"One shouldn't prod into others' personal lives uninvited," said Daphne in a sing song voice, her eyes darting over the words written on the letters. "He said he was fine and that he didn't kiss you."

Daphne didn't believe that one. HEHE. Raiden Kururugi apparently smooched little girls.

She stared up at him for a bit before giggling. RAIDEN DATES LITTLE GIRLS. OH. THE LULZ!

Which were interrupted by Garret. STARING at the boy, Daphne shook her head slowly from side to side. "You're impossible," she murmured. "We were trying to have some girl talk."

STARE. "You're not after something again, are you?" Odd. Little. Man.


"We should?" whispered Daphne too, tapping her chin. "We should think about it later." SHIFTY!GLANCE.

Humming, Daphne nodded as Celandine explained and as she read. The blond Gryffindor girl hurried through the Kettleburn letter. It was bit uncomfortable to read. The way Copernicus wrote to Cela let Daphne know just--how close and intimate their relationship was; it almost felt like an invasion of privacy. Clearing her throat, Daphne tilted her head and speedily finished reading the other letters.

"That's really nice of them, isn't it?" spoke Daphne, staring at the necklace a bit. "I mean, Robert didn't really write much..." Daphne almost believed he was a bit, you know, not real. Like--an imprint of someone who was supposed to be Cela's brother. A bit creepy really. She liked Keiran the best. After Nicholai of course. "But I guess this present means how much he is proud of you, right?"

Right? Because Daphne was proud of her too! "I'm proud of you, Celly baby. I really am," she confessed. "Sure, Garret is too!" exclaimed the blond at last and sort of squished Garret between herself and Celandine.

GROUP!HUG.

"Well other then the writing i dont do very much outside of school. School remains the only place where i do pretty much everything there is to do." Damon continued reading his book and made many observations of the outside areas. He was getting hungry but just like first term he thought he could wait until the feast.

Jade snorted in disbelif. "School is the place you do the most? That is both sad and saddening." Jade watched him for a moment, furrowed her eyebrows and sighed. She put the finishing touches on the flower she had been drawing and tossed it on the seat next to her. After looking at the time she knew she could fit in a decent nap and her campanion seemed preoccupied so she said, "Well, I'll leave you it it then," and leaned up against the wall using her coat as a pillow.

Celandine gave Raiden a curious look at all the kissing talk but the thought was washed away when Daphne started talking and Cela busied herself with reading her letters too.

Celandine was pouting and sniffling like crazy by the end of it.

"I don't want to send him a howler." She murmured in a tiny voice.

She started reading Adri's letter while she was still sniffling, surprisingly that didn't make things much better. Adri didn't say stuff like that to her often, but when he did he meant it.

Nico's cheered her a little. GOSH. She wasn't a TWERP anymore! Of COURSE he felt the need to remind her that her badge wasn't a status symbol. Honestly she sooo knew that, it was just a bonus that it was shiny (like her).

GASP.

Celandine looked in the necklace case and gently pulled the sapphire and diamond necklace free, blinking in surprise.

"I think thats what it means." Cela agreed quietly, holding the sparkling and glittering jewels (in a fitting Ravenclaw blue) up to the light. "He doesn't like... say much about feelings stuff." Like even compared to the others.

Holding it gently in her hand, the letters all cradled in her lap, Cela too got caught up in a squishy group hug, sniffling into Garret's shoulder a bit.

"Its ours okay? Badge for the pirates. Like a spy."

She was like, on the inside.

Sniffle.

"And this is the booty." She held the sapphire necklace up again and offered it to Daphne to look at/play with.

"What do you think is a better place for me do to stuff then" said Damon calmly "If there are any alternatives i would gladly see to it that i could do them I wouldn't mind doing something new" Damon noticed her trying to sleep and hoped she could hear him say this. "take it easy" He said to her. Then it was back to what he was doing. He felt peaceful as he always did.

Ugh.

Good thing he was changing into his school robes later, cos he didn't want to walk into the castle with Cela's snot all over his shoulder. The necklace that she offered up for booty was probably enough to feed his family for a couple of months, but he didn't think too deeply about it (as he was wont to do), "D'you fink it would annoy your brovver if you share that with ovver people?"

Even though he wasn't much of a hug receiver, his hands tightened on Daphne and Cela's shoulders and drew them in close. He liked giving hugs, occasionally. To certain people.

Jade, hearing what he had said, responed with, "I'll see what I can come up with." and then curled up into a ball and began to drift into dreams.

"Thanks" Emily said and seated herself in the window seat next to Allison "I'm Emily, and yea im a first year too" She smiled.

Over the course of the next few hours, several others joined their compartment. Emily was so excited to see hogwarts that she gazed out the window most of the trip, watching the beautiful scenery and only getting up to change out of her skinny jeans and tee shirt into her new robes.

Just because she was feeling generous (and ignoring everyone else in the compartment intently), Daphne intensified the group hug. She even threw in a bit of sniffling; just making sure someone (who was male) was bathing regularly when she wasn't around to bug him.

...Outdoorsy smell. Garrety smell. Not bad but not...well...hmm.

While Daphne held the necklace to herself, she....tried not to correct Garret's speech. The boy was never going to change, was he? "I'm not sure Robert knows what that feeling is so he can't possibly be 'bovvered'."

Did he even...feel?

That imprint of a human being? Odd man.

"Hi Sarah" Bella said wiping the tears from her eyes. She slightly turned and grabbed Trixie and her luggage. She followed the girl back to her seat. Once she was settled she sat down, looking at her hands.
"As i said its...complicated" She said then, the tears no longer flowing

He smirked at the sound of the word he used to often, in that manner, coming from Daphne's usually over-the-top self in her posh tones, "Well, it is nice, innit?" he offered, pulling the arm behind Cela's shoulders away to stroke the glittering necklace with a tip of his finger. As he did so, he couldn't quite help turning his head ever so slightly and taking a whiff of Daphne's hair.

She smelled nice. She always smells nice. Like soap and flowers and that weird, nice, girly sweat smell that wasn't bad at all.

"Then don't sit on meee. Your bigger than me you hurt meeee." She shook her head. Hmph, she straightend her trousers and called Charlie back over to her. She petted his fur and smiled down at him as Blake went and yelled someone, who was Helena ? Ooooh she was that nice girl that made Nikki stop picking on her yush that was her. "Fine i'll play you, when I think of how to do it." All she had to do was lie and flirt with Nikki Oh and extend words yush that should do it. "Noooo. You scared him he's not going anywhere. Poor thing." she petted him, Poor Charlie. "dont worry I wont let scary Blake hurt you."

Damon was watching Jade rest across from him and of course he was sitting at a far enough distance. He decided he would be as quiet as he could be while this was going on now. The compartment remained fairly unused because of the fact that there were only two students in it. He wondered if anyone else would join. He continued to read and write notes.

Bonnie leaned against some random door of a compartment. She flicked back her hair and out of the corner of her eye saw Damon and a girl sleeping. A smile crept on her lips. Hey she mouthed to Damon and waved slightly.

Giving Arya a big grin Allison closed her bunny pack. It was time to settle down with the chocolates. She had had one too many already.

That's when Katherine mentioned the patronus and had Allison nearly slipping of her chair. At age 12?! Unheard of. She thought back to her family and how theirs would take on a form. That sort of magic was difficult and already Allison looked forward to learning how to do it.

She was still surprised about the age so before she spoke Allison made sure she didn't trip over any words, "That's insane! Merlin's beard it almost makes me jealous! It's quite difficult to perform such a spell. Most students don't get to perform one...until their 7th year! And that's if their lucky...and well talented. I hadn't even dreamed of getting a patronus yet."

Shaking her head Allison reached over and placed her finger on Anastasia's shoulder waiting for the butterfly to get on her finger. "My brother got his patronus in his 5th year. My mother was so proud. To think 12. Bloody Mary. You know, it makes me think though, what on earth will my patronus be. My mum had a butterfly and my brother a tiger...I don't know about my father's but eh, whatevs."

The second the butterfly was on her finger Allison wished she could nuzzle it without killing it. "Do you all know if one can kill conjured insects?" Not that she wanted to try, but she needed to know so that she would be more careful with it. She knew for sure that it wouldn't die like a normal butterfly would...this one was of magic, but still...she wished to know if it was as mortal as any other.

Looking at Emily put on her robes Allison wondered if she should do the same. Were they near yet? Oh she hoped not! Even if she was excited she was terrified about the sorting. Would she end up with Arya, Anastasia and company...or would she end up alone?

Frowning she hugged her bunny pack tighter.

"Hey Bonnie" said Damon in a quiet voice "good to see you here. Come in and find a seat." Damon opened the compartment door for her to come in. He wondered if another student would show up. This would make it even with four students. "So Bonnie are you ready for the next term?" Damon asked.

Bonnie pressed a finger against her lips and took a seat next to Damon. "Yes." she whispered in a tiny voice. "How are you?" she said quietly.

"Im doing well" said Damon "Ive just been doing a lot of book reading with my friend here. Are you doing good yourself. I would hope you had a lot of fun over the break i know i did." Damon said softly. He moved his feet again as keeping them in one place was not easy.

Bonnie forced back a smirk and tried to take up as much space as possible. "Good!" she sniggered, while she pulled her back into a pony tail.

"Very good to hear" said Damon. "Have you had anything to eat yet. I havent been hungry forever. I seem to be able to last on just the energy i have as it is now." Damon checked to make sure his wand was safe as he normally did. He did not want to give it up like he did last term. It was in good condition.

Bonnie moved so that they both had space.
"Na!" she said shaking her head an dusting down her dress.

Cedric gazed at Vida. She seemed surprised when she's seen him. Maybe it was because, he didn't knock at all before he entered. As he kissed her on the cheek, he felt like so happy and joyous 'cause he'd kissed her and for a shy guy like him, he never knew that he could do that but well, he's only shy when it comes to her but on other people, he was out and proud.

"I'm glad that you've missed me too." Cedric replied to her, smiling gently. He was quite close to Vida, they were like just an inch apart and he was quite enjoying the vicinity between them. He took Vida's hand, holding it like what they did when they were at WWW's. "So how have you been after the last time we'd seen each other?" asked Cedric curiously on his soft, gentle voice as he put his head on Vida's shoulder, he smelled the girl's perfume; it smells awesome and he loves her scent.

"Well hopefully the feast will be good then" Damon said "I always look forward to that startup feast when it come to going to the school." Damon sighed happily for some reason. "Well the good thing is that we all get to do a lot of things at school. It keeps me busy."

Bonnie sighed and shook her head.

Damon went back to his book reading and note taking and glanced at bonnie a few times. "Bonnie i hope you brought something to keep you busy. Still i think talking will make the time go by faster as we get to the castle."
