft lurch the train made. Allison and Arya made off with their things, as well as other occupiers of the compartment and made their way outside into Hogsmeade station. Gwen mimicked them; she didn't want to feel lonely on the boat ride up to the castle.

She made her way outside, and saw a crowd of first years being lured to the side. Gwen followed, looking around to see familiar faces.

"That's good. Good luck at try-outs." Carter said. He then spotted Ella too. "Ella!" he exclaimed walking into her compartment as well.

"That's fun!" Cady said as the train started to slow down. "Well, it was great to meet you Natasha! I'll see you around school!" She began gathering her things and turned to Melanie

"Lanie! Come on, let's get to the Great Hall before all the good seats are taken!" and she grabbed her best friend's hand and started to drag her out of the compartment.

Chris noticed that Alex seemed to be zoning out again, but he didn't say anything. She seemed to be thinking about something nice- and who would want to ruin that train of thought?

He laughed as she talked about them juggling... and the mess that it would be. "It does sound perfect," he said with a warm smile. "We shall have to arrange to head to Paris in order to accomplish this great feat!" he said with a laugh. "Maybe we'll even make the national news!" he added with a laugh.

"Indeed I am! And it was quite worth it!" he said with a grin. "Yeah, my best friend and I managed to run into a lot of girls- both figuratively and literally," he said with a chuckle. "But, you have been the best," he said, inclining his head slightly. He was actually enjoying himself, with little to no embarrassment. However, if there was no embarrassment, why did his face feel slightly heated? And, he couldn't help but watch as her hair soared over her shoulder in a graceful arch.

"Don't lie... you were not!" he said with a laugh. Did he want to admit that he was thinking the same thing? Maybe later, when they knew one another a little better. "Well, I think you could fit... but I think that is something we shouldn't try!" he said, shaking his head as he continued to laugh.

"Yes mom..." he said, hanging his head in shame. However, he glanced out at her from under his longer hair and grinned. He raised his head as she reconsidered and gave conditions for his feat. "Yes, but I believe the problem might be that you would toss the water on as soon as I light the knives... before I even begin to juggle!" he said laughing. "As for safer..." he shrugged with a grin. "If you think so, then sure!"

"Eh, I guess it matches," he said, holding up his left hand and studying the pinky. "I guess I'll keep it..." he said, laughing with her. It was amazing how their conversation had meandered from one topic to another... but apparently it was going well. She was doubled over with laughter already.

Eventually, they both stopped laughing, and he had to wipe tears from the corners of his eyes. Soon, she had the three juggling balls in her hand once more and he had to laugh as she repeated his new name for them. As she extended her hand, he reached out to take them. As he did, one began to fall, and he wrapped both of his hands around her own. "Sorry," he said softly, looking in to her eyes with a warm smile.

Just then, he felt the train slow and he looked out the window. "It looks like we're nearing our destination... I guess I will see you around the school?" he asked her. Probably not often, they were different years, and she probably already had her friends.

THERE were her besties.

"Hey, guys!" Ella said happiily, catching onto a few words Mina had said before calling to her. "Quidditch practice? Impressive. You are so going to make the team." Feeling a bit goofy, she put her hand lightly on Mina's shoulder and said in a gruff voice, head high, "I believe in you."

Laughing, she turned to Carter. She racked her brains for something to talk about, because it almost seemed as if they talked about everything. Hesitantly, she just added on about Quidditch. "How 'bout you? Got your practice? You're going to need it! I've been training pretty hard on my Oakshaft," she said with a wink.

Stella walked through the train trying to find somewhere to sit, which was rather hard, because she did not know anyone there, she walked slowly and nervously trying to find an empty seat.

"Nope, haven't had the chance. But I will be as soon as we get back." Carter said with a smirk. He was excited to climb on his broom and soar across the lake.

That meant Ella had more practice than him. HAHA!

"I can't wait 'til tryouts. I've been practicing Chaser too, so.. BEWAREEE." she said in that mystical type of voice again. It was fun to talk in; she sounded so eerie, it even creeped herself out. Awkward.

Mina smiled to her friend. "Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm sure I'll do fine, but even if I don't make the team, I have a back up plan." she explained. "One can never be too prepared, you know?"

Mina looked at Carter and laughed. "So I take it you managed to keep all your school stuff away from Anya." she said as she though of his little sister. She could only imagine how the summer had gone for him since she last saw them in Diagon Alley.

"Sounds like you might have some competition," she laughed softly. "Either way, I'm sure I'll be rooting you both on from the stands," she added with a smile. She did still hold hope for her own try-outs.

She smiled brightly. "It was good seeing you, too. I'll see you around." Natasha said, having to put Candela back in her cage, as much as she tried not to be. She grabbed her things and started to move off of the train. Like she could hear Cadence saying to Melanie, she wanted a good seat at her table.
